00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.660 Guaranteed human.
00:00:05.320 Senator, as always, nice to be with you here in person.
00:00:08.280 And if the White House thought the Hunter Biden plea deal
00:00:11.360 was going to get them a get-out-of-jail-free card,
00:00:14.260 clearly they are wrong as more whistleblowers are coming forward
00:00:17.720 and more damning information that's now making it to the podium
00:00:21.240 at the White House, and they're having a hard time
00:00:23.900 just walking all this back now.
00:00:26.080 Well, the White House and the Department of Justice
00:00:28.380 are in one mode right now, and that is Stonewall.
00:00:31.100 They are desperately trying to cover everything up.
00:00:34.180 They are simply running away, and it is bad.
00:00:38.080 The evidence is mounting and mounting and mounting,
00:00:42.440 and they don't have a substantive response.
00:00:44.440 They're not addressing it on the merits.
00:00:46.260 Instead, what they're hoping is that their lapdogs in the media
00:00:50.120 will continue to hide it for them.
00:00:52.100 It is getting so bad, even the corrupt corporate media
00:00:55.380 can't ignore this anymore.
00:00:57.040 But here, take a look at the Attorney General of the United States
00:01:00.560 and what he's saying.
00:01:01.420 I certainly understand that some have chosen
00:01:05.520 to attack the integrity of the Justice Department
00:01:08.460 as components and its employees
00:01:10.400 by claiming that we do not treat like cases alike.
00:01:14.840 This constitutes an attack on an institution
00:01:17.660 that is essential to American democracy
00:01:20.060 and essential to the safety of the American people.
00:01:23.700 Nothing could be further from the truth.
00:01:25.740 You've all heard me say many times
00:01:28.320 that we make our cases based on the facts and the law.
00:01:32.520 These are not just words.
00:01:34.220 These are what we live by.
00:01:35.520 They are the foundation of the way we make these decisions.
00:01:38.380 The agents of the FBI, as well as the DEA, the ATF,
00:01:42.260 our deputy U.S. Marshals, every day, often at great personal risk,
00:01:48.660 protect the American people and secure its safety.
00:01:52.360 Our cases are based on their work.
00:01:55.060 I could not be more proud to work with them.
00:01:57.520 Senator, you predicted this.
00:01:59.220 You said they were going to indict Hunter Biden,
00:02:01.480 and then they were going to say,
00:02:02.640 see, look at how fair we are as we go after Donald Trump,
00:02:05.820 and we have no bias in the agency.
00:02:08.640 That's clearly, though, not the case.
00:02:10.080 Well, let me be clear.
00:02:11.300 As I listen to that press conference, it's infuriating.
00:02:17.440 Merrick Garland says you're impugning the integrity of the Department of Justice.
00:02:20.720 Now, let me be very clear.
00:02:22.180 It's your integrity.
00:02:23.320 It's Merrick Garland's integrity that is missing.
00:02:27.300 He is the one who has politicized this process,
00:02:30.100 and he is the one who is burning the integrity of the Department of Justice to the ground.
00:02:34.820 And by the way, the people accusing him are his own damn employees.
00:02:38.680 The whistleblowers work for him, and they're coming forward mad,
00:02:43.880 saying, why is this man turning the Department of Justice into a political arm for the DNC?
00:02:51.040 That self-righteous,
00:02:53.740 if you dare question me, you are disloyal.
00:02:59.100 I look at that, and I see Louis XIV, the Sun King.
00:03:07.380 L'etat c'est moi.
00:03:08.540 I am the state.
00:03:09.780 I am justice, he tells you.
00:03:13.200 The words he's saying are objectively false.
00:03:15.520 We use the same standards for everyone, whether your name is Trump or Biden.
00:03:19.460 Well, okay, if your name is Biden, you can have classified documents everywhere.
00:03:22.560 You can stick them next to your Corvette.
00:03:23.800 No big deal.
00:03:24.460 We don't care.
00:03:25.080 But if you're Trump, we're sending in the stormtroopers.
00:03:27.720 By the way, they do the same thing, as we've discussed at length on verdict.
00:03:32.520 If you're violating the law, committing federal crimes outside the homes of a Supreme Court justice we don't like,
00:03:37.580 we don't enforce the law.
00:03:38.620 Why?
00:03:39.300 Because we agree with the violent protesters, and we don't like the justices,
00:03:42.300 so our politics are on this side.
00:03:43.660 On the other hand, if you're a pro-life protester, my goodness, you are the greatest terrorist threat to humanity,
00:03:50.500 and we are going to send the stormtroopers at your house like they did with Mark Houck at the break of dawn with machine guns drawn.
00:03:59.660 Every word he said there is a lie, and the self-righteousness with which he says it.
00:04:07.300 Ben, I got to say it's time.
00:04:08.660 It is time the Department of Justice needs to appoint a special counsel to investigate Merrick Garland for obstruction of justice and perjury.
00:04:25.320 Wow.
00:04:25.460 Now, there's a reason he's saying don't ask these questions.
00:04:30.300 Let's be clear.
00:04:31.280 It is his integrity, and I want to walk through it because that is a very serious statement.
00:04:36.900 But at this point, the evidence that Merrick Garland personally committed multiple felonies is growing greater and greater,
00:04:45.720 and the chances that the Merrick Garland Justice Department will fairly investigate evidence of his wrongdoing are zero.
00:04:54.300 So let's walk through it.
00:04:56.600 On perjury, let's remember the start of the IRS whistleblower.
00:05:05.640 It concerned an allegation that Merrick Garland himself had committed perjury.
00:05:10.240 So, Gary Shapley, the first IRS whistleblower who wrote to Congress.
00:05:17.940 I want to read from his prepared statement in Congress.
00:05:20.660 Beginning in January 2020, I was assigned to work the Hunter Biden investigation as a supervisory special agent for IRS criminal investigation, U.S. Department of Treasury.
00:05:32.080 So this is not some Republican.
00:05:34.620 This is not some partisan.
00:05:36.520 This is a career supervisory special agent for the IRS criminal investigations.
00:05:43.000 What did he do?
00:05:43.560 He supervised line agents investigating Hunter Biden until I continued in that role until I was removed from the investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice.
00:05:58.880 That's Merrick Garland in May of 2023.
00:06:02.220 So just two months ago after providing protected disclosures concerning prosecutors mishandling of the investigation of Hunter Biden to include conflicts of interest, preferential treatment, deviations from normal investigative procedures,
00:06:18.920 and conflicting information provided by Attorney General Merrick Garland to Congress.
00:06:24.540 Now, understand what he's saying.
00:06:26.220 He came forward as a whistleblower to say Merrick Garland just committed perjury, lied under oath to the United States Congress.
00:06:33.920 In response, what did Merrick Garland do?
00:06:36.320 Had him removed from the case, immediately retaliated, which is in and of itself illegal and part of what the special counsel needs to investigate.
00:06:44.100 Now, this whistleblower continues.
00:06:48.880 Most recently, former Attorney General Bill Barr provided an interview in which he stated that the information provided by a confidential human source concerning an alleged illegal bribery scheme by President Joe Biden was received through the Pittsburgh U.S. Attorney's Office
00:07:08.300 and was determined it was not likely to have been disinformation.
00:07:16.860 This is a big deal.
00:07:18.020 Yeah.
00:07:18.220 That they made a determination, okay, this is not likely, Russian disinformation or something else.
00:07:24.340 In other words, there could easily be some there there.
00:07:26.880 According to Attorney General Barr, it was provided to the ongoing investigation in Delaware to follow up on and to check out.
00:07:38.180 Now, he continues, neither I nor the line IRS criminal investigation agents operating under my supervision nor the FBI agents working with IRSCI were ever provided the confidential human source information the Attorney General Barr recently referenced was sent to Delaware to have it checked out.
00:07:59.540 He goes on to say the confidential human source information was concealed by prosecutors, by people working for Merrick Garland.
00:08:09.840 They said, we don't want the FBI agents to see this.
00:08:11.980 We don't want the IRS to see this.
00:08:14.400 That on the face of it, by the way, we also have a letter from quite recently, from June 19th, 2023.
00:08:23.220 It's an interview of Whistleblower X.
00:08:25.680 We don't know who Whistleblower X is.
00:08:27.320 That's the anonymous pseudonym.
00:08:29.540 But Whistleblower X confirms, in particular, as Mr. X has testified, he was the IRS criminal investigation's case agent over the subject investigation at the time.
00:08:45.700 In other words, investigating Hunter Biden.
00:08:48.140 And Mr. X has stated to me that he has never seen this FBI Form 1023.
00:08:54.980 And that he does not recall ever hearing about this information being turned over in any meeting with the prosecution team in Delaware.
00:09:03.500 Further, Mr. X informed me that this information could have been relevant to Mr. X's investigation at the time of the subject,
00:09:12.580 as it related to a claim of $5 million being paid to the subject, which directly ties to email correspondence reviewed between subject and a business partner of subject set in May of 2014,
00:09:27.420 which is believed to reference the $5 million being paid to the subject, which is believed to reference the $5 million being paid to subject from company XXX.
00:09:35.540 It's shocking.
00:09:37.180 When you put it all together the way you're describing it, what Merrick Garland has clearly, I think, done or tried to accomplish by covering it up and making this go away.
00:09:47.020 And this on top of the fact that this week we had other people that were also saying, hey, there was this idea that in Delaware the prosecutor had the ability to do whatever he needed to do
00:09:55.740 and to charge anybody with whatever he needed to charge him wherever he needed to.
00:09:59.580 Then there was word that came out this week from others saying, no, we weren't allowed to do that.
00:10:03.020 That's what Merrick Garland allegedly lied about.
00:10:05.200 Right.
00:10:05.420 So Merrick Garland told Congress actually in response to a question from yours truly, it would be me, that he lied to under oath.
00:10:13.820 Walk people down that road, the question that you asked, so people understand what you were trying to get to at that point.
00:10:18.320 Well, here, I'll tell you what, we'll do better than that. We'll play it right now.
00:10:21.500 Let me say in particular on Hunter Biden, I very much hope that an investigation of Hunter Biden is focused not just on his own personal substance abuse issues,
00:10:32.460 but on connections to his father and potential corruption.
00:10:36.620 That is the matter of public concern and why people are concerned.
00:10:40.760 It was striking that the leak that came out from DOJ suggested this is just going after some poor, poor person struggling with drugs instead of looking at the very real evidence of corruption.
00:10:52.320 Will you commit that the investigation will actually examine the public corruption aspect and not simply scapegoat Hunter Biden as an individual?
00:11:03.440 I can't comment about the investigation other than to say that all the matters involving Mr. Hunter Biden are the purview of the U.S. attorney in Delaware.
00:11:13.280 It's not restricted in his investigation in any way.
00:11:16.260 So you look at that there when you were asking that question, based on now we have, you're saying it's pretty fair to say he probably just flat out lied to you and to Congress under oath.
00:11:25.220 Well, that's what the whistleblower has alleged, that he did lie to me, to Congress under oath.
00:11:31.840 And to be clear, lying, he started that testimony by raising his right hand, taking an oath, tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
00:11:39.080 So help me God. If that statement you just saw was a lie, that the statement that there's no political interference from DOJ in the investigation of Hunter Biden, that is a criminal offense with serious jail time.
00:11:52.740 It's yet another reason why I believe it is time for a special counsel.
00:11:56.300 And let's be clear, a special counsel with real credibility, not a henchman of Merrick Garland who's going to give him a sanitized report, but someone who will actually investigate.
00:12:05.840 Because at this point, it is the it is the attorney general directly who is implicated in this and his conduct, his absolute hubris.
00:12:18.140 How dare you question me?
00:12:20.160 And let me say something about the Delaware U.S. attorney.
00:12:24.340 So a lot of folks in the corporate media keep saying, well, it's a U.S. attorney appointed by Donald Trump over and over again.
00:12:30.220 They always lead with that.
00:12:31.840 Now, that dramatically overstates the situation.
00:12:37.040 I don't know, Mr. Weiss.
00:12:38.100 I don't know.
00:12:38.560 I don't know anything about him.
00:12:40.120 His background, he was a career prosecutor.
00:12:43.560 What I can tell you is how U.S.
00:12:45.220 attorneys are picked, which is U.S.
00:12:47.540 attorneys are picked essentially by the senators from that state.
00:12:51.480 In other words, the Delaware U.S. attorney was picked by Tom Carper and by Chris Coons, both of whom are Democrats, pretty liberal Democrats.
00:13:01.940 And by the way, Delaware is also the home to Joe Biden, who is the closest to a political king in a tiny state of Delaware.
00:13:12.780 Joe Biden is the colossus that bestrides tiny little Delaware.
00:13:18.740 You know, my mom was born in Delaware, Wilmington, Delaware.
00:13:22.680 Her mother was the second youngest of 17 kids.
00:13:26.460 Wow.
00:13:27.160 They were Irish Catholic.
00:13:28.700 You know, as I like to joke, they didn't know what else to do on a Saturday night.
00:13:31.220 When I was first sworn into the Senate 2013, Joe Biden swore me and he was he was the vice president at the time.
00:13:41.620 And I introduced my mom to him and my mom told him, said, oh, I have hundreds of cousins in Delaware.
00:13:49.720 And Biden smiled and said, oh, they probably all voted for me.
00:13:54.120 And it was actually it was charming the way he did.
00:13:55.860 It was and my mom laughed and she sort of rolled her eyes and said, yeah, they probably did.
00:13:59.700 But the point is, this U.S. attorney was handpicked by two Democrat senators.
00:14:07.620 So every time the reporters say a Donald Trump U.S. attorney, the way it works, you can't advance it without the senator signing off.
00:14:14.640 And so.
00:14:15.120 So, OK, to be clear, a lot of people understand this is inner workings.
00:14:18.060 I love doing the show for this reason.
00:14:20.020 Any state in America, you've got an attorney you're going to pick.
00:14:23.040 If the two senators say no to that, it's dead.
00:14:25.920 It's dead in the water.
00:14:26.860 Yeah.
00:14:27.140 OK.
00:14:27.680 Yeah.
00:14:28.440 A lot of people have no.
00:14:29.340 So Trump said this is probably the best I can get out of Delaware from two Democrats.
00:14:35.000 So, look, there's nothing in his background that indicates that the guy is a wild eyed leftist.
00:14:41.080 Sure.
00:14:42.000 But he's not remotely a Republican either.
00:14:43.820 He's someone who had been a career prosecutor in a state like Delaware.
00:14:47.560 People know him.
00:14:48.640 I am certain he's a Democrat that you know that in that process.
00:14:52.760 Look, there are four U.S. attorneys in Texas.
00:14:54.660 I can tell you the U.S.
00:14:55.800 Attorneys for 11 years.
00:14:57.460 John Cornyn and I have been integral in selecting each and every one of them and giving those
00:15:03.440 names to the White House.
00:15:05.220 And that's true whether it's Republican or Democrat.
00:15:07.040 That's true for Trump U.S.
00:15:08.580 Attorneys.
00:15:08.940 It's true for Biden U.S.
00:15:10.080 Attorneys.
00:15:10.940 Now.
00:15:11.100 Is it a short list you guys give them or is it like basically saying, hey, this is who
00:15:15.480 we want.
00:15:16.700 Here's a name.
00:15:17.900 We think they're qualified.
00:15:19.200 You guys need to let this happen.
00:15:21.180 So it varies.
00:15:22.860 And different senators have more leverage than others.
00:15:26.820 Typically with Cornyn and I, we give them one name.
00:15:29.240 OK.
00:15:29.460 We hand the House one name and say, this is who you're going to be.
00:15:33.960 Now, look, they're different names.
00:15:37.300 Under Trump, Cornyn and I forwarded very different names than we do under Biden.
00:15:42.140 Sure.
00:15:42.960 Look, under Trump, there were some strong conservative U.S.
00:15:46.780 attorneys that Trump was was happy to appoint.
00:15:49.520 And we had really strong leadership for Texas U.S.
00:15:53.160 attorneys.
00:15:53.580 We're not going to appoint a a vocal, strong Republican conservative as as a U.S.
00:16:01.720 attorney nominee for the Biden White House.
00:16:03.520 That's that's.
00:16:04.000 But you're also not going to give him a hardcore Democrat.
00:16:06.360 Those are dead in the water.
00:16:07.660 Like if you're a hard partisan Democrat, you're not getting it.
00:16:11.200 That's the way the process work.
00:16:13.360 If Cornyn and I don't sign off, that U.S.
00:16:15.780 attorney doesn't go forward.
00:16:17.140 So we have an absolute veto on that.
00:16:19.160 The same is true for Tom Carper and Chris Coons, which means they both affirmatively signed off and said, this is our guy.
00:16:27.120 He's watered down enough.
00:16:28.960 He's enough of a Democrat that's on our team.
00:16:31.140 We're good with it.
00:16:33.280 I'm not saying that to impugn his integrity, but I am saying the repeated refrain that he's a Trump guy.
00:16:40.840 There's nothing in his background.
00:16:41.680 Implies that Donald Trump plucked him.
00:16:43.060 And there's nothing in his background to think that he has even one iota of fondness, loyalty.
00:16:51.200 There's nothing to suggest he ever voted for Donald Trump.
00:16:54.940 That happened to be the president who appointed him.
00:16:57.160 But for U.S.
00:16:58.700 attorneys, far more relevant is who are the senators.
00:17:00.700 What Garland told the Senate Judiciary Committee when I asked him is he said, I, the Sun King, the attorney general, will not interfere with this prosecution.
00:17:17.260 What we're seeing coming out of the House is a mountain of evidence that that's not the case.

00:19:15.540 Senator, I want to ask you one other question about these whistleblowers that are coming forward.
00:19:19.400 I think it needs to be stated just how brave they are.
00:19:21.980 Yes.
00:19:22.220 They're risking their careers.
00:19:23.940 I think many of them know that regardless of what the whistleblower rules say they're supposed to be under this administration, there's a very good chance their careers are completely going to be stonewalled, done, put into isolation, taken off the cases.
00:19:38.160 Which has already happened.
00:19:39.000 Which has already happened.
00:19:40.240 They're risking it all to come forward to you guys.
00:19:42.540 They are and we've seen and, in fact, the House has put FBI whistleblowers forward who have had their whole careers destroyed.
00:19:49.500 That these guys, Merrick Garland and the Biden Justice Department, have behaved like vicious partisans.
00:19:57.020 If you cross them, they will crush you.
00:19:59.180 They will destroy your career.
00:20:00.600 They will destroy your livelihood.
00:20:01.900 They've done it over and over again.
00:20:03.520 And I want to walk through some of the specific allegations these whistleblowers have put forward because they're incredibly damning.
00:20:09.780 Number one, they have alleged the Justice Department not once but twice prevented U.S. Attorney David Weiss from bringing stronger charges against Hunter Biden.
00:20:20.660 Now, let's be clear.
00:20:21.820 If that is correct, Merrick Garland committed perjury twice.
00:20:25.480 Wow.
00:20:26.160 So that's what they've alleged.
00:20:28.080 The Justice Department prevented the U.S. Attorney from bringing stronger charges twice against Hunter Biden.
00:20:34.680 That is directly contrary to what Merrick Garland testified under oath.
00:20:37.680 Number two, Merrick Garland refused to name a special counsel in the tax investigation.
00:20:44.740 Number three, the IRS recommended charges against Hunter Biden that were not approved by Merrick Garland.
00:20:54.380 So it wasn't just the U.S. Attorney's Office in Delaware saying we want to bring stronger charges.
00:20:59.220 It was the IRS saying we want to bring stronger charges.
00:21:02.120 And again, Merrick Garland, the Department of Justice, said, no, you can't.
00:21:08.080 Number four, and this is a really damning one.
00:21:11.540 The investigation forewarned Hunter Biden of future searches for materials that could be used as evidence.
00:21:20.500 So understand this.
00:21:21.440 They're executing search warrants.
00:21:23.420 They're looking for evidence of a crime.
00:21:25.540 And yet this administration gave a heads up to Hunter.
00:21:28.760 Hey, here's where we're going to go search before it happened.
00:21:32.940 By the way, that's called obstruction of justice.
00:21:35.140 That's why I believe Merrick Garland needs to be investigated for obstruction of justice, because you don't have the investigators tell the subject to the investigation.
00:21:42.080 Here's where we're searching for evidence.
00:21:44.520 Hint, hint.
00:21:45.140 If you have any evidence there, make sure to remove it.
00:21:49.300 Number five, an assistant attorney general named Leslie Wolf refused to allow the investigators to ask about Joe Biden being, quote, the big guy.
00:22:01.300 This assistant U.S. attorney needs to testify under oath.
00:22:04.040 If it is correct that this assistant U.S. attorney told investigators you are not allowed to ask about Joe Biden being the big guy.
00:22:15.220 Well, then that is directly contrary to what Merrick Garland testified under oath to Congress.
00:22:23.560 This same assistant U.S. attorney, according to the whistleblowers, told the investigation team they could not search Joe Biden's guest house in Delaware, which is where Hunter Biden was living, because of, quote, optics.
00:22:41.420 So at this point, they're just looking for, well, this would look bad politically for the president.
00:22:45.620 So never mind.
00:22:46.460 We're not really investigating crimes.
00:22:47.960 We're not following the law.
00:22:48.960 We're making sure we don't do anything that has bad optics for the president.
00:22:54.360 Another individual, Rob Walker, who is a Biden family associate, said Joe Biden showed up at a meeting with CEFC, which is a Chinese energy company closely affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party.
00:23:10.380 That Biden showed up personally there.
00:23:12.980 They also said that Hunter Biden demanded in 2017 to be paid by Chinese businessman Henry Zhao while Joe Biden was sitting next to him in a room.
00:23:33.900 And hold on to that one.
00:23:34.660 We'll come back to that one in a minute.
00:23:35.880 But they also revealed that Hunter Biden, on his tax return, deducted payments to prostitutes and employees and to sex clubs.
00:23:48.980 Yeah.
00:23:49.640 He claimed those were a country club.
00:23:50.900 Claimed those were business deductions.
00:23:52.080 Yes.
00:23:53.100 They also revealed that the investigation of Hunter Biden began as an offshoot into an inquiry into a foreign adult platform.
00:24:00.820 So, listen, there's lots of sorted stuff here.
00:24:05.200 But what is really sorted is corruption by the president of the United States.
00:24:09.840 And so I want to go back to the to the WhatsApp that was sent.
00:24:15.440 And this is big breaking news this week for people that maybe missed a verdict.
00:24:18.460 We talked about this.
00:24:19.380 Go back and listen.
00:24:20.140 But I want people to understand this WhatsApp text.
00:24:24.420 We have a copy of it.
00:24:26.220 It is Hunter Biden basically shaking down someone, demanding it and using his father saying he's sitting right next to me.
00:24:34.100 We're going to put it up on the screen.
00:24:35.740 You can see it on the screen.
00:24:38.280 This is if you didn't listen to Friday's pod, you should go back and listen to Friday's pod because it is all about this smoking gun evidence.
00:24:46.780 This WhatsApp sent by Hunter Biden to Henry Zhao says as follows.
00:24:54.140 I'm sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.
00:25:00.720 Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand.
00:25:05.320 And now means tonight.
00:25:07.440 And Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me, in other words, Joe Biden, and every person he knows, and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction.
00:25:30.420 I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.
00:25:37.680 The kingpin, the big guy.
00:25:39.560 This is as damning evidence of presidential corruption we've ever seen.
00:25:45.620 And it's worth remembering what Joe Biden said.
00:25:53.940 Here's what Joe Biden told the American people about whether he discussed business dealings with his son or was involved in business dealings with his son.
00:26:01.720 I have never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their businesses, period.
00:26:10.380 That was a lie.
00:26:11.060 If this WhatsApp is accurate, if this is a real document, and if Hunter Biden was telling the truth, then Joe Biden flat out lied, just like Merrick Garland is accused of perjury.
00:26:23.920 Joe Biden, that wasn't under oath, so that's not a felony.
00:26:26.460 That was just a lie to the American people on national television during a presidential campaign.
00:26:30.940 But if this WhatsApp is genuine, then Joe Biden lied to the American people.
00:26:38.840 Let me go back to the whistleblowers because we need to tie these together.
00:26:42.500 The investigators wanted to obtain location information to confirm that Joe Biden was in the room with Hunter.
00:26:53.900 Yeah.
00:26:54.340 So Hunter says, I'm sitting next to my father.
00:26:57.040 The investigators said, hey, we can figure that out.
00:26:59.160 Where was Joe Biden at the time?
00:27:01.060 We know when the WhatsApp was sent.
00:27:02.740 We know where Hunter was.
00:27:03.860 Where was Joe?
00:27:05.320 And at this point, it's not clear that the investigators were allowed to do that.
00:27:13.520 It appears that they may have been prevented from checking Joe Biden's location data.
00:27:20.020 All of this piled together, and by the way, that list comes from a very good article that Breitbart put together of 13 ways that this administration stonewalled and blocked investigation based on the whistleblowers.
00:27:36.480 And the point I make, look, I don't lightly call for a special counsel to investigate the attorney general of the United States for obstruction of justice and for perjury.
00:27:46.580 Have you ever called for that to happen against the AG?
00:27:48.840 No.
00:27:49.440 Yeah.
00:27:49.640 And given this, at this point, the evidence is overwhelming.
00:27:56.160 And, you know, Merrick Garland, if he were standing up saying these are very serious allegations, we need to come clean with the American people.
00:28:03.580 We need to disclose what happened.
00:28:05.320 We need each of the individuals who have testified to tell the American people what happened.
00:28:09.220 We need to clear the air.
00:28:10.480 We need to have absolute confidence in the Department of Justice.
00:28:14.540 If he was saying that, that'd be a very different story.
00:28:16.420 But he's not.
00:28:17.620 He is defiantly saying, you can't touch me.
00:28:22.300 It is.
00:28:23.460 While also saying that my employees are amazing, yet it's his own employees that are whistleblowing on his abuse of power.
00:28:30.460 Because he is so damaging the Department of Justice and so damaging the FBI that his own employees are outraged.
00:28:38.260 And look what it is doing to the White House.
00:28:40.800 This is a White House press briefing that's really astonishing.
00:28:43.880 Watch this.
00:28:45.280 The House Ways and Means Committee yesterday released documents, their Authenticity Nowhere Challenge.
00:28:52.040 That included a July 2017 WhatsApp message sent by Hunter Biden to Henry Zhao.
00:28:59.720 Here, pause for a second.
00:29:00.620 Communist Party official.
00:29:02.660 So I want to point out two things right now.
00:29:06.160 Number one, James Rosen is asking a great question.
00:29:08.560 Terrific journalist, one of the few journalists still doing journalism today.
00:29:11.500 He points out the WhatsApp content.
00:29:15.320 It's authenticity nowhere challenged.
00:29:18.740 Listen to that very carefully because you're going to see John Kirby doesn't challenge it either.
00:29:22.340 Nobody has challenged.
00:29:23.880 It could be a defense to say this is this is fraudulent.
00:29:27.700 This doesn't exist that if it's fraudulent, that would be a real defense.
00:29:31.900 But Rosen said, look, no one's doubting this thing's real.
00:29:34.640 That Hunter said exactly this.
00:29:36.380 By the way, exactly the same as the Hunter Biden laptop.
00:29:39.080 At no point did Hunter Biden say, no, no, no, it's not real.
00:29:42.300 And look at, actually, I want to rewind and play from the beginning.
00:29:48.340 This is right at the beginning of this clip.
00:29:49.520 I want to rewind and play from the beginning.
00:29:51.540 Look at John Kirby's face when Rosen brings this up because Kirby looks to the side like,
00:30:00.200 get me the hell out of here.
00:30:02.280 The look of terror.
00:30:03.740 And he's looking at the White House press secretary and her staff.
00:30:06.320 Yeah, Corrine Jean-Pierre.
00:30:07.320 I don't want a part of this.
00:30:08.760 You guys handle this.
00:30:09.940 Here it is.
00:30:10.280 It's amazing.
00:30:10.760 The House Ways and Means Committee yesterday released documents, their authenticity nowhere challenge.
00:30:18.200 That included a July 2017 WhatsApp message sent by Hunter Biden to Henry Zhao, a Chinese
00:30:26.760 Communist Party official, which stated in its entirety, and I quote, I am sitting here with
00:30:33.560 my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.
00:30:37.880 One, tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand
00:30:42.180 and now means tonight.
00:30:43.440 And Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the
00:30:48.320 chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person
00:30:52.680 he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge, that you will regret not following
00:30:58.240 my direction.
00:30:58.880 I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father, unquote.
00:31:02.720 So just a couple of questions about this.
00:31:05.440 First, does this not undermine the president's claim during the 2020 campaign and the reaffirmations
00:31:12.640 of that claim by his two press secretaries since then that he never once discussed his
00:31:17.620 son's overseas business dealings with him?
00:31:19.320 No, and I'm not going to comment further on this.
00:31:23.520 James, James, let me just, let me save you some, let me save, let me say, let me save
00:31:29.020 you some breath.
00:31:29.860 If you're going to ask about this, I am not addressing, I don't, I know you do more than
00:31:34.920 I'd like you to have.
00:31:35.940 I am not going to address this issue from this podium.
00:31:38.500 I'm just not going to do it.
00:31:39.880 I'm not going to do it.
00:31:41.780 Thank you.
00:31:43.500 Thanks guys.
00:31:44.280 Have a great weekend.
00:31:44.900 I mean, you can even see the White House press series, Luke, when she walks like, I'm walking
00:31:49.420 into this now.
00:31:50.180 You're handing this over to me.
00:31:51.480 So I got to say, when Kirby leaves the podium, I'm reminded of the great scene in Monty Python.
00:31:57.780 Run away!
00:31:58.980 Run away!
00:32:01.960 Let me ask one question in response to Kirby, which actually the reporters were calling out.
00:32:06.220 Why the hell not?
00:32:07.880 He says, I'm not going to answer it.
00:32:08.960 Why not?
00:32:09.500 Yeah.
00:32:09.920 Because it's hard?
00:32:10.980 Yeah.
00:32:11.180 Oh, you only answer the easy ones.
00:32:13.460 I'm not going to answer it.
00:32:14.900 We have evidence, and by the way, this was just put out by the chairman of the Ways and
00:32:18.160 Means Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives.
00:32:20.300 This is not some random guy on Twitter.
00:32:22.740 Yeah.
00:32:24.020 That it is the son of the president of the United States shaking down a Communist Party
00:32:31.080 official for millions of dollars, invoking his father, saying his father's sitting right
00:32:35.640 next to him and saying, Daddy is going to punish you if you don't give me the money.
00:32:41.640 And the White House's response is, I'm not going to answer it.
00:32:43.920 Why?
00:32:44.020 Because I don't want to answer it.
00:32:44.840 From this podium.
00:32:45.700 My question is, is there another podium they will answer these questions from?
00:32:48.740 It just, I don't want to answer.
00:32:50.600 I don't want to answer.
00:32:51.240 I mean, it, what the hell are you talking about?
00:32:54.920 There is serious evidence of corruption from the president.
00:32:59.540 You are giving a press briefing at the White House.
00:33:02.720 You're not asking about some random thing.
00:33:05.140 And his answer is just because I don't want to.
00:33:07.140 And in fact, there's one exchange where Rosen says, I have a lot more.
00:33:10.180 He's like, I know you do a lot more than I wish you did.
00:33:12.440 Yeah.
00:33:13.800 Dude, I'm sorry that the administration that you were willing to be a part of.
00:33:19.940 There's mounting evidence of corruption coming out and the administration is stonewalling
00:33:27.880 at every step.
00:33:28.640 But when you play Baghdad Bob and say, nope, not going to answer, not going to answer,
00:33:32.860 not going to answer.
00:33:34.220 There's no basis for not answering.
00:33:36.160 They're not asking you, can I have the nuclear codes?
00:33:38.340 That you could say, I'm not going to answer.
00:33:39.860 Yeah.
00:33:40.080 It's a national security reason.
00:33:41.080 I'm not going to tell you the nuclear codes.
00:33:43.160 Well, it used to be it was an ongoing investigation with Hunter, so we're not going to talk about
00:33:46.020 it.
00:33:46.360 Then it was a personal private family matter, so we're not going to talk about it.
00:33:50.240 There's one part of this that you could argue you should absolutely have to answer the question.
00:33:54.660 This is a Chinese, this has kind of been overlooked, but it's clear.
00:33:58.520 Yeah, and he's an admiral.
00:33:59.480 Right.
00:33:59.680 Kirby is an admiral.
00:34:00.740 Admiral.
00:34:00.840 Who spent most of his career speaking on behalf of the Department of Defense.
00:34:05.980 But go ahead.
00:34:06.740 No, you have a Chinese Communist Party official who's being shaken down by Hunter Biden and
00:34:12.340 his father sitting next to him.
00:34:13.960 So the idea that this could be private or a personal matter or doesn't involve the government
00:34:19.280 or doesn't involve the White House, all should be taken off the table.
00:34:22.780 This is a official member of the Chinese Communist Party, an official party official.
00:34:27.880 And Hunter is threatening official retribution.
00:34:30.580 From the U.S. government.
00:34:31.780 Yes.
00:34:32.700 So to be fair, at the time of the WhatsApp,
00:34:36.740 Joe Biden had just finished being vice president.
00:34:39.900 So he was not currently an office holder.
00:34:42.460 He was simply the immediate past vice president and fixing to be in a few years the next president.
00:34:47.900 So he had a lot of levers to pull, but he did not at that instant have official government
00:34:54.060 powered exercise.
00:34:55.120 So then this goes back to the question.
00:34:56.300 When this deal that was done, when this arrangement between this Chinese Communist Party official
00:35:02.820 happened, was he then the vice president?
00:35:05.480 Do we know that timeline?
00:35:07.720 Because it's a question that should be answered by the White House.
00:35:10.740 If the whistleblowers are accurate, then the investigators were not allowed to ask because
00:35:16.040 they weren't allowed to investigate the big guy.
00:35:18.260 This is all about we've got our scapegoat.
00:35:20.980 Our scapegoat is Hunter.
00:35:23.040 He's, you know, a poor, troubled substance abuse user.
00:35:26.400 And blame it all on him, but nothing about the big guy.
00:35:33.620 Protect the big guy.
00:35:34.540 Protect Joe Biden at all costs.
00:35:37.820 And I got to say, you know, what Merrick Garland said in that press conference, it actually
00:35:41.820 is accurate.
00:35:43.560 The Department of Justice has a long tradition of integrity, and integrity is important to
00:35:49.520 the rule of law in America.
00:35:50.620 I want the Department of Justice to be above reproach.
00:35:53.800 I want the FBI to be above reproach.
00:35:56.340 It's why I'm so angry.
00:35:58.500 Because Merrick Garland knows better.
00:36:01.180 When he lays down at night, there is a little still voice in the back of his head that he
00:36:06.120 knows he is lighting on fire an institution that has protected the rule of law, has protected
00:36:12.760 the Constitution, has protected our rights for decades.
00:36:19.340 And he's doing so.
00:36:22.860 I don't know why he's doing it.
00:36:25.040 Is it direction from the president of the United States of America?
00:36:27.200 Or is this, he just got so far off the beaten path of what legally he was supposed to do
00:36:33.440 in his job, that now he doesn't know how to come back?
00:36:36.740 Or is it going to be a combination of both?
00:36:38.800 Look, I genuinely don't know, and I don't want to play armchair psychologist, although
00:36:43.740 we're sitting in armchairs.
00:36:49.420 Some have speculated that when he didn't get the Supreme Court, and when the Senate didn't
00:36:53.640 take it up, that it just infuriated him.
00:36:56.760 Add me to that list.
00:36:58.580 Maybe that's it.
00:36:59.420 I don't know.
00:37:00.200 To be honest, I don't know the man.
00:37:03.100 I have never met Merrick Garland.
00:37:05.400 I've shaken his hand, I think, once or twice in a hearing room, but I don't know him.
00:37:11.300 When he was up for attorney general, he refused to come by the office to meet.
00:37:14.780 It was COVID.
00:37:15.740 And so he was like, no, no, no, because of COVID, I can't ask hard questions.
00:37:20.080 By the way, no other attorney general has done that.
00:37:22.180 And the Department of Justice nominees did that over and over and over again.
00:37:25.180 They used COVID.
00:37:25.840 COVID was great for the Bidens, wasn't it?
00:37:28.220 If you want to hide in a basement, COVID was a fabulous excuse.
00:37:32.640 So I'm sitting here.
00:37:34.700 He behaves as if he is utterly unaccountable to anyone.
00:37:41.540 And to be honest, that's the same way the White House is behaving.
00:37:45.360 John Kirby, what possible basis?
00:37:49.380 It's not a basis at a press conference to say, I'm not going to answer your question because
00:37:53.880 the answer would make me look really bad.
00:37:56.600 I don't want to because it's bad for the president.
00:37:59.020 And so, no, thank you.
00:38:00.860 Like, that's what he said.
00:38:02.180 Yeah.
00:38:03.140 Not, here are the facts.
00:38:05.220 Not, these are serious allegations.
00:38:07.680 Not, the WhatsApp is false.
00:38:11.100 Not, not anything.
00:38:12.420 It's just, I'm not going to tell you.
00:38:14.880 Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.
00:38:16.900 That's his response.
00:38:17.480 From this podium.
00:38:18.280 From this podium or any other podium.
00:38:19.580 Yeah.
00:38:20.300 I'm just, I want to find the other podium where he would ever answer this question.
00:38:23.760 I don't think it'll ever happen.
00:38:25.400 And that's where you have to get those questions answered.
00:38:28.020 My question for you is this.
00:38:30.380 What moves and what happens next when it comes to Congress dealing with him if more comes out
00:38:36.920 that he lied?
00:38:37.340 And before you answer that, I want to tell you about our friends at Patriot Mobile.
00:38:40.020 If you are sick and tired of giving your money to woke companies and you want to give your
00:38:46.020 money to companies that actually align with your values, one great way to do it is with
00:38:50.040 your cell phone.
00:38:50.800 Now, you may not realize that Big Mobile has been giving money for years.
00:38:53.880 We're talking about millions and millions of dollars to hardcore leftist organizations
00:38:58.520 that include Planned Parenthood.
00:39:00.660 That's where Patriot Mobile comes in.
00:39:02.700 Not only are the only conservative Christian conservative phone coming in the U.S., but they give you
00:39:07.260 amazing coverage.
00:39:08.380 You can keep your same cell phone number.
00:39:10.420 You can keep your same cell phone you have right now or upgrade to a new one.
00:39:13.620 And when you pay your bill every month, a percentage of that bill goes back to support the causes
00:39:19.140 that you want to stand with.
00:39:20.820 We're talking about the First and Second Amendment rights.
00:39:23.080 We're talking about standing up for unborn children, helping with adoptions, and standing
00:39:26.720 with our veterans and our first responders and our police.
00:39:30.640 Check out Patriot Mobile.
00:39:32.200 Give your money to a company that is aligned with what you believe in.
00:39:35.280 8-7-8-PATRIOT is the number.
00:39:38.160 That's 8-7-8-PATRIOT.
00:39:39.960 That's 8-7-8-PATRIOT, or PatriotMobile.com, slash verdict.
00:39:45.160 PatriotMobile.com, slash verdict.
00:39:48.100 Senator, moving forward with Garland, clearly the people that work for him have had enough
00:39:53.720 of him.
00:39:54.440 They think he's lied.
00:39:55.820 They're coming forward and whistleblowing on him and talking about how they're not allowed
00:39:59.600 to do their jobs, which for them I think is absolutely nonpartisan.
00:40:04.200 They just want to do their job and do what the law says.
00:40:08.200 That's why they're coming forward.
00:40:09.520 It's not a Republican that says, I'm a Republican, hear me out.
00:40:12.380 These are people that just want to do their job and go where the evidence would allow them
00:40:15.600 to go.
00:40:16.300 And he's throwing a wall and saying, you can't go there.
00:40:18.620 And they go this way.
00:40:19.340 And they go, you can't go there.
00:40:20.240 It's a maze that never ends.
00:40:22.420 So if this keeps mounting against him, where does this move with Congress next?
00:40:26.660 Look, it's going to continue to be the House of Representatives that drives this.
00:40:30.720 We've now got multiple committees that are investigating.
00:40:34.000 We've got the Ways and Means Committee.
00:40:35.640 We've got the Oversight Committee.
00:40:36.760 We have the Judiciary Committee.
00:40:38.240 They're going after and investigating.
00:40:39.760 And they need to keep driving this because the Senate doesn't care.
00:40:43.500 I'm going to press the Senate Judiciary Committee to do something on it.
00:40:46.620 And that will not succeed because Dick Durbin doesn't care.
00:40:50.060 There is not a single Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee who gives a flip.
00:40:53.880 They haven't asked a question about it.
00:40:56.480 This WhatsApp, I promise you, you're going to see me in the Senate Judiciary Committee
00:41:00.440 with the poster board of this WhatsApp behind me.
00:41:03.160 And I'm going to ask the Democrats about it.
00:41:04.640 And they're not going to respond.
00:41:06.220 Their response is going to be John Kirby's.
00:41:08.460 I'm not going to answer that.
00:41:09.360 But it's actually going to be better than John Kirby's.
00:41:11.000 They're simply, since they're not actually at a podium at a press conference, they'll just
00:41:14.900 ignore it.
00:41:15.720 They'll just be like, oh, look, look, squirrel.
00:41:17.960 They'll just talk about something totally different.
00:41:21.880 They are willing.
00:41:23.780 It doesn't matter what evidence there is about Joe Biden.
00:41:28.360 They don't want to talk about it.
00:41:30.840 An interesting question is, does there come a point where the corporate media has to?
00:41:35.120 I will tell you, for a long time, Hunter Biden laptop, all this stuff, the corporate media
00:41:42.200 ignored, I will say, as I was flying back to Texas, the, I think it was NBC News, was on
00:41:50.420 the TV in the airport.
00:41:53.120 And they were suddenly covering on the six o'clock news whistleblowers with allegations
00:41:59.340 of misconduct at the Department of Justice.
00:42:02.720 And it was the first time I had seen the corporate media start to cover this.
00:42:07.000 If that starts to happen more, that's a big deal.
00:42:11.940 If you look at Watergate, if you look at when Richard Nixon started to go down, there are
00:42:17.220 different pieces.
00:42:18.060 One of the pieces has to be a Democrat flipping.
00:42:21.820 With Nixon.
00:42:22.340 That hadn't happened yet.
00:42:22.720 That hadn't happened yet.
00:42:23.760 And we're nowhere close.
00:42:24.720 With Nixon, lots of Republicans flipped, which ultimately took him down.
00:42:28.660 But the corporate media has to decide to do their job and actually cover these facts.
00:42:34.020 Right now, what they do almost every waking moment is scream, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump,
00:42:38.660 Trump, Trump, Trump.
00:42:39.760 They don't want to talk about this.
00:42:41.720 This is getting so bad.
00:42:44.780 That may change.
