Transcript

00:00:00.000 Disney was losing $4 million a day on YouTube TV dispute.
00:00:07.140 Do you know what $4 million a day is?
00:00:10.020 $4 million a day is $1.2 billion a year, give or take.
00:00:14.020 $1.5 billion a year.
00:00:15.540 $4 million a day.
00:00:16.680 Can you imagine that?
00:00:17.440 That's real money that you're going through, right?
00:00:20.320 So they're going back and forth.
00:00:21.560 They're doing this dispute.
00:00:23.080 Rob, is this the whole thing about them figuring it out?
00:00:25.620 Yep.
00:00:25.740 Go ahead, Rob.
00:00:27.440 Good news for sports fans.
00:00:28.880 Disney and YouTube TV tonight reached a new deal to bring Disney-owned channels back to the Google-owned live streaming platform.
00:00:35.740 Disney had polled its channels October 30th in a dispute over how much YouTube TV would pay it to carry its networks.
00:00:42.700 Under the new agreement, YouTube TV subscribers will have access to all ESPN networks, ABC, Disney-branded channels, Freeform, the FX networks, and the National Geographic channels at no extra cost.
00:00:54.840 The new deal is also expected to give YouTube TV subscribers access to ESPN's newly released direct-to-consumer app.
00:01:02.120 Wow.
00:01:03.480 So who won here, Tom?
00:01:05.800 Who won here?
00:01:06.820 Neil Mohan absolutely posterized Disney because now the YouTube TV subscribers, hey, it's all over.
00:01:19.680 Disney's back on, and you can get this, and you can get this, and your YouTube TV price isn't going up.
00:01:26.180 So either Mohan got at an unbelievable discount and then decided, hey, it's such a discount, maybe we don't need to raise rates.
00:01:34.560 We'll eat a little of it here, right?
00:01:36.720 It's the same thing that you used to do when insurance companies would behave badly, right?
00:01:42.540 We would say, hey, you know what, we'll take a little, they'll do a little, you know, things like that, health insurance.
00:01:47.300 I'm not speaking about life insurance in the old company.
00:01:49.600 I'm talking about when we used to negotiate for health insurance.
00:01:51.680 Remember that?
00:01:52.320 And sometimes they would give us, you know, a slap in the head on premium, and we would try everything we could negotiate,
00:01:58.580 and then we would say, you know what, we're not passing that on other employees.
00:02:01.560 We're going to eat that one.
00:02:02.880 So Mohan may have done that, but I think what happened here is Disney just got posterized.
00:02:08.260 They pulled everything off the air, and they said, so there, you don't get our content.
00:02:13.460 And YouTube was like, is that all you got?
00:02:17.100 You know, it's like you hit a guy in a bar, and your fist bounces off his jaw,
00:02:21.740 and he just kind of looks at you and touches his jaw, and you have three words, this is going to hurt in your head.
00:02:28.640 And that's what happened.
00:02:30.240 And YouTube TV ends up, you know, winning.
00:02:33.340 The subscribers of YouTube TV don't pay more money, and they get more stuff.
00:02:37.740 First of all, now, Tom, I don't know why you do this to yourself every time,
00:02:40.820 and you reveal unnecessary information to the public for the amount of bar fights you got in your life.
00:02:45.620 Never do that.
00:02:46.500 Why do you tell that kind of stuff to people?
00:02:48.300 He'd wear a leather jacket.
00:02:49.280 They look at you right now as a good Christian father.
00:02:50.860 Well, it was part of when he was part of the Bloods and Crips.
00:02:52.800 It was that whole deal.
00:02:53.940 It was not Bloods and Crips.
00:02:54.900 We're just glad that he's on our team now.
00:02:56.320 It was not Bloods and Crips.
00:02:57.460 It was called Whites.
00:02:58.480 He used to be part of the Whites.
00:02:59.720 The Whites.
00:03:00.920 The Whites.
00:03:01.860 No.
00:03:02.640 I pity the fool that would mess with me.
00:03:04.400 Yeah, but you know, when you hear a story like this, you know what it comes down to?
00:03:08.720 Bob Iger should resign.
00:03:10.040 Bob, move on.
00:03:11.700 Bob Iger should resign?
00:03:12.900 He should resign.
00:03:14.020 I gotta say shocking.
00:03:14.720 He should move on.
00:03:15.920 He just got brought back.
00:03:17.160 Yeah, he should have stayed away.
00:03:18.220 He should resign.
00:03:19.720 Go away.
00:03:20.940 Sit on the board.
00:03:22.260 Done.
00:03:23.280 Move on.
00:03:24.380 That's a trillion-dollar company.
00:03:26.620 That's a $200 billion company because of the operator and the board.
00:03:31.960 Move on.
00:03:33.280 Go to the next phase.
00:03:35.300 Disney is another one of those companies that shouldn't be a $200 billion company.
00:03:39.220 The amount of companies that they own and the flywheel that they have, how the hell is that not a trillion-dollar company?
00:03:45.420 You ever seen Disney's flywheel?
00:03:46.980 Can you tap in Disney's flywheel, Rob, and go to images?
00:03:49.760 Go to which is the one that we want.
00:03:52.060 Go to that one.
00:03:52.640 Zoom in a little bit.
00:03:53.580 Look at this here.
00:03:54.300 Holy moly.
00:03:54.780 Zoom in a little bit more, Rob.
00:03:56.060 Go a little bit more.
00:03:57.280 Go a little bit more.
00:03:58.280 Look at their flywheel, what they own.
00:04:00.520 I wish you could see what companies they own.
00:04:02.100 People don't even have to come.
00:04:03.280 People don't know 80% of the companies that they own.
00:04:05.760 I can't even see that far.
00:04:07.080 This is their flywheel, and they're not a trillion-dollar company.
00:04:11.320 They are such an undervalued asset, and the only reason they won't get to a trillion dollars is because they've got to change the board.
00:04:18.300 They've got to change the CO ASAP, and it doesn't look like it's going to be happening because there were a couple guys that were fighting to get into the board, and they didn't support them.
00:04:27.680 They kicked them out, and the board sided with Bob Iger, which was horrible for shareholders, and it wasn't good for the viewers.
00:04:36.360 But a good day will come when Bob respectfully resigns.
00:04:40.820 You've done a lot for this company.
00:04:42.720 Kathleen Kennedy's done December 31st of this year.
00:04:45.520 Bring a couple conservatives to your board.
00:04:48.240 Bring a couple conservatives to your board.
00:04:51.120 I know you don't like it because you're all so woke.
00:04:54.040 You just finally got rid of DEI bullshit that you were dealing with.
00:04:58.140 Finally, you got rid of it.
00:04:59.680 But, oh, my God, bring a couple conservatives to your board.
00:05:02.320 By the way, do you know what's a big-ass announcement for Disney to make?
00:05:06.760 What's that?
00:05:07.200 How many board members do they have, Rob?
00:05:08.600 Can you pull up?
00:05:09.200 Just type in Disney's board, board of directors.
00:05:12.880 Yevon, what is it?
00:05:14.180 Let's see.
00:05:15.440 It can't be 10 because that's an even number.
00:05:17.980 But, okay, let's say they got.
00:05:21.140 What's the number, Rob?
00:05:21.920 What I'd want to know is how many of those guys are conservatives?
00:05:24.900 How many of Disney's board of directors, how many of Disney's board of directors are conservatives leaning?
00:05:36.300 I'm going to say none.
00:05:37.300 Oh, it's probably none.
00:05:38.860 By the way, the conservative that they have would be like a rhino.
00:05:43.900 Yeah, it's like the girl from the view on where they would be.
00:05:47.320 Like how much money was given to.
00:05:50.100 Leadership at Disney, executive end board, 908 given to Republicans versus 2.8 million given to Democrats.
00:06:00.840 So out of $3.7 million, what's 3.7?
00:06:03.720 2.8 divided by 3.7 is what?
00:06:05.900 3 to 1?
00:06:07.380 Is that what it says?
00:06:08.360 It's a little more than 3 to 1 because 9 times 3 would be 27, right?
00:06:11.420 Let me do it by 37.
00:06:12.520 It's 76%.
00:06:13.780 76% is liberal.
00:06:17.280 Why don't you get it 60-40 liberal?
00:06:19.420 Still control your political leanings that you want.
00:06:21.460 No problem.
00:06:22.680 Well, who do you think consumes your product?
00:06:25.400 More liberals or conservatives?
00:06:27.080 What do you think?
00:06:28.880 Who's more pro-family?
00:06:30.940 And your parks are getting their asses handed to them anyways.
00:06:34.300 So why not bring a couple board members?
00:06:36.920 We can have a 20-name list to give to you to consider to have it on.
00:06:41.780 Why they don't do it, I have no idea.
00:06:43.840 By the way, imagine if that announcement comes out.
00:06:47.020 Say Disney makes an announcement.
00:06:48.680 We have agreed to add the following three people to the board.
00:06:52.420 How would conservatives react?
00:06:54.400 Actually think about it.
00:06:56.100 What would happen?
00:06:57.580 Finally.
00:06:58.700 Yeah, you think you would be like, all right, so there's some reasonable voices in there.
00:07:02.220 Hey, Bob, we are pro-family.
00:07:04.300 I grew up watching Disney cartoons in Iran, in Farsi.
00:07:10.260 That's how we watched it.
00:07:12.100 Sleeping Beauty, in Farsi.
00:07:15.480 Okay?
00:07:15.980 All the cartoons, in Farsi.
00:07:18.740 Pro-family people want Disney to go back to being normal again.
00:07:23.800 And you simply don't want to do it yet.
00:07:25.500 Hopefully you will.
00:07:26.540 It's an undervalued asset that should be a trillion-dollar company
00:07:29.780 if it was operated by somebody else
00:07:31.500 where they understood the family value.
00:07:35.240 Family values.
00:07:36.120 Not getting rid of DEI because BlackRock and the glass and, you know,
00:07:40.860 all these ISIL, what is it, ISSI.
00:07:44.140 These guys no longer require ESG scores like they did five years ago.
00:07:48.560 You're a follower.
00:07:49.460 You're not a leader.
00:07:51.020 It's disappointing.
00:07:52.500 It's a very disappointing story here with a great brand.
00:07:55.120 Simply removing emotion from this conversation,
00:07:58.860 if you just do FTM, follow the money,
00:08:01.840 Disney's stock has sat in neutral for the last decade.
00:08:05.280 If anything, they're actually...
00:08:06.320 It won't change until he leaves.
00:08:07.080 They're negative 1% over the last decade, their stock.
00:08:12.260 So if you're just following the money and say this is a publicly traded company
00:08:16.660 and our goal is to bring value to the shareholders,
00:08:19.180 like every publicly traded company,
00:08:21.340 and you're net negative over a decade,
00:08:23.480 and your name is Disney?
00:08:25.400 Brian Nickel...
00:08:25.860 Some people need to get fired.
00:08:26.580 Brian Nickel would take this thing to a $2 trillion valuation in 10 years.
00:08:30.240 My opinion.
00:08:31.480 My opinion.
00:08:32.880 Brian Nickel, which you're not going to get because he's at Starbucks,
00:08:35.660 he would take this thing to a $2 trillion valuation within a decade.
00:08:38.780 But you're not going to get him because Starbucks got him.
00:08:40.740 I'd like to make an announcement.
00:08:41.960 Folks, we're doing something crazy.
00:08:44.080 And let me tell you what this crazy thing is.

00:12:16.440 the Public Speaking Course, the PVD Sales System, the Business Planning Workshop,
00:12:20.820 all the recording Bundle, $997, right?
00:12:24.500 Of course, these are from previous.
00:12:25.920 We never do that.
00:12:27.240 But you got a Bundle there for $997.
00:12:28.880 And then you got the shoes.

00:12:42.960 Yesterday, I went to the sushi spot.
00:12:44.160 I'm ordering sushi.
00:12:44.920 He says, I ordered the three Yeti future looks bright items that were on,
00:12:48.700 which was great seeing the guy at the Kaizen.
