00:26:50.080 yeah i'm trying to sorry i'm trying to explain how i feel and feel at the same time and for me

00:26:54.240 that's always been kind of a tough thing to do

00:27:52.560 yeah i i got off my medicine man i got off my medication i was taking i take lexapro and i

00:27:57.280 i don't take a large dose i think it was 20 and i got down to 10 and then i'm off

00:28:02.160 and it's been interesting because i've had a lot more feelings man i've had a lot more feelings and

00:28:07.440 some of it i'm grateful for because i i was just not having any feelings you know i was just not

00:28:13.680 having any feelings everything was kind of fine you know and and sodas wasn't having any feelings and

00:28:20.960 so i was like i need some feelings man um you know i'm making sure that i have like just have friends

00:28:30.240 and stuff that know that i'm off of it so uh if anything seems too crazy um

00:28:36.800 so i'm just trying to let my feelings just kind of settle or just get back to like a baseline

00:28:42.880 so um i'm hopeful about that and i've been making sure i do a lot of running and stuff to just keep my

00:35:44.960 this is a science christmas i love that i love that season man um

00:35:56.320 what else uh

00:36:00.000 let's take a call that happens right here

00:36:05.120 yo uh mr vaughn man on your recent podcast you were talking about uh you don't

00:36:13.920 uh you're afraid to talk about certain topics because you don't know enough man

00:36:24.000 you you got to take that pressure off yourself man i don't know nothing

00:36:28.800 i mean i may even be cognitively deficient i mean i don't even know you ain't got to know

00:36:34.720 nothing man you just ask questions you just have people on ask questions do your solo episodes just

00:36:42.240 ask questions man you ain't got to know nothing you're just you're just throwing stuff out there

00:36:46.880 man you're trying to figure it out like the rest of us so don't worry about that man you just keep

00:36:52.080 doing your thing don't be afraid you um you mean a lot to a lot of people man you're making a big

00:36:58.800 impact so the more courageous you can be the more people will follow that and that's what we need so

00:37:05.040 thanks man thanks dude uh you know um you know i think

00:37:20.480 yeah i don't know what i'm doing

00:37:24.000 yeah yeah yeah thank you man yeah i don't know what i'm doing man i i know i'm trying 0.77

00:37:30.240 but yeah i don't know what the fuck i'm doing 0.94

00:37:37.600 yeah i'm just being i'm just just being a human i'm just trying my fucking best man 0.95

00:37:44.400 you know most of the time anyway i don't know if sometimes maybe i'm even not 0.65

00:37:48.640 but yeah i think i've just always felt so much pressure man i've always felt so much pressure 0.96

00:37:53.920 to get it right you better fucking get it right you know 0.92

00:38:02.880 i've always felt like i wasn't uh 0.97

00:38:08.960 like i had to get it right

00:38:13.840 or there was no value to me or to to whatever to whatever i was doing it's like if it's not perfect

00:38:24.080 there was no value

00:38:27.200 and so i think that's still how i operate sometimes like i got to get everything perfectly

00:38:35.440 yeah and it's just impossible man and i'm tired of like uh yeah

00:38:42.320 thank you man yeah i just i think i did need to hear something like that

00:38:45.200 you better get it right that's what i would always kind of feel like to myself

00:38:54.560 you better get this you better you better get this right that's the voice inside of me

00:39:04.400 it never had any patience it never had any patience with me the voice inside of me never had any patience with me

00:39:10.720 and then and then and you know what i don't have a lot of patience with myself either

00:39:24.320 which is kind of both which

00:39:26.800 i deserve to have some more patience with myself

00:39:43.760 yeah i deserve to have a little more patience with myself

00:39:46.720 yeah so thank you man i think i needed to hear that i do feel like i can't do it all i do feel

00:39:56.160 like i don't know what i'm doing i do feel like i'm trying my best i do feel like

00:40:00.640 sometimes i'm doing okay i do feel like sometimes i'm not doing okay i feel like

00:40:04.320 yeah i feel like i'm also never going to live up to the expectations that i've set for myself

00:40:18.080 because i set unrealistic expectations

00:40:24.160 yeah and i think i set unrealistic expectations because

00:40:27.360 because um

00:40:33.280 because if i never meet them then i'll always

00:40:38.880 be not good enough

00:40:45.360 yeah yeah thanks for just

00:40:50.160 making me think about questioning myself too just asking questions

00:40:53.600 yeah there's nothing wrong with if i don't know there's nothing wrong with me

00:41:00.400 if i'm not perfect there's nothing wrong with me

00:41:03.600 you know it's okay

00:41:12.720 yeah i've just always put so much pressure on myself to be perfect

00:41:17.120 i've always put so much pressure on myself to be perfect

00:41:19.440 man yeah

00:41:27.120 she makes me angry when i even think about it 0.99

00:41:31.040 like you better fucking be perfect 0.99

00:41:34.160 or you don't mean anything you know that's 1.00

00:41:36.240 it's some old story in my head or something

00:41:38.480 i'm not saying that right now to myself i'm saying

00:41:41.040 i'm trying to just feel that story you know

00:41:43.200 you better

00:41:49.600 yeah like if i can be perfect i'll show them that i mean something

00:41:56.240 yeah if i can just do things perfectly

00:42:01.360 they'll see that i have value you know i think

00:42:04.080 and then you never can do things perfectly it's impossible right

00:42:11.120 and so then you're just i'm always setting myself up

00:42:15.120 to not feel good enough

00:42:17.440 because i make my expectations of myself unrealistic

00:42:22.080 and so i can never achieve them

00:42:23.600 and so i'm always

00:42:28.480 just not enough for myself you know

00:42:30.720 um

00:42:34.000 so thank you bro thank you for that message i yeah

00:42:38.160 yeah it's like man i gotta get this right or i'm

00:42:41.440 wasting everybody's time that's how i feel a lot of times too

00:42:48.160 i think that's where i'm just trying to say where some of that pressure feels like to me it's

00:42:52.160 like

00:42:54.880 you're wasting everybody's time

00:43:03.120 yeah i wish you would yeah i think it just that goes back to old stuff for me or whatever

00:43:07.760 you're wasting everybody's time you better get this right

00:43:12.720 yeah look i yeah i i uh appreciate you just yeah saying that man i think sometimes i gotta

00:43:18.240 think about that stuff and i this year has been i think one thing it's been tough i haven't 0.76

00:43:22.000 had enough time to fucking think or feel shit that i just haven't had enough time to feel anything 0.90

00:43:27.920 man everything's just been so busy and i think the world's just so busy now 0.99

00:43:34.320 you know i mean yesterday was one of the first times i went to a meeting at the end

00:43:39.280 i went to eat with the guys at the meeting because i had some time i was like i don't have anything to do 0.96

00:43:47.840 fuck i fucking enjoyed that 0.98

00:43:49.200 yeah sometimes we're so damn busy we don't even fucking know we don't i don't even know myself 1.00

00:44:00.720 i'll get to the damn end of life and i'll sit there and be like hey who were who were you buddy 0.95

00:44:04.800 yeah yeah what'd you like to do i'll finally start asking myself the question because i just jumped on 0.98

00:44:13.200 the on the on the train i just jumped i just jumped on on the zip line

00:44:23.200 yeah but thank you man thank you for helping me think yeah just ask myself questions man i used to

00:51:47.840 adapted with right here uh but i'm definitely in love with her and uh i don't know man i just wanted

00:51:56.800 to i just wanted to say that man and uh i'm thankful for you and your podcast i just wanted to

00:52:03.760 say that that's the thing sometimes yeah i don't say things i don't you know i don't i don't i don't

00:52:10.000 i don't even speak my own damn joy sometimes i don't even let myself hear my own joy yes say that

00:52:21.280 say that man you got nine months you found somebody you like that's powerful daddy you hear that 0.92

00:52:32.240 you hear that man you hear that

00:52:37.040 man i'm just uh let me think about any other

00:52:42.720 man today's episode has been just all over the place guys i've had to start and stops

00:52:46.800 a bunch of times a bunch of times it's just been a tough time for me to get like a good flow going

00:52:53.280 you know i just feel kind of rattled and that's okay i feel you know uh

00:53:01.040 i don't know it's okay everything's okay it's okay you know it's okay um

00:53:11.440 um it's been a fun year and and i'm excited to see what next year could be like and

00:53:22.400 and i hope that this holiday season is something that you

00:53:26.560 make nice for yourself you know i i always

00:53:30.000 realize that um and i always forget too that if i want the holidays or anything really to to be

00:53:37.520 special i have to i have to be a part of making it mean something you know uh i need to show up i

00:53:46.400 need to be activated and um be a part of bringing the joy and not just expecting to

00:53:54.960 take the joy or receive the joy or i need to show up with some something it don't have to be a something

00:54:02.640 an item or something i mean sometimes it can be but i need to if something's going to mean something

00:54:08.160 then

00:54:11.040 it'll mean even more if i show up

00:54:14.720 with the idea that i'm going to make this mean something you know

00:54:19.040 and that could be if you're going to take a ride with your child somewhere and do something nice with

00:54:22.960 them or go shop you know or if you're going to spend some time with your loved one

00:54:28.160 um and y'all are going to go do something and you know to just

00:54:37.920 try and make a little extra effort to make it mean something

00:54:43.440 you know a lot of times in my life i've had opportunities uh to make things mean something and

00:54:48.880 i'll i'll choose to

00:54:52.720 kind of just be a curmudgeon or be quiet or try not to have fun sometimes i get afraid to have

00:55:01.440 to be a little bit more joyous you know um

00:55:08.480 you know so i think that's something that i wish for this holiday season

00:55:12.640 uh

00:55:15.760 is that if you're like me sometimes when there's a chance to be

00:55:21.200 to joke or to have sometimes i'll just get a you know i'll

00:55:27.600 i'll kind of shut down or i want to you know if somebody else asked me to do something i won't want

00:55:34.240 to do you know i only want to kind of do my ideas you know it's like

00:55:38.320 so i just hope that this holiday season i'm gonna try to be a little bit more like

00:55:44.000 if somebody else you know i'm gonna just try to go with the flow

00:55:49.280 and

00:55:51.680 and help the flow have a stronger current you know with my own attitude that's really what i mean

00:55:57.040 i'm gonna try that you know because it helps me too it helps me when i get outside of myself a

00:56:02.960 little bit you know and um

00:56:08.800 yeah so i'm gonna try that a little bit more this year

00:56:12.160 that's something that i'm gonna look forward to do um

00:56:17.280 yeah so instead of just continuing to ramble i just um

00:56:24.800 yeah i want to try to show up a little bit more this christmas and be a part of the joy a little bit

00:56:28.960 more and even if the game is on do things that are engaging with people i care about take a walk 0.98

00:56:35.920 with somebody or fucking tickle some little bitch i don't care do something that is uh 1.00

00:58:09.200 to happen or whatever um so that's a little bit how i feel but that's exciting because that's a
