Trump and Putin meet for the first time in Alaska, and the first handshake is the most viral moment of the entire trip. The president and the world's largest nuclear power shake hands, and it's all caught on camera. Is this a good or bad move?
00:04:58.940There were some other things that Wyckoff was talking about that were discussed.
00:05:04.320And I think what got accomplished is that the world knows the path to peace in Ukraine goes through Donald Trump.
00:05:13.140And whether it's on his desk with the documents or it's the aid that he's pushing back, that's what got accomplished.
00:05:19.180Everybody in the world, including other world leaders, knows all – remember, Europe was trying – remember when they had the Zelensky incident in the Oval Office?
00:05:28.980Pat, do you remember what happened the next week?
00:05:31.100Zelensky went on tour of Europe, and they all hugged him one at a time and offered him aid.
00:05:35.740But it turns out the U.K. aid turned out to be debt against the Ukrainian citizens.
00:05:55.080The one thing, if I'm Trump, one of the biggest outcomes, I believe for him, top five – it could have been top three on his list, my opinion –
00:06:04.200is for Putin to say the war would have never happened if Trump was president.
00:06:09.640You have to know that was on top of Trump's list of a thing that he wanted Putin to say because it was a statement for Putin to validate what Trump kept saying during the election and the debate.
00:06:24.140If I was the president, the war would have never happened.
00:06:26.480Everybody's like, who the hell do you think you are and all this other stuff?
00:06:28.800And guess what the guy who started the war just said?
00:06:32.620I'd like to remind you that in 2022, during the last contact with the previous administration, I tried to convince my previous American colleague
00:06:43.180that the situation should not be brought to the point of no return when it would come to hostilities.
00:06:54.360And I said it quite directly back then, that it's a big mistake.
00:06:59.840Today, when President Trump saying that if he was the president back then, there would be no war.
00:07:05.380And I'm quite sure that it would indeed be so.
00:07:09.540I think that overall, me and President Trump have built a very good, business-like and trustworthy contact.
00:07:20.200And I have every reason to believe that moving down this path, we can come, and the sooner the better, to the end of the conflict in Ukraine.
00:07:30.560Okay, so for Putin to say if the president, if Trump was the president, war wouldn't have happened, that's like a slap in the face for the Democratic Party.
00:07:45.120And so as we're going through this, and Adam, I'm going to come to you next, when you see something like this happening, okay, Putin says what he says, okay?
00:07:52.980They meet, Trump does the showmanship, conversations are being had.
00:07:57.040But there's a lot of messages that nothing happened, this was a waste of time, you know, a lot of liberal media are saying all this stuff.
00:08:03.980There was even a moment when Rubio goes on Kristen Welker, I don't know which one it is, we'll show that here in a minute, but there's a lot of stuff that says, where are you at with this?
00:08:12.240What do you think was accomplished with this meeting?
00:08:13.900So, you know, you guys, we're talking about you went to see a movie this weekend?
00:08:20.180I never seen movies, but this is very reminiscent of a mafia movie.
00:08:23.820And it's almost like the Godfather, you got Don Trumpino out here, he's the mafia boss of America.
00:08:29.780You got Putin, he's the mafia boss of Russia.
00:08:32.640And then you have Zelensky, he's just sort of low-level street boss that's caught up in the middle of this, almost like a pawn, and he's begging for protection.
00:08:42.760You got the EU and NATO, they're their own sort of bosses on their end, and they're basically not wanting to send their sons to war.
00:08:51.300So they're sending money, and they're sending military equipment, and they're selling weapons.
00:08:54.820And at the end of the day, this is a turf war.
00:08:57.440Trump understands what he's looking for.
00:09:09.800I know you mentioned the two global superpowers.
00:09:12.220I assume you meant by nuclear or weaponry superpowers.
00:09:16.200But China is where basically the U.S. wants to pivot.
00:09:18.800The sooner that we can get this deal done in Russia, the sooner we can figure this out, the sooner we can pivot to the big issue of our time, which is China.
00:09:59.36099% chance that nothing happens from that meeting.
00:10:03.560Before they ever walked in, it reset the global order of who's the alpha and the framework.
00:10:10.080And then the speech at the podium validates a fabrication and a falsehood, not a fabrication, but a falsehood, that the U.S. mainstream media was repeating almost like a synchronized chorus.
00:10:21.560So before we even get to the negotiating table and before Zelensky ever steps foot into Washington where you have all the folks of Europe, 99% chance nothing happened of it?
00:11:54.700It's almost as if they hope it all goes down.
00:11:56.860Brian Krasenstein, that really big, tough, muscular Krasenstein, who had his shirt off in the beach this weekend, he went online and said this, Pat, he said they should have snipers in Anchorage, Alaska, ready to take him down as soon as he shrugged.
00:12:11.700And look, what did he write at the bottom?
00:12:13.040Correction, we should poison him instead.
00:12:23.460But guess what, under U.S. law, it's illegal to publicly call for the assassination of a foreign leader.
00:12:29.060The Secret Service and FBI treat those kinds of statements seriously because it could create diplomatic problems.
00:12:33.720And I get you want to be clicks, you want to be that guy, but Pat, if you think about it, with that attitude, and this is the left, he, God forbid, they shoot and they hit Putin.
00:13:00.120This is irresponsible to make a comment like this.
00:13:02.300There's a lot of things that's going on right now in the marketplace.
