00:00:00.000 Hello, I'm Ian Lorry, this is Mad Max and today I'm going to show you the Galleon 650 Skydeck.
00:00:24.800 So let's take a look at this beauty, she's made in Poland, very innovative, huge glass windows and one of the main features of the boat are these retractable balconies which open out on either side, really amazing.
00:00:40.300 Let's come inside and take a look. One of the very unique features which I love about this boat are these sliding doors which open on either side that open up to the balconies.
00:00:50.800 This retractable window, this pop-up television so you can see television from the aft, there's also a huge television in the salon, it's really great.
00:01:00.800 You can have so many people just in this aft area and we haven't even gone forwards or upstairs.
00:01:06.800 It's going to be very interesting looking through this yacht today.
00:01:19.800 So how great is this? Check this out. You open up this huge window and then this opens up on both sides.
00:01:28.800 And now look, you're entertaining outdoors, indoors, what a cool concept. There's nothing like it that I've ever seen on a smaller yacht like this, it's really quite impressive.
00:01:38.800 I remember a long time ago, my boss sent me to Riga, which is in Latvia.
00:01:55.800 It was a very interesting place because it was still part of the USSR.
00:02:00.800 So I landed in Riga, I got escorted to the hotel, we're doing a transaction on a commercial vessel.
00:02:06.800 It was a million dollars, but that was a long time ago and a lot of money.
00:02:10.800 I had to send the money to a Russian bank. I didn't know how to send it properly without taking the boat.
00:02:16.800 So we ultimately went with some Russian KGB agents, I believe, they said they were businessmen.
00:02:21.800 We went offshore, we sent the money, I took the boat with the crew, I came back to Riga and we left.
00:02:29.800 I really did business with the KGB, but that was a long time ago. Let's come and check out this boat.
00:02:36.800 So one of the most important things when buying a yacht is how nice the master stateroom is.
00:02:42.800 This is a pivotal decision for the owner.
00:02:46.800 Whether his wife or girlfriend likes this, it has to be opulent, it has to be comfortable, it has to be quiet, it has to have a big vanity.
00:02:56.800 It has to have a nice bathroom, it has to have a lot of light and it really has to be comfortable.
00:03:02.800 And look at this area, it's so beautiful. I mean I really feel at home here, it's so laughing.
00:03:08.800 So it brings me to another memory sitting in a cabin like this.
00:03:20.800 I was making a deal on a 110 foot boat, I couldn't quite come to the right number.
00:03:25.800 We fought for a little bit and then the owner said to me, hey why don't you take my boat next door?
00:03:31.800 You can have that as your commission.
00:03:33.800 I looked out the window and go, oh, 60 foot profile Cherokee, that's worth a lot of money.
00:03:38.800 So I thought, deal.
00:03:40.800 Anyway, so I closed the deal, I was so happy I was going to get my commission, a 60 foot speedboat.
00:03:46.800 Go to start the boat, son of a bitch, one of the engines was blown.
00:03:51.800 Oh boy, but that's another story of Ian's dealings in yachts.
00:03:55.800 Let's go up to the Skybridge now and check it out.
00:04:01.800 So one of the nice things about this Skydeck is you've got so much light, so much glass.
00:04:06.800 Look through here, there's panels of glass everywhere, but also you've got huge air conditioning.
00:04:11.800 So it is very chilly in here.
00:04:13.800 One of the very nice features, which I love about this, is the flow through to the bow.
00:04:18.800 You can walk straight away from the aft deck, through the salon and onto the bow area,
00:04:23.800 where there's either sun pads or there's a table configuration for eating.
00:04:27.800 There's so much usable space on this yacht, it's incredible.
00:04:30.800 Let's come and check this out.
00:04:32.800 This is so cool, you don't see anything like this on any yachts of this size or even larger.
00:04:37.800 So when you come out of this expansive opening from the main salon, you walk out onto this deck area,
00:04:44.800 which doubles up as a dining area.
00:04:47.800 And these retract down, they're electric into two sun beds.
00:04:51.800 What a great concept. This is really utilising space to its maximum.
00:04:55.800 Are you kidding? Look at this carbon fibre retractable roof.
00:05:04.800 This Galleon 650 has it all.
00:05:07.800 I'm going to leave you with two things today.
00:05:09.800 One, turn the fucking keys before you sign the papers.
