The StoneZONE with Roger Stone - The Stone Zone ｜ 12-24-25

00:00:00.000 Every week, the Payne family cuts straight to the real financial story.

00:00:04.460 The one question, Bob, everyone's asking is, are we in an artificial intelligence bubble?

00:00:10.080 You've been through boom and busts. What do you think?

00:00:12.860 No hype, no myths, just what actually matters to your money.

00:00:17.440 Does feel very similar to what we experienced in the 90s. Where are we,

00:00:21.460 though? Are we in 1995, 1997, 1999?

00:00:25.300 Listen to the Payne Points of Wealth on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:00:30.000 The Stone Zone. Entertaining and informative.

00:00:33.880 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:00:37.440 You are now entering the Stone Zone.

00:00:41.360 What is better than New York at Christmas?

00:00:43.860 The Christmas tree lighting at Rockefeller Center, followed by dinner at the old 21 Club.

00:00:50.500 Skating in Central Park.

00:00:52.280 The Oyster Bar underneath Grand Central Station.

00:00:56.280 The once great Waldorf Astoria.

00:00:58.400 Great place to go for cocktails.

00:01:00.000 It's all now gone.

00:01:02.480 I really love New York, but I miss the old spots.

00:01:05.760 I was heartbroken over the fact that because of a schedule conflict,

00:01:10.500 I couldn't go to the Italian-American Civil Rights League Christmas celebration,

00:01:16.880 which took place in Little Italy in New York City.

00:01:19.680 I'm one of the founders of the group.

00:01:22.220 If you're interested, by the way, in fighting to protect Italian culture, heritage,

00:01:27.560 and the great contributions made to America by Italian-Americans and oppose anti-Italian-American bias,

00:01:35.380 you can go to IACRL.org, ItalianAmericanCivilRightsLeague.org.

00:01:44.380 It is a non-profit.

00:01:46.380 There's no staff.

00:01:47.620 There's no overhead.

00:01:48.320 Nobody's making money on this.

00:01:49.600 This is everyone involved is a volunteer working to preserve the great contribution made to America by Italian-Americans,

00:01:58.140 fighting to those who would take down statues of Christopher Columbus,

00:02:02.920 and others who would ignore the great contributions made to this nation by Italian-Americans.

00:02:10.720 I hated missing that.

00:02:12.600 It will most definitely be there next year.

00:02:15.780 This week brought the shocking news, not all that shocking to some of us from Georgia,

00:02:21.220 that there is now absolute proof that there were 315,000 completely illegal ballots that were counted in the Democrat stronghold of Fulton County.

00:02:34.760 The claim that this happened was used to destroy Rudy Giuliani and to prosecute a number of others who questioned the results of that election.

00:02:47.640 In the famous telephone call with Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger,

00:02:53.460 the phone call that was noted by those in the Congress that they tried to raise during the impeachment,

00:03:01.400 if one would listen to the entire phone call, and it's not just the president and Raffensperger post-election,

00:03:07.540 there are seven attorneys on the call with them.

00:03:11.220 Trump does not say, in context, he says, fine me 12,000 votes.

00:03:15.860 What he says is, the margin right now is 12,000 votes, but you have counted at least 351 votes in Fulton County that are illegal.

00:03:26.540 Once you throw them out, I would win this contest, which turns out to be true.

00:03:31.760 But this is really just the beginning,

00:03:33.800 because President Trump has authorized and Susie Wiles has organized a special task force headed by the National Director of Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard,

00:03:49.220 to examine the integrity and security of these electronic voting machines,

00:03:55.180 as well as examining the integrity of the mail-in ballot process.

00:04:04.260 I have heard that they have hard, hard evidence that these electronic voting machines,

00:04:11.220 first of all, they are connected to the Internet and they can be and have been manipulated.

00:04:16.520 President Trump himself has alluded to the fact that he has this information.

00:04:21.560 He won in 2016 by a lot.

00:04:24.640 The election was rigged in 2020.

00:04:26.460 We have all the ammunition, all the stuff, and you'll see it come out.

00:04:29.180 It's coming out in truckload.

00:04:31.840 This is obviously, remains to be seen, a final report,

00:04:35.940 but sources tell me that they can trace some of the election interference

00:04:43.640 and manipulations to machines that a company is based, actually, in Venezuela,

00:04:49.680 machines that were used in Venezuela.

00:04:52.620 There's also direct evidence of some Chinese interference.

00:04:57.020 Now, it has to be more than conjecture or supposition or theory.

00:05:02.840 The president wants facts, but there's growing evidence of the 2020 election and its falsity.

00:05:11.120 First of all, the fact that 81 million people supposedly voted for Joe Biden,

00:05:15.860 that would be roughly 7 million more than voted for Barack Obama, who was a much superior candidate.

00:05:23.220 And they expect to tell us that on average, in African-American precincts across the country,

00:05:28.400 the most traditionally Democrat voters,

00:05:31.740 although a constituency that Donald Trump made deep inroads in,

00:05:36.320 in the 2024 election,

00:05:39.520 they voted, on average, 20 percent higher for Joe Biden than they did for Barack Obama,

00:05:46.740 who, whether you like him or not, is a historic figure,

00:05:50.340 our first African-American president,

00:05:53.320 and a much stronger candidate than Joe Biden.

00:05:56.540 So the numbers really continue to defy belief.

00:06:01.420 There are credible reports across the country.

00:06:06.200 I think we all saw at 3 o'clock in the morning when we went to bed, Donald Trump was leading.

00:06:11.220 And at precisely the same time, across at least three states,

00:06:15.320 as many as 300,000 paper ballots mysteriously show up from nowhere

00:06:20.440 and are thrown into the count.

00:06:22.920 Michigan is particularly egregious.

00:06:24.700 The Republican poll watchers and the Republican officials are thrown out of the count center.

00:06:33.140 The windows are boarded up so no one can see what is happening.

00:06:37.420 We have video of a white van arriving with a large number of ballots and dropping them off.

00:06:44.880 There is eyewitness testimony and witness testimony and video of two women

00:06:51.000 who would later sue Rudy Giuliani successfully, removing ballots out from under a table

00:06:56.600 and throwing them into the count.

00:06:59.380 So this whole issue, which was used really to destroy Rudy Giuliani,

00:07:05.840 a man who cannot be destroyed because he is indestructible.

00:07:09.700 I've met a lot of tough guys in my day.

00:07:11.980 Richard Nixon was a very tough guy, clawed his way back from political ruin and obscurity.

00:07:18.400 Senator Bob Dole, who I served as a U.S. senator from Kansas.

00:07:24.200 I was a special assistant for two years to Senator Dole.

00:07:28.580 He was a very tough guy.

00:07:30.500 He was a genuine World War II hero.

00:07:34.020 He'd actually been hit by a shell in Italy.

00:07:38.400 He came back to the United States horrifically wounded,

00:07:41.860 was told that he would never walk again,

00:07:44.280 he would never feed himself again,

00:07:45.860 he would never have the use of his limbs again.

00:07:50.220 But through sheer perseverance and pulleys and weights and a very tough regimen,

00:07:59.200 he nursed himself back to total functionality.

00:08:04.540 He had a bad right arm.

00:08:06.900 So when I worked for him, if he had steak, I used to have to cut it for him.

00:08:10.620 He had a little trouble, you know, buttoning all of his buttons.

00:08:14.180 He couldn't tie his shoes by himself, but he wore buckle-on shoes.

00:08:17.800 He was a true American hero.

00:08:20.080 He would have been a great American president.

00:08:21.980 He ran tragically in 1988,

00:08:25.060 and he got snuffed by the Bush machine,

00:08:28.720 who really had a hammer hold on the party money

00:08:33.700 and the party apparatus post-Trump.

00:08:37.980 By the time we nominated Bob Dole in 1996,

00:08:40.960 although he put on a valiant struggle against Clinton,

00:08:43.980 his time had passed, although people don't realize,

00:08:46.700 Bob Dole carried six more states as a non-incumbent in 1996

00:08:51.660 than George H.W. Bush did in 1992.

00:08:57.260 But he is a very tough guy.

00:09:00.540 But again, neither, I think, Giuliani in that same realm

00:09:04.580 in terms of toughness.

00:09:06.120 And this effort to destroy him over the election results,

00:09:10.920 to impoverish him, to disbar him, to silence him,

00:09:14.500 well, he won't be silenced.

00:09:16.700 And despite his recent accident and his injuries,

00:09:19.860 he continues to do a daily show.

00:09:22.780 This is a reservoir of energy and patriotism

00:09:26.460 that is unparalleled.

00:09:29.560 And now he's being vindicated,

00:09:31.680 and he will be vindicated further by this report,

00:09:35.260 I believe, by Tulsi Gabbard.

00:09:38.200 Now, sources tell me that there are certain elements

00:09:41.420 in the Central Intelligence Agency

00:09:43.580 with input into this task force

00:09:46.000 who may not want too close an examination

00:09:48.740 of the technology that is used to manipulate elections

00:09:52.060 because there's a high probability

00:09:54.060 that our own intelligence agencies

00:09:56.660 have manipulated elections abroad.

00:09:59.260 We know firsthand about the Ukrainian coup d'etat,

00:10:06.300 the color revolution orchestrated by our State Department.

00:10:12.760 That is outrageous enough.

00:10:14.980 We basically staged a violent coup

00:10:17.920 against a duly elected president.

00:10:21.560 And there is more to this record

00:10:27.040 of meddling in foreign elections,

00:10:29.720 which, of course, we have always, always done.

00:10:32.480 When Boris Yeltsin was elected,

00:10:34.540 USIA spent millions of dollars,

00:10:37.620 I think, registering voters

00:10:39.180 and promoting democracy in that country.

00:10:42.340 So, this really does remain to be seen.

00:10:46.400 I'm very excited to be with you

00:10:47.640 for my special Christmas show.

00:10:49.260 I think we stay on the edge of something really ancient

00:10:51.380 and something truly eternal.

00:10:53.520 After long years, we've had noise,

00:10:57.300 chaos, division, and uncertainty.

00:10:59.240 We arrive, I think at last,

00:11:01.820 at the quiet moment the world's been waiting for.

00:11:04.760 I think one ancient preacher put it,

00:11:06.800 we have come in from the stormy sea

00:11:08.800 into a calm harbor.

00:11:10.560 That's what I consider the holidays,

00:11:12.620 a time to reflect,

00:11:14.340 a time to think,

00:11:15.700 a time to write,

00:11:17.280 a time to think about the things

00:11:19.000 you have done wrong

00:11:20.000 and pledge not to do them again,

00:11:22.560 to focus on the things you have done right,

00:11:26.020 and to do more of them,

00:11:28.280 to be reverent to God.

00:11:30.640 For thousands of years,

00:11:32.180 humanity cried out,

00:11:33.260 not for bigger government,

00:11:34.260 not for stronger rulers,

00:11:35.960 not for comforts,

00:11:36.900 but for mercy.

00:11:38.580 The prophets cried,

00:11:40.100 rend the heavens and come down.

00:11:41.780 Kings rose and fell.

00:11:43.160 Empires came and went.

00:11:44.340 Men tried power, wealth, 0.82

00:11:46.340 and ideology to fill the void,

00:11:48.260 but the world remains unimpressed

00:11:49.860 because we are a Christian nation,

00:11:53.820 and it is only through my own redemption

00:11:57.060 in the blood of the cross

00:11:58.620 that I'm able to be with you

00:12:01.020 on the radio today

00:12:02.460 and not locked up

00:12:03.860 in some dank Georgia prison

00:12:05.840 or far more likely in my case

00:12:08.000 because I was sentenced

00:12:09.440 to four years in prison

00:12:12.280 and I have a lifelong history

00:12:15.520 of asthma,

00:12:17.140 and the Bureau of Prisons

00:12:18.320 insisted on sending me

00:12:19.660 to a prison in Georgia,

00:12:21.140 far from my home,

00:12:22.540 where the prison officials insisted

00:12:24.280 and the Bureau of Prisons

00:12:25.140 insisted there were no COVID cases

00:12:26.780 and there was no danger.

00:12:29.560 Fortunately for me,

00:12:30.520 the African-American woman

00:12:32.080 who was the head

00:12:32.660 of the prison guards union

00:12:33.800 at this particular Georgia prison

00:12:35.620 saw that and the media

00:12:36.680 contacted one of my lawyers

00:12:38.500 to say that there were

00:12:39.380 600 cases of COVID.

00:12:43.780 There were at least 200 confirmed cases

00:12:45.920 and they were pending

00:12:46.740 the results of 400 tests.

00:12:49.320 So it really was a death sentence

00:12:51.500 and I thank God for saving me

00:12:54.660 from the deadly snare

00:12:57.060 set by Robert Mueller

00:12:59.580 and Adam Schiff

00:13:01.460 and the entire cabal,

00:13:05.100 John Brennan,

00:13:06.380 James Comey,

00:13:08.080 and so on.

00:13:09.100 I talked a lot about

00:13:10.040 whether we're going to see

00:13:10.880 justice and accountability

00:13:12.140 for these people.

00:13:13.980 They're the ones

00:13:14.540 who keep screaming,

00:13:15.400 Trump is on a rampage

00:13:16.640 of revenge

00:13:17.240 and retribution

00:13:18.860 when in fact

00:13:19.720 they just wish

00:13:21.220 to avoid punishment

00:13:22.300 for the fact

00:13:22.900 that they broke the law

00:13:23.860 and they violated

00:13:25.100 the Constitution

00:13:25.980 in their manic efforts

00:13:27.220 to destroy Donald Trump

00:13:29.140 who has risen

00:13:31.040 like a phoenix

00:13:32.040 from the ashes

00:13:33.100 to have a smashingly

00:13:34.920 successful first year

00:13:36.600 in office

00:13:37.160 where all the fundamentals

00:13:38.800 have been laid down

00:13:40.580 in terms of tax cuts

00:13:42.300 and regulatory cuts

00:13:43.380 and soon monetary reforms

00:13:45.860 and soon a lower income tax rate

00:13:48.660 to make America boom.

00:13:50.880 Remember what my friend

00:13:51.720 Larry Kudlow says,

00:13:52.860 a rising tide

00:13:54.500 lifts all boats.

00:13:56.140 He is paraphrasing Jack Kemp

00:13:58.300 who was paraphrasing

00:13:59.800 John F. Kennedy.

00:14:01.540 Kennedy said that

00:14:02.740 when he cut federal taxes

00:14:04.560 across the board,

00:14:06.000 Ronald Reagan cut federal taxes

00:14:07.580 across the board,

00:14:08.300 but neither one of them

00:14:09.040 cut taxes as deeply

00:14:10.520 as extensively

00:14:11.340 as President Donald Trump

00:14:13.560 and it is an absolute fact

00:14:16.300 that federal revenues

00:14:18.600 spike greatly 1.00

00:14:19.620 after every federal income tax.

00:14:21.500 Our deficits are caused

00:14:22.880 not by not taxing enough,

00:14:24.660 our deficits are caused

00:14:25.760 by spending too much.

00:14:28.180 So the fundamentals

00:14:29.500 have been laid for us

00:14:30.580 to have a great, great year.

00:14:32.760 You're listening to

00:14:33.880 The Stone Zone here.

00:14:35.220 I'm Roger Stone.

00:14:36.560 It's Christmas

00:14:37.300 and we've got a lot more coming up,

00:14:39.060 so please don't touch that dial.

00:14:41.460 Every week,

00:14:44.440 the Payne family

00:14:45.260 cuts straight to the real

00:14:46.600 financial story.

00:14:47.900 The one question, Bob,

00:14:49.040 everyone's asking is,

00:14:50.840 are we in an artificial

00:14:52.020 intelligence bubble?

00:14:53.500 You've been through

00:14:54.280 boom and busts.

00:14:55.500 What do you think?

00:14:56.300 No hype,

00:14:57.260 no myths,

00:14:58.500 just what actually matters

00:14:59.840 to your money.

00:15:00.920 It does feel very similar

00:15:02.480 to what we experienced

00:15:03.720 in the 90s.

00:15:04.400 Where are we, though?

00:15:05.080 Are we in 1995,

00:15:06.480 1997,

00:15:07.700 1999?

00:15:45.160 The Stone Zone.

00:15:47.040 Entertaining and informative.

00:15:49.180 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:15:52.440 Welcome back into the Stone Zone.

00:15:56.380 So, we are preparing

00:15:58.040 to celebrate the birth

00:16:00.100 of Jesus Christ, our Lord.

00:16:02.000 I was very candid

00:16:03.520 about the fact

00:16:04.640 that I had been raised

00:16:06.500 as a Roman Catholic.

00:16:07.800 I had my first

00:16:09.360 Holy Communion

00:16:10.780 at St. Aloysius Church

00:16:13.780 in New Canaan, Connecticut.

00:16:15.260 I was baptized

00:16:15.880 at St. Mary's

00:16:17.040 in Norwalk, Connecticut.

00:16:19.280 I had my Holy Confirmation

00:16:20.680 at St. Aloysius

00:16:21.680 in New Canaan as well.

00:16:23.680 But I had fallen

00:16:24.660 very far from the Lord

00:16:25.800 when I was a

00:16:26.540 high-powered

00:16:27.760 Washington power broker,

00:16:29.680 political consultant,

00:16:30.580 and some time lobbyist

00:16:32.940 under Reagan

00:16:34.060 and a hard-boiled

00:16:36.620 political operative.

00:16:38.100 But when I was targeted

00:16:40.160 for destruction

00:16:41.040 because I refused

00:16:42.340 to testify falsely

00:16:43.500 against Donald Trump,

00:16:45.040 it was Franklin Graham,

00:16:46.620 among others,

00:16:47.540 and Charlie Kirk,

00:16:49.000 and a young pastor

00:16:50.360 named Randy Coggins

00:16:51.360 who all urged me

00:16:52.520 to take refuge

00:16:54.440 in the Lord

00:16:55.240 as a vengeful

00:16:57.220 federal government

00:16:58.060 and a viciously

00:16:59.240 partisan federal judge

00:17:00.960 set about my destruction.

00:17:03.660 I was never afforded

00:17:04.800 a fair trial.

00:17:05.580 Of course,

00:17:05.840 we learned out later

00:17:06.600 that the judge

00:17:07.760 withheld exculpatory evidence

00:17:09.540 from my defense attorneys.

00:17:11.180 We asked for Robert Mueller's

00:17:12.740 entire unredacted

00:17:13.920 final report,

00:17:14.700 which we were entitled to

00:17:15.720 under federal law

00:17:17.100 as a defendant.

00:17:17.860 It was denied to us,

00:17:19.360 but we now know

00:17:19.980 why it was denied.

00:17:20.860 On page 178,

00:17:22.600 it specifically says

00:17:23.680 that they found

00:17:24.240 no evidence

00:17:24.780 of Russian collusion,

00:17:26.360 WikiLeaks collaboration,

00:17:27.720 or any other crime

00:17:29.040 on my part.

00:17:30.340 The judge refused

00:17:31.280 to release that.

00:17:32.100 She actually said

00:17:32.740 she would read

00:17:33.440 the entire report

00:17:34.440 in her chambers

00:17:35.180 and she would give us

00:17:36.640 the segments

00:17:37.220 relevant to me.

00:17:39.140 Somehow she left

00:17:39.940 that section out

00:17:41.040 of the meaningless stuff

00:17:42.600 that she did give

00:17:43.860 my lawyers.

00:17:45.160 It is very much

00:17:46.480 a broken system.

00:17:48.840 But when I went public

00:17:50.600 and said that I had been

00:17:51.900 redeemed in the blood

00:17:52.780 of the cross,

00:17:53.920 and it was very interesting

00:17:56.620 because I was given

00:17:58.960 the personal Bible

00:18:02.120 of the famous

00:18:04.240 Christian evangelist,

00:18:07.180 Kim Clement.

00:18:08.000 Kim Clement was a South African 0.84

00:18:10.340 who had many, many,

00:18:13.820 I won't call them visions,

00:18:14.980 but God revealed

00:18:15.780 a number of things to him.

00:18:17.240 Kim Clement was a famous

00:18:19.000 Christian musician

00:18:20.000 and evangelist

00:18:21.120 who foresaw the rise

00:18:22.660 of Donald Trump,

00:18:23.560 foresaw the effort

00:18:24.340 to impeach him,

00:18:25.480 which he said would fail.

00:18:27.000 Also talks about

00:18:28.340 the nation being saved

00:18:30.880 by a simple stone.

00:18:32.240 He says,

00:18:32.860 a simple stone,

00:18:34.020 remember that name.

00:18:35.620 The analogy, of course,

00:18:37.040 is to David and Goliath.

00:18:38.900 So, by the way,

00:18:39.920 I'm not saying

00:18:40.380 that I'm a saint

00:18:41.060 or that I am,

00:18:42.480 I don't know

00:18:43.140 whether I'm that stone.

00:18:44.000 God will tell me

00:18:45.140 whether I am

00:18:45.700 the simple stone.

00:18:47.340 But Washington Monthly

00:18:48.740 actually mocked me

00:18:50.560 for my protestation

00:18:52.780 of my faith,

00:18:53.980 profession,

00:18:54.560 I should say,

00:18:55.260 of my faith.

00:18:56.400 I don't really care

00:18:57.480 what they think,

00:18:58.780 to be honest with you.

00:18:59.300 I don't really care

00:18:59.800 what elitist liberals think.

00:19:01.800 I only care

00:19:02.820 what he thinks.

00:19:05.080 Because, you see,

00:19:05.640 you can't fool God.

00:19:06.760 God knows what's

00:19:07.940 in your heart.

00:19:09.020 I'm a different person

00:19:10.140 than I was 15 years ago,

00:19:12.240 five years ago,

00:19:13.600 two years ago,

00:19:15.140 and I keep trying

00:19:16.580 to get better.

00:19:17.780 Being a half Sicilian,

00:19:19.200 the hard part

00:19:19.900 is forgiving your enemies.

00:19:22.360 I say forgive,

00:19:23.760 but never, ever forget.

00:19:26.560 That's the Italian in me.

00:19:28.920 In any event,

00:19:29.660 you're listening

00:19:30.180 to The Stone Zone.

00:19:31.240 I'm Roger Stone.

00:19:32.500 We'll be back

00:19:33.180 with more politics

00:19:34.220 and more talk

00:19:35.520 about what's important

00:19:36.540 to this Christmas

00:19:37.220 on the other side.

00:19:38.180 So, whatever you do,

00:19:39.240 don't go away.

00:19:44.300 The Stone Zone.

00:19:46.220 Entertaining and informative.

00:19:48.360 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:19:51.400 Welcome back

00:19:52.600 into The Stone Zone.

00:19:54.520 I am your genial host,

00:19:56.580 Roger Stone.

00:19:57.620 We're celebrating

00:19:58.760 Christmas Eve together.

00:20:01.460 In our household,

00:20:03.100 of course,

00:20:03.460 we have the traditional

00:20:05.360 Christmas dinner.

00:20:07.220 But first,

00:20:07.760 we have

00:20:08.500 a nice pasta course

00:20:10.800 and then I make

00:20:11.520 some brazo.

00:20:13.280 We make

00:20:13.980 some meatballs,

00:20:15.260 some hot

00:20:16.180 and sweet

00:20:16.720 Italian sausage.

00:20:17.740 Of course,

00:20:17.960 we're just coming off

00:20:19.160 the Feast of the

00:20:20.120 Seven Fishes,

00:20:21.220 a great tradition

00:20:22.360 for Italian Americans

00:20:23.940 and Catholics

00:20:25.120 that we still

00:20:26.480 observe

00:20:27.260 in our home.

00:20:28.980 and then later

00:20:30.500 later in the day

00:20:30.980 we'll get to

00:20:31.520 some of the more

00:20:32.140 traditional,

00:20:33.560 you know,

00:20:34.280 the Christmas goose

00:20:35.220 or the Christmas turkey,

00:20:37.440 all of the

00:20:39.140 more traditional things.

00:20:41.440 I look forward to

00:20:42.340 this meal

00:20:43.920 and this time together.

00:20:45.600 My grandson

00:20:46.420 is back from Hawaii

00:20:47.860 to visit

00:20:48.660 and perhaps

00:20:49.300 stay with us

00:20:50.380 for a while

00:20:51.340 and help out.

00:20:52.480 so that is

00:20:53.280 great to have

00:20:54.300 all my family

00:20:55.180 or most of my family

00:20:56.680 together.

00:20:57.180 My oldest

00:20:57.860 granddaughter,

00:20:59.800 who unfortunately

00:21:01.180 lives very close

00:21:02.080 to East Palestine,

00:21:03.120 Ohio,

00:21:03.760 will be visiting.

00:21:04.640 I'm very,

00:21:04.940 very excited

00:21:05.880 about that.

00:21:06.880 it is,

00:21:09.420 when you speak

00:21:10.300 of redemption,

00:21:12.360 you really have

00:21:12.960 to understand

00:21:13.560 the swamp

00:21:15.200 and the temptations

00:21:16.200 of the swamp.

00:21:16.840 Madison Cawthorne,

00:21:17.820 a former congressman

00:21:19.380 from North Carolina

00:21:20.620 and now running

00:21:21.320 again

00:21:21.820 to get back

00:21:23.200 into Congress

00:21:23.800 from a seat

00:21:24.460 in Florida

00:21:24.980 where he now

00:21:25.980 lives in the

00:21:26.600 Naples area,

00:21:27.780 was very,

00:21:28.560 very blunt

00:21:29.780 about this.

00:21:30.580 I think it's

00:21:30.900 one of the reasons

00:21:31.540 why he may

00:21:33.240 have been defeated.

00:21:34.260 A lot of special

00:21:34.960 interest money

00:21:35.740 came in

00:21:37.140 in North Carolina

00:21:37.940 in an effort

00:21:38.560 to silence

00:21:39.780 this conservative

00:21:41.180 because he spoke

00:21:42.320 openly about

00:21:43.240 the drugs,

00:21:45.100 the women, 0.96

00:21:46.280 the men,

00:21:47.280 the temptations,

00:21:48.420 the decadence

00:21:49.200 of Washington

00:21:50.580 and maybe

00:21:52.660 a little too blunt

00:21:53.920 and I,

00:21:55.340 you know,

00:21:55.680 I lived in that world

00:21:57.440 so I'm not ever

00:21:58.340 claiming that I was

00:21:59.360 a saint

00:21:59.880 but it's never

00:22:01.020 too late

00:22:01.660 for anybody.

00:22:02.540 Anyone can repent.

00:22:04.100 This is a God

00:22:04.940 of forgiveness

00:22:05.620 but I hope

00:22:06.220 that it is also

00:22:06.900 a God

00:22:07.380 of vengeance

00:22:08.500 because I do

00:22:09.520 think

00:22:09.860 that those

00:22:11.520 who sought

00:22:12.520 to destroy

00:22:13.400 Donald Trump

00:22:14.560 and General Flynn

00:22:15.440 particularly

00:22:16.020 and their families

00:22:17.540 as well as me

00:22:19.080 and many others,

00:22:22.120 Mike Caputo

00:22:23.120 being one,

00:22:26.260 George Papadopoulos

00:22:27.860 being yet another,

00:22:30.280 I think these people

00:22:31.560 need to be held

00:22:32.560 to account.

00:22:33.440 They broke laws.

00:22:34.660 Now,

00:22:35.220 it was interesting

00:22:35.820 to see that

00:22:36.420 just the news

00:22:37.400 reported

00:22:38.040 that John Brennan,

00:22:40.400 the former CIA director,

00:22:42.000 now if you don't know

00:22:43.600 who John Brennan is,

00:22:44.880 you should know

00:22:45.640 more about him.

00:22:46.360 He was the CIA director

00:22:47.420 under both Clinton 0.77

00:22:48.640 and Bush.

00:22:50.120 He was before that

00:22:51.560 the station chief

00:22:52.500 in Riyadh.

00:22:53.800 As the station chief

00:22:55.000 in Riyadh,

00:22:56.300 he signed the visa

00:22:57.840 for four of the men

00:22:59.220 who came to the United States

00:23:00.940 and were accused

00:23:02.500 of the 9-11 hijacking.

00:23:05.420 John Guandolo,

00:23:06.680 who was a long-time

00:23:07.760 counterintelligence officer

00:23:09.160 and others insist

00:23:11.260 that Brennan

00:23:11.940 actually converted

00:23:13.640 to Wahhabism, 0.88

00:23:15.280 which is a particularly

00:23:16.300 virulent stream

00:23:18.640 of Islamic extremism,

00:23:21.060 in an elaborate ceremony

00:23:23.100 in Riyadh

00:23:25.940 when he was the director.

00:23:28.160 Brennan, of course,

00:23:28.800 got caught red-handed

00:23:30.100 spying on

00:23:31.160 a U.S. Senate committee

00:23:33.280 that was investigating

00:23:34.860 his illegal use

00:23:37.120 of torture.

00:23:39.160 There's a great new book out,

00:23:40.820 by the way,

00:23:41.220 called High Stakes Treason

00:23:42.680 by my friend

00:23:43.780 Eaton Trottier.

00:23:45.480 High Stakes Treason.

00:23:46.780 You've got to check this out.

00:23:47.760 It's really how

00:23:48.740 John Brennan

00:23:49.740 comprised American security

00:23:51.460 and made millions of dollars

00:23:53.260 while doing it.

00:23:54.120 So it's not just treasonous.

00:23:56.040 He has also lined

00:23:57.460 his pockets.

00:23:58.800 John Brennan

00:23:59.800 is the chief orchestrator

00:24:01.540 of the Russian collusion hoax.

00:24:03.980 It was really John Brennan

00:24:05.060 who knew that the so-called

00:24:07.880 Steele dossier,

00:24:09.800 this is the famous report

00:24:12.020 commissioned and paid for

00:24:13.540 illegally by Hillary Clinton's campaign,

00:24:16.760 the payments for it

00:24:18.200 to Fusion GPS,

00:24:20.200 who compiled it,

00:24:21.240 and Christopher Steele,

00:24:22.420 the former British intelligence agents,

00:24:25.660 who put this collection of lies,

00:24:27.800 lies,

00:24:28.480 and hearsay together.

00:24:30.780 He knew that this

00:24:32.360 had faulty origins.

00:24:37.540 He knew that it could not be relied on

00:24:39.340 as factual.

00:24:42.060 Andrew Weissman,

00:24:43.320 who was the de facto head

00:24:44.860 of the Mueller investigation,

00:24:46.480 the man who orchestrated

00:24:47.420 my indictment and my arrest,

00:24:49.300 he knew during his time

00:24:51.880 as the special counsel,

00:24:54.200 general counsel of the FBI,

00:24:55.420 that the Steele dossier was a fraud.

00:24:58.420 Yet, we now know

00:25:00.060 that the FBI director,

00:25:02.280 James Comey,

00:25:03.120 the CIA director,

00:25:04.760 John Brennan,

00:25:05.480 and Robert Mueller,

00:25:07.520 all relied on that

00:25:08.920 as the rationale

00:25:10.380 for their FISA warrants

00:25:12.180 to spy on President Donald Trump's campaign,

00:25:14.720 which they did,

00:25:16.100 and to begin this entire narrative.

00:25:18.600 It was actually called

00:25:19.800 the Hillary Clinton plan,

00:25:22.620 and it is born

00:25:25.340 in an Oval Office meeting

00:25:28.040 with Barack Obama

00:25:29.280 in the chair.

00:25:31.120 Joe Biden is there

00:25:32.360 helpfully suggesting

00:25:33.320 that maybe

00:25:34.240 they could charge

00:25:35.780 General Flynn

00:25:36.900 with violation

00:25:37.640 of the Logan Act,

00:25:39.300 which is absurd

00:25:40.700 because the Logan Act

00:25:42.080 is a law

00:25:42.760 that prohibits you

00:25:44.260 from having your own

00:25:45.020 personal foreign policy.

00:25:46.380 You can't go out

00:25:46.880 and negotiate

00:25:47.960 against the interests

00:25:49.380 of your own country.

00:25:50.200 John Kerry,

00:25:51.760 the former senator,

00:25:53.420 is guilty

00:25:54.040 of violating

00:25:54.660 the Logan Act.

00:25:55.560 Once Donald Trump

00:25:57.080 ended the Iran weapons deal,

00:26:00.280 he immediately flew to Iran

00:26:01.760 to assure them

00:26:02.600 that Kamala Harris

00:26:04.020 and Joe Biden

00:26:04.800 would restore that deal.

00:26:07.380 That is a textbook violation

00:26:10.080 of the Logan Act.

00:26:10.960 Of course,

00:26:11.680 John Kerry

00:26:12.260 has not been prosecuted.

00:26:14.600 It always kind of

00:26:15.080 reminded me of Lurch.

00:26:16.920 I think he was

00:26:17.600 one of the worst

00:26:18.640 presidential candidates

00:26:19.780 in history.

00:26:22.640 But one of the things

00:26:23.920 that I will be praying for

00:26:25.100 at Mass tonight

00:26:27.640 and next Sunday

00:26:30.160 is for justice

00:26:31.220 and accountability.

00:26:32.480 It's not revenge

00:26:33.180 and retaliation.

00:26:34.140 That is the battle cry.

00:26:36.000 Oh, look,

00:26:36.600 Trump has weaponized

00:26:37.800 the criminal justice system.

00:26:39.720 These people have,

00:26:40.940 either they have

00:26:41.560 no self-awareness

00:26:42.740 or they're so full of it

00:26:44.560 their eyes are brown.

00:26:46.180 It's extraordinary

00:26:47.200 to watch,

00:26:48.220 but as my good friend

00:26:49.440 Sean Hannity says,

00:26:50.520 journalism in America

00:26:51.700 is dead.

00:26:53.240 And he hit that 0.90

00:26:54.320 on the nose.

00:26:56.200 It's during this period

00:26:57.840 that I love to reflect

00:26:59.240 on the example

00:27:00.680 of Jesus Christ.

00:27:01.560 He shows us

00:27:02.080 that God doesn't show up

00:27:03.440 in the modern world

00:27:04.320 because the modern world

00:27:06.060 expects him to.

00:27:06.780 Our salvation

00:27:07.360 doesn't arrive

00:27:08.080 through institutions

00:27:09.400 or bureaucracy

00:27:10.400 or elitist plans.

00:27:11.480 Our salvation

00:27:11.960 comes through a family,

00:27:13.940 a mother,

00:27:14.420 a father,

00:27:15.880 a child

00:27:16.920 laid not in a palace

00:27:18.300 but a modest means

00:27:19.360 in a manger.

00:27:20.360 The creator

00:27:20.840 of all things

00:27:21.580 chose humility

00:27:22.440 over dominance,

00:27:23.660 truth over spectacle,

00:27:24.920 love over coercion.

00:27:26.540 Everything our culture

00:27:27.520 tells us

00:27:28.220 strength is found

00:27:30.220 in control

00:27:30.820 and power

00:27:31.360 and tearing down

00:27:32.500 what became.

00:27:33.640 They got to a point

00:27:34.760 where one could

00:27:35.620 no longer say

00:27:36.660 Merry Christmas.

00:27:38.420 It was politically

00:27:39.440 incorrect to say

00:27:40.720 Merry Christmas.

00:27:41.900 Donald Trump

00:27:42.340 has changed

00:27:43.480 all of that.

00:27:44.320 We were back

00:27:44.800 to wishing people

00:27:45.860 Merry Christmas.

00:27:47.580 That is in itself

00:27:48.900 a huge assault

00:27:52.700 on the politically

00:27:53.700 correct

00:27:54.220 and those who would

00:27:55.060 literally erase

00:27:57.280 our culture,

00:27:58.140 erase our history,

00:28:00.140 erase our Judeo-Christian 0.96

00:28:01.820 values,

00:28:02.700 and erase

00:28:03.340 our U.S. Constitution.

00:28:07.340 We're not hackable animals

00:28:09.020 like they think

00:28:09.620 over at the

00:28:10.080 World Economic Forum

00:28:11.280 where we were made

00:28:12.500 in the image of God

00:28:13.760 and all of America's,

00:28:16.600 all of God's creatures

00:28:18.060 I should say,

00:28:18.720 on this earth

00:28:19.400 are capable of salvation

00:28:21.620 and worth saving.

00:28:23.500 So it's Christmas Eve.

00:28:24.700 The darkness is real,

00:28:26.720 but so is of a light.

00:28:28.760 And I tend to be an optimist.

00:28:30.600 I went to the

00:28:31.440 Turning Point USA

00:28:33.280 America Fest

00:28:34.720 Fest 2025

00:28:36.840 in Phoenix,

00:28:39.100 and it was really heartening

00:28:41.260 to see

00:28:42.120 30,000

00:28:43.360 pro-Constitution,

00:28:46.360 pro-freedom,

00:28:47.880 pro-free speech,

00:28:49.640 pro-U.S. Constitution,

00:28:51.480 as I say,

00:28:52.640 pro-God

00:28:54.200 young people

00:28:55.280 who were very,

00:28:57.140 very,

00:28:57.560 very engaged.

00:29:00.000 And I met

00:29:01.800 a lot of them.

00:29:02.580 I posed for a lot of

00:29:03.700 selfies,

00:29:04.460 which I always do.

00:29:07.420 You know,

00:29:07.620 I was going through,

00:29:10.500 I guess it was

00:29:11.080 National Airport then

00:29:12.220 with President Richard Nixon.

00:29:13.760 I was working for him

00:29:14.580 in his post-presidential years.

00:29:16.500 He had been in Washington

00:29:17.940 for a series of meetings.

00:29:20.300 He would take a suite

00:29:21.480 at One Washington Circle,

00:29:23.200 which is a very

00:29:23.840 low visibility,

00:29:27.300 but very nice hotel.

00:29:28.200 He would take a suite

00:29:29.220 and congressmen

00:29:30.500 and senators

00:29:31.040 and other cabinet members,

00:29:33.160 both Republicans

00:29:33.840 and Democrats,

00:29:34.680 would come in

00:29:35.220 for talks

00:29:36.260 with the old man.

00:29:38.060 Tony Quelo,

00:29:39.020 who was a Democrat leader

00:29:40.620 from Northern California,

00:29:41.740 a very powerful

00:29:42.300 House Democrat

00:29:43.020 among those

00:29:44.160 who came by

00:29:44.800 for foreign policy advice.

00:29:47.580 Senator Bob Dole,

00:29:49.380 Senator Howard Baker,

00:29:51.340 but many in the administration

00:29:54.180 would quietly come by.

00:29:56.520 So Nixon and I

00:29:57.480 were leaving,

00:29:58.200 to fly back to New York.

00:30:00.220 I was carrying his briefcase

00:30:01.400 through National Airport

00:30:04.660 and these are the days

00:30:06.700 before you had TSA.

00:30:08.100 So it was the old

00:30:09.100 Eastern Shuttle.

00:30:10.100 You just walked up

00:30:11.020 and you bought your ticket

00:30:12.320 right there.

00:30:13.500 If a plane was full,

00:30:14.880 they theoretically rolled out

00:30:16.200 yet another plane.

00:30:17.160 They flew on the hour.

00:30:19.240 Eastern Airlines

00:30:19.900 would later be bought

00:30:20.920 by Donald Trump

00:30:21.580 and become Trump Airlines

00:30:22.840 and it made him

00:30:24.200 quite a pretty penny

00:30:25.240 before he ultimately

00:30:26.240 sold it.

00:30:26.920 Anyway,

00:30:27.640 a very large woman

00:30:28.740 stepped up to us

00:30:29.640 and said,

00:30:30.420 oh, Mr. Nixon,

00:30:31.900 you are my favorite president.

00:30:33.560 I love you.

00:30:34.300 Can I get your autograph?

00:30:36.040 And they were calling

00:30:36.920 our plane.

00:30:37.660 I'm starting to sweat

00:30:38.840 because I know

00:30:39.420 we're late for the gate

00:30:40.420 and we're supposed

00:30:41.720 to be boarding,

00:30:42.340 but Nixon orders me

00:30:43.460 to put down

00:30:44.240 his briefcase

00:30:46.160 and he has an engaging

00:30:47.540 conversation with this woman.

00:30:49.540 He asks her where she's from.

00:30:50.880 She says she's from Iowa

00:30:53.820 and she mentions

00:30:59.140 that she's from Davenport

00:31:00.380 and Nixon says,

00:31:03.140 oh, Davenport, Iowa.

00:31:04.080 I was there in 1956.

00:31:05.660 I was running

00:31:06.560 for vice president.

00:31:08.400 I think that was

00:31:08.840 the last time

00:31:09.320 I was in Davenport.

00:31:10.140 I spoke at a rally

00:31:15.260 at, this is euphemistic,

00:31:17.160 but Jackson's Restaurant

00:31:18.280 on Main Street.

00:31:19.240 I think you were there.

00:31:20.520 She says,

00:31:20.980 I was there.

00:31:21.760 I was in the front row.

00:31:23.800 And of course Nixon said,

00:31:24.560 I knew I recognized you.

00:31:26.700 And of course,

00:31:27.460 I'm really beginning to sweat

00:31:28.620 because I think

00:31:29.020 we're going to miss our flight.

00:31:30.620 Anyway,

00:31:30.880 he signs her a florid autograph

00:31:33.880 and we run to make the plane,

00:31:36.640 making it by seconds.

00:31:37.600 And I said,

00:31:37.980 Mr. President,

00:31:38.480 why did you stop

00:31:39.940 and talk to that woman 1.00

00:31:43.280 when we almost missed

00:31:45.220 this flight?

00:31:45.840 And he said,

00:31:46.400 never, ever turn down

00:31:48.820 a request for an autograph

00:31:50.400 because if you do,

00:31:52.340 when they go back

00:31:53.400 to Pocatello,

00:31:54.980 they tell all

00:31:56.320 of their friends,

00:31:57.140 boy, I met that

00:31:58.000 Richard Nixon

00:31:58.940 and he is really 0.95

00:32:00.000 one big a-hole. 0.77

00:32:02.360 So I've always taken

00:32:03.540 that to heart

00:32:05.140 when people ask me

00:32:06.560 for an autograph

00:32:07.520 or a selfie

00:32:08.680 and it happens

00:32:10.880 almost every day.

00:32:11.860 I have as many detractors,

00:32:13.200 of course,

00:32:13.580 who want to call me names,

00:32:15.760 but you kind of get used to that,

00:32:18.340 goes with the territory,

00:32:20.760 often have to travel

00:32:22.020 with paid security,

00:32:23.500 which is unfortunate,

00:32:24.420 but the left

00:32:25.540 has become increasingly

00:32:27.020 unhinged in this country.

00:32:30.480 And there are elements,

00:32:32.180 as we can see,

00:32:33.140 Antifa, BLM,

00:32:34.360 many of them funded

00:32:35.160 by our own tax dollars,

00:32:36.400 as it turns out,

00:32:37.600 who are preparing

00:32:38.700 to promulgate for violence.

00:32:41.160 Like General Flynn,

00:32:42.260 I'm very concerned

00:32:43.140 when six former

00:32:44.660 intelligence assets

00:32:45.800 who happen to also

00:32:46.600 be veterans

00:32:47.300 begin telling our

00:32:49.100 men and women

00:32:50.020 in uniform

00:32:51.340 serving in the military

00:32:52.860 that they should not

00:32:53.940 and don't have to

00:32:54.800 obey orders

00:32:55.940 from the commander-in-chief.

00:32:57.120 That is treasonous,

00:32:59.020 in my opinion,

00:33:00.000 but is an effort

00:33:01.060 to remove

00:33:01.820 civilian control

00:33:03.220 from our government.

00:33:05.600 It's not coincidental

00:33:07.120 that the senator

00:33:10.480 here suggests

00:33:11.800 that a National Guardsman

00:33:13.080 will be shot.

00:33:14.020 Senator Slotkin 0.96

00:33:15.260 from Michigan

00:33:15.940 predicts

00:33:17.000 that a National Guardsman 0.99

00:33:18.240 will be shot and killed. 0.71

00:33:20.040 And then two weeks later, 0.99

00:33:21.320 quite sadly,

00:33:22.260 that exact thing happens

00:33:23.560 in D.C.,

00:33:24.540 where once again,

00:33:25.680 crime rates continue

00:33:26.740 to go down

00:33:27.720 as the president

00:33:29.560 has deployed

00:33:32.560 the National Guard.

00:33:34.300 It remains to be seen

00:33:35.460 now we have

00:33:36.020 a new decision

00:33:36.920 by a federal judge

00:33:38.080 saying that

00:33:38.940 the president's decision

00:33:40.000 to deploy

00:33:40.560 the National Guard

00:33:41.380 in Chicago

00:33:41.940 is illegal.

00:33:44.080 This is,

00:33:44.900 once again,

00:33:45.660 liberal,

00:33:46.760 authoritarian judges

00:33:49.020 overreaching

00:33:50.020 their authority

00:33:50.800 to retard 0.99

00:33:52.460 the efforts

00:33:53.800 by the executive branch

00:33:55.080 to fulfill

00:33:55.600 their responsibilities.

00:33:57.420 This court ruling,

00:33:58.360 this is a Supreme Court ruling,

00:33:59.720 which I believe

00:34:00.420 is technically wrong.

00:34:02.840 Liberals complain constantly

00:34:04.000 the court's too conservative.

00:34:05.680 I think the court,

00:34:06.880 on many occasions,

00:34:08.060 is too liberal.

00:34:10.920 In the meantime,

00:34:12.700 over at Politico,

00:34:14.500 which, by the way,

00:34:15.160 is not a news organization

00:34:17.120 or a journalistic operation,

00:34:19.720 it's essentially

00:34:20.280 talking heads

00:34:22.000 and a mouthpiece

00:34:22.760 for the radical left

00:34:23.860 and the Democrats,

00:34:24.960 they've got their knickers

00:34:26.240 in a twist

00:34:26.840 because they say

00:34:27.660 that conservatives

00:34:28.780 are taking over Christmas.

00:34:31.560 We'll find out more

00:34:32.280 about that

00:34:32.780 on the other side.

00:34:33.640 You're listening to

00:34:34.080 The Stone Zone.

00:34:34.700 I'm Roger Stone.

00:34:36.280 Please,

00:34:36.800 don't go away.

00:34:41.520 The Stone Zone.

00:34:43.560 Entertaining and informative

00:34:45.360 on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:34:48.580 Welcome back

00:34:49.720 to The Stone Zone.

00:34:51.180 I'm Roger Stone

00:34:52.280 on this Christmas Eve.

00:34:53.820 Christmas is rapidly emerging

00:34:56.080 as the new front line

00:34:57.280 in Europe's culture wars

00:34:58.800 as conservative

00:35:00.200 and nationalist parties

00:35:01.360 push back against

00:35:02.320 what they see

00:35:03.100 as decades

00:35:04.060 of secular erasure 0.85

00:35:05.480 and cultural surrender.

00:35:07.640 This has made

00:35:08.440 the fake news media merchants

00:35:09.900 over at Politico

00:35:11.140 very nervous

00:35:12.020 as they've accused

00:35:13.420 the far right

00:35:14.580 of stealing Christmas.

00:35:16.440 Across Europe,

00:35:17.360 Christmas is being reclaimed

00:35:18.620 not merely

00:35:19.220 as a religious observance

00:35:20.920 but as a symbol

00:35:21.860 of Western heritage,

00:35:23.460 national identity

00:35:24.180 and continuity,

00:35:25.540 values that many voters

00:35:26.840 believe are under

00:35:27.740 sustained attack

00:35:28.600 both in Europe

00:35:29.320 and in this country.

00:35:30.940 This debate,

00:35:31.620 my opinion,

00:35:32.120 mirrors the arguments

00:35:33.120 long familiar to America.

00:35:34.580 President Trump

00:35:35.280 famously declared

00:35:36.800 that he had brought back

00:35:38.040 saying Merry Christmas

00:35:39.020 which of course

00:35:39.660 he did

00:35:40.520 as it was being replaced

00:35:42.460 by the soulless,

00:35:44.800 sanitized,

00:35:45.900 politically correct term

00:35:47.220 Happy Holidays.

00:35:49.220 That same instinct

00:35:50.180 is now taking root

00:35:51.260 in Europe

00:35:51.640 where parties

00:35:52.300 once focused

00:35:53.120 narrowly on immigration

00:35:54.740 or crime

00:35:55.340 are increasingly beginning

00:35:56.880 to defend

00:35:57.540 Christian traditions

00:35:58.500 as markers

00:35:59.700 of civilization.

00:36:00.520 they have to cheat

00:36:02.620 to stop a conservative

00:36:04.340 from being elected

00:36:05.720 in France.

00:36:07.000 They have to use

00:36:08.080 a combination

00:36:08.620 of lawfare

00:36:09.500 and cheating.

00:36:11.300 Italy has

00:36:12.340 a pro-nationalist

00:36:14.680 prime minister

00:36:15.860 Georgia Maloney

00:36:17.800 who has unapologetically

00:36:19.940 defended

00:36:20.500 nativity scenes

00:36:21.440 at crucifixes

00:36:22.260 in schools,

00:36:23.360 Christmas language

00:36:24.080 and public life

00:36:25.280 and asked

00:36:26.560 how can my culture

00:36:27.940 offend you.

00:36:29.420 You have strong

00:36:31.280 pro-Christian 0.80

00:36:32.480 governments

00:36:33.880 in Hungary

00:36:34.600 in Romania

00:36:35.420 in Poland

00:36:37.060 but it's absolutely

00:36:39.260 clear that

00:36:39.900 in both France

00:36:40.800 and Germany

00:36:41.880 free speech

00:36:43.020 including

00:36:44.220 saying great things

00:36:45.980 about the tradition

00:36:47.380 of Christmas

00:36:47.980 are under attack.

00:36:51.320 It's interesting

00:36:52.260 in Italy

00:36:52.820 the president's

00:36:54.020 part of the

00:36:54.500 Brothers of Italy

00:36:55.040 has turned that message

00:36:56.140 into a spectacle

00:36:57.560 with a massive

00:36:58.420 Christmas festival

00:36:59.360 outside of Rome's

00:37:00.900 Castel San Angelo

00:37:02.760 complete with

00:37:03.980 Santa skating

00:37:05.020 patriotic symbolism.

00:37:06.860 Similar battles

00:37:07.640 over Christmas

00:37:08.500 are unfolding

00:37:09.200 everywhere.

00:37:09.700 France's

00:37:10.180 national rally

00:37:11.420 Spain's

00:37:12.760 Vox

00:37:13.300 and Germany's

00:37:14.120 alternative for Germany

00:37:15.320 have all criticized

00:37:16.620 the efforts

00:37:17.340 to replace

00:37:17.960 this Christian

00:37:19.140 and Christmas

00:37:19.920 imagery

00:37:20.540 with some kind

00:37:22.140 of vague

00:37:22.700 holiday season

00:37:24.420 language.

00:37:26.160 We have to remember

00:37:27.240 that Christianity 0.95

00:37:27.800 functions as a culture.

00:37:30.120 It's a shared

00:37:31.460 inheritance

00:37:32.120 defining

00:37:32.660 who we are

00:37:34.080 as a nation

00:37:34.760 and where

00:37:35.680 we came from.

00:37:37.140 After left-wing

00:37:38.320 discomfort

00:37:38.900 with religion

00:37:39.760 and public life

00:37:40.660 voters in Europe

00:37:42.220 and the United States

00:37:43.460 are responding

00:37:44.180 to leaders

00:37:44.860 willing to stand up

00:37:46.340 and defend

00:37:47.040 our cultural

00:37:48.000 traditions

00:37:48.600 without apology.

00:37:50.580 The nations

00:37:51.100 of Europe

00:37:51.840 are Christian

00:37:53.500 nations

00:37:53.960 at their very

00:37:54.640 core

00:37:55.060 as is America.

00:37:57.000 This is the

00:37:57.540 common heritage

00:37:58.620 I believe

00:37:59.340 we must all

00:38:00.660 defend

00:38:01.260 particularly

00:38:01.740 at this

00:38:02.380 time of year.

00:38:04.300 Meanwhile

00:38:04.740 abortion clinic

00:38:05.860 workers across

00:38:06.540 the country

00:38:06.940 once again

00:38:07.460 receiving an

00:38:08.120 unexpected

00:38:08.740 Christmas message

00:38:10.020 I love this

00:38:10.720 not a

00:38:11.560 message of

00:38:12.880 protest

00:38:13.200 but a message

00:38:14.120 of prayer

00:38:14.720 compassion

00:38:15.600 and an open

00:38:16.820 door to

00:38:17.540 a different

00:38:18.160 life

00:38:18.540 this holiday

00:38:19.080 season

00:38:19.660 religious

00:38:20.560 sisters

00:38:21.060 from across

00:38:21.700 the Catholic

00:38:22.200 Church

00:38:22.540 have partnered

00:38:23.600 with

00:38:24.260 and then

00:38:25.020 there were

00:38:25.600 none

00:38:26.000 a pro-life

00:38:26.780 organization

00:38:27.440 that helps

00:38:28.460 abortion clinic

00:38:29.480 employees

00:38:30.040 leave that

00:38:30.800 industry

00:38:31.240 and transition

00:38:32.420 into life

00:38:33.440 affirming

00:38:34.160 careers.

00:38:35.640 Look I was

00:38:36.520 once a pro-choice

00:38:38.060 or I should say

00:38:38.920 pro-legal abortion

00:38:40.320 because as a

00:38:41.380 libertarian I

00:38:42.120 thought the

00:38:42.520 government should

00:38:43.140 not impose

00:38:44.140 that decision

00:38:44.840 on the

00:38:45.260 individual woman

00:38:46.400 but with

00:38:47.360 the birth

00:38:47.900 of my

00:38:48.360 first

00:38:48.820 great

00:38:49.340 god

00:38:49.860 son

00:38:50.240 grandson

00:38:50.700 pardon me

00:38:51.200 my first

00:38:51.600 great

00:38:51.820 grandson

00:38:52.720 I have

00:38:54.360 changed my

00:38:55.080 views and I

00:38:55.660 now consider

00:38:56.240 myself to be

00:38:57.100 strongly pro-life

00:38:59.000 although like

00:38:59.580 Ronald Reagan

00:39:00.180 and Donald Trump

00:39:01.400 I do accept the

00:39:02.380 exceptions for

00:39:03.820 rape and incest

00:39:05.100 it's an issue

00:39:06.300 that I have

00:39:07.040 struggled with

00:39:07.740 I respect the

00:39:08.440 views of those

00:39:09.120 who disagree

00:39:10.400 with me

00:39:10.940 but I've had

00:39:11.460 my own

00:39:11.900 odyssey on

00:39:12.780 this issue

00:39:13.780 and I salute

00:39:15.960 the fact that

00:39:17.020 the new Pope

00:39:17.740 although I think

00:39:18.720 he's wrong about

00:39:19.460 a lot of things

00:39:20.160 has remained

00:39:20.780 stoutly pro-life

00:39:22.400 something that I

00:39:24.200 as a restored

00:39:26.600 Catholic can

00:39:27.580 now appreciate

00:39:29.060 it is in that

00:39:31.720 keeping that

00:39:32.700 I'm excited about

00:39:34.060 seeing my entire

00:39:35.000 family for this

00:39:36.140 great Christmas

00:39:37.160 gathering

00:39:37.860 and I want to

00:39:38.980 wish you and

00:39:39.900 your family

00:39:40.720 and your

00:39:41.620 loved ones

00:39:42.220 and your

00:39:42.760 circle

00:39:43.180 the very

00:39:44.600 very best

00:39:45.500 for the

00:39:47.100 Christmas

00:39:47.460 Buno Natal

00:39:48.800 tutti

00:39:49.340 as we say

00:39:50.340 in my family

00:39:50.980 God bless you

00:39:51.980 until we meet

00:39:52.760 again

00:40:33.140 everyone's asking

00:40:34.220 is are we in

00:40:37.420 you've been

00:40:39.360 what do

00:40:40.340 no hype

00:40:47.980 in the 90s

00:40:48.600 where are we
