00:02:23.640 So Title 42, the authority to deport healthy adults, is going to expire next week.
00:02:30.220 And we are going to see a massive, massive surge in illegal immigration.
00:02:36.680 And the thing to understand, what has happened under Joe Biden in the last two and a half years?
00:02:44.080 We went from Biden came into office and he inherited the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years.
00:02:53.060 He inherited success.
00:02:54.380 This problem was solved more than it has been in decades, in almost 50 years.
00:03:02.480 And within days, Biden created a crisis.
00:03:09.340 He did three decisions in the first week.
00:03:13.060 He halted construction of the border wall.
00:03:15.600 He reinstated catch and release.
00:03:18.240 And he pulled out of the incredibly successful Remain in Mexico agreement.
00:03:22.200 The consequence of those three decisions, he created the worst rate of illegal immigration
00:03:32.040 in the history of our nation.
00:03:35.940 Initially, for the first year, it was the worst rate in 60 years.
00:03:41.120 Now, today, we have never had illegal immigration recorded at the rates we have right now.
00:03:48.280 Over six million people have crossed illegally since Biden has become president.
00:03:54.160 And the amazing thing is, so as we've talked about in this podcast, when Alejandro Mayorkas testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee,

00:04:07.200 I care about the migrants dying.
00:04:09.260 I care about the women being sexually assaulted.
00:04:12.540 I care about the children being brutally assaulted.

00:04:18.800 And you'll recall my answer, which is, no, you don't.

00:04:26.020 Because if you cared, you would behave differently.
00:04:30.540 If you cared, you would stop making the decisions that are causing people to die, that are causing people to be brutally assaulted,

00:04:46.980 But not only does Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and Alejandro Mayorkas and practically every Democrat in the U.S. Congress,
00:04:56.420 not only do they not care because they won't change the decisions, they're doubling down to make it worse.
00:05:02.680 And you need to understand, by ending Title 42 next week, their objective is to turn 6 million illegal immigrants into 10, into 12 million, into 15 million.

00:05:20.460 And Mayorkas' job, as he views it, it's not to stop illegal immigration.
00:05:25.460 He's not trying to stop it.
00:05:26.740 It is to make it more efficient, it is to make it faster, it is to process them more quickly.
00:05:32.980 In other words, he wants to be the FedEx of transporting human trafficking subjects to every place in America.
00:05:44.360 And I've got to say, that is twisted, is perverse, and Texas is seeing the very real consequences, as is every other community in America.

00:05:55.080 Being over here in Hungary, Senator, I'm going to be heading to Ukraine tomorrow.

00:06:01.180 They were talking about the protocol at the border.
00:06:03.220 More than a million people have fled Ukraine into Hungary.
00:06:06.540 But they still have an orderly process.

00:06:10.860 And when you see how secure they're keeping things, even with a humanitarian crisis,

00:06:26.160 I mean, even the Biden White House this week, they claim that illegal immigration is down by more than 90%,
00:06:31.520 and then immediately they contradict that by saying, well, we need a bunch of active military troops to go and assist the border.

00:06:42.660 So I did a press conference with a number of senators in D.C. this week where we talked about Title 42 expiring,
00:06:49.200 and one of the reporters in kind of a snarky tone said, well, I thought you guys liked sending troops to the border.
00:06:55.780 Why are you saying it's not a good thing?
00:06:57.580 And I answered it, and the answer is worth reflecting on.
00:07:02.260 So Joe Biden has announced he's sending 1,500 troops to the border.
00:07:06.360 Look, that can be a useful thing.
00:07:09.280 If you're actually enforcing the border and following federal law,
00:07:13.700 having additional manpower boots on the ground is a very important part of securing the border,
00:07:18.520 whether that is more border patrol agents, and I have repeatedly introduced legislation to triple the number of border patrol agents,
00:07:27.320 or whether that is having active-duty military on the border, or whether that is having Texas DPS officers on the border,
00:07:34.880 or whether that is having National Guard on the border.
00:07:36.940 All of those are good and positive steps if you're following the law.
00:07:42.780 Now, here's why it makes zero difference under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
00:07:49.780 Because they are implementing catch and release, which means they're not deporting the people they catch.
00:07:57.120 So the 1,500 soldiers who are down there, who are honorable men and women who are serving their country,
00:08:04.220 who I'm willing to bet are pissed that they're being used as political props,
00:08:09.860 if they're down there, let's say they apprehend someone.
00:08:14.900 The soldiers don't have the authority to deport anyone.
00:08:18.380 So what they do if they apprehend someone is they hand them over to the Biden administration.
00:08:23.640 And what does the Biden administration do?

00:11:54.900 A lot of the women with children are actually in shelters, in a network of shelters throughout El Paso.
00:12:00.840 As you mentioned, the city of El Paso, under a state of emergency, they declared a disaster because of the influx.
00:12:08.560 Because they know that once Title 42 lifts, that there is going to be a greater influx of migrants.
00:12:16.240 But here's the thing.

00:12:18.760 Title 42 allows immigration agents to swiftly return migrants back to Mexico.
00:12:23.200 So the obvious question, as you look around, is then why are there so many migrants?
00:12:27.500 If the federal government is actually implementing this Title 42, then why are there so many migrants out here?

00:12:36.560 From talking to migrants and community leaders and officials on both sides of the border,
00:12:40.560 I can tell you that thousands of migrants, nearly 40,000, are in at least four northern Mexican cities.

00:12:49.920 A lot of them are deciding to cross the border.

00:12:55.140 Some of them are turning themselves in to border authorities, Jim.

00:14:54.460 But what's amazing is they're willing to look the other way at illegal immigrants dying day after day after day.
00:15:02.880 I asked Mayorkas how many migrants died crossing illegally in the country last year.

00:15:09.380 Of course he doesn't, because he doesn't care.
00:15:10.980 The number was 853, but he doesn't care.
00:15:13.120 I asked him how many women were sexually assaulted, how many children were physically or sexually assaulted.

00:15:23.840 Last year, we had 100,000 people die of drug overdoses, the majority of which was from Chinese fentanyl coming across the border.
00:15:33.000 He says, oh, I care deeply about that.
00:15:35.720 But not only is he not doing anything to stop it, he's putting in place policies that will make it worse.

00:22:04.300 And in 2018, he ran and beat Pete Sessions for the congressional seat near downtown Dallas, Highland Park University Park.
00:22:16.440 The, like, uber-wealthy people from Dallas, he beat Pete Sessions there.
00:22:21.280 Now, Dallas County was, at the time, trending blue in a big, big way.
00:22:27.780 The Democrats were in the process of more than doubling Democrat turnout statewide.
00:22:34.020 It was my last re-elect, and the Democrats were flooding the zone trying to beat me.

00:35:57.460 And their twin objectives, number one, they want to delegitimize the court, because the court is the one institution of the federal government that they do not control right now.
00:36:08.360 And they are furious that there is a majority on the court of constitutionalists who are willing to follow the law.
00:36:18.180 And so they've decided to hell with America, to hell with the rule of law, to hell with the Constitution.
00:36:24.240 They want to tear down the Supreme Court.
00:36:26.960 They – you see Democrat after Democrat after Democrat saying the Supreme Court is corrupt.

00:36:34.300 And not a one of them cares about what are the effects to this country of a concerted political campaign to delegitimize the court.

00:37:26.800 Listen, Antonin Scalia was every bit as conservative as Clarence Thomas.
00:37:31.760 William Rehnquist, my old boss, was every bit as conservative as Clarence Thomas.
00:37:36.300 And yet the left did not despise them.

00:37:40.780 But they didn't despise them.
00:37:42.980 The left hates – and I don't think hate is too strong a word – they hate Clarence Thomas because he's an African-American man who dares to be a conservative.

00:37:58.440 It is condescending, which is that if you are black, you are not allowed to disagree with the leftist orthodoxy.
00:38:06.480 By the way, the same thing is true if you're Hispanic.

00:38:19.140 And this is – what Clarence Thomas is facing is a political campaign.

00:38:29.120 It is a political attack just like if someone was running for president or senator or governor, they'd face a political attack.

00:38:46.880 It's a political attack where the victim of the attack is unable to fight back, which means the rest of us have to.

00:39:03.420 We had the hearing, and it did not go well for Democrats.
00:39:07.860 By the end of it, Democrats had left the room.

00:39:15.120 It's obvious that we're applying a double standard, that the things we're criticizing Clarence Thomas for, liberal justices did the same or more of it,

00:39:31.200 And so I think that was a significant victory that the hearing went so badly for Democrats.
00:39:38.180 But in the couple of days since the hearing, every day a new attack has come out on Clarence Thomas.
00:39:46.560 Yeah, it's clear that it's orchestrated, and they're not going to back down from their attacks on Clarence Thomas.
