On this episode of The Stone Zone, host Roger Stone is joined by Mark Caputo and Sean Stone to discuss the latest developments in the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. trial, including President Trump's response to an unconstitutional gag order that prevents him from speaking publicly about the case. Also, Stone and Stone discuss the possibility that Special Counsel Jack Smith could get to a trial before the mid-term elections, and whether or not he will be able to get to the stand before November 5th, 2020, which is the most important election in the history of the United States. Roger Stone has served as a senior campaign aide to three Republican presidents. He is a New York Times bestselling author and a longtime friend and advisor of President Donald Trump. As an outspoken libertarian, Stone has appeared on thousands of broadcasts, spoken at countless venues, and lectured before the prestigious Oxford Political Union and the Cambridge Union Society. Due to his four-plus decades in the political and cultural arena, Stone is a pop culture icon. And now, here's your host, Roger Stone: co-host Troy Smith, the editor-in-chief of Slingshot News, joins the show to help break down the latest in the latest breaking news in the Kennedy case. 00:03:24.300This whole trial, in quotes, trial, is rigged.
00:03:28.640And by taking away my freedom of speech, this highly conflicted judge is rigging the presidential election of 2024, just like here we go again, 2020.
00:03:38.600This is a different form of rigging, but they're doing it with prosecutors and judges.
00:05:22.380Their efforts to try him in Georgia appear to be to be hopelessly stalled.
00:05:29.240Even Fonnie Wills has conceded that the election, that the prosecution would have to come sometime after the election.
00:05:36.780Because of the U.S. Supreme Court pondering the issue of immunity, giving Trump his due process rights, lawyers tell me questionable whether Special Counsel Jack Smith can get to a trial in D.C.
00:05:56.280Before the election, I'm told it is unlikely, although these folks would try him in October.
00:06:01.900However, Jay Bratt, who's with the Special Counsel's Office, recently argued in Florida that prosecuting Trump, who will be the Republican nominee a month before the election, would not necessarily violate the longstanding DOJ policy of criminal prosecutions that interfere with an election, a candidate or an elected official.
00:06:58.700Everything reported about it was negative.
00:06:59.840There are many aspects of my trial the media missed entirely or failed to report on.
00:07:06.860The fact that the judge would never allow me to use expert testimony and forensic evidence to prove that there had never been any online hack of the DNC at all was not widely reported on.
00:07:23.180One, the fact that the government refused to give us the unredacted section of the CrowdStrikes Agreement, in fact, we couldn't have any of it, wouldn't give it to my defense lawyers, was not reported.
00:07:39.480The fact that the judge ruled that I couldn't use any evidence of corruption by the special counsel's office, the FBI, the Department of Justice, or any member of Congress in my defense was not widely reported.
00:07:53.580And I think they gagged my family because they could, completely unconstitutional.
00:07:59.920None of them are charged with any crime, but they were not allowed to defend me in any medium either, which is the appeals court did void that portion of the gag order before insisting that the gag order should stay on me because procedurally I hadn't asked the judge who put the gag order on me to first remove it, which of course she never would have done.
00:08:24.300It took them nine months to come up with that stalling action. The constitutionality of the gag order on me, like the constitutionality of the gag order on Trump today, has not been ruled on.
00:08:35.520It's been challenged, but no court's been willing to face the issue. It's clearly unconstitutional.
00:08:40.720I think it's pretty clear, Roger. And I think also, you know, it's interesting for me, just as somebody watching this unfold, to see President Trump taking on all these trials.
00:08:51.040He's taking on the Department of Justice, who really are trying to stop his political campaign.
00:08:56.020And yet he also is trying to fend off tax from the Democrats and now Robert F. Kennedy as an independent candidate in the 2024 election.
00:09:03.660Trump released a video yesterday in which he discussed Robert F. Kennedy's independent candidacy and really took on RFK.
00:09:13.660RFK Jr. is a Democrat plant, a radical left liberal who's been put in place in order to help crooked Joe Biden, the worst president in the history of the United States, get reelected.
00:09:26.040A lot of people think that Jr. is a conservative. He's not. He's more liberal than anybody running on the Democrat side.
00:09:33.100A vote for Jr. would essentially be a wasted protest vote that could swing either way, but would only swing against the Democrats if Republicans knew the true story about him.
00:09:44.760Jr. is totally anti-gun and extreme environmentalist who makes the Green News scammers look very conservative by comparison.
00:09:52.600A big-time taxer, he wants to tax you. An open-border advocate. He wants those borders to be wide open for more people to come in from prisons and mental institutions.
00:10:04.020And he's anti-military and he's anti-vet. He's an extreme liberal. He's radical left. And radicalized also are his family.
00:10:14.180They'll never allow him to be a Republican. They've said that. We will not let him be a Republican.
00:10:19.100And his chief funder is the VP candidate that nobody ever heard of, except her ex-husband, who's been stripped of a big chunk of his cash.
00:10:28.420And he knows exactly what she's all about. She's even more liberal than RFK Jr.
00:10:34.000She puts herself down as a businesswoman or maybe a doctor. And actually, she probably is, because she did a hell of a big number on the husband.
00:10:41.800That's her business. I guess you could say that she's right, however, because what she's done is given a lot of money to the Democrat causes and the ultra-liberal causes.
00:10:53.260She's going to be a big hindrance, because when people saw that she was selected, they realized that Jr. was indeed a radical left.
00:11:00.140She's more liberal than Jr. by far, not a serious person, and only a pot of cash to help her get her no-chance candidate on the ballot is what got her there in the first place.
00:11:11.420I lived with RFK Jr. in New York and watched him convince Governor Cuomo to make environmental moves that were outright nasty and really bad for the state.
00:11:22.260We have the highest energy costs anywhere in the country, and that's because of RFK Jr. He was a disaster.
00:11:29.960Upstate New York was not allowed to drill or frack as Ohio, Pennsylvania, and others ripped off New York energy.
00:11:37.160Because of this, prices have skyrocketed all over that part of the country, and frankly, it's affected New England.
00:11:45.040It's affected everybody. But all of this was the policy of RFK Jr. He doesn't want any drilling whatsoever.
00:11:51.720He doesn't want anything. He wants everything to come to a halt, and you'd find that out.
00:11:56.720But the fact is, he is a radical left person.
00:12:00.180So, Republicans, get it out of your mind that you're going to vote for this guy because he's conservative. He's not.
00:12:07.160And by the way, he said the other night that vaccines are fine. He said it on a show, a television show, that vaccines are fine. He's all for them.
00:12:16.960And that's what he said. And for those of you that want to vote because you think he's an anti-vaxxer, he's not really an anti-vaxxer.
00:12:26.640He said it the other night. He's okay with the vaccine.
00:12:30.100Their energy costs are the highest in the United States, in New York State and New England, because of this guy, with the exception of California and Gavin Newsom, who's the worst governor in the state's history and one of the worst governors in the history of our country.
00:12:46.480I'd even take Biden over, Junior, because our country would last about a year or two longer than it would with Junior.
00:12:53.860It would collapse almost immediately, and his family, a radical left, a crazy left, a bunch of lunatics, would take over, and our country will die very quickly.
00:13:04.880So RFK's views on vaccines are fake, as is everything else about his candidacy.
00:13:11.240He is not a Republican, so don't think you're going to vote for him and feel good.
00:13:15.180He's a radical left Democrat. Let the Democrats have RFK, Junior. They deserve him.
00:13:24.660Wow, that was quite a diatribe. We're going to go right to a commercial break so I can digest that.
00:13:34.880A lot of people are having great success with a weight management program with Bellatrim, but it's just a tool.
00:13:44.180In terms of ingredients, Chromex or chromium picolini improves the actions of insulin, so you have better glucose management.
00:13:52.220And in addition, it promotes fatty utilization.
00:13:55.540Fat utilization or fat burning is also a feature of metabolite, which are two botanicals that stimulate a switch called AMP kinase.
00:14:05.240And so you tend to burn fat, reduce belly fat or visceral fat.
00:15:49.180If you're just tuning in, yes, it's Friday and we're here in the Stone Zone.
00:15:54.380I'm here with my co-host, Troy Smythe, as I sometimes jokingly call him, the editor-in-chief of Slingshot.news.
00:16:03.880Troy and I are breaking down the political events of the week.
00:16:08.200We've talked a little bit about the trial.
00:16:11.220We were beginning a discussion of RFK.
00:16:14.260Clearly, you have seen in that long diatribe by President Trump and also some of his true social attacks, he has been highlighting the liberal positions of RFK.
00:16:28.520RFK did, in fact, say in a video that those who didn't agree with his radical climate change agenda should be jailed.
00:16:36.600He only late last week came out for abortion on demand right up until the time of birth, a radical position to say the least.
00:16:49.120And then his position, of course, for reparations, highlighting his support for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
00:17:01.440I think, again, that this is caused by polling that I heard about this morning by the McLaughlin group for the Trump campaign that evidently shows that those who are voting for RFK, when they're asked who they would vote for were he not on the ballot, where he will not be in many states, are going two to one for Trump.
00:17:29.020Therefore, I think you see the strategy here of Trump trying to dissuade people of voting or wasting their vote for RFK.
00:17:41.540Anyway, he's right, of course, about the question about RFK's choice of a running mate rather than some public figure or somebody experienced in politics or somebody with a public following.
00:17:53.460He picks an extremely wealthy woman, but a woman whose personal politics don't seem to mirror his.
00:18:01.860I don't view him, at least on questions like the vaccination, the war in Ukraine.
00:18:09.920By the way, I think Trump is incorrect.
00:18:11.640I think Kennedy may be in favor of closing our border.
00:18:18.900I could be wrong about that and have to do a bit more research, but it is the choice of this running mate really shows you where his real politics are.
00:18:28.960For a guy who basically say, I don't spell it, I won't sell out to special interests like big pharma or the mining interests or whoever, this woman is pumping billions into his campaign and he will be beholden to her agenda.
00:18:44.620She's put huge funding behind the defund the police movement in Southern California.
00:19:50.380So, I still don't know whether he'll get on the ballot in enough states to theoretically win 270 electoral votes.
00:20:01.780Well, Roger, and just before this show, you know, we did some digging into, or I did some digging into the campaign finance, you know, data here.
00:20:10.200Because publicly, you know, this stuff is available.
00:20:12.080And I think it's important for people to understand.
00:20:28.280As well as a donation from Robert F. Kennedy to Barack Obama in 2008.
00:20:34.200Now, Roger, you talked about, briefly there, Barack Obama and Robert F. Kennedy and his support for the former president.
00:20:39.840We actually pulled a video of RFK Jr. campaigning for Barack Obama back in 2008, talking about Obama's energy policies.
00:20:51.520Now, keep in mind for the folks at home, Obama was the guy to really begin the push for green energy policies.
00:20:57.080He really could be described as the godfather of the Green New Deal and the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez climate terrorist wing of the Democratic Party.
00:21:08.660Let's roll a clip of RFK Jr. campaigning for Barack Obama in 2008, the anti-establishment RFK endorsing Obama.
00:21:16.160I came here because I wanted to talk to you about energy policy because Barack Obama has the best energy policy in 10 years.
00:21:24.360And I was going to tell you how he's going to do that and how it can be done.
00:22:13.740I don't think there's anybody, any person in this country that can as quickly and effectively restore the moral authority and the prestige of this country,
00:22:23.480not only in the eyes of our citizens, but the eyes of the whole world.
00:23:07.300But that doesn't change the fact that the fundamental politics on some huge issues surrounding RFK are to the left.
00:23:18.140For example, he is a great fan, was a great fan of the brutal communist dictator of Cuba, Fidel Castro.
00:23:27.820I guarantee you that many in the Miami community, in the Cuban American community, where maybe some younger Cuban Americans are considering RFK, are not aware of the fact that he was a big fan of this brutal murderer and dictator who has oppressed, whose government continues to oppress the Cuban people even today.
00:23:55.600Well, Roger, and speaking to that, we also have a video of RFK Jr. talking about climate change deniers, as he calls them.
00:24:05.500And here is RFK Jr. a few years ago saying that he wishes he could jail climate change deniers.
00:24:12.200Now, he's actually going to work towards this.
00:24:14.020I think it speaks to maybe making America more like Cuba and more like the Cuba that Fidel Castro was able to create.
00:24:25.000I think they should be enjoying three hots and a cot at the Hague with all the other war criminals who are there.
00:24:32.140What about politicians, people who deny, who express septicism?
00:24:35.740I think they're selling out the public trust.
00:24:37.900And, you know, I think those guys who are doing the Koch brothers bidding and who are against all the evidence of the rational mind are saying that global warming doesn't exist,
00:24:48.580that they are contemptible human beings and that, you know, I wish that you could punish them under.
00:24:54.140Yeah, it shows you how very, very far out there he is.
00:25:02.300You can go over to X and you will see hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of bots post this photo of the one and only time I ever met or spoke with Robert Kennedy.
00:25:14.920We were at one conference where we spoke at different times.
00:25:20.980There was really no substantive conversation other than how do you do.
00:25:25.960But you can now read that his entire candidacy was planned by me and my close associate, Steve Bannon, with whom I am not close, to, as you know, to plan his candidacy as some way of siphoning votes from Joe Biden.
00:25:49.780Well, and Roger, they make this claim over and over again, and you've kind of made it clear.
00:25:56.300I mean, you made the statement many times, but I wanted to ask you particularly about a headline that I found.
00:26:01.520First of all, there's a headline that I want to pull up real quickly just to throw this in there because it speaks to who he selected as his running mate.
00:26:08.740And the headcount is about Silicon Valley reactionaries loving RFK Jr.
00:26:13.460And it speaks to this idea, Roger, that the people supporting this really at the top are the same people that kind of funded Obama.
00:26:21.720They're the same people that funded Hillary Clinton.
00:26:23.780And if you look at the donations of Nicole Shanahan, who RFK selected as his running mate, you find that she donated a tremendous amount of money to Joe Biden in 2020 against President Trump.
00:26:35.860We have those donations. I believe it's about $30,000 total that she gave to President Joe Biden.
00:26:42.200And then we also have donations that Shanahan made to one of the most radical members of Congress on the Democrat side, Ro Khanna.
00:26:51.100We actually have a photo of Mr. Khanna and the donations that Nicole Shanahan gave to him.
00:26:56.740Nicole Shanahan also donated to Hillary Clinton in 2016.
00:27:02.620She's also a donor of several other prominent Democrats, Roger.
00:27:07.480So just politically, if you were managing this RFK campaign and you were looking at this as trying to benefit them, Roger, what do you say about the overall strategy?
00:27:18.300Because to me, the support, the people who are funding him and his messaging, none of them align whatsoever.
00:27:29.400Well, look, I think he's gotten a lot of celebrity money.
00:27:32.380He's gotten a lot of high tech celebrity money.
00:27:35.120He's gotten a lot of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin money because he's very tied into that community, very much understands it.
00:27:44.280But I do think in the final analysis that not only do I not think he can win, but I also think it's unlikely that he wins in any state.
00:27:56.260He would have to get a high enough percentage in one state to deny that, to deadlock the, he'd have to win some states to deadlock the Electoral College, in which case the process would then go to the U.S. Congress, actually specifically to the House, where it is one state, one vote.
00:28:18.380So he would determine how the state's vote would be cast based on whether they had a greater number of Republican or Democrat congressmen.
00:28:26.680I think that is his great goal, to try to win enough states to throw this into the House, where he thinks perhaps he can get concessions about public policy.
00:28:35.980But he has to get on the ballot in enough states to do that, and it remains to be seen whether he really can do so.
00:28:43.540I think that's a great analysis, Roger, and I think it's important for people to understand where RFK Jr. is coming from.
00:28:49.360I'm glad we had the opportunity to discuss that here.
00:28:51.640But I also wanted to bring up some things that are going on across the country.
00:28:55.880You know, I'm doing Slingshot News, Roger, and we interview people, of course, from my old stomping grounds there in Maryland.
00:29:01.180In particular today, I wanted to discuss Larry Hogan, because we have, in just four days, the Maryland Republican primary,
00:29:09.540where Larry Hogan will be going up against several candidates that I've been in contact,
00:29:13.300and I've interviewed about Larry Hogan harboring a pedophile in his home.
00:29:18.360Now, for all who don't know, in 1992, Larry Hogan, who was then running for the U.S. House,
00:29:26.300had a man living at his home, a campaign aide named Kevin Lee Hall.
00:29:31.180Well, Kevin Lee Hall was arrested, busted, for kidnapping and raping a 17-year-old boy at gunpoint.
00:29:38.900And then, Roger, when we look at Hogan's career, throughout his career,
00:29:43.120he has consistently appointed some of the most dangerous criminals you could imagine to positions of power.
00:29:50.020A member of his administration, Matthew Palmer, was busted for distribution of child pornography.
00:49:41.300I want to remind you that if you like history and politics and perhaps a good mystery,
00:49:46.900you may want to check out my book, The Man Who Killed Kennedy, The Case Against LBJ.
00:49:53.660In this New York Times bestselling book, I use fingerprint evidence, eyewitness evidence,
00:50:00.560ballistics evidence, and deep Texas politics to make the case that Lyndon Baines Johnson was the man with the most to gain,
00:50:09.100Cui Bono, who benefits, and that he led a plot by the CIA, the elements of organized crime, big Texas oil, the banking interests, and others to remove John F. Kennedy.
00:50:24.860You can get your copy by going to themanwhokilledkennedy.com, themanwhokilledkennedy.com.
00:50:32.520This is the paperback edition that has three additional chapters from the hardcover.
00:50:43.480All right, Troy, let's go back to the politics of the week.
00:50:48.340Well, Roger, it's been a hell of a week here, and we've gotten so much to talk about.
00:50:53.120And I know we focused a lot on Larry Hogan, but we're going to move on here to some of the different things that we've pulled up for the show.
00:51:00.000I think one of the things that people want to know, Roger, is we didn't really get a chance to really break this down because of all the guests we had this week.
00:51:06.880I'd like you to discuss the Trump documents case and that being postponed indefinitely and what you think is going to happen in that case.
00:51:13.920You know, I'm not an attorney, and I should say that at the beginning.
00:51:17.640I very much follow the great reporting of Julie Kelly on X.
00:51:22.260I urge you to subscribe to Julie Kelly's, I think it's sub stack.
00:51:28.760She's a housewife from the Midwest, but she's also clearly quite brilliant.
00:51:37.960On a very timely basis, she analyzes all of the latest documents and filings, highlights the most relevant sections.
00:51:45.000Now, in that case, Judge Cannon has been very aggressive about insisting that the prosecutors operate in public.
00:51:52.620Prosecutor Jack Smith wanted to redact almost everything.
00:51:57.560So, in other words, they would have been trying Donald Trump for the mishandling of documents, but we can't tell you what the documents were about or what was in them and how important they were.
00:52:08.700There is some speculation that the documents in question were the documentation of Crossfire Hurricane, the illegal operation, the illegal counterterrorism operation that was launched to take out a duly elected president.
00:52:22.400In other words, hard evidence of treason.
00:52:25.340Perhaps Trump wanted this for his second term, but that's speculation.
00:52:29.480We still don't know what the documents are.
00:52:32.760Now, it's interesting to me that these most recent filings appear to show that the National Archives, after meetings with the Biden White House, sent a pallet of boxes with documents to Trump that Trump did not request.
00:52:50.440And that once they were certain they were in his possession, and I believe they were moved to where all of his documents were under lock and key, that they then filed a complaint about his illegal possession of these documents.
00:53:09.560And, of course, the entire case is not an alleged violation of the Presidential Records Act of 1997, which Trump and his lawyers argue is the governing law, was the governing law when there were questions about how Bill Clinton handled his documents.
00:53:27.560Judge Amy Berman Jackson, who was the judge in my case, ruled that Bill Clinton could do whatever he wanted with his documents, including keeping them in his sock draw.
00:53:41.000So it is this redaction, I think, and the motions that would come before this trial could ever get to trial this year are vexing.
00:53:53.400The left has launched a vituperous campaign of attack on Judge Eileen Cannon for doing her job.
00:54:31.320The point, of course, is this is not going to get to trial before the election.
00:54:36.140It was one of the three possible criminal trials.
00:54:40.100We still don't know whether the January 6th-related charges against Donald Trump will get to trial.
00:54:48.060Most lawyers think, given the time frame of the Supreme Court with the pending immunity decision, that getting to trial before the election was unlikely.
00:55:02.520I would still not rule it out as impossible.
00:55:05.520First of all, these people are desperate to try to convict Donald Trump of something, anything, something, anything before the next election.
00:55:14.360But it is certainly a blow to those who are manipulating this lawfare campaign.
00:55:25.100And the fact that the chief prosecutor in Manhattan left the number three position at the Biden Justice Department to go work in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office so he can try this case tells you everything that you need to know.
00:55:43.400Joe Biden himself, months ago, Alex Jones and I played this the other day, blurted out months ago when he was asked, aren't you worried about a rematch with Donald Trump?
00:55:53.380And he said, no, the Constitution, we're not going to let him run.
00:55:58.820And that's exactly what they have done.
