00:00:00.000 Good evening, guys, and welcome to another awesome episode of Triggered.
00:00:03.000 We're joined today by Nigel Farage.
00:00:05.000 Nigel is a former member of the European Parliament, but probably most importantly, is known because he's the guy that helped orchestrate Brexit.
00:00:16.000 The original populist.
00:00:19.000 The movement that happened perhaps just a little bit before Trump 2016.
00:00:25.000 And we all know what happened there.
00:00:26.000 If it wasn't for Nigel, the UK would still be a part of the European Union.
00:00:31.000 If it weren't for Nigel Everett as the head of the UK Independence Party, that entire continent could be different.
00:00:39.000 If you remember, Brexit happened in 2016, as I mentioned, right before the November elections here in the United States.
00:00:47.000 It was the first sign that a populist revolution was afoot.
00:00:52.000 People who saw that didn't really put two and two together because most of it was done by the media, and they still couldn't explain how it could happen.
00:01:00.000 But it was happening everywhere.
00:01:02.000 It happened in England.
00:01:04.000 Nigel is now a host on GB News and still is an enemy of the establishment.
00:01:11.000 I'm shocked.
00:01:11.000 Who else do we know that's just like that?
00:01:15.000 In fact, they tried to debank him recently.
00:01:19.000 Coots, one of the oldest and most prestigious banks in the UK, was caught closing his accounts due to Nigel's political beliefs.
00:01:31.000 Hey guys, where have we seen this before?
00:01:34.000 Where have we seen this happening?
00:01:35.000 I'm trying to wonder.
00:01:37.000 This is why we spend so much time, actually, whether it be with our sponsors, or whether it's pushing the Patriot economy, whether it's me just, you know, two weeks ago, taking public square public to be able to combat the insanity that's taken over woke corporate, not just American culture, but across the world.
00:01:59.000 Two bank executives have lost their jobs over this.
00:02:03.000 But again, it's always, oh, it was an accident after the fact.
00:02:07.000 We never see any consequences for this sort of political discrimination in the U.S., yet it runs rampant.
00:02:14.000 So it's nice to see a little bit of retribution once in a while.
00:02:19.000 So, guys, make sure you like, subscribe, you share all these episodes.
00:02:24.000 It's all of you who make this show possible.
00:02:27.000 It's because of you that we're able to continue that reach, to combat that wokeism, to combat all the insanity that we see.
00:02:36.000 It's really simple.
00:02:37.000 Just hit the like button and also go check out our brave sponsors, okay?
00:02:42.000 It takes a lot of balls to sponsor a show like this, so be sure to check out the great folks over at Gold Co.
00:02:48.000 and take the steps needed to diversify your portfolio.
00:02:52.000 Inflation, reckless spending, global turmoil, they're all the reasons you need to be ready for what might come next.
00:03:00.000 The signs of another 2008 decline are literally staring us right in the face, so I just want you to be prepared.
00:03:07.000 And owning tangible physical inflation hedging gold and silver can help secure and stabilize your portfolio.
00:03:14.000 has top-notch customer service.
00:03:14.000 And Gold Co.
00:03:16.000 They'll answer all your questions.
00:03:19.000 They'll walk you through the whole process step by step, so you know exactly what you're doing.

00:03:31.000 And while you're at it, guys, in supporting the Patriot economy, don't forget about Patriot Mobile, America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
00:03:41.000 With Patriot Mobile, you put America first with every
00:03:45.000 Call all while getting the same nationwide coverage as the major carriers.
00:03:49.000 Patriot Mobile provides you dependable wireless service at an affordable price, but they put your dollars into action and support the freedom-loving values you share, unlike a lot of the other major carriers who are woke, who are taking your hard-earned dollars and supporting the people and the causes that hate you.
00:04:10.000 Patriot Mobile donates a portion of every dollar to support groups that fight for the First Amendment, our great Second Amendment, the right to keep and bear arms, the sanctity of life, and protecting our brave police and first responders.
00:04:22.000 So for free activation, it's quick, it's easy, it's simple.
00:04:27.000 And you guys can vote with your wallets.
00:04:29.000 Go to PatriotMobile.com slash Triggered.
00:04:32.000 That's PatriotMobile.com slash Triggered to learn more.
00:04:37.000 And with that, we'll go to Nigel.
00:04:39.000 All right, so guys, we're here with a legend.
00:04:42.000 Perhaps, you know, I hate to say this, and I don't want my father ever, maybe, hopefully he won't watch this episode, though Nigel and him are buddies, but I say, you may be sort of the original modern day populist, Nigel.
00:04:55.000 You know, the guy that started a movement breaking away from the insanity of the establishment.
00:05:02.000 And, you know, I guess we're all paying consequences.
00:05:05.000 You've seen what's happened to us over the last couple of weeks.
00:05:09.000 But they're going after you now, too.
00:05:14.000 When we were talking sort of prior to the show, we had a similar conversation.
00:05:19.000 Literally the last time we had dinner, it was right before CPAC, and you have now been debanked.
00:05:26.000 Let's talk about that a little bit.
00:05:27.000 What's going on?
00:05:30.000 Well, Don, you know, I was a populist before the Tea Party was even a twinkle in the eye of those that conceived it.
00:05:37.000 So yes, I've been doing this for 30 years.
00:05:40.000 I mean, 30 years ago, I just thought the Western world is losing its mind.
00:05:44.000 We're going in the wrong direction.
00:05:45.000 So yeah.
00:05:47.000 Nigel, are you telling me that you think it's ridiculous that three-year-olds are now deciding what gender they should be and performing life-altering surgeries and men are playing in women's sports?
00:05:57.000 Are you saying that that is ridiculous and that's just the beginning?
00:06:00.000 Are you saying that?
00:06:02.000 I know!
00:06:03.000 It's shocking, right?
00:06:06.000 I even find it difficult to believe that Doc Martin's new boots
00:06:10.000 Have a picture of a mutilated woman's breasts on them.
00:06:14.000 I mean, the whole thing is completely... Wait, wait, I missed that one.
00:06:19.000 I can't keep track of all the wokeness.
00:06:21.000 Are you serious?
00:06:23.000 Oh, it's getting crazier.
00:06:25.000 It's getting absolutely getting crazier.
00:06:27.000 So yeah, the last time you and I were together, we're going back early this year, we were sitting next to each other.
00:06:33.000 It was Kimberley's birthday.
00:06:34.000 It was a very jolly day, evening and having fun.
00:06:37.000 And you told me that you were having a serious banking problem.
00:06:40.000 And I
00:06:42.000 I remember saying to you, this is completely outrageous, but rather like a soldier going into war, you always think, well, it's okay.
00:06:51.000 It's not good, but it'll never happen to me.
00:06:53.000 This is the way the human brain, this is the way, it's true.
00:06:58.000 It's how we think.
00:06:59.000 And then, I mean, literally a few weeks after I was with you, and it could be the Trump influence, I don't know.
00:07:05.000 But a few weeks after I was with you, I've been with the same banking group
00:07:11.000 For 43 years, I ran my businesses when I worked in finance and commodities through this bank.
00:07:19.000 I've never had a problem.
00:07:21.000 I've taken loans from them, which I've repaid early.
00:07:26.000 I run large positive cash balances on current account.
00:07:30.000 Maybe more for me, but I do.
00:07:33.000 And yeah, I get the call that, you know, we don't want you anymore.
00:07:37.000 I get a letter confirming it.
00:07:39.000 No reasons given whatsoever.
00:07:41.000 I write back to the chairman of the bank to say, look, this seems to me to be pretty irregular.
00:07:47.000 I suspect political prejudice.
00:07:51.000 All of which is denied.
00:07:53.000 And then we have a mechanism here.
00:07:56.000 Now, how long it'll last, I don't know.
00:07:57.000 But we have a legal mechanism here called a subject access request, where I could write to the bank and get all the personal information they hold on me.
00:08:09.000 And I got back 40 pages.
00:08:12.000 So they have a file on you like the FBI has a file on me and anyone else who has conservative views, huh?
00:08:42.000 Absolutely.
00:08:43.000 Russia, Russia, Russia, as your father would say, was mentioned 144 times.
00:08:49.000 You know, horrible things that I'm a xenophobe, people think I'm racist and just horrible stuff.
00:08:56.000 Some of it was quite funny.
00:08:58.000 I retweeted a Ricky Gervais joke.
00:09:01.000 That means I'm a transphobe.
00:09:05.000 I'm a friend of Novak Djokovic as the tennis player who refused.
00:09:08.000 I mean apparently that's another huge cardinal sin.
00:09:11.000 Yes, God forbid one of the world's finest athletes who clearly would not need and does not have pre-existing conditions and would never in any even yeah even before we knew anything about COVID was really let's call it not susceptible.
00:09:25.000 So you could be friends with the world's greatest tennis player and they're going to cancel you for that because you didn't get vaxxed.
00:09:31.000 Yeah, that's part of my sin.
00:09:34.000 Of course, one of the major sins mentioned 14 times was friendship with the 45th President of the USA.
00:09:43.000 And this charge sheet just went on and on.
00:09:45.000 But here's the thing, in my case, and why I've got them.
00:09:50.000 I went public to say my bank accounts have been cancelled.
00:09:56.000 And I was very pleased your brother, Eric,
00:09:59.000 Was very public with the British press and said, well, if they can cancel Nigel Farage, they can cancel you too.
00:10:05.000 It was very useful and it helped get the debate really moving.
00:10:09.000 But you see, the bank then, the boss of the bank was at a smart dinner with lots of wine being poured.
00:10:19.000 And she told
00:10:21.000 The BBC, our national broadcaster's business editor, old Farage has been cancelled because he doesn't have enough money in the account.
00:10:29.000 And this was all taken as gospel by mainstream media.
00:10:33.000 But I was able to prove with this access request that actually they decided I'd be closed because, and I quote, I did not align with the bank's values.
00:10:47.000 Now, quite why a bank thinks it needs to have values other than acting with integrity, looking after shareholders' money and repaying the state because we bailed them out in 2008-9 after they all got caught with their trousers down in the subprime crisis, you know, I just don't know.
00:11:07.000 So I was cancelled for political reasons.
00:11:09.000 They lied about it.
00:11:10.000 They leaked about my account to the BBC.
00:11:14.000 And as a result,
00:11:15.000 The chief executive of Britain's biggest bank has been forced to resign.
00:11:19.000 The BBC have publicly apologised to me.
00:11:23.000 And we now have a debate, a public debate going on about the woke takeover of our corporation.
00:11:31.000 So, Don, to be honest with you, whilst it's been a pretty difficult few weeks, we are now achieving quite a lot.
00:11:38.000 Yeah, I'm excited about sort of what's going on.
00:11:40.000 I mean, the dinner, we had a similar experience.
00:11:43.000 The dinner, for those of you who probably aren't aware of the story, Nigel and I, it was like a Thursday night, I think we were speaking at CPAC on Friday in DC.
00:11:53.000 And so a couple of things actually come full circle.
00:11:55.000 You know, it was you, me, Kim, Carrie Lake, Matt Gaetz, uh, you know, let's just, some rabble-rousers, uh, you know, let's see, uh, Rahim was there, uh, you know, so not exactly people popular with the D.C.
00:12:12.000 establishment, uh, or in D.C.
00:12:14.000 in general, and so it started off, we're gonna go to this dinner, it was late, we didn't think about it, we sort of put it together last minute, it was like 20 people, so we actually got on the Public Square app, which I took public,
00:12:24.000 Last week, because they're one of the few companies actually out there combating that woke culture.
00:12:29.000 We took them public on the New York Stock Exchange two weeks ago.
00:12:33.000 And it was, that was awesome to see.
00:12:35.000 But we got on their app, found a restaurant that would have us, and rather than being, you know, protested and shouted out, we were welcomed with open arms and selfies.
00:12:45.000 But I told you, because we were talking about it, and I literally got a call from my partner.
00:12:50.000 I didn't even know what fully had happened then, but the full story came
00:12:53.000 My partner in MXM News, another one where we can just share all of the news, not curated as per the wishes and desires of the communists at Google or Apple, but just take everything.
00:13:05.000 Take Breitbart, but also show you the New York Times.
00:13:07.000 Take CNN, but also show you Newsmax.
00:13:11.000 We get a call from my partner that night.
00:13:14.000 I think we've been hacked.
00:13:15.000 You know, three quarters of a million dollars.
00:13:17.000 750 grand.
00:13:17.000 So, you know, significant money for a small business, right?
00:13:20.000 Our operating account.
00:13:22.000 It just reads zero.
00:13:24.000 So the next morning, we call the bank.
00:13:26.000 What's going on?
00:13:27.000 Oh, yeah.
00:13:28.000 We no longer want to do business with you.
00:13:30.000 Well, why?
00:13:31.000 Now, we don't have what you have in the UK.
00:13:32.000 And I think you're right.
00:13:33.000 They will shut down that loophole.
00:13:36.000 Because as long as it's benefiting someone like you, it's going to be a cardinal sin.
00:13:41.000 If it was benefiting a radical leftist, you know, a crazed lunatic, they would make sure that they would have full access to go after a conservative business, but not vice versa.
00:13:50.000 So I'm glad it's the way it is now.
00:13:52.000 I imagine they'll figure that one out.
00:13:54.000 And I go, they didn't even call.
00:13:57.000 They literally, oh yeah, we forgot to mention it to you.
00:14:00.000 We sent you a cashier's check back.
00:14:01.000 You'll have it in a couple days.
00:14:02.000 I go, we have an operating business.
00:14:03.000 What are you talking about?
00:14:04.000 Now, it was literally at CPAC.
00:14:06.000 So, you know, I ran into, you know, the Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy.
00:14:09.000 I was, we were with Carrie Lake.
00:14:11.000 So, we just start sending out, you know, all these guys, they're outraged because they understand that, you're right, if it can happen to you, if it can happen to me, if it can happen to one of my, you know, businesses,
00:14:24.000 Who can't it happen to?
00:14:25.000 Who won't they do it to?
00:14:26.000 I mean, you know, they may not like me, but I have a pretty solid soapbox to fire back from.
00:14:32.000 You know, we have a pretty deep coffers to actually, you know, engage.
00:14:36.000 You know, most people are so afraid, but if they can do it to us, and they're willing to do it to us, who won't they do it to?
00:14:42.000 So, you know, they had a really long day.
00:14:44.000 Oh, it was a mistake.
00:14:45.000 It wasn't a mistake!
00:14:47.000 You spoke to my partner.
00:14:48.000 You told him that you didn't want into business with us.
00:14:51.000 It wasn't oversight.
00:14:52.000 That was very clear.
00:14:53.000 But, you know, it was a mistake when they got caught, when they got trouble, when it went viral.
00:14:58.000 So, you know, that's how all of this started.
00:15:00.000 So, but you know, of course there's no consequences over here, but there were consequences over there.
00:15:06.000 How did that even happen?
00:15:07.000 I'm shocked because I actually think of the UK as, you know, quite candidly and having done business over there with the Scotland projects and all of this stuff, you know, I, unfortunately they're further down the slope towards, you know, the, the communist utopia that we're told is so wonderful.
00:15:24.000 Yeah, but they hadn't reckoned, had they, on me.
00:15:26.000 They hadn't reckoned on somebody that would take his jacket off, roll his sleeves up and start punching back.
00:15:32.000 Because most people who get debanked go away quietly and hide because they're embarrassed about what's happened.
00:15:40.000 They're worried that if they go public, their credit ratings will be damned.
00:15:44.000 They'll struggle to get other accounts.
00:15:46.000 You know, rational behaviour is that you just walk away with your tail between your legs.
00:15:52.000 But, you know, Nigel Farage isn't made like that.
00:15:55.000 And I realised this wasn't just about me.
00:15:58.000 We now know that in my country alone, 1,000 bank accounts are being closed every day.
00:16:06.000 Every day.
00:16:08.000 A thousand bank accounts for a variety of reasons, but one of the main ones, and this is worth thinking about, one of the main ones is they no longer want small businesses that take cash.
00:16:21.000 So think of a... I wonder why that is, Nigel.
00:16:25.000 Well, well, I'll tell you why it is.
00:16:28.000 I'll tell you why it is.
00:16:29.000 Because today we've appointed a new deputy governor of the Bank of England.
00:16:36.000 Her job is to oversee the introduction of a digital currency.
00:16:43.000 If we get anywhere near, and by the way, the Fed wants this as well,
00:16:49.000 If we get anywhere near central bank digital currencies, and I'm not exaggerating here,
00:16:57.000 We will be living under a quasi-communist system.
00:17:02.000 Oh, 100%.
00:17:02.000 I mean, your social credit score will dictate whether you get to eat or not.
00:17:08.000 And if you think that's an exaggeration, again, now also to be clear, because a lot of the fans of this, this isn't a knock on crypto.
00:17:15.000 This is a knock on a central bank digital currency, where there will be none
00:17:22.000 You know, whether it's transparency or anonymity, depending on which you want, where there'll be none of that, where it can and will be weaponized against you.
00:17:31.000 I mean, they'll try to do that in the U.S.
00:17:33.000 at the Fed.
00:17:34.000 You know, the same government that wants to audit your Venmo account if you spend more than $600, but has no problem losing $220 billion, you know, like the Pentagon did, but, you know, no consequence.
00:17:44.000 Again, you know, $601, you're going to jail.
00:17:47.000 Uh, this is, this is a disaster, but, I mean, explain to the audience that's watching this just how, how critical that is.
00:17:55.000 Again, because, you know, if a bank is willing to shut you down, imagine what, I don't know, let's say, a political party, uh, that is not affiliated with you, that is in control, because we see that going on with my father, and what, what are we on now?
00:18:09.000 And like, indictment 3476,
00:18:13.000 It's laughable, but we make the mistake of assuming that these people have a modicum of decency or scruples.
00:18:23.000 They don't.
00:18:24.000 We have to stop even thinking that.
00:18:27.000 I mean, the same with the corporate culture, by the way.
00:18:29.000 Listen, there's people I know that have been conservative that I've defended, and it's like, but then you watch them, and they double down on the insanity.
00:18:36.000 So we're basically just at war.
00:18:39.000 Even if you try to be reasonable, you try to be rational about it,
00:18:42.000 You can't, because you're not dealing with honest actors.
00:18:47.000 You're not dealing arm's length.
00:18:50.000 What we have in our favor is a clear, settled majority of people, but they're a silent majority.
00:18:58.000 They don't have the ability, they haven't got the platforms that you and I have got, but when they're confronted with what is actually going on,
00:19:06.000 They are repulsed in every way.
00:19:08.000 I mean, the real worry here is because of AI, you can take a big bank, it could be a Chase, it could be a NatWest in the UK, doesn't matter.
00:19:17.000 They can put 20 million bank accounts into a computer system,
00:19:23.000 Yeah.
00:19:23.000 Yeah.
00:19:44.000 Mainstream majority views do not align with what is now a woke corporation.
00:19:51.000 So this battle is very real.
00:19:53.000 And remember, in the 21st century, having access to a bank account
00:20:00.000 is as essential as water and electricity coming into your house.
00:20:06.000 Without it, you simply can't function.
00:20:08.000 You can't pay utility bills.
00:20:10.000 You simply can't live.
00:20:12.000 And you made a point there a moment ago about crypto.
00:20:14.000 Now, this is really interesting.
00:20:17.000 We must fight to make sure that cash remains legal in every way.
00:20:23.000 Yep.
00:20:24.000 If we choose to pay in cash, we must be able to do so.
00:20:29.000 But if they were to move, if they were to move, and the plan is in the UK that the early form CBDC, central bank digital currency, will be in circulation by 2030.
00:20:45.000 That's how quickly we're moving on this side of the pond.
00:20:47.000 Alright?
00:20:48.000 Yep.
00:20:48.000 If they go that way, the only escape route is crypto.
00:20:53.000 Yeah.
00:20:54.000 Crypto is the only escape route.
00:20:55.000 And yet, what I've discovered, Don, in the last three weeks, since I blew the whistle, and I've opened a website called accountclosed.org,
00:21:04.000 To say to people, whether they're private individuals or companies, if you've been shot by the bank, come to me.
00:21:10.000 Let's fight together.
00:21:11.000 Let's become a big, powerful entity.
00:21:14.000 What I'm learning is people who are putting money every month into Coinbase,
00:21:20.000 So they're actually sort of going after their competition indirectly, trying to make it too penal.
00:21:38.000 I mean, that sounds like, I don't know what the monopoly rules are like in the UK, but that certainly sounds like that would be coming into play right here.
00:21:49.000 Well, this is all stuff that I'm exposing, and I'm learning as I go on.
00:21:53.000 I blew the whistle on this, not just for me.
00:21:56.000 I blew the whistle because I could see the control of money actually is the ultimate control that government can have over our lives.
00:22:05.000 They try to limit what we can say.
00:22:07.000 They try to limit who we can see.
00:22:09.000 They try to limit our freedom of association.
00:22:11.000 They attack us in every way.
00:22:12.000 You know, the new virulent form of big state communism that we're fighting
00:22:18.000 Right throughout the English-speaking world is real.
00:22:21.000 But if they've got control of our money, they've got control of us.
00:22:25.000 They can control not just what we earn, but what we spend and how we spend it.
00:22:29.000 They can say, oh, hang on a second.
00:22:31.000 You've had three flights this year.
00:22:33.000 Your carbon credits are now fully used up.
00:22:36.000 So I can see the dangers of this.
00:22:38.000 And even the escape hatch, the crypto, they're now already trying to close the door.
00:22:43.000 Now, I'm saying this to people.
00:22:45.000 Whilst what is happening is deeply alarming and very scary, it is not too late.
00:22:51.000 We haven't got there yet.
00:22:53.000 We have got to have, we have got to have, all of us, the basic right in our country to a bank account.
00:23:01.000 It must become illegal
00:23:03.000 For bank accounts to close people down as a matter of their opinions, especially if they're legal, decent ones.
00:23:12.000 And, you know, the Supreme Court in America recently made a very sound ruling that universities should not prejudge applicants on the basis of their identity.
00:23:24.000 But they're very loud and powerful.
00:23:52.000 They're very loud and powerful, but they've been able to bully.
00:23:56.000 Correct.
00:23:56.000 They've bullied the corporates.
00:23:58.000 You know, the Soros funded, you know, hate mob that go after advertisers and all the rest of it.
00:24:05.000 They've been very effective up till now.
00:24:07.000 But once you wake up the populace at large, what's going on?
00:24:11.000 You've got a chance of fighting back and winning.
00:24:13.000 So, you know, some of the things I've learned over the last three weeks have shocked me.
00:24:18.000 I'll be honest, the situation is far worse.
00:24:21.000 That even I believe when you first alerted me to this when I was with you a few months ago, it's worse than I thought, but it is still winnable.
00:24:31.000 Yeah, well, like I said, we saw that, you know, sort of, again, with the Public Square launch.
00:24:36.000 I mean, people, you can vote with your wallet a little bit.
00:24:38.000 You can support, you know, the woke companies that hate you with your hard-earned money.
00:24:43.000 Or you can, you know, in the U.S., go to, you know, go to Public Square, find the businesses that align with your values.
00:24:48.000 Give your money to them.
00:24:50.000 The more powerful that they are, the more emboldened that they are, because they're not worried about being cut off because they have an alternate sort of form of revenue.
00:25:00.000 It allows us to accelerate that process of becoming unafraid.
00:25:04.000 The other side, you're right, it's a very small minority, but they're incredibly vocal, they're incredibly powerful.
00:25:09.000 You know, I think the trans mafia is the most powerful group in the world at the moment, and I'm like, who are, like,
00:25:15.000 How is it even possible?
00:25:16.000 A small group of lunatics are able to control so much, but they have because they've been very effective.
00:25:22.000 So, you know, we do have to do that.
00:25:24.000 We have to take time to go and support those businesses that are willing to either speak up, to be sort of unapologetically pro-freedom.
00:25:33.000 I think you're right.
00:25:33.000 I think there's plenty of people, center-left, apolitical, agnostic, that still believe in this because they understand one day that if
00:25:42.000 It continues, perhaps power flips to the other side, and then all of a sudden they're in the crosshairs, so they understand exactly what's at stake.
00:25:49.000 Nigel, again, the UK has sort of been ahead of the curve in terms of the decline into this, you know,
00:26:00.000 We're good to go.
00:26:19.000 I don't even have time to sort of hit it every time, but there's so many instances I read like, wait, wait, wait, you go to jail for that?
00:26:26.000 Whether it's misgendering or this?
00:26:28.000 I mean, there are people like facing real penal consequences for
00:26:35.000 Well, you know, any other time would have been a common error or common sense or would have gone along with the science or would have just been protected under free speech that doesn't exist over there.
00:26:46.000 Can you talk about some of those examples just so people here understand
00:26:53.000 You know, a country that we think we're aligned and it's freedom and yada, yada, yada.
00:26:57.000 I mean, we saw a lot of that change in the UK.
00:26:59.000 We saw that, you know, during COVID and New Zealand and Australia and the lockdowns and all these people that we thought were so aligned with us.
00:27:05.000 You realize that they're further gone than we'd like to believe.
00:27:09.000 Tell us about some of those instances, because I know there's so many out there.
00:27:13.000 Yeah.
00:27:14.000 We may be further gone.
00:27:16.000 Than you.
00:27:17.000 But don't forget the biggest influence on the entirety of the English speaking world.
00:27:22.000 And by that, we're talking to two and a half billion people in the world that speak our language.
00:27:27.000 I mean, you know, we are a third of the world's population that use this language.
00:27:32.000 The West Coast social media giants have had a massive influence.
00:27:37.000 The difference of why we're in a bit more trouble than you, I think,
00:27:42.000 Is the founding fathers in America took the best bits of Britain.
00:27:47.000 They took the best bits.
00:27:49.000 They saw what we'd learned over centuries and our own civil wars and our own problems.
00:27:55.000 And they put together a very clever constitution.
00:27:59.000 And, you know, the First Amendment, the right to free speech is still something that people in America believe in very fundamentally.
00:28:06.000 We don't have that protection because we kind of thought
00:28:11.000 It was there anyway.
00:28:13.000 We didn't need to codify it.
00:28:16.000 And the problem we have now is that legislation gets passed, social legislation gets passed, and the day after the legislation is passed, if you don't agree with that legislation, suddenly, rather than having the protection of the First Amendment, you become guilty of a hate speech, a hate crime.
00:28:37.000 So take, for example, gay marriage as an issue.
00:28:41.000 I mean, I couldn't care less about the issue personally, but the Conservative government 10 years ago made gay marriage legal in the entirety of the United Kingdom.
00:28:53.000 It wasn't in their election pledges, they just decided to do it.
00:28:58.000 And anybody that was against it, and you think of the Catholic Church, perhaps, and other organisations like that, the day afterwards, if you criticised it, you could be in very real trouble for hateful speech.
00:29:12.000 You might get a knock on the door from the Metropolitan Police.
00:29:16.000 And there are so many other examples like this, where as the ratchet turns, as the extreme woke agenda
00:29:24.000 You know, makes its views in Parliament and elsewhere become dominant.
00:29:29.000 Anybody opposing this faces real problems.
00:29:33.000 Just this week, I spoke to a teacher, school teacher, a chap who'd been doing it 25 years, who, yeah, who called a girl who now wants to be a boy.
00:29:45.000 And he called it by the girl's name, because that's what he remembered it from the week before.
00:29:52.000 And now he's been sacked.
00:29:55.000 For misgendering.
00:29:59.000 I mean, it's extraordinary.
00:30:01.000 Do you know we've got public libraries now in the UK?
00:30:05.000 Public libraries that are hiding books that they think may be gender critical.
00:30:14.000 Hiding books that may be intellectual books,
00:30:19.000 You know, about the trans movement.
00:30:22.000 I mean, they're hiding these books now at the back of the libraries so nobody can see them.
00:30:27.000 They're hiding books about the build-up of the British Empire, as if somehow we're not allowed to know about the history of our country, or George III, or the trouble we have with North America, or whatever it may be.
00:30:42.000 I'm not joking here.
00:30:43.000 When I was a kid, I learned about what had happened in Berlin.
00:30:48.000 In the mid-30s, when the National Socialists, or Nazis as we know them, took the books out of the National Library and burnt them in a public square.
00:31:00.000 The Nazis burnt books in a public square.
00:31:03.000 I remember as a kid, being about 10 or 11 at school, learning about this, thinking that's really shocking.
00:31:08.000 Can you imagine a regime that would burn literature, that would ban music, that would ban art?
00:31:17.000 And that's exactly what we're doing today.
00:31:20.000 So yes, we are further down the road than you are.
00:31:23.000 Your First Amendment is a very, very precious thing that must be fought for and guarded, I think, at all times.
00:31:32.000 But the truth is, the truth is, actually,
00:31:36.000 It's the entirety of the English speaking world that's in trouble.
00:31:38.000 It's Canada.
00:31:39.000 It's Australia.
00:31:40.000 It's New Zealand.
00:31:41.000 It's the UK.
00:31:42.000 It's America.
00:31:43.000 Oddly, Europe, with all its problems, hasn't gone quite as far down this road as we've gone.
00:31:51.000 It is the English speaking world.
00:31:52.000 And I have to say, I think the influence of people like Mark Zuckerberg here has been enormous.
00:31:58.000 Yeah.
00:31:59.000 Yeah, no, listen, I think, you know, big tech has had such an undue influence, you know, creating, you sort of see it, like, it's like, I use Twitter as sort of a microcosm of all of those ideas, or X now, where, you know, you follow it, you read it, you're like, oh my God, this must be what it is, but then you get into the real world, and you realize it's just noise, right?
00:32:18.000 That doesn't, there's just, you know, powerful people that have more following, they're able to do this, the bot farm generated, you know, Google search, Wikipedia,
00:32:27.000 You know, it's all bullshit.
00:32:29.000 It's all created.
00:32:31.000 But the problem is for the average person, as you said, you know, you're not going to challenge it.
00:32:36.000 Or they're agnostic, right?
00:32:38.000 They're not into politics.
00:32:39.000 They're not watching.
00:32:40.000 So they Google search something and assume that they're going to get an honest representation of both sides.
00:32:46.000 That's not actually the case.
00:32:48.000 It's heavily weighted towards one side, which influences sort of indirectly the way you think about a subject.
00:32:54.000 So they've been able to push people.
00:32:55.000 Russia, Russia, Russia.
00:32:57.000 You know, if three or four percent of the populace were like, I don't know, maybe there's something to it.
00:33:02.000 You know, they're too busy to do the diligence or look into it or even, you know, think past the stupidity of the whole narrative.
00:33:09.000 You know, Trump needed the money, whatever it was.
00:33:14.000 You know, hey, that influences an election.
00:33:17.000 Those people, maybe they're not even swayed towards the Democrat side, but they say, you know what, maybe there's something to it so they don't bother to show up.
00:33:24.000 And when elections are won on the margins and basis points, that's all you need.
00:33:30.000 The truth is, most people living in your country and mine, right, they've got a job, they've got a couple of kids, they've got a dog, they've got a mortgage, they get up early in the morning, they work hard, they pay their taxes, they do their best to obey the law, and
00:33:50.000 The time they spend analysing media and news is five to ten minutes every day.
00:33:56.000 It's as they're having a shave in the morning.
00:33:58.000 It's as they're driving to work.
00:34:02.000 And these people haven't got the hours to analyse things and think about things.
00:34:07.000 They're smarter than us, Nigel.
00:34:09.000 They're not dumb enough to engage.
00:34:10.000 Oh!
00:34:12.000 We're the only morons stupid enough to make this our lives and sit there and fight like animals only for the pleasure of getting indicted for the 19th time.
00:34:22.000 So maybe they're a lot smarter than us, but either way it is happening so we must remain vigilant.
00:34:30.000 Yeah, I mean, you know, they're probably happier than us because they're getting it.
00:34:34.000 But but but they're the ones that are prey to these influences.
00:34:39.000 They're the ones because they, you know, they tap their cell phone, you know, and they're getting, you know, they're getting Facebook messages from family and friends or whatever it is.
00:34:49.000 And they're very, very prey, very prey to prejudice and bias.
00:34:54.000 And that's the truth of where we are.
00:34:56.000 But look, you know, I repeat the point.
00:35:00.000 I've been on a journey this last few weeks, since I came out as a debanked person, and thousands of others have come out and said, oh, well, we didn't want to say it because it was too embarrassing, but we've been debanked too.
00:35:13.000 I've been learning a lot.
00:35:14.000 And I'm learning that they want to control our money.
00:35:17.000 There are dark forces out there that want to control our lives at every level.
00:35:21.000 But I'm going to finish with this point.
00:35:24.000 However upsetting and scary and worrying all this is, there is still a big, solid, settled majority.
00:35:34.000 Forget left and right, it's irrelevant.
00:35:37.000 There's a big settled majority for decency, for free speech, for fairness.
00:35:42.000 The vast majority of human beings
00:35:45.000 We can agree with them on some things and disagree on others, but the vast majority are decent people.
00:35:51.000 And we're going to have to somehow find a way of rallying them to win back the liberties and freedoms.
00:35:58.000 And what is at stake here?
00:36:00.000 Everything, no doubt.
00:36:02.000 Western civilization.
00:36:05.000 It's a thing we've developed over centuries.
00:36:08.000 I mean, I guess speaking of Western civilization, one of the other sort of, you know, issues that, you know, my father got on very early is, in my opinion, 100% right on.
00:36:18.000 It's something that you actually were, you know, are all over for the UK.
00:36:22.000 I mean, talk to us a little bit about illegal immigration and that situation in the United Kingdom.
00:36:28.000 I mean, I've read, you know, that the UK now has boats where they're storing hundreds of migrants.
00:36:34.000 You know, what's going on there?
00:36:37.000 Who's behind
00:36:38.000 The plan to house illegal immigrants on barges and, you know, presumably just release them into the populace like what we have on our southern border because, you know, again, I think we've learned from Europe on that one, it doesn't work out well.
00:36:52.000 Just look at the, you know, the rape, murder, arson statistics that skyrocket through the roof when, you know, when you're welcoming to people who, you know, aren't necessarily the best intentioned people.
00:37:05.000 We have a 21 mile
00:37:07.000 Anti-tank ditch.
00:37:08.000 It's called the English Channel.
00:37:11.000 And it's been our great protection.
00:37:15.000 We managed to stop Napoleon coming over and conquering us.
00:37:18.000 We managed to stop Hitler coming over and conquering us.
00:37:22.000 And we've always been, as an island, or a series of islands, you know, the Brits have been a great maritime nation.
00:37:30.000 You know, through the Royal Navy, through the merchant fleet.
00:37:33.000 We've always, for this little island, reached out across the world in the most astonishing way.
00:37:40.000 And to think now that criminal gangs are able to put tens of thousands of people
00:37:47.000 I think we've always believed about our nation, its borders and who can come and live here.
00:37:52.000 And interestingly, Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, is suffering the same thing.
00:37:57.000 Last weekend,
00:38:16.000 An advertisement went out to American tourists, and American tourists flocked to Dublin.
00:38:22.000 Dublin is a magnificent 18th century city, you know, and there's quite a big romanticism among Americans about Ireland.
00:38:30.000 Not just Joe Biden, but more generally, there is a romanticism.
00:38:33.000 There's a lot of Irish Americans, yeah.
00:38:36.000 Yeah, and in your family's case, Scotland, of course, but there is a lot of this.
00:38:41.000 And the warning that's been put out to American citizens
00:38:44.000 When you come to Dublin, don't wear a watch or jewellery walking around the streets of Dublin.
00:38:50.000 And why is that?
00:38:51.000 Because the criminal gangs have come illegally into Ireland and are now in control of many of Dublin's streets.
00:38:58.000 And you've got the same problem on the southern border.
00:39:01.000 And I mean, God alone knows.
00:39:06.000 Who is coming into America?
00:39:08.000 There will be some genuine people fleeing from persecution and poverty.
00:39:12.000 And we know that.
00:39:13.000 We understand that.
00:39:14.000 You know, we're not hard nosed, horrible people.
00:39:17.000 We understand that.
00:39:18.000 What we can't stand are liberties being taken by people who come into our countries with criminal intent.
00:39:25.000 So we both have a similar problem on this.
00:39:28.000 And, you know, look at Malmo.
00:39:29.000 Look at Malmo.
00:39:31.000 Malmo, a southern Swedish port, a place I've known for decades through business.
00:39:35.000 Now, the rape capital of Europe and number two for murder.
00:39:39.000 Because a large gang of ill-intentioned people have come in, taken my town over.
00:39:45.000 You know, gun crime, issues like this that were unheard of 20 years ago are there.
00:39:50.000 So, you know, the first duty of government is to protect the integrity of the country and the citizens of that country.
00:39:58.000 And increasingly, it's not happening.
00:39:59.000 And I think the scale of the problem in America, with the millions crossing the southern border, is genuinely sharp.
00:40:06.000 Yeah, and to me, I mean, there's no other explanation for some of the insanity other than it is designed as a way to reshape the country.
00:40:16.000 You know, I noticed there's different handling of the people, say, coming from, you know, sort of South America through Mexico than there are people that are actually much more likely to be true refugees coming from Cuba or Venezuela, where there is actual persecution of
00:40:34.000 Right?
00:40:34.000 But, to me, it's obvious that those people are escaping those socialist dictatorships, yadda yadda yadda.
00:40:41.000 They're not going to vote Democrat in the U.S.
00:40:43.000 So, southern border, fine.
00:40:45.000 Leave it wide open.
00:40:46.000 We'll put you on a program.
00:40:47.000 You'll be a loyal, dedicated voter for life.
00:40:51.000 You know, Cuba, Venezuela, that's a little different.
00:40:53.000 It's why Florida is the way it is, and they're trying to reshape everything else elsewhere.
00:40:58.000 How's that happened?
00:40:59.000 You know, what's going on with that in UK?
00:41:02.000 I mean, how has that reshaped that?
00:41:04.000 I mean, yeah, I've been to Malmo myself.
00:41:06.000 It's Sweden, a beautiful city, incredible country.
00:41:08.000 But, you know, what's going on is ridiculous.
00:41:12.000 And, you know, these are not... It's ridiculous.
00:41:16.000 It's ridiculous.
00:41:18.000 And, you know, the left don't want to talk about it.
00:41:22.000 Don't want to discuss it.
00:41:24.000 Out of sight, out of mind.
00:41:26.000 And these are areas for conservatives, I think, to start winning elections.
00:41:29.000 And you've seen it happening in Italy.
00:41:31.000 You're seeing actually all over Europe.
00:41:33.000 People say, well, you know what?
00:41:34.000 Actually, we can be welcoming of other people.
00:41:39.000 But we do have our own culture.
00:41:41.000 We do have our own identity.
00:41:43.000 And we're actually quite proud of it.
00:41:44.000 Yeah.
00:41:46.000 You know, we need to maintain that.
00:41:48.000 And if people are going to come in, you know, we want them to assimilate and to be part of that, not to fight it, to try and undermine it and try and change it.
00:41:57.000 And because, you know, that really, if you think about it, really, that was the miracle of America, that America was built with people coming in from all over the world.
00:42:06.000 But, you know, swearing that allegiance to the flag, taking American citizenship, being proud of it.
00:42:13.000 You know, America is the example.
00:42:15.000 So, Nigel, like the US, Britain is sending
00:42:35.000 Boatloads of ammunitions and weapons to Ukraine.
00:42:38.000 How long is that aid going to continue?
00:42:40.000 And how are we sure that it isn't leaving Ukraine and getting into the hands of the gangs that you're talking about that have invaded a lot of these borders and taken over these cities?
00:42:48.000 Or worse, you know, terrorists?
00:42:52.000 Well, look, I mean, you know, Ukraine is a very corrupt country.
00:42:55.000 We've known that for a long, long time.
00:42:58.000 And historically for 30 years, I've been one of those that questioned the ever eastward expansion of the European Union and NATO.
00:43:05.000 And I'm on record for saying that all the way through.
00:43:08.000 I didn't think we needed to give Mr Putin any reasons to go to war in any way.
00:43:13.000 But that's history.
00:43:15.000 We cannot for a moment defend Putin's actions in the last 18 months.
00:43:20.000 I think that's quite important that we say that.
00:43:23.000 There are contested regions, contested linguistic regions of Ukraine.
00:43:29.000 That is true.
00:43:30.000 It's not true for the West of Ukraine.
00:43:32.000 However, what has been remarkable to me is you give people in need support.
00:43:40.000 Yes, but that can't be endless.
00:43:43.000 It can't be unlimited.
00:43:44.000 It's not an open check.
00:43:47.000 And the point blank refusal
00:43:52.000 Of the Biden administration and the British government, and frankly, with outside aid, we're the only two that matter, as we've been in Afghanistan, Iraq and all these other areas.
00:44:05.000 The point blank refusal to even contemplate a negotiation around peace is what has really, really puzzled me.
00:44:14.000 And I've begun to think that Eisenhower in the 50s was right.
00:44:18.000 When he identified the military industrial complex, it is actually in the interests of many big industrialists for this war to go on as long as possible for taxpayer money to be sent to these companies to produce the javelins and all the rest of it.
00:44:35.000 So as I say, in moral terms, what Putin has done is wrong.
00:44:40.000 But what is even worse morally?
00:44:42.000 Is to go on prosecuting war without even discussing the option of a peace negotiation.
00:44:49.000 And I think for us, it's slightly different.
00:44:54.000 Because geographically, this isn't very far away.
00:44:57.000 But I think for America, I think regardless of administration, you know, you guys have pumped in already about 130 billion dollars.
00:45:05.000 It's crazy.
00:45:06.000 And I think the American public are going to grow increasingly weary of picking up this bill.
00:45:12.000 I hope so.
00:45:12.000 So I know you have a show to prepare for, but one last question I've got to ask, because people want to know about the future, right?
00:45:18.000 We gripe about what's going on currently, but they want to know about the future.
00:45:22.000 Brexit was one of the first major defeats of the establishment of the bureaucracy in the 21st century, perhaps the first.
00:45:32.000 What do you think will be the next major populist victory?
00:45:39.000 I think the next one will come.
00:45:40.000 Well, it could come in America in November 2024.
00:45:44.000 And I pray, you know, and hope that it does.
00:45:47.000 Because my goodness me, we need it.
00:45:49.000 There's a chap that you know even better than I do that's involved with that.
00:45:54.000 But I think there is a sea change going on in Europe.
00:46:02.000 A sea change that says this uber liberal agenda has failed people.
00:46:11.000 That we've put those that control us so far away from ordinary folk and ordinary families.
00:46:18.000 And I think you're beginning to see this happening.
00:46:21.000 It's happening in Hungary.
00:46:22.000 It's happening in Poland.
00:46:24.000 It's happening in Italy.
00:46:25.000 There are signs of it happening to some extent in Spain.
00:46:29.000 There are big signs of it happening in France.
00:46:32.000 So I think, I think what we call populism
00:46:38.000 Is becoming incredibly mainstream across the whole of Europe.
00:46:42.000 I think there is going to be a pushback against this crazy crackpot woke agenda this trans extremism and all the rest of these things.
00:46:50.000 So I think the tide is turning and I also would say on net zero.
00:46:55.000 This drive to net zero, which is fine in theory, but it just punishes the poor.
00:47:01.000 Yeah.
00:47:02.000 It's the poor that pay the bills for net zero.
00:47:04.000 Well, Bill Gates isn't causing pollution by flying everywhere on a huge private plane that could bring 75 people, but he's by himself because he's fighting for the right thing.
00:47:14.000 So it negates all of that.
00:47:16.000 And I mean, that's the hypocrisy we'll deal with forever as long as we allow it to continue.
00:47:20.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:47:22.000 Don, I think there is a realism.
00:47:25.000 Creeping back into the Western world.
00:47:27.000 The greater the threats, the more people are waking up.
00:47:29.000 And I, in my own little way in the last few weeks, highlighting the threat to our money from banks and government controlling it.
00:47:36.000 I hope I'm contributing towards that.
00:47:38.000 Listen, at the end of the day, good always triumphs over evil.
00:47:44.000 The difficulty is how long will it take?
00:47:47.000 Yeah.
00:47:48.000 Well said, my friend.
00:47:49.000 Well, thank you very much, Nigel.
