00:02:53.120 earlier and um yeah i don't know why i did it but i did it it's just that's the kind of stuff i'm

00:03:04.000 doing i guess and um anyway sorry we are we are good to see you we are here happy september can you

00:03:13.360 you believe it or something wrong as they say in somewhere else um sorry my brain is all over the

00:03:25.280 place uh and that's okay that's all right it's that time you know it's that time of year you know

00:03:31.840 the heat has gotten to people the heat i mean it is it is this is when summer this is that encore

00:03:40.480 when summer's like okay you don't think i'm gonna ball out watch me whip watch me nay nay this is when

00:03:49.600 summer do that thing you know get sturdy i mean it is this is about hot as it can get

00:03:58.080 yeah and with labor day you see people you know people at labor they're trying to do grilling they're

00:04:03.360 trying to grill but man this is the time he the sun say hey don't a grill won't even start up

00:04:10.480 because it can't compete with a sun a microwave won't start up a match won't strike they say nah nah

00:04:19.280 come on man how you expect me to compete with this boss man with this suge knight in the sky up there

00:04:28.720 the sun is just it's like that this is it's weak the rest of the year is weather right but this is

00:04:40.800 that time where it is the sun and and i'll say this you know um white people don't get enough credit for

00:04:49.280 having to deal with the sun white people yeah white people don't get enough credit for having to deal with 0.99

00:04:54.480 the sun man they you know put put a white in the sun put a white in the sun and look what happens to them

00:05:10.240 let's don't pretend like we don't know what happens to a white in the sun 0.99

00:05:16.400 put an irish on a beach my god you better pray for them 1.00

00:05:21.600 let's don't pretend that the sun don't like black people better i look i think the sun is recruiting 0.99

00:05:31.520 black people man it's trying to transition folks it's trying to make more blacks and browns and 0.99

00:05:38.800 semi-browns and off browns this do put a white in the sun for 30 hours and now make him walk down 0.98

00:05:48.720 the interstate he he keep pretty browned up at that point see if somebody don't pull over and give

00:05:53.920 him a nelly cd or cornrow his hair up i'm just saying baby the sun the sun be making it make the sun be

00:06:04.240 making more black people man that's the truth or it's trying to put a swedish person in the sun for 40 hours 1.00

00:06:13.200 and let him apply for a uh home loan okay what's up that's what i'm saying man that's the sun be doing

00:06:24.080 like that and that's just what is this the time of year it is when the sun this is its boss

00:06:29.520 the sun is him right now um

00:06:37.280 yeah we got a lot in this episode man we got a lot we're gonna get into we're talking uh

00:06:44.720 well that you know that reminds me um when i was in school you know and you had to build that

00:06:50.080 solar system baby remember that it was maybe third grade or fourth grade

00:06:55.440 you had to build that solid system which uh like a mo you had to make a mobile with the different

00:07:01.520 planets hanging on it in that and the rich kids they had they came their mom if you had a dad first of 0.99

00:07:09.520 all then if your dad had a job and your mom didn't have to work then your mom had a car with a hatchback 0.88

00:07:17.520 right and the rich kids you know zachary or uh abigail they would come to the school and they had um

00:07:30.480 their their they would their mom would open the hatchback and get their uh 0.73

00:07:34.560 their solar system out and you'd see all the planets on it made out of a little styrofoam ball

00:07:40.800 and everything and oh it's cute it said her name on the side all right abigail

00:07:49.280 now if you was over by us bro if you had to ride the poor bus bro you had to get your first you had 0.99

00:07:54.960 to build your shit bro mom wouldn't help mom you ain't had no hot glue gun you was doing your thing 0.99

00:08:02.640 you had to do it yourself right that's how you had to do it i remember my solar system that 1.00

00:08:07.760 bitch had a uh orange in the middle bro and i put it in the uh microwave for like 30 seconds 1.00

00:08:14.640 to warm it up to give it that that sun mentality you know so i heated that bit put it in the middle 0.95

00:08:22.400 and then i hung whatever i could for the other thing bro i had me a cherry tomato on there i had me a

00:08:29.120 uh part of a mitten uh what else i had a closings pen um i had a butterscotch

00:08:36.240 and what else was on mine maybe a marshmallow and a thing of tweezers that i had found in mom's room

00:08:43.520 and that was my solar system baby and i and you had to get on the bus bro that was the problem

00:08:49.520 and on the bus people some people they didn't have their their theirs made the other children

00:08:56.000 so they had some lurkers on there like daniel you know daniel he he steal four jupiters on the bus

00:09:03.280 bro he'll roll off the bus with a half a pocket full of jupiter's dog and that was his uh presentation

00:09:11.440 and gerald damn i remember oh man we had this one fella in our class gerald bro and he 0.98

00:09:22.080 you know he didn't have a lot of brain in him he wasn't real he wasn't that real that brain dog you 0.91

00:09:27.680 know and he had his solar system had i remember it had earth and alaska that was the two planets bro 0.99

00:09:37.680 that bitch had earth and alaska 1.00

00:09:42.560 and one night i remember we was at a camp out or something and i remember looking up at the sky with 0.99

00:09:47.120 him and he he he we were looking at the moon and he he said hey man you think you think we'll ever land

00:09:55.120 on alaska and i just patted him on the back a little extra you know because sometimes some folk

00:10:04.560 need that extra patent bro and that's what he needed a couple extra pats on the back baby but

00:10:14.080 that's what god's doing man what i'm saying is we all have different universes

00:10:17.840 you know we all got different we all got different universes um welcome to the episode

00:10:25.840 thank you guys for being uh a part of my life um and let me be a part of your life

00:10:33.200 what's going on uh we got a unique episode we have um we're gonna get to some calls we have the gator

00:10:40.640 boys some of them boys they they nabbed that gator over there in mississippi they nabbed one 1.00

00:10:48.720 i mean just one of them big daddies this thing big boy this thing big this thing won't fit in a

00:10:57.680 condom you know what i'm saying this thing's big so they nabbed it and uh we're gonna talk to one of

00:11:03.200 those guys um we had some finance we had a we was a victim of a fraud we're gonna talk about that

00:11:10.000 um and what else can we talk about got a lot of great calls um what else i've been i've been feeling

00:11:19.360 a lot man i've been i've been having a tough i've been feeling like everything's got to be perfect man

00:11:24.480 i've been feeling like you know it's like i come to even just come into podcasts like i feel all right

00:11:31.920 i gotta be every you know everything it's like or just every day every life like man everything is

00:11:37.520 just like i it just it just uh and sometimes it builds up it's like and i don't even notice it's

00:11:43.680 going on um but it yeah but that's not the truth and i just sometimes i let it build up and be the

00:11:53.200 truth or it's just i can't explain it but it starts happening in the background like everything's got to

00:11:58.400 be perfect you know uh so yeah i just want to call that out on myself and just think you know like i can't

00:12:06.560 make thing i can't be perfect i can't make everything perfect um

00:12:17.920 yeah so it just i can't you know uh and nobody's asking me to really it's like it's this

00:12:29.360 it's like this self-fulfilling like or not a self-unfulfilling prophecy

00:12:34.720 you know it's like uh

00:12:39.840 it's a ridiculous pressure it goes back to when i probably associates to when i was

00:12:44.560 young you know um

00:12:48.560 and i felt like if i wasn't perfect then uh i wouldn't be cared about you know um

00:12:58.080 um or the only way i had a chance it was like you know i wasn't getting when i was

00:13:05.760 i don't know i'm not trying to get in all that kind of stuff but it was like what i guess

00:13:13.680 it's like if i was if

00:13:17.440 it was like i guess i felt like if i'm not if i don't the only way i have a chance to get the what i

00:13:23.360 need in the world is if i'm perfect

00:13:28.080 because i wasn't getting what i needed so it was like man if i i guess the only way i can that i even

00:13:33.200 have a chance i must i must have to be perfect to get the care i need you know or maybe if i'm perfect

00:13:41.360 maybe if i'm perfect

00:13:49.040 then i then i will have to be cared about

00:13:53.680 you know because no no somebody couldn't not care about something that's perfect you know

00:14:01.040 um i don't know i'm not saying that i'm perfect or anything i'm just saying that's an old thing

00:14:05.360 that would be in my head man and it's not even a thought that i had or created it was like a survival

00:14:11.200 thing that happened when i was young and um and i could see how a kid could think that you know a

00:14:17.760 kid could think that so uh but yeah sometimes that flares up and i'm like man if i'm not perfect

00:14:28.080 then uh people are people are not gonna like me

00:14:35.040 you know if i'm on if i'm real honest about it um and i know that isn't true i know that's not

00:14:40.800 true of like my friend i like as an as an adult now i know that's not the truth

00:14:47.200 but it still doesn't stop those old feelings from uh

00:14:52.800 they kind of take over the they kind of uh hijack the mainframe sometimes

00:15:01.280 and i get stuck in that space and i don't even realize it you know um

00:15:05.120 um so yeah i just want to share i just want to call that out to myself and

00:15:13.040 and just say yeah man you don't have to be you you are oh you're fine you're okay brother you know and um

00:15:24.240 yeah i just want to call that out to myself because that's important to me

00:15:28.240 uh to notice and i'm grateful now that i can even notice when that happens sometimes so that

00:15:34.400 i'm not just sitting there and just being a victim of it um

00:15:40.880 we have some really nice calls some really nice stuff and uh grateful to be here with you guys um

00:15:50.160 well i got this call that came in right here let's just let's let's hear this daddy real fast

00:15:54.400 let's see what this cat has to say here because i know

00:15:59.600 what's up you little love muffin i just heard your podcast and it's about time

00:16:05.440 coming to north kakalak i live 20 minutes away from winston-salem and i'm so 0.88

00:16:12.640 fucking excited bro gang gang homie gang baby yeah and that's that'll just lead us right into the tour dates 0.77

00:16:20.000 that's what i want to tell you we have some new ones and uh man some really exciting stuff 0.99

00:16:25.600 um yeah we just got back from canada i'm going to talk about that in a second but i want to let you

00:16:30.800 know that uh we have live now norfolk va uh roanoke va and that's where i think um

00:16:41.440 i think that's where the pilgrims started uh huntington west virginia up there up there

00:16:47.840 about a big sandy arena they now call it the mountain health and they used to call it the

00:16:52.560 big sandy evansville indiana uh at the ford center pikeville pikeville kentucky at uh on november 16th

00:17:04.560 and winston-salem uh november 17th and then new orleans louisiana baby november 24th the day after

00:17:14.000 thanksgiving at the uno lakefront arena and uh that's mad for me that's real magical that's the

00:17:20.720 first place i ever um seen like a big concert and uh to get to go there and perform um

00:17:31.440 yeah it means a lot you know and um

00:17:35.120 um yeah it means a lot man i know and a lot of people there i know are excited about it and um

00:17:44.080 on behalf of them i'm excited as well it means a lot just to be uh from uh that community and that

00:17:51.280 area and to be able to go back there and um and i just am grateful for that support there and everywhere

00:17:59.040 and we had some nice calls that came in um i just got back from toronto and uh niagara falls baby we did

00:18:07.520 it over there and if you haven't been a been to the falls you need to go see it and i was on the

00:18:13.840 canada side and you look i got to my hotel room and i looked out and i and you see i mean it just is

00:18:21.760 unreal it's just there's so much energy there i mean you see that river and you see that mullet on

00:18:29.760 it baby you say damn that's a waterfall baby that just is god you just yeah just i mean it's just 0.60

00:18:42.240 stunning you know it's just a stunning um it's a stunning place over there so if you get a chance 0.96

00:18:47.600 to check that out it's worth it um and then we spent time over there in toronto and you know

00:18:54.640 toronto i'll say this man there's a there's it's really friendly folks it's i mean it's very friendly

00:19:04.720 and it's very diverse too it is i mean god you they got things you never seen 0.99

00:19:11.280 you know they got you know they got things you never seen over there you're like damn you you're 0.93

00:19:21.360 you're you're you're a person it's so it is mixed baby 1.00

00:19:28.640 oh and and one thing that's different there is rate the racial there's not a rate you don't feel a

00:19:36.560 racial tension especially between black and white folks there now that of course you know i'm white

00:19:44.080 or semi-white you know and so that's that you know i can just have my perception you know and i grew up in

00:19:51.120 a black and white area and so there's more history you know racial history in the u.s but in cat and

00:20:00.400 canada it's that's not there it's really different man it's the energy when you're when black and white

00:20:07.840 people around each other it's really

00:20:12.240 it feels real clean it feels like there's not

00:20:19.600 there's not a bunch of faces from the history you know there's not a bunch of like uh there's not

00:20:26.240 a bunch of history you know it just feels like there's this history of being human and that to me

00:20:34.080 was you know it's nice it's nice to see and it's nice to feel that uh so if you want to it just was

00:20:43.760 real interesting experience man um because it's different in america and not everywhere in america

00:20:50.560 exactly and not always in america but i'm just saying kind of on average and it was i thought

00:20:56.080 that was pretty spectacular man you know uh

00:21:02.080 and and another thing about canada they're not there's not as many people trying to like

00:21:07.600 it doesn't feel like it's really safe i mean it's safe you don't feel scared you feel

00:21:15.840 you just even if somebody's mean if you see a mean person the worst thing they're going to

00:21:19.520 going to run up and say hey i'm mean and then they'll run off you know and like hey i'm mean

00:21:27.440 sorry sorry about being mean but i still am and then they'll run off that's like the word it's like

00:21:35.520 i don't know i think part of it is they don't there's not people trying to get ahead there's not as

00:21:41.520 much like in america i feel like we're so conditioned that you have to get ahead you have to keep climbing

00:21:48.480 keep climbing and in uh canada they're more relaxed there's not as much of that energy

00:21:56.880 and so when you're not when you're not trying to get ahead as much you're more you have more energy

00:22:03.280 just to be you're more happy where you are you're more happy where you are if you're not trying to

00:22:10.800 climb then you get to you you have your your energies there to stand in the group and share

00:22:16.640 with your community and so i think that's what i feel a lot is a lot more people are content

00:22:25.760 and man it's nice to be around it's nice to witness it's nice to know that that's possible in

00:22:31.680 a place because sometimes sometimes it doesn't feel as possible here in america anymore to me and

00:22:42.000 i'm not trying to be a downer i just sometimes you know but yeah it was just it's nice when you just

00:22:50.320 talking to somebody and that's they're just trying to be helpful trying to be friendly

00:22:56.640 not trying to get ahead or do anything just trying to be associated with their fellow man or woman

00:23:02.480 there was something hella warm about that um

00:32:47.600 and i didn't know my side business was going to turn into my real business but that's exactly what

00:32:54.880 happened yeah that's what's amazing is you get started in one thing and next thing you know you're 0.99

00:33:17.440 um let's see what else we got

00:33:19.840 coming out of the great mountains of north georgia north georgia up there to coa and other areas

00:33:31.440 in georgia the mountains of georgia that's a great place to um to hide from a uh 1.00

00:33:39.360 uh to hide from knowledge sorry i shouldn't have said that but find some people up there that ain't

00:33:56.400 did you find somebody got 14 letters in alphabet you say dang come on onward sorry you're talking

00:34:04.400 about ways to make money on the side not to financially set off in the first place been

00:34:09.920 cutting grass for a living since i was 17 it's been pretty successful so far started off with a mower

00:34:15.280 and trailer just charging 40 50 dollars a cut now i have to try and trust customers i'm getting paid

00:34:21.440 up to about 500 a month about 50 grand a year and i'm able to pay off an employee oh amen and that's

00:34:28.080 great yeah once you get going then you realize okay i can hire somebody to do this and i can start to

00:34:34.240 you know uh scale up they call it you know gary v calls it that scaling up or whatever they call

00:34:41.760 something i don't know but yeah do somebody yard boy especially these days people rich people you 0.94

00:34:48.720 could do all kind of shit to their yard bro you know especially you go to atlanta bro they have 0.99

00:34:54.080 they'll have you do all kind of shit to the yard bro they'll have you put a finger wave on the 1.00

00:35:19.760 that bro that things are evolving too so what can you offer you know you cutting grass but you could 0.99

00:35:27.280 do grass and more you know if you cornrow somebody's fucking cornfield that's on point 0.99

00:35:35.920 you know dang that's what i'm talking about if them bougainvilleas bro if them bitches are 1.00

00:35:40.240 fucking they got a french braid they got them bitches rode up you know you got a fade over 1.00

00:35:48.720 there on the bougainvilleas that's what i'm talking about that high and tight or you 1.00

00:35:54.320 fucking jerry curl a rose bush you know it's just what can you offer for the people 0.96

00:36:02.080 what else we got let's hear more brother kind of funny because i found out tonight my girlfriend's 0.99

00:36:07.360 pregnant i guess that's what prompted me to call you hell yeah dude that's what i'm saying bro 0.97

00:36:14.320 that's how look if i cut enough grass bro somebody getting pregnant that's on god homie that's where 1.00

00:36:24.560 i'm from bro if if i do if if if i do enough yard work somebody getting pregnant that's you know

00:36:38.160 you know what i'm saying you keep raking bro and suddenly you rake up into some ovaries bro and

00:36:42.720 there you are bro y'all in love bro and you got a family baby praise god man congratulations too man

00:36:50.400 let's hear a little more i'm not ready for a kid i know i have a long way to go until i am right

00:36:56.560 but it's all about being determined to do better for you yourself and those around you

00:37:01.920 because uh well man i think you can handle it brother you know you can handle the first you

00:37:09.920 know you handle you handle not knowing what to do with a job and you started you made a choice for

00:37:14.400 yourself but don't overwhelm yourself either man it don't have to be perfect bro

00:37:19.680 you know you're gonna man you're gonna do a great job that kid is you part of that kid is you

00:37:26.080 that's what's that's what i think is probably real fascinating about being a parent and you obviously

00:37:31.600 care about yourself man you work in doing things for yourself so all you can man you're gonna do so

00:37:37.280 good man uh bro i'm happy for you bro um we actually had one more that came in let me hear

00:37:44.800 hey what's up man this is dylan um i'm from new hampshire but i live in denver now

00:37:49.280 i'm calling about how to get out of poverty uh one of the best ways to do it is door-to-door sales

00:37:53.920 you live in smart homes selling security selling pest control you know you can go fly out to pay

00:37:59.760 for your stuff it's all commissions you got to make sure you sell but if you're tough enough man you can

00:38:03.200 make six figures your first year wow i didn't know that buddy door-to-door sales

00:38:11.920 yeah that's great because dude some people these days honestly i believe if you go to someone's door

00:38:19.920 okay and you knock on their door and when they open it if you say look

00:38:27.280 really honestly if you give me ten dollars bro i'll leave right now

00:38:32.880 i bet six out of probably 15 people will give you

00:38:39.920 10 at least eight dollars at least eight dollars bro to get out to leave bro because people are fearful

00:38:47.760 now so i think that's a way you could get you know start stacking a little hey knock knock knock

00:38:54.880 yes you know my name is terry and i'm real with you i don't know what i'm doing but here i am 0.80

00:39:03.920 and for ten dollars i will leave immediately bam bitch i'm venmo and terry bruh bye terry i'm venmo and 1.00

00:39:12.880 terry gotta go sayonara teddy hey teddy uh goodbye terry goodbye terry oh so crazy terry is gone 0.99

00:39:28.960 sorry that shit gets me uh pretty amped up man let's hear more no prior experience you know and then you 0.98

00:39:36.480 learn to sell and you can apply that other places you get a jump start in your life you do it at any 0.98

00:39:40.080 age so that's my advice for uh people who don't know what to do reach out to those companies

00:39:46.080 short determination they'll give you an opportunity to make some money and the best thing you can

00:39:50.480 practice this at uh you could practice door-to-door sales at home depot if you go back in there

00:39:59.200 by the um kitchen you know by the uh appliances and everything they got a couple doors set up right 0.86

00:40:07.520 there a couple you know and you just stay i would close them stand there fucking knock when somebody 0.98

00:40:14.080 answers try to sell them something practice you could practice right there they got like you know 0.54

00:40:20.800 yeah usually a couple different doors different color doors and stuff like that and you could see

00:40:25.520 yeah knock knock somebody opened it they're like uh hello and you're like hell yeah you want to buy this

00:40:32.880 wrench set you know you want to buy this wrench set you could get anything out the store and sell it to

00:40:39.600 them you know you want to buy this uh yarn plant um fishing gear all types of stuff you ever done any

00:40:50.400 door-to-door sales riley i have really

00:40:56.160 wonderful man what did you guys sell um anything from popcorn to

00:41:03.680 seized candy oh wow and how'd you get involved with that you so you were doing more um is that called

00:41:11.360 that's not really on trays that's more side items huh right okay and what uh wait how do you get

00:41:19.040 involved with that uh popcorn was for scouts and seized candy was for band ooh ooh and what was

00:41:28.080 easier to peddle let me what do you think was easier to peddle out there and

00:41:31.680 what do you mean like a bite no no what what was easier to sell to folks oh um seized candy oh yeah why you

00:41:42.800 think

00:41:43.120 i think everyone just liked candy more than popcorn yeah

00:41:48.640 yeah

00:41:51.040 yeah that's interesting yeah i think if you put candy on the word of on the back of anything it's

00:41:56.640 you know people are interested in it you know you throw any you throw candy on the back of something 0.74

00:42:02.720 people are more excited you know like if you say hey you want to buy this bullshit people be like 0.98

00:42:09.680 nah nah i'll be like hey you want to you want to get up on some of this bullshit candy people be like 0.99

00:42:16.320 let me look at it you feel me rally i do that's business baby that's big business 0.86

00:42:25.040 let's hear more brother um secondly i have a question for you i keep getting these these

00:42:31.840 relationships that don't work out and uh part of it's my fault and we're working through that in

00:42:37.200 therapy but processing the emotions man i just keep crying this realization last week that anytime i

00:42:44.640 really really want to drink and i'm alone typically just need to cry so i've been crying constantly man

00:42:50.800 and i'm like god this is gonna stop okay so the question i have is do i just keep crying it out

00:42:56.240 or should i uh should i just buck up and you know stiff up and live because i don't know trying to

00:43:04.320 i'm trying to love myself and get to a place i can be good to someone else anyway i love you man

00:43:09.840 and i look forward to seeing you when you come to denver thanks gang brother thanks for that man

00:43:14.160 thanks for the call and just for sharing uh what's going on with you man um

00:43:18.080 um let me try and drop in here to this um

00:43:26.320 i think yeah tears you got to let tears out you know tears i believe that tears belong to god

00:43:34.000 you know i really believe that 1.00

00:43:37.360 now a baby's tears don't a baby a baby a lot of time baby just being an asshole and that's how a baby 0.98

00:43:44.080 gonna be boy but uh but as an adult man tears really i believe belong to god and 0.99

00:43:52.080 and a lot of times yeah you know their emotions they're attached to emotions

00:43:59.360 and they those emotions they take all it's hard to get them out of yourself

00:44:02.640 you know they go through a gauntlet of like of on you know it takes you know you'll be surprised

00:44:12.320 when an emotion finally gets to the surface of yourself so those tears i feel like there are a

00:44:18.000 lot of times they're this they're sweat man they're the sweat of the the gauntlet that your emotions had

00:44:25.520 to run through it's climbing through your soul

00:44:31.760 that's a that's the that's the sweat of those feelings man that's all that is

00:44:38.720 those feelings that they you know hard it it's hard for them sometimes to get out

00:44:43.840 and get out of your body and get out of your brain and get out of your heart 0.96

00:44:48.400 some of them have to go through your through the past through time

00:44:51.680 alignment and through your heart through your brain through your and through the part of you

00:44:56.960 that don't even want them to come out then they got to trick that bit they got to trick the bouncer a

00:45:01.520 lot of times and finally they get to the surface hell yeah they gonna be sweaty bro when those emotions

00:45:09.040 finally get there

00:45:12.960 so that's sometimes what i see tears as you know a lot of times there's that we see somebody tear up they

00:45:18.640 stop it i and sometimes i understand maybe if you're in a public place and you're feeling

00:45:23.040 uncomfortable or whatever but man if you have a chance to let those tears come out

00:45:29.680 i think it's important because the god god is trying he wants them out i believe that

00:45:41.200 yeah sometimes he's trying to wash away some old pain or

00:45:43.920 and now sometimes you might be excited you get so hopeful you know you'll tear up man and

00:45:49.440 and that's that could be tears that's trying to water some hopes that you might have

00:45:54.800 you know you may have such such great hopes god might be like hey you need a

00:46:00.880 couple ounces of water for them mitches i got you dog

00:46:04.720 now sometimes god might be you know you god might think you thirsty and he may see like hey this is all

00:46:10.160 i got bro and he you know there's salt in it but hey you can have a little you know and that's weird

00:46:15.760 bro if you're just crying just to drink them that's always we we had you know we had some dudes in our

00:46:24.000 town bro they wasn't doing that but they was being nasty boy they was being nasty dude that's one thing

00:46:33.120 god when people are being nasty i don't know i don't know how to handle it sometimes i

00:46:45.520 people because god people can be

00:46:49.600 nasty and they are being nasty sometimes i remember seeing them do it

00:46:57.440 god they was being nasty how do you feel about that rally man when you 0.77

00:47:04.560 you ever seen people being nasty or anything

00:47:08.560 um you know i just uh just don't i don't think about it what do you do just drive off yeah

00:47:20.640 what's going yeah what's new with you rally i feel like you know i know we haven't seen each

00:47:24.240 other in a while and i see you got that facial hair going maybe you got that catfish rocking

00:47:28.400 huh daddy i do how do you feel about that what what spurned that uh i just wanted to try something

00:47:35.360 new hmm and do you feel different with it does it feel how does that feel you know because i rock it

00:47:42.800 you know yeah no it feels great it feels definitely uh very different like how

00:47:49.600 how do you feel like do you feel give me five words it makes you feel

00:48:04.880 grown grown okay so black and older 0.99

00:48:10.800 um

00:48:10.960 i don't know i look better maybe i that's hold on it's a lot of what you don't just do you just

00:48:20.000 have to do a word sorry but i have to have the rules for the little thing for the game

00:48:27.200 you want to think about them yeah i'll think about them okay oh man

00:52:18.480 from one of these gator babies right here and these these men have been dealing with prehistoria 1.00

00:52:23.360 and prehistoria let me tell you what it is it's before um before it was like trial basis when god was

00:52:34.720 trying out animals this is way before uh like a um a deer or a uh golden retriever this is back

00:52:48.080 when god had like brontosaurus you know he was just he was putting shit together he didn't even know 0.94

00:52:53.360 yeah brontosaurus had like a 90 yard neck like damn what he would eat but it never made it to his 0.98

00:53:00.080 stomach and they would die every time they would die every time dude have a huge meal and then 0.97

00:53:06.480 you couldn't get the food couldn't get there and he died

00:53:10.960 you know he just and then they had triceratops them things 400 pound forehead bro set like 70 pound body 0.97

00:53:20.400 so them bitches the second they was they was born they took one step forward and just 1.00

00:53:25.840 and now every one of them died face down in the dirt t-rex he couldn't do she all he could do is bite 1.00

00:53:32.720 people all he could do is bite people man you know like a little pervert at a fucking mall bro 1.00

00:53:40.640 you know they couldn't he had them little arms he had them baby reachers he couldn't even 1.00

00:53:46.960 fucking hug his buddy think about that no wonder he's so angry he can't even fucking hug 0.92

00:53:56.560 and so that's some of the early animals god made and that's prehistoria now some of those animals are 0.99

00:54:02.320 still lurking around some of those animals still milling around in our world and i want to talk to

00:54:08.400 a man who captured one of them down there in uh mississippi over there and they just captured a 800

00:54:14.880 pound uh alligator can you imagine that can you imagine your wife thinks you're cheating on her 1.00

00:54:22.800 and you show up and you just your arms you got lacerations all over um yeah let's get to the

00:54:33.280 call uh joey clark i believe is the man joey hey what's going on theo how you doing man what's up boss

00:54:41.520 i see you got that old miss shirt on for yourself yes indeed man if i'm coming on a uh an lsu boys uh

00:54:47.680 uh podcast i gotta gotta represent right we'll call it a truce for a little while baby how about

00:54:52.960 that man there you go for about three or four weeks and it's back on okay deal man i'm turning

00:54:58.160 into a ut fan too here in uh in tennessee um joey tell me about this gator baby you guys caught that

00:55:05.520 gator huh yeah man um this uh went with three of my buddies out there uh we were in we're outside of

00:55:12.000 yazoo city and um oh yeah that's where um uh jerry clowers from yazoo city mississippi that's exactly

00:55:19.600 right that's exactly right uh went out there in yazoo city and we've been to this spot you know

00:55:24.560 over the years i think this is probably the fourth or fifth gator i've caught with these guys something

00:55:30.000 like that um so we've been to that spot several times and y'all are gator buddies huh that's right

00:55:36.400 that's right i've been with these fellows a few times and and they've been several years without me as

00:55:40.800 well um and so you get out there you guys get out there you're in a what kind of vessel are you guys

00:55:46.000 in not a submarine or anything huh no we're in a we're in a 14 foot john boat dang boy i know we

00:55:53.200 brought this thing in the uh oh that's some tom sawyer water work right there buddy that's right

00:55:58.880 that's right that that big gator was about a about a foot hanging off of that boat while we were trying

00:56:03.200 to get back in at night and so what do you hook him on what when you are are you aiming for this type

00:56:08.480 of big gator are you aiming what are you trying to catch are you guys looking for flounder what

00:56:12.640 are you guys trying to catch out there yeah when you're out there you're i mean in this area we've

00:56:17.920 we've hooked up and caught you know several you know 12 12 and a half foot gators out there and

00:56:22.640 that's really what we're looking for you know we don't you know in mississippi the cool thing about

00:56:26.640 here is it's not like louisiana it's not commercial they only give out about 900 tags a year so we

00:56:32.080 got drawn in the lottery so you want to make it count right you want to make your gator count you don't

00:56:36.160 want to come in there with a little nine foot gator if you don't have to but uh you know

00:56:40.320 nothing against that just we've done that before right so so we it's probably embarrassing i guess

00:56:45.840 if four men get out of a boat with a little baby gator that looks probably yeah i mean we've uh

00:56:52.160 that's casual looking we we saw this gator uh just as we were putting in right before dark and we had no

00:56:58.240 idea it was this big so we we hopped in the boat went out there and um you know we must have passed

00:57:04.000 20 to 25 30 gators on the way out there and they all look great and it's just a swamp full of 1.00

00:57:09.760 alligators out there but and how do you can you tell like because the eyes are usually poking out of

00:57:14.960 the water can you tell how big a gator is even just by its eyes poking out you can tell even when

00:57:20.000 you get you know you're far away from one you can tell if he's undersized and it's something you

00:57:23.840 don't want to fool with yeah but uh you know you're out there at night it's it's pitch black there's

00:57:28.640 they got to pump sunshine out there to that part of the part of the state and you know you're out

00:57:33.280 there in that in that stuff and you got a q beam and uh you're just trying to light those eyes up and

00:57:37.920 and go from there and does the beam shock the gator at all does it kind of get like a um like a does

00:57:44.320 it does it have that deer and headlights effect on a gator or what is that like it's not too much

00:57:49.280 gonna shock him when he's when he feels the vibrations in the water of your of your boat and

00:57:53.440 your trolling motor and all that that's what's going to make him kind of kind of duck and start

00:57:57.440 trying to get away from you and and you know he held his breath it seemed like 30 to 45 minutes

00:58:02.480 at a time a couple times and we just had to keep on searching him and um you know we hooked up to

00:58:07.360 him the first time and what are you hooking him on are you hooking him on a spinner bait what do you

00:58:11.600 got i mean what do you even put out there yep so it's just a treble hook what are you guys using are

00:58:16.160 you guys using chicken livers like what do you use it what's the bait no there's no bait whatsoever

00:58:21.360 oh there's no bait no bait whatsoever you're out there you know you've got to see this gator and

00:58:26.800 then you've got to be talented enough to be able to throw a uh just to throw that treble hook that

00:58:32.480 line right where you want to do it okay so you're not so there's no bait in there there's you're not

00:58:37.680 trying to get him to get something like a fish or it is more you are just trying to get the hook into

00:58:43.760 his body that's right that's right trying to get the hook in his body and you know eventually we kept

00:58:49.200 on trying to hit him with one one line at a time and we did that but he kept breaking off and what

00:58:54.320 these gators do um we must have we probably hooked up on him seven or eight times i guess

00:59:00.080 and he kept on you know shaking that that treble hook out of him but what they're trying to do is

00:59:04.240 go under logs and things like that and and shake that that hook out of them and then they're free

00:59:09.840 um and so that's that's kind of what the the gist is there and do they seem nasty like did this gator

00:59:15.040 seem like a nasty guy or what did he say like can you get any a semblance of what their personality is

00:59:20.640 like did he seem like a nasty guy yeah man he was uh he wasn't the meatest gator we've ever run 0.72

00:59:26.400 across we've run across some meaner ones but he was very territorial you know he did the you know

00:59:31.600 the weird thing is we've hooked up on some good-sized gators in the past and you know you hook them once

00:59:37.120 or twice and now they kind of get the gist of what's going on you're trying to kill them and they disappear

00:59:42.560 you'll never see him again but this gator he wouldn't do that uh he was there in that area you know he's

00:59:47.600 just uh we probably a hoarder have you seen that show like my 700 pound life or something that

00:59:52.080 because that those people don't not you know they're usually locked in their house with magazine

00:59:56.720 you know they have like stacks of magazines and everything that's right that's right this thing

01:00:01.440 is over there and yeah he's in his spot and he's not trying to get out of it he's uh he's doing his

01:00:06.480 thing and uh like i say he never left he never left the 200 yard radius for us and that's just crazy to

01:00:12.240 me that it happened like that because we hooked into him the first time about 9 30 at night we

01:00:17.360 didn't have that thing in the boat until 3 30 in the morning my god and so you hook him you start

01:00:23.040 getting him now how close is the boat at are you just right next to him yeah you are so you know

01:00:30.720 i'd say when you hook up on him initially you know you're probably within 15 feet of the gator 0.92

01:00:36.160 probably so i wouldn't be there buddy i'd call a damn uber buddy i would not be right there i'll be

01:00:44.640 glad to send you a couple of little videos we took on the boat so you can kind of see for yourself on 0.85

01:00:48.640 this uh if that'd be something that would help kind of put it together for you we'd love that

01:00:53.520 we'll play some of those side by side while we're talking about it okay so you get him you you have

01:00:58.240 how many hooks do you eventually get into the gator finally at the end we did get a second hook in

01:01:03.360 and we had one the first hook we call it which is not where you want to catch him would be uh back at

01:01:08.320 the tail and that's that's where my buddy don he he blind cast out over him hooked him in the tail 0.74

01:01:13.760 we fought him for about 30 minutes we could get a second hook in him damn you know and so kind of

01:01:18.960 my job with all this is when i'm in the boat you know we've got a snare or whatever and my job is 0.89

01:01:23.680 once he's come up for water what do you mean a snare yeah so it's like a drum no not a drum it's uh

01:01:30.320 it's kind of like um i i'd call it almost like a noose right i mean it's you did you you've got a rope on

01:01:35.840 the end of it you slip it over his head and then when you do it i just pull that rope as hard as i 0.97

01:01:40.720 can and basically try to sit down on the bottom of the boat until uh so this is some damn bdsm 1.00

01:01:45.760 it sounds like kind of yes indeed yes indeed wow there's it's so it's crazy we wind up it got him at

01:01:52.800 14 feet uh three inches so it as of today we've got still got 24 hours left in the state of mississippi

01:01:59.520 for gator hunting season but as of today it's the state record wow and how much weight was it

01:02:04.320 802.5 pounds damn boy and that missed that missed the uh state record by 20 pounds so that just tells 0.52

01:02:12.080 you how big they are down here oh so it didn't even make the weight record but it made the length record 0.95

01:02:17.040 that's right that's exactly right that's incredible man it is it is so once you have both of those hooks

01:02:23.440 how are you elevating it out of the water what's like how does your boat not capsize yeah so you know

01:02:29.600 what he's doing when he's down there underwater he's he's you know he's fighting and he's down

01:02:34.880 there and he's been down there there you know at this point you know over that seven hour period he

01:02:39.200 had been in that water uh you know underwater the majority of that time but they got to come up for

01:02:45.360 air right they got it they at some point they can't stay underwater forever they got to come up

01:02:50.000 so when they do you got to think about it as you're you know these guys with the two lines are pulling

01:02:55.200 him closer and closer to the boat um as they continue to fight him and he continues to come

01:02:59.520 up for air a little bit more frequently towards the end and that's you know when it gets close

01:03:03.760 enough to the boat within you know i'd say two or three feet if you can and that's when you want

01:03:08.480 to put that that snare around him and and hook him from there and kind of finish the deal off

01:03:13.200 and do you choke him out does somebody get on him how do you finish him man i'm trying like 0.97

01:03:17.680 hell to choke him out i'm like i'm just holding him as tight as i can until somebody can shoot him 1.00

01:03:21.920 oh you shoot him yeah yeah you got to shoot him oh damn bro this is a damn that's right this is a 1.00

01:03:28.800 damn robbery bro yes it is it's a it's a mugging for sure it is god i thought y'all were just towing 1.00

01:03:36.320 him in no no no no you got to put that bad boy in the post the last thing you want to do is toe him 0.99

01:03:41.680 in and and then you lose him or something yeah because once if you were to break off a rope or

01:03:45.440 something he's at the bottom of the river you're not getting him back you know and when he went after

01:03:49.760 he's right when he dies do y'all hug or what do people like is there a celebration what is that

01:03:54.560 moment like man it's just a sense of relief you've been out there with him all night long and the last

01:03:59.520 thing you want to do is let him off the hook look we had been out there for so long we were all just

01:04:04.000 getting tired and worn out we've been all day all four of us just you know doing our thing and nobody

01:04:09.840 wanted to give up and we all thought about it but at the end of the night you know my buddy tanner

01:04:13.840 the entire time uh he was like we're not letting this gator go we're just not going to do it so he was

01:04:18.720 he was hell bent on getting this gator in the boat oh every tanner i know will get hell bent they get 0.98

01:04:23.200 hell bent on all kind of shit you put a couple beers in them were you guys having a couple beers 0.99

01:04:27.200 no there's no drinking out there there's no drinking it's a little bit too unsafe for that 0.99

01:04:31.520 we tried to be as legal as we could with getting this gator in and out and thank god we did because

01:04:35.760 now you know i mean immediately when we pulled it out obviously the state wildlife department gets

01:04:39.840 called they got to come measure it and confirm it and but no no party and the partying was after i guess

01:04:44.640 that you know over the over the last 10 days just trying to uh let all this stuff sink in man it's

01:04:50.000 it's grown and blown up beyond our wildest expectations man man that's exciting brother yeah

01:04:55.280 and do you all name him or anything is there any uh is there anything like that do you all bury him

01:05:01.200 what's the what happens is there any things that happen like that no so we don't we haven't named him

01:05:07.840 i wish we would have i wish you kind of brought something up maybe we should do that

01:05:11.120 um but the uh with the meat we've donated the meat to a uh to an organization there in yazoo city they

01:05:18.560 kind of just you know divvy that meat out um to you know orphans probably things like that

01:05:26.000 yeah then it came out to like 380 pounds of meat so it was a ton of meat on that and yeah i remember

01:05:31.680 they had an orphanage by us and they would always whenever people would cut uh that a lot of donated

01:05:37.440 meat would go over there and sometimes i had a buddy that was over there and we'd go over there 0.98

01:05:41.200 and eat and they'd always be eating gator up in that bitch it's kind of wild to think oh it's crazy 1.00

01:05:45.760 you go in there and you see 20 freaking orphans bruh no i don't yum and yum and down on some gator 0.99

01:05:52.320 it's just like that's it man get them some gator sausage and then let them have a weekend you know

01:05:56.400 that's oh yeah if they don't have parents dude get them some decent meat that's what i think 0.98

01:06:00.000 everybody deserves something exactly but yeah man it uh that that was you know kind of the gist of

01:06:07.360 the of the gator itself and um you know i guess with this hide we're going to get some leather

01:06:11.440 boots made we're going to be looking sharp come uh come christmas time i guess we'll see what's up but

01:06:16.640 that's the plan well praise brother thank you so much for just jumping on and and filling us in on

01:06:21.440 some information it's really fascinating and congratulations on the state record man that's

01:06:26.240 amazing well i appreciate it man it's very nice talking to you and uh like i said it's been a wild

01:06:31.600 ride and um i'll send you those videos so you can check that out and kind of see put this into

01:06:36.160 perspective what it's like out there in the pitch black at night oh yeah brother please do also just

01:06:41.760 great to talk to somebody um from over there near yazoo city mississippi the home of jerry clower my

01:11:42.640 some kind of behind the scenes stuff really um you know you guys we had an issue in the past where

01:11:49.040 uh kai the hitchhiker and he's a famed um he uh you know he uh smashed smashed smashed somebody at 0.97

01:12:01.280 an intersection with a hammer and he was that hammer baby you know he's that freelance construction worker

01:12:09.040 and he um he was like a national celebrity and he and then he did um murder he did a few murders

01:12:17.920 and so anyway uh that was a famed clip somebody took my face and put it on his clip and it made the rounds

01:12:25.280 on social media and it was you know funny and crazy i can't believe that somebody made it um but then

01:12:31.680 at a certain point uh he filed a lawsuit against me against me and said that i was using his footage

01:12:41.360 and his um uh like name and like i don't know just his using him um and so we reached out to uh

01:12:51.120 morgan and morgan uh who's a who's a sponsor of the podcast and my buddy dan morgan is um one of the

01:12:58.320 morgans over there and uh and so they've been handling that case for us and i thought it was

01:13:03.040 over with but apparently it's not uh we're still getting stuff in the mail and um and so that i

01:13:08.960 want to check in right now uh we have is the only we have arthur petrosian that's right hey theo

01:13:17.200 hey arthur how are you today good brother how are you i'm doing pretty well man except uh

01:13:22.800 uh you know i keep getting hammered by this case man this guy he's uh he's a resilient isn't he

01:13:29.040 guy is definitely persistent um he's he's unfortunately been able to dance around some

01:13:35.280 of these procedural issues in federal court keeping the case alive um the court still has not heard the

01:13:41.380 case on its merits so we're confident that once they hear the case uh they're ultimately going to

01:13:46.960 dismiss it out and how many like has he filed because yeah i've got i keep getting paperwork

01:13:52.400 and a lot of handwritten stuff and how many like how many things has he filed at this point

01:13:59.920 multiple motions uh multiple amended complaints um you know it's fun to read to be honest uh you know

01:14:10.620 every time i come into the office and i get a handwritten note from kai uh from his jail cell i

01:14:16.400 open it immediately i can't wait to read it i actually have a document that he filed with the

01:14:22.880 court so this is an official document that he filed in federal court and this is all public record so

01:14:28.540 anytime you file a document in federal court anybody that has an account can go in and look at this so

01:14:35.000 um i i think this paragraph gives you a glimpse of what this case is all about and what he's been doing

01:14:41.380 and if you'd like i'll read it it's actually kind of funny yeah i'd love to yeah let's get

01:14:46.340 it so so this is kai in his moving papers he says plaintiff is writing this at 5 30 in the morning

01:14:53.280 in a sweltering hot cell in a stone building without air conditioning that heats up during the day

01:14:58.940 and holds the heat throughout the night he's using a floppy shank proof pen he typed this at the law

01:15:06.620 library but he only gets five hours once a week if he's granted extended access and his access just ran

01:15:13.700 out and then it goes on to say even now plaintiff has to wake up at 3 30 in the morning get his work

01:15:21.700 on this opposition done before 11 a.m or else the sweat-soaked document would be unacceptable for

01:15:27.540 filing wow defendant and that's you in contra distinction and these are his words has began

01:15:35.720 has been making comedy videos in an air-conditioned studio making a show in the most literal sense

01:15:42.480 of slacking off enjoying himself instead of filing a responsive pleading the court can see for

01:15:49.380 themselves that during the time in question defendant was having the time of his life

01:15:54.400 well so you know it's it's going nowhere it's just things like this that he continues to file

01:16:03.080 again they're the court in order to provide him with due process is kind of entertaining him at this

01:16:09.720 point okay um but we strongly believe that within the next 60 to 90 days when the court actually hears

01:16:16.020 the merits of the case and actually reviews our motion to dismiss that they're going to grant it

01:16:20.540 so will we have to go to court do you think i would uh you don't have to but i will definitely

01:16:27.240 be there representing you thank you first of all thank you very much yeah absolutely i can't glad to

01:16:33.200 be here glad we could help yeah i know i'm i'm really grateful for you guys helping man god i mean it's

01:16:38.600 just so and so i guess if somebody's in in jail they still have the right they can still sue somebody

01:16:44.340 they can still even if they did murder they can still you don't lose those rights you know

01:16:50.300 absolutely and this was this is what this case is about and that's why we've been kind of sitting

01:16:55.140 on the sidelines for about six to eight months is because the federal court wants to make sure that

01:17:00.220 they provide kai his due process rights and they hear him out uh again eventually this case gets

01:17:06.480 dismissed but for now we're going through the motions and making sure that the court hears him out

01:17:11.940 wow and do you guys get a lot of a lot of cases like this you know we don't handle a lot of cases

01:17:20.400 like this but we pride ourselves in in fighting for the people and we consider you a good friend

01:17:26.180 theo so uh we've we're all hands on deck on this case we've got multiple people pushing it uh we've got

01:17:32.420 experts lined up as well too just to make sure that you're going to be protected from every angle

01:17:36.780 so you know it's it's kind of an exciting case it provides some comic uh value for us yeah just

01:17:43.840 because it's it's different than a lot of the other cases but yeah i'd almost i almost well first of all

01:17:50.520 thank you guys so much man uh you know uh dan you know dan morgan is a nice guy and we have a lot of

01:17:56.440 mutual friends and and um and thank you guys too for for supporting the podcast and i know you guys

01:18:02.340 mostly handle like personal injury that type of stuff that's right right but it would almost be

01:18:07.980 crazy what if we got to go do like a deposition or something that would be wild wouldn't it that

01:18:13.180 would be wild it would be very entertaining um we would probably have to take it in jail

01:18:18.180 in kai's cell probably i don't know if he'll get extended hours to go to the law library to

01:18:23.280 who's deposition from there but that would be exciting exciting to do yeah i appreciate it man

01:18:30.520 thanks for like at least recognizing that uh this is kind of entertaining along the way i'm sure it is

01:18:35.540 a little bit different than normal um yeah i mean he's definitely kind of a notorious figure so

01:18:42.360 yeah um well we're excited to back you up if there's anything else you need you let us know

01:18:47.860 thank you hopefully hopefully i will not but i appreciate that you got it all right have a good

01:18:53.760 day brother you too wow so that's interesting you know that's uh but you know i'm grateful that

01:19:01.260 you know if people if you that you don't lose all your rights you know i mean what a what a fortunate

01:19:07.280 country where you can do a murder and still go and have rights i mean that is

01:19:17.780 you don't get some places you don't even get that you know i'm sure there's a lot of countries where

01:19:23.540 you don't get that where if you do a murder that's it you know they're like hey buddy you do you do

01:19:30.040 you do the murder then you that's all you do win um sticking in the legal in the legal space i want to

01:19:40.760 talk about uh something that has been tough for it i want to talk about something um we our podcast

01:19:49.240 was defrauded we were stolen from um we were taking advantage of a lot of ways to say it uh the company

01:19:57.240 that did it is cast media and the man that did it is colin thompson and i'm going to put his picture in

01:20:04.460 here um and uh it's i don't know exactly how to say this i'm gonna do my best um we're part of a

01:20:15.380 larger group of podcasts that were uh stolen from right we were part the in total i've just between

01:20:24.900 talking with folks there's up to four million dollars that i know of that people were taking

01:20:28.980 advantage of uh we're in the six figures i know of podcasts are in the seven figures um and colin

01:20:36.000 thompson that's his name i want to say his name so you know it uh people get taken advantage of a lot

01:20:41.540 in business and and and businesses use tactics and stuff to hide to hide themselves and uh you know

01:20:49.020 they'll use bankruptcy or the threat of this or that and and um and and he may get my money

01:20:54.960 that's okay you know i'm fortunate that i can still have touring and that i uh can take care of 0.99

01:21:01.420 myself but you fuck with the wrong rat colin i'll tell you that brother and uh and i'll just tell you 0.99

01:21:08.380 guys what happened um we had a deal with this company right and and it was started off good and then it 0.99

01:21:15.220 started to get where we were getting less of our payments and we were reading the ads we do the ads

01:21:21.660 you know we read them out loud and we and and you guys support some of them and thank you um

01:21:27.720 and then it got to be where we were getting paid less of the payment we were owed and they sell all

01:21:34.560 the ads a year in advance so you're kind of stuck into the year right and the advertisers were paying

01:21:41.360 colin thompson and cast media and they weren't paying us they would pay us a little bit and they

01:21:46.180 had a reason why and so and one of the craziest parts was like there was like we kept asking you

01:21:53.480 know hey we have to get paid man we have to and we weren't getting paid and so finally i was able to

01:21:57.460 make a new deal um and just cut ties completely i made sure that everything you know they breached

01:22:03.140 our contract and so i was able to cut ties and then they come along colin thompson comes along

01:22:10.120 and he joins there's a new company that has a stock that's going live soon right or it's coming

01:22:18.540 out or something this company called podcast one or live one right i he they they get me on a call

01:22:28.200 uh with i think the guy's name rob ellen yeah that's the guy's name rob ellen um and his brother is doug

01:22:39.280 ellen who's like a screenwriter and i think he did his brother was pretty successful um but they get

01:22:46.200 me on a call with this guy rob ellen right and and they tell me um they tell me that if you come

01:22:56.000 over to our new network over to this new network podcast one that will pay you some of what you're

01:23:04.320 owed in stock right but the stock hasn't gone public so they're trying it it felt like to me

01:23:10.740 they're trying to leverage our podcast and other podcasts to then make their stock do well

01:23:20.440 um and then if that happens then we'll get a share of our money right like it just

01:23:30.460 the whole thing to me felt really uh seedy and the worst part to me was i said well what about colin

01:23:41.180 thompson i said that guy's a crook and they said he's gonna be um he'll be they said we felt like he's

01:23:51.860 done a good job and that he would be part of the team still so how that's just i know some of this 0.98

01:24:00.080 is a lot of insider baseball man but to me it was just fucking just it felt real dirty and it felt like 0.90

01:24:07.520 um just no respect for podcasting no respect for the work that we had done um you know to get paid 0.91

01:24:16.880 by the advertisers and then not pay us and then uh for colin to lead us in this direction to say

01:24:22.800 well if you join this other group before their stock goes out that uh that then we'll pay you in

01:24:29.560 some of the stock but part of that will be based on if we're there for it to do well

01:24:33.600 i don't know man but i know what it feels like to be taken advantage of uh and i wouldn't do that

01:24:42.080 to these people i wouldn't do that to colin thompson i wouldn't do that to cast media and um

01:24:47.480 and so i say this just because i don't want this guy taking advantage of anybody else

01:24:51.600 a lot of times in business practices especially in like um entertainment stuff a lot of people are

01:24:58.780 able to snake away and they're able to slip through and use tactics and uh shell games and bullshit 0.97

01:25:06.700 um but you fucked with the wrong rat homie i have a voice and a lot of other people are forced into 1.00

01:25:13.940 these bad deals because they don't they're afraid to speak up they're afraid to speak up man and uh 0.99

01:25:20.160 that's not what our show is about and um yeah i just want you guys to know that this is the man

01:25:28.560 we put his picture up on the thing on the youtube and the amount of money that i from from

01:25:36.320 other people podcasters they've said is over four million dollars um 0.99

01:25:41.080 and um yeah it's just the shit's fucking wrong and i don't also understand how a company expects me 0.97

01:25:51.960 to come wanting me to come over there to boot what felt like to me they were using me to boost 0.99

01:25:58.020 their stock price and i don't say that out of ego but we've done well and that they get all these

01:26:04.180 podcasts saying well that'll boost our stock price then we'll go public with the stock

01:26:07.620 and then based again on their backs the stock there'll be there'll be money there so it's like 0.98

01:26:15.380 it felt like y'all gonna try to fuck me twice homie well no no thank you uh so yeah you can keep that 0.98

01:26:24.620 money um you can't keep it we'll see how it plays out but if you do end up keeping it man 0.98

01:26:29.600 you must have needed it you must have needed it i don't know i mean it doesn't make me stoked but

01:26:35.740 um but you can't get me to shut up man you can't get me to shut up and uh if that's the cost of it 0.99

01:26:46.760 for me to say my fucking piece you know how many other podcasters wanted to say this shit right now 0.99

01:26:52.600 but can't say it so anyway um 0.99

01:27:00.460 yeah that's who i just want you to know i want you to know about colin thompson i want you to know 0.83

01:27:07.540 where i've heard he's going to be working at and i want you to know that he's a crook and to me it's 0.57

01:27:13.340 criminal um but the the the way that people are able to cheat and lie and and manipulate the system

01:27:20.220 um you know he went and got neil sacker who worked with harvey weinstein to jump on the calls 0.98

01:27:27.560 i mean he just i don't fuck it's just fucking kind of sad man and yeah but i just wanted to speak up 0.97

01:27:37.680 for myself man i've waited a year to speak up for myself you know he he they put us through so much 0.99

01:27:43.340 bullshit and i don't know if there's other people over there that did it too and maybe we'll get more 0.70

01:27:47.280 information i don't know or this may be all you ever hear about it you know um and so i didn't really 0.95

01:27:54.120 know how to the best way to do this but um yeah i wouldn't do that to somebody and he they did it

01:28:01.640 man they did it to i mean some of these people's podcasts is all they had man and these 0.57

01:28:06.440 motherfuckers did that bro so i'm sorry about that um and i'm sorry for them and yeah i'm just 0.94

01:28:13.300 happy to have a voice for myself and that's one thing that we built here that that he had nothing 0.98

01:28:18.260 to do with he had nothing to do with in fact he stole on our backs once and i'm not letting these

01:28:23.460 people do it to me two times so for anybody that had to take that that sucker deal over there 0.67

01:28:28.920 uh this i'm speaking on for all of us man um because i know that some of you guys have said to me

01:28:34.820 that you wanted to say some of these same things and i don't mean that out of ego i just mean that

01:28:39.700 um i don't know i feel uh you know i don't know sorry maybe i shouldn't have said that part

01:28:47.480 i don't want to speak on behalf of those people but um yeah i just wouldn't have done that to

01:28:53.060 somebody and uh i'm happy to be able to speak for myself i'm so thankful i'm thankful to you guys

01:28:59.300 to the listeners that we have this place here um and that this is what we try to do and i'm sorry

01:29:05.640 i've been making this about me this past five or six minutes or whatever but um

01:29:09.860 but uh this was the only public place i could do this where i feel like it would have some effect

01:29:16.960 because to me this guy is like the bernie made off of podcasting and uh and that almost glorifies

01:29:23.460 them in a weird way but um i wanted to be able to say that sorry i'm just rambling but uh i wanted

01:29:29.500 to be able to speak my piece thank you um with that said man let's get back into something here um

01:29:40.420 i want to say this you know i just saw i saw on twitter where max holloway who is from maui was

01:29:46.380 sharing about how uh a donation that was made to the maui food bank and then dustin hollow dustin

01:29:53.520 poirier uh and the good fight foundation uh matched their efforts a ten thousand dollar match

01:30:00.660 and on behalf of this past weekend uh we want to do the same thing i know there's a lot of listeners

01:30:05.520 out there who think like well how can i help and what can i do and so i'll um so we're going to do

01:30:11.060 that together here um and so yeah we're going to match that ten thousand um there's some charities

01:30:17.900 also that kelly slater shared about the surf man and so we'll see uh but we want to we're going to

01:30:25.400 match that ten thousand dollars for maui um and that's this past weekend that's us doing that so if

01:30:31.400 you're a listener and today you're feeling like i wanted to do something for the people of maui

01:30:36.120 uh you just did and we did that um and yeah sorry i hope that doesn't sound egotistical sorry man my

01:30:44.640 brain's a little all over the place from sharing some of that uh you know i think when i get taken

01:30:50.980 advantage of it attaches it to like old feelings of shit and um yeah it makes me feel uh 0.96

01:30:59.960 it makes me feel 0.92

01:31:05.700 it attaches to old feelings of like that i don't have any worth or something i don't know i don't

01:31:13.880 know sorry uh all right what else can we do anything else you want to say riley um you know

01:31:23.760 just that you know i'm glad that my family is safe um my i have some family out in maui um

01:31:31.240 some cousins out there that they're both firefighters and you know i'm just glad everyone's safe

01:31:36.600 really huh firefighters so were they did were they they they must have been involved huh

01:31:41.840 yes uh they all lost their homes oh man

01:31:45.920 man the world sometimes there's just so much going on it feels just it feels just really it

01:31:58.620 feels like a lot doesn't it yeah definitely well i'm sorry brother i'm sorry that that happened for

01:32:04.800 them and you know that that community over there god there is nothing more special if you get to

01:32:09.780 witness it in your life um then some of the connectivity of some of that community over

01:32:16.180 there and uh maui the other islands as well um it's just something really really special

01:32:22.060 you know uh so our thoughts are still with them man and yeah i'm sorry that that happened but thank

01:32:30.320 you for letting us know that riley let you know let us know a little bit more about you you know

01:32:33.920 and that's important and if we ever get that boner to launch homie we might have 0.99

01:32:39.740 to get a couple firemen to put that thing out boy 0.98

01:32:42.780 whoo boy we gonna get that branch to burn you know we're gonna get you out there just

01:32:51.780 siruping that little hammer baby um yes i yeah thank you guys man for being a part of this episode and

01:32:59.340 um yeah it just uh you know it doesn't have to be perfect you know um you ever feel like that riley

01:33:08.840 i do yeah where do you think it comes from man or what do you think about it

01:33:16.160 um yeah you know it just you don't you know you don't always have to be perfect

01:33:22.580 yeah because we can't be right right yeah so it's a fool's errand isn't it yeah man

01:33:31.640 but what it almost feels like we like we should be that where we need to be does does it ever feel

01:33:37.780 like that to you sometimes yeah and what do you do then when you when it happens

01:33:43.440 uh i just think again that i'm you know i don't have to be perfect

01:33:51.180 yeah that checks out man that checks out um

01:33:59.220 yeah we don't have to be perfect you don't have to be perfect i mean you are you're you're fine

01:34:07.540 uh so yeah praise baby thank you guys thanks for the love and support and just um yeah i just i

01:34:16.760 can't i feel like i just say thank you over and over again uh but hoping to make the most of this

01:34:23.920 week man hoping to hide from this summer i think this one last week is flaring up and then we could

01:34:29.760 do what you know we could see what winter's thinking about so um you guys be good to yourselves

01:34:36.220 baby you deserve it and you too riley okay thank you theo yeah you bet man thank you man thanks for

01:34:43.380 being here i ain't seen home in about a hundred days i can almost hear mama pray for my restless soul

01:34:54.880 and i ain't made a dollar i ain't spent but where it's going ain't killed me yet i still get where

01:35:04.160 i'm bound to go

01:35:05.620 i'm makin it i'm makin it i'm makin wrong feel right

01:35:17.400 i'm makin it and it helps where i'm headed then
