00:00:00.000 You know, some people have called Joe Biden, Jimmy Carter 2.0, but today we're going to
00:00:03.520 take a deep dive to see if there's any patterns, any trends, any commonalities, and any differences.
00:00:14.100 All right, so let's get right into it. Look, one thing you need to know is I'm in America
00:00:17.040 because of Jimmy Carter, because in 1977, December 31st, President Carter went to Iran
00:00:22.040 and he had a toast with the Shah, and everything was great. It was, Iran's a friend of U.S.,
00:00:27.680 they're a friend of ours, and then they leave. Then Khomeini comes in to revolt his people,
00:00:31.860 nine million people, revolution in Iran. Shah's folks are calling Carter for help, Kissinger for
00:00:37.760 help. At first, they say, we got your back. Don't worry about it. Last minute, Kissinger and Carter
00:00:42.600 says, we can't help you. Nobody comes to help Iran. Iran falls. Shah's in exile. Khomeini comes in in
00:00:48.560 February. Nine years later, we escape Iran and go to Germany at a refugee camp and eventually come
00:00:53.360 out of here. So President Carter, because of him, I'm in the United States. Having said that,
00:00:57.340 there's a little bit of history here with me and the Carter administration. Well, let's get right
00:01:01.020 into it. So we got Carter, we got Biden. 39, 46, okay? Former peanut farmer, Carter, former governor
00:01:08.120 of Georgia, Biden, 51 years, politician. That's what he's done, okay? Electoral votes, when he won,
00:01:14.320 he got 297 votes. He got 306. Total votes, Carter got 40.8 million. We all know Biden's the most
00:01:23.260 popular president ever. He got 81 plus million votes, according to data. Carter ran once for
00:01:29.520 president. Biden ran for president three times. Once in 88, once in 2008, and once in 2020, and that's
00:01:36.160 when he won. So now we know their background. Now here's what makes these two very, very interesting.
00:01:41.780 Both of them are folks who were never seen as number ones. Meaning in 88 and 2008, when Biden ran,
00:01:49.480 nobody ever said, you know, he's going to be a president. They were never seen as number ones.
00:01:53.840 They were both good number twos, number fours, number fives, number sixes, never number one.
00:01:57.840 However, Carter comes right after Watergate. Nixon, big personality, Watergate happens, boom,
00:02:05.100 beautiful opportunity. You know, next thing you know, Ford doesn't get reelected, Carter gets in.
00:02:10.780 Biden comes in post-Trump COVID. Crisis happens, oh my gosh, we don't want somebody like that.
00:02:16.640 We got to go complete opposite. So it's like a girl dating a guy who's a big personality,
00:02:22.840 you know, like McKenzie, she's married to Jeff Bezos. We're going to take over the world. She says,
00:02:26.240 I'm so sick and tired of dating a guy that wants to take over the world. I just want a school teacher,
00:02:30.120 right? We went from Trump to Biden. That's what we did as America. Same as here, right? Now let's
00:02:35.040 continue. Inflation. When Carter was president at first, inflation was 5.8%. By the time he was done,
00:02:41.760 it was 13 and a half percent. Now watch this. Here, we only have data for nine months. When Biden was
00:02:46.920 first president, January, 2021, inflation was only 1.4%. Just nine months later, it's 5.4%.
00:02:54.960 Not a year later, not two years later, not four years later, in only nine months, it's 5x nearly
00:03:01.720 inflation. So that's just inflation, right? Let's continue. Major foreign crisis and hostage situation.
00:03:07.480 During Carter, it was Iran. 52 American citizens were held hostage. The day Reagan is doing his
00:03:15.280 inauguration, Iran releases the 52 hostage. They're free. U.S., during Biden, Afghanistan,
00:03:22.580 which was an absolute mess that took place with the sequencing on how we left. Everybody wanted to
00:03:28.060 leave. But the way we left, where we left the city, we left the citizens first. And, you know,
00:03:31.900 the way we just made no sense how U.S. left. And then we left all that equipment for Taliban.
00:03:36.940 Major screw-up here. Major screw-up here. 52 held hostage. Some say there's 8,000 held in hostage.
00:03:44.080 I put the number 1,000, right? This is a massive, massive screw-up. We still don't know the side
00:03:48.680 effects of Afghanistan. We know the side effects of what happened in Iran when Iran went through
00:03:53.500 their mess. We don't yet know the side effects of what's going to happen here with Taliban and
00:03:56.880 Afghanistan. But there are major, major screw-ups in foreign policy. Next, gas prices. Carter, when he first
00:04:02.720 gets elected, it's 61 cents a gallon during that time. That's the absolute gas price of that time.
00:04:08.540 By the time he leaves, it's $1.25, which means it's a double. Now, here's Biden.
00:04:12.600 2020, gas prices are 2016. Today, October today, gas prices are $3.37. A city in California today,
00:04:21.100 gas prices are at $7.58. A city in Central Coast of California today, it's $7.58 per gallon. And this is
00:04:29.500 not even close to what inflation is doing right now. So we don't know what's going to happen with
00:04:32.340 gas prices, but we see the trends on where it's going. Approval rating. Carter, he was at 45.5%.
00:04:37.940 Lowest was 28.3%. Approval rating for Biden as of right now is at 38%. He's the lowest, I believe,
00:04:45.180 of the last five presidents minus Trump. Trump was slightly lower than he was, I think, around 35 or
00:04:49.720 34%, some number like that. Let's continue. Misery index, which is unemployment and inflation
00:04:56.580 combined together, okay? So misery index for Carter, 16.26%. Highest was 20%. For Biden,
00:05:04.440 when he got elected, it was only 7.7%. But nine months later, it's 11.3%. So it's gone up nearly
00:05:10.920 50% in just in nine months of misery index. Again, unemployment and you got inflation, right? So keep
00:05:17.440 this part of mind as well. The last few months, every month, they say, oh, we're expecting 540,000 new
00:05:21.860 jobs, 180. We're expecting 720,000 new jobs, 200. So it's a pretty scary thought on what's going on
00:05:27.980 with jobs as well. Next, a border mishap. When Carter was president on Cuba, he was trying to do
00:05:34.740 human rights because that was a big part of his campaign. So it's not fair, Castro, what you're
00:05:38.640 doing. And Castro outsmarted him. And he says, you want our people? No problem. We're going to let
00:05:43.100 people free. But here's how it's going to work. He opened up his prison. He let go of 125,000
00:05:49.560 prisoners he released into Miami. Miami's unemployment goes to 50% during that time.
00:05:56.080 It was a mess. And we know when you think about cocaine or certain things, you think about one
00:06:00.420 city, which is what? Miami. Major mishap with borders, Cuba. Now in U.S., today, mishap under
00:06:06.460 Biden, Mexico. Every single day, you're talking about what's going on with Mexico. He's not letting
00:06:11.840 political refugees that are coming here from Cuba, but he's okay with folks that are not coming in here
00:06:16.700 from, you know, Mexican border, whether it's, you know, some places are even open borders. They're
00:06:21.180 saying where people are just walking across. Now, both are conversations that are coming up on a
00:06:24.840 daily basis. Fed share, Carter gets bulker. He says, we got to get a hold of this inflation thing.
00:06:30.860 Biden has Powell today and not much has changed. I think Powell may be increasing interest rates here
00:06:36.560 very soon. Look, people say, you know, Biden's the Jimmy Carter two-point. I'm like, listen,
00:06:42.680 that sounds good, but I want to go do research. And then you see this and you're like, well,
00:06:46.700 I kind of see a lot of similarities with what's going on. Maybe neither one of them were, you know,
00:06:51.380 good number ones. Maybe they're both good men. I don't know, Biden. I've never had dinner with
00:06:55.420 him. I've never seen him around his kids. I don't know how he's as a grandfather. I don't know how
00:06:58.400 he's as a father. I don't know how he's as a friend. Neither do I know about Jimmy Carter,
00:07:02.320 but I've heard good things. I've heard good things about Carter. At least Carter lowered capital gains,
00:07:08.320 I think from 49% to like 25% because he was trying to save the economy. At least Carter tried to
00:07:14.500 deregulate many of these different industries. He was trying to say, look, we got to do something
00:07:18.460 with business owners because he was a former farmer, but Biden wants to increase taxes. So
00:07:23.260 if I'm trying to give a break here, but everything's going to even worse than what happened here. So we
00:07:30.380 just got to brace for impact because the reality of it right now is we have full data here. We know what
00:07:36.300 happens here. We don't have full data here. We only have nine months. We have another three years to
00:07:41.020 go to see what's going to happen and the verdict's out because he may turn it around. We don't know
00:07:45.560 that yet, but here's what we do know. You know what happened after Carter? Ready? 12 years of
00:07:51.700 Republican president. Eight years Reagan, four years Bush senior. We have no idea what's going to
00:07:58.180 happen here, but I can tell you the way things are going right now. This is a time for you to be
00:08:02.100 prepared in case the market crashes. This is a time for you to be prepared in case inflation goes
00:08:07.240 up. This is a time for you to actually study the market to find out how this can directly affect
00:08:11.820 you and the people you love the most. This is not a time to kind of say, oh, I don't need to know this
00:08:16.680 kind of stuff. It's probably the most important time to know what's going to happen to the economy
00:08:20.280 because one of these things flips in a major way. It affects everything else. And God knows we have a
00:08:26.920 lot of fake success going on in America right now. So that my recommendation to you would be
00:08:31.140 definitely study more about what's going on today because some things are about to happen on this
00:08:34.820 side. Having said that, if you liked the video, you got value from the video, give it a thumbs up,
00:08:38.980 subscribe to the channel. I got two other videos I want you to watch. One of them is the details of
00:08:43.440 inflation, how it works. If you've never watched videos on how inflation works, click over here.
00:08:47.640 And the other one is eight ways to prepare for an economic collapse. I did that video, I think a year
00:08:52.700 and a half, two years ago. If you've never seen that, click on this clip to watch that video. Take care,
00:08:57.500 everybody. Bye-bye.
