00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.580 Guaranteed human.
00:00:05.300 Welcome.
00:00:05.980 It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz.
00:00:07.760 We've got one heck of a show for you today.
00:00:10.020 It deals with everything from China and the movie, the Barbie movie coming out.
00:00:14.460 Plus, we've got another victory we want to talk about that deals with censorship.
00:00:18.800 And then there's the big story.
00:00:20.880 And that is one that deals with cocaine at the White House.
00:00:24.700 Now, Senator, there's other big news that we're going to deal with,
00:00:29.040 including a huge court victory against government censorship.
00:00:32.740 But everyone is obsessed with the cocaine at the White House.
00:00:37.460 So let me get your initial take to that one.
00:00:40.000 You know, I don't think Saturday Night Live could satirize the Biden White House
00:00:44.980 worse than what has actually happened.
00:00:46.740 Now, of course, for Saturday Night Live to satirize them,
00:00:49.040 they'd have to be willing to actually make fun of Democrats.
00:00:52.020 But listen, Biden ran promising to bring back dignity to the White House.
00:00:57.480 In the last couple of weeks, we've had, number one,
00:01:00.820 a biological man who identifies as a transgender woman go topless
00:01:05.380 with his surgically constructed breasts bouncing around on the South Lawn.
00:01:11.140 That happened a couple of weeks ago.
00:01:13.160 We had a couple of days ago, Hunter Biden standing behind his parents
00:01:17.660 on the balcony of the White House,
00:01:19.240 by all appearances stoned out of his mind.
00:01:24.240 And then we now have had a bag of cocaine
00:01:29.060 literally found in the West Wing of the frigging White House.
00:01:33.380 The West Wing, by the way, is the working office of the White House.
00:01:36.760 It's where the Oval Office is.
00:01:38.340 It's where the Chief of Staff's office is.
00:01:40.620 It's where the National Security Advisor's office is.
00:01:43.200 It's where the senior White House staff works.
00:01:46.340 And there's just a bag of white powder.
00:01:49.020 Like, I don't know at this point, how do you even satirize it
00:01:54.820 with topless transgender people running around
00:01:59.240 and bags of cocaine in the White House?
00:02:02.360 This is Joe Biden's administration.
00:02:04.880 The part that's also extremely shocking to me
00:02:08.000 is the fact that the White House wouldn't comment on this at all.
00:02:11.900 They wouldn't say if they're going to drug test their staffers moving forward,
00:02:16.000 and they wouldn't even say that they would hold the person accountable
00:02:20.780 if they find out who brought in this cocaine.
00:02:24.280 Is the rule of law and order completely gone under this administration?
00:02:29.940 I mean, if someone brings cocaine into the White House
00:02:32.440 and you won't publicly come out and state immediately,
00:02:35.640 we are going to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law when we find,
00:02:39.060 not if, when we find, with that type of determination.
00:02:43.720 Oh, look, it's worse than that.
00:02:45.400 It's not only is there a double standard
00:02:47.340 and they won't prosecute people who are violating the law.
00:02:49.940 We know that.
00:02:51.040 I mean, Hunter Biden, we've got videos of him on crack cocaine,
00:02:54.840 and the DOJ won't prosecute it.
00:02:57.780 So we know that.
00:02:59.260 But it's worse than that because it's a DOJ cover-up.
00:03:02.740 It's a Biden-White House cover-up.
00:03:04.560 You know, we had the administration put out a statement.
00:03:08.360 We probably will never know whose cocaine it was.
00:03:12.580 Really?
00:03:13.580 Really?
00:03:14.180 Are you friggin' telling me someone can leave a bag of something
00:03:17.660 in the West Wing of the White House?
00:03:19.160 If it were a bag of anthrax, would they be like,
00:03:21.640 well, you know, we'll never know who left it.
00:03:23.300 Oh, well.
00:03:24.220 And by the way, where this was located,
00:03:28.100 so let me give you a little bit of the geography of the White House.
00:03:30.880 Where this was located was by the entrance to the White House
00:03:35.960 in the West Wing.
00:03:36.780 So when you come to the West Wing for a meeting,
00:03:39.060 you come in a door that is down on the ground level,
00:03:42.580 and where you come in, off on your right, there's a dining room.
00:03:46.440 Off on your right is the situation room,
00:03:49.980 and it apparently is right somewhere in that entrance foyer
00:03:53.480 is where this bag of cocaine was found,
00:03:56.680 and it was found in a normal security sweep.
00:04:00.900 Now, Corrine Jean-Pierre has said,
00:04:02.640 well, this is a heavily trafficked area of the White House.
00:04:05.900 I have to say it is screamingly funny
00:04:07.600 that she keeps using the word heavily trafficked, heavily trafficked.
00:04:11.940 Well, when you're trafficking in cocaine,
00:04:13.920 that she may be speaking more literally than typical.
00:04:18.220 There's an irony that Corrine Jean-Pierre
00:04:20.540 may have accidentally spoken the truth
00:04:22.560 from the podium of the White House.
00:04:24.980 But listen, that is the entrance that senators go through.
00:04:28.920 It's the entrance that cabinet members go through.
00:04:30.840 It's the entrance that if you're going to meet
00:04:34.620 someone senior in the White House,
00:04:37.460 typically if you're going to meet the president,
00:04:38.900 that's the entrance you go through.
00:04:40.480 I've gone through that entrance probably hundreds of times.
00:04:46.040 What is bizarre is they say we can't figure out who it is.
00:04:50.840 Now, I will say something odd,
00:04:52.640 which is there's lots of speculation on Twitter,
00:04:56.060 oh, a bag of cocaine in the White House,
00:04:58.140 it's got to be Hunter's.
00:04:59.780 You know, my guess is it probably isn't Hunter's.
00:05:02.960 I don't know that, obviously.
00:05:04.480 We know that Hunter has a drug problem.
00:05:06.440 We know that he has used cocaine
00:05:07.960 and used crack cocaine in the past.
00:05:10.140 But I doubt Hunter Biden
00:05:13.580 is going in the West Wing all that often
00:05:16.360 and going in that entrance all that often.
00:05:19.120 But I think it is in all likelihood
00:05:22.180 someone who works in the Biden administration,
00:05:24.480 some senior Biden official,
00:05:27.100 which makes the cover up all that the more astonishing.
00:05:31.880 You're telling me with the cameras they have there,
00:05:34.500 with the Secret Service they have there,
00:05:36.180 with the Marine detail they have there,
00:05:38.020 that nobody can figure out,
00:05:40.220 hey, who left the bag of cocaine
00:05:42.800 by the front door of the West Wing of the White House?
00:05:45.280 I mean, that is, or the side door, that's insane.
00:05:50.420 And the only reason they would put out a statement
00:05:53.360 saying we will never know who it was
00:05:55.200 is the same reason why the DOJ and the FBI
00:05:59.920 is engaged in a cover up of Hunter Biden's
00:06:02.840 acts of criminality, of Joe Biden's acts of criminality,
00:06:06.720 of the evidence of corruption.
00:06:08.680 Sadly, this administration
00:06:10.220 is more than willing to politicize.
00:06:13.060 Look, it would be embarrassing
00:06:14.440 if we discover that a senior White House aide
00:06:18.120 is bringing cocaine into the West Wing
00:06:20.840 to do Schedule I serious drugs in the White House.
00:06:25.920 And so their answer instead is,
00:06:27.640 of course, we're not going to prosecute it.
00:06:29.000 We're not going to investigate it.
00:06:30.080 And you know what?
00:06:30.600 We'll just never know who did it.
00:06:32.020 Whoops. Oh, well.
00:06:33.560 One of the other things,
00:06:34.700 the talking point, and you mentioned it,
00:06:36.760 was the fact they say this is a heavily trafficked area.
00:06:39.660 The White House is not Disney World.
00:06:41.380 It's not a Starbucks line at the airport, okay?
00:06:44.520 It's, this is, the idea that this is highly trafficked
00:06:47.680 makes it sound like there's thousands and thousands
00:06:50.660 of people walking through this area.
00:06:53.140 You've been there, like you said, hundreds of times.
00:06:55.400 I've had a blessed career to be able to go to the White House
00:06:58.380 a significant number of times as well.
00:07:00.640 I was there last time, the day of the State of the Union,
00:07:03.180 and I was in this exact area where the cubbies are,
00:07:05.900 where you put your phones before I went in the Oval Office
00:07:07.920 to meet with President Trump, and this area,
00:07:10.920 the idea that you can't find out who it is is a lie.
00:07:13.660 The same way I would argue, Senator,
00:07:15.840 that the idea that we still don't know who leaked,
00:07:17.860 for example, the Roe v. Wade being overturned is a lie.
00:07:21.840 They know, I have no doubt in my mind,
00:07:24.520 and this is my opinion,
00:07:25.920 that they know exactly who brought this cocaine in,
00:07:28.360 and I promise you,
00:07:29.440 if it would have been anthrax or something like that,
00:07:32.780 we would know who did it,
00:07:34.660 they would have found him.
00:07:35.560 There's no way you can tell me
00:07:37.180 they can't figure this crime out.
00:07:40.280 So I actually don't know if they know who it is.
00:07:44.040 I think they don't want to know.
00:07:46.100 I think they are being willfully blind.
00:07:48.940 I think they are putting their head in the sand
00:07:50.620 like an ostrich,
00:07:52.280 and just saying,
00:07:53.400 let's not figure it out.
00:07:54.740 Let's just say, gosh,
00:07:56.440 really difficult to figure out,
00:07:58.020 and this is the sort of question
00:07:59.700 we don't want an answer to.
00:08:01.120 I also think it is a different scenario
00:08:04.280 than the Supreme Court leak.
00:08:07.720 Look, I think Chief Justice Roberts
00:08:10.460 wants to know who leaked it.
00:08:12.520 We've seen Justice Alito has said
00:08:14.500 he thinks he knows who leaked it,
00:08:17.340 but what I suspect happened there,
00:08:19.920 and I don't know
00:08:20.640 because the court has not given definitive answers,
00:08:23.480 but what I suspect happened there
00:08:25.140 is that they didn't run a very good investigation.
00:08:28.020 I don't think it was because
00:08:29.260 they didn't want to know the answer.
00:08:31.120 I just think it's because
00:08:32.380 they allowed the Marshal's office
00:08:34.060 to lead that investigation,
00:08:35.300 and the Marshal's office
00:08:36.520 is not an investigative agency.
00:08:40.280 It's not an agency
00:08:41.540 that investigates crimes.
00:08:44.260 It's part of the Marshal's office.
00:08:47.120 You have the police officers of the court
00:08:48.880 that are protecting against
00:08:50.780 acts of violence,
00:08:52.720 but they're not typically
00:08:54.220 investigating crimes.
00:08:56.100 They're not typically engaged
00:08:58.560 in forensic analysis,
00:08:59.720 and what I called for at the time
00:09:01.560 is the Supreme Court, I believe,
00:09:04.180 should have called in the FBI.
00:09:05.620 The FBI has very extensive
00:09:07.320 forensic capability.
00:09:09.360 The reason the court didn't, I think,
00:09:11.920 was because of separation
00:09:13.640 of powers concerns,
00:09:14.720 and there's a view within the judiciary
00:09:18.060 that we're Article III,
00:09:20.000 we're a separate branch of government,
00:09:22.440 and asking Article II,
00:09:24.940 asking the executive branch
00:09:26.700 to assist is intruding
00:09:28.140 in our internal business.
00:09:29.640 I get that,
00:09:31.100 but I think the better decision
00:09:33.060 would have been
00:09:33.680 for the Chief Justice
00:09:34.580 to instruct the Marshal's office
00:09:36.160 to work with the FBI
00:09:38.100 and get their forensic capability
00:09:40.200 to find out who leaked,
00:09:42.020 and so I think the motivation
00:09:43.260 is different.
00:09:43.920 I think with the Supreme Court leak,
00:09:47.320 it wasn't an effort
00:09:48.460 to cover it up.
00:09:49.560 It was rather putting
00:09:51.640 institutional concerns
00:09:53.620 above what I think
00:09:55.140 was the incredibly important need
00:09:57.920 to expose and punish the leaker.
00:10:02.420 In the White House,
00:10:03.500 on the other hand,
00:10:04.220 I think it is a flat-out cover-up.
00:10:05.980 I think they do not want to know
00:10:08.020 because it is exceptionally likely,
00:10:10.880 it is, I think, close to 100%,
00:10:13.060 that it is someone
00:10:14.840 who works in the White House.
00:10:17.260 Look, I suppose,
00:10:18.180 is it possible
00:10:19.120 that some random visitor
00:10:21.880 to the White House
00:10:23.520 left a bag of cocaine?
00:10:25.280 I guess, theoretically,
00:10:26.420 so maybe it's not 100%,
00:10:27.760 but what are the odds
00:10:30.400 some guy who has a meeting
00:10:32.180 with, let's say,
00:10:33.180 the Chief of Staff
00:10:33.900 of the White House
00:10:34.540 just happens to bring
00:10:35.920 a bag of cocaine with them
00:10:37.340 and happens to leave it
00:10:38.220 in the foyer?
00:10:38.780 I mean, that just,
00:10:39.840 that strikes me
00:10:41.640 as very unlikely.
00:10:42.720 I think it is much more likely
00:10:44.280 this is someone
00:10:44.940 that comes in and out
00:10:45.900 of that building every day.
00:10:48.760 And in that instance,
00:10:50.540 whoever it is,
00:10:52.220 is going to be really embarrassing
00:10:54.000 for the Biden White House.
00:10:55.280 And so it's much easier
00:10:56.640 from a political damage
00:10:58.100 control perspective
00:10:59.000 to say,
00:10:59.540 oh, we can't figure it out.
00:11:01.000 Oh, well,
00:11:01.540 because, boy,
00:11:02.800 we really don't want
00:11:03.760 to know the answer to that.
00:11:05.080 Yeah, great point.
00:11:05.760 I want to tell you real quick
00:11:06.480 about our friends
00:11:07.040 over at Augusta Precious Metals.
00:11:08.820 If you have been saving
00:11:10.700 for a long time
00:11:11.780 for retirement,
00:11:12.540 maybe you're in retirement,
00:11:13.560 or maybe you're trying
00:11:14.420 to figure out a strategy
00:11:15.220 to protect your hard-earned dollars,
00:11:17.240 if you haven't looked at gold,
00:11:18.980 especially with what's been
00:11:20.040 going on with the economy
00:11:20.960 and the incredible ups
00:11:23.180 and downs on Wall Street,
00:11:24.360 then now may be the time
00:11:25.500 to see if a gold IRA
00:11:26.820 can help you protect
00:11:27.840 your hard-earned dollars.
00:11:29.140 Now, if you are close
00:11:30.220 to retirement
00:11:30.680 or in retirement,
00:11:31.640 the number one thing
00:11:32.340 you're thinking about
00:11:32.980 is this.
00:11:33.800 There is no time
00:11:34.840 to make up losses.
00:11:36.040 And a lot of people
00:11:37.320 have had losses
00:11:38.080 in their retirement accounts
00:11:39.080 over the last couple years.
00:11:40.420 That's where gold
00:11:41.280 can also come in
00:11:42.200 to protect you.
00:11:43.560 Now, my friends
00:11:44.260 at Augusta Precious Metals,

00:11:51.720 Not only are they going
00:11:52.680 to send you
00:11:53.080 the free investor's guide
00:11:54.440 on gold,
00:11:55.520 but they will do
00:11:56.400 a one-on-one
00:11:57.240 web conference
00:11:58.040 with you as well.
00:11:59.660 They'll give you
00:12:00.260 the economic insights
00:12:01.440 and explain to you
00:12:02.680 how a gold IRA
00:12:03.460 can work for you
00:12:04.540 and most importantly,
00:12:05.460 give you the peace of mind
00:12:06.760 and that is the most
00:12:08.120 important thing
00:12:08.600 to protect your assets.
00:12:11.080 Call Augusta Precious Metals
00:12:12.320 right now
00:12:13.000 and get the free investor's guide
00:12:14.680 and do the one-on-one
00:12:16.040 with them.
00:12:17.400 877,
00:12:18.620 the number four,
00:12:19.900 gold IRA.
00:12:21.940 877,
00:12:23.100 the number four,
00:12:24.740 gold IRA

00:12:29.920 That's AugustaPreciousMetals.com
00:12:32.540 Senator,
00:12:33.200 one more question on this.
00:12:34.240 Do you think
00:12:35.340 that we're going
00:12:35.960 to find out
00:12:36.840 or is the White House
00:12:38.100 going to have to
00:12:38.600 come clean on this?
00:12:39.880 Is there anything
00:12:40.380 Congress will be able
00:12:41.260 to do?
00:12:42.060 I mean,
00:12:42.520 they're treating it
00:12:43.280 like a crime scene
00:12:44.280 right now at least,
00:12:45.440 acting like,
00:12:46.080 hey,
00:12:46.120 this is a real crime.
00:12:47.100 You've got a substance
00:12:48.460 that wasn't supposed
00:12:49.240 to be in the White House.
00:12:50.100 It is cocaine
00:12:50.880 and a legal substance
00:12:51.740 of that.
00:12:52.540 It's also a national
00:12:53.280 security issue
00:12:54.040 how this could get
00:12:54.760 into the White House,
00:12:56.300 a white substance
00:12:57.140 in general.
00:12:57.860 Thank goodness
00:12:58.280 it wasn't something
00:12:58.980 like anthrax.
00:13:00.240 But are we going
00:13:01.460 to get answers
00:13:01.940 or is this just
00:13:02.460 going to go away?
00:13:05.200 Well,
00:13:05.700 if it's up to
00:13:06.360 the Biden White House,
00:13:07.300 it will go away.
00:13:08.280 I expect
00:13:09.240 that the House
00:13:10.380 of Representatives
00:13:11.060 will try to do
00:13:11.940 some oversight
00:13:12.580 on this.
00:13:13.260 I also expect
00:13:14.120 that the Biden White House
00:13:15.360 will simply erect
00:13:17.720 a wall around
00:13:18.740 the White House
00:13:19.300 and will stonewall.
00:13:20.140 And we've seen
00:13:20.600 DOJ stonewall.
00:13:21.680 We've seen
00:13:21.980 the FBI stonewall.
00:13:23.160 I expect
00:13:24.100 that the Secret
00:13:24.660 Service will
00:13:25.240 stonewall on this.
00:13:26.920 And so the chances
00:13:29.260 that Senate Democrats
00:13:30.400 want to get to
00:13:31.040 the bottom of this
00:13:31.800 are zero.
00:13:33.080 Why?
00:13:33.700 Because they know
00:13:34.940 that it is very likely
00:13:36.340 a senior official
00:13:38.360 in the Biden White House.
00:13:40.220 It could conceivably
00:13:41.340 be Hunter Biden.
00:13:42.300 There is at least
00:13:43.040 one known cocaine user
00:13:45.760 who frequents
00:13:47.400 the White House.
00:13:48.040 But as I said,
00:13:48.760 generally,
00:13:49.620 you would assume
00:13:50.560 that Hunter Biden
00:13:51.380 is in the residence
00:13:52.120 of the White House
00:13:52.800 rather than entering
00:13:53.760 through the business
00:13:55.040 entrance of the West Wing.
00:13:57.060 But Senate Democrats
00:13:58.800 do not want
00:13:59.580 to know the answer
00:14:00.360 because I think
00:14:01.120 they are much more
00:14:02.000 interested in political
00:14:03.460 damage control
00:14:05.280 than actually
00:14:06.680 getting to the bottom.
00:14:08.160 You are right.
00:14:09.080 The West Wing
00:14:10.060 of the White House
00:14:10.980 is a crime scene
00:14:12.640 right now.
00:14:13.960 Anyplace else,
00:14:14.960 if police discover
00:14:16.140 a bag of cocaine,
00:14:18.040 the place they discover
00:14:19.320 it they call
00:14:20.000 a crime scene.
00:14:21.180 And they investigate
00:14:22.160 whose cocaine is this.
00:14:23.860 And you know what?
00:14:25.100 There are thousands
00:14:26.360 of people in jail
00:14:27.720 right now
00:14:28.500 for possessing
00:14:30.160 a bag of cocaine
00:14:31.360 just like the one
00:14:32.920 found in the West Wing
00:14:34.340 of the White House.
00:14:35.060 And so there's
00:14:36.120 a double standard
00:14:36.920 of justice.
00:14:37.920 We talked about this
00:14:39.140 with the Hunter Biden
00:14:39.840 investigation
00:14:40.420 that if you're
00:14:41.440 some poor schmo
00:14:42.820 who did crack cocaine,
00:14:44.160 you could serve hard time.
00:14:45.540 But if you're connected
00:14:46.860 to Joe Biden
00:14:47.800 and this White House,
00:14:49.480 you get special treatment,
00:14:50.680 you get a cover-up
00:14:51.800 from this administration.
00:14:53.900 Yeah, it's sad
00:14:55.580 to see the White House
00:14:56.360 turn into this
00:14:57.140 sideshow
00:14:58.360 as you described it
00:14:59.740 earlier with this,
00:15:00.660 what they've done
00:15:01.560 to this White House
00:15:02.280 is sad.
00:15:03.240 It's supposed to be
00:15:04.000 a place of honor
00:15:04.660 and respect.
00:15:05.140 It's supposed to be
00:15:05.720 a place of dignity
00:15:06.480 that we're supposed
00:15:07.420 to be proud of.
00:15:08.140 And certainly,
00:15:08.600 you can't say that
00:15:09.260 right now
00:15:09.680 with this administration
00:15:10.500 the way that
00:15:11.000 they're treating it.
00:15:12.060 I want to move
00:15:12.620 to also another
00:15:13.480 big victory.
00:15:14.100 I've got to say,
00:15:14.680 comparatively,
00:15:15.700 comparatively,
00:15:16.660 Bill Clinton
00:15:17.100 has got to be
00:15:17.640 looking at this
00:15:18.300 going, wow,
00:15:19.480 you guys said
00:15:20.160 I disrespected.
00:15:22.260 Yeah, I mean,
00:15:22.900 Bill Clinton's like,
00:15:24.140 boy, I got criticism
00:15:25.440 for what I did
00:15:26.760 in the West Wing
00:15:27.840 of the White House.
00:15:28.720 The Bidens are making
00:15:29.800 Bill Clinton
00:15:30.340 look like an amateur.
00:15:31.480 Yeah, it only takes
00:15:32.900 one more bigger idiot
00:15:33.780 to make you look good,
00:15:34.700 right?
00:15:35.060 That's all you can say
00:15:36.060 about that one.
00:15:37.100 I want to move
00:15:37.620 to another story.
00:15:38.820 And Senator,
00:15:39.280 this could have
00:15:40.120 massive implications
00:15:41.360 for the election.
00:15:42.040 By the way, Ben,
00:15:42.620 for the record,
00:15:43.680 let's not have that
00:15:45.080 be the slogan
00:15:45.700 of this podcast.
00:15:50.600 Although our critics
00:15:51.800 would suggest
00:15:52.600 that's already our slogan.
00:15:53.920 Yeah, there you go.
00:15:54.720 Fair enough.
00:15:55.440 Fair enough.
00:15:56.400 We've got a big story
00:15:57.560 that deals...
00:15:58.720 We've got a big story
00:16:01.000 that's going to deal
00:16:01.780 that could have
00:16:02.580 huge ramifications
00:16:03.720 for the election
00:16:05.720 coming up.
00:16:06.940 And it's a big
00:16:08.160 court victory.
00:16:09.360 This is something
00:16:10.160 that verdict listeners
00:16:11.480 are going to want
00:16:12.260 to know about
00:16:12.920 because it's not
00:16:13.600 being covered.
00:16:14.680 There was a huge
00:16:15.580 court victory
00:16:16.300 against government
00:16:17.760 censorship.
00:16:19.500 A federal judge
00:16:20.640 has blocked
00:16:21.380 the Biden administration
00:16:22.340 officials
00:16:22.920 from actually
00:16:24.160 communicating directly
00:16:25.820 with social media
00:16:26.660 companies
00:16:27.120 to silence
00:16:28.200 and censor
00:16:29.120 people,
00:16:30.440 ideas,
00:16:30.860 and stories.
00:16:32.500 This judge
00:16:33.100 has now ordered
00:16:33.860 Biden officials
00:16:35.060 to, quote,
00:16:35.860 limit their contact
00:16:37.060 with social media
00:16:38.180 companies.
00:16:38.700 Ruling says
00:16:39.940 that Biden
00:16:40.420 administration's
00:16:41.260 policing of social
00:16:42.460 media
00:16:42.780 is likely
00:16:44.200 a violation
00:16:45.420 of people's
00:16:46.540 First Amendment.
00:16:47.340 Now, so people
00:16:48.040 understand,
00:16:48.560 the Biden administration
00:16:49.240 has been in regular
00:16:50.180 contact,
00:16:50.820 sometimes daily,
00:16:52.140 multiple times a week,
00:16:53.360 and if you say
00:16:54.680 something they don't
00:16:55.300 like,
00:16:55.900 whether it was
00:16:56.420 during the time
00:16:57.060 of COVID
00:16:57.540 or other issues
00:16:58.880 they don't like,
00:16:59.600 they could just
00:17:00.400 connect with them
00:17:01.200 and say,
00:17:01.500 hey,
00:17:02.080 silence that person,
00:17:03.460 shut that person's
00:17:04.320 account down,
00:17:04.900 get that person
00:17:05.620 kicked off your
00:17:06.220 platform,
00:17:06.740 and this judge
00:17:07.900 has finally said,
00:17:08.700 you can't do that.
00:17:10.980 Well, that's
00:17:11.740 exactly right,
00:17:12.600 and, you know,
00:17:13.320 this is a topic
00:17:14.200 we're going to do
00:17:14.680 a deep dive into,
00:17:16.080 and this is one
00:17:17.320 of the reasons
00:17:17.880 I think people
00:17:19.040 listen to Verdict,
00:17:19.940 because we cover
00:17:20.840 topics that the
00:17:22.580 corporate media
00:17:23.140 won't cover,
00:17:23.780 and they won't
00:17:24.120 cover in any
00:17:24.660 substance.
00:17:25.180 This is a very
00:17:26.080 important decision,
00:17:27.900 this is a very
00:17:28.600 important victory
00:17:29.420 for free speech,
00:17:30.460 and the corporate
00:17:31.200 media doesn't want
00:17:31.960 you to know about it.
00:17:33.100 This is a ruling
00:17:33.860 that came down
00:17:34.620 on July 4th,
00:17:35.480 on Independence Day.
00:17:36.300 And it came down
00:17:38.020 from Chief Judge
00:17:39.260 Terry Doty
00:17:40.040 of the Western
00:17:40.860 District of Louisiana,
00:17:41.980 who's a federal
00:17:42.460 district judge,
00:17:44.040 and he issued
00:17:46.200 a preliminary injunction
00:17:47.540 that restricts
00:17:49.380 the Biden
00:17:49.780 administration
00:17:50.340 from communicating
00:17:51.460 with social media
00:17:52.900 platforms in order
00:17:54.740 to ask them to
00:17:55.820 remove or suppress
00:17:57.160 content containing
00:17:58.820 protected speech.
00:18:00.200 In other words,
00:18:00.800 to stop the
00:18:02.080 Biden administration
00:18:03.180 from collaborating
00:18:05.360 with big tech
00:18:06.360 to censor you.
00:18:08.100 Now, this opinion
00:18:08.940 is 155 pages long.
00:18:12.100 It is a serious,
00:18:13.780 scholarly opinion.
00:18:14.720 It is an incredibly
00:18:17.020 detailed opinion.
00:18:18.460 This is a case
00:18:19.540 that was brought
00:18:20.380 against the Biden
00:18:21.700 administration
00:18:22.240 by the state of
00:18:23.100 Missouri and the
00:18:23.720 state of Louisiana.
00:18:24.360 Indiana, and it
00:18:25.400 was also brought
00:18:26.320 by two epidemiologists,
00:18:28.780 Jay Bhattachira
00:18:30.940 and Martin
00:18:32.140 Kulldorff, and four
00:18:34.000 other social media
00:18:34.880 commentators who
00:18:36.320 allege that social
00:18:37.280 media firms
00:18:38.140 removed their
00:18:40.140 posts.
00:18:41.140 And this injunction
00:18:43.520 focuses on
00:18:45.060 repeatedly, it is at
00:18:47.680 the preliminary
00:18:48.140 injunction stage,
00:18:49.200 so what the court
00:18:50.240 concluded in order to
00:18:51.660 grant a preliminary
00:18:52.300 injunction, the
00:18:53.840 district court has
00:18:54.740 to find that the
00:18:55.520 plaintiffs are likely
00:18:57.040 to prevail on the
00:18:58.360 merits of their
00:18:58.960 claim.
00:18:59.640 So that's what the
00:19:00.380 district court
00:19:00.840 concluded, that they
00:19:01.620 are likely to win
00:19:03.260 to prove in court
00:19:05.360 that the Biden
00:19:06.520 administration violated
00:19:08.160 the First Amendment
00:19:09.060 and violated the free
00:19:10.260 speech rights of
00:19:11.000 Americans.
00:19:11.800 That's a big deal.
00:19:13.300 And they walked
00:19:14.300 through carefully
00:19:15.480 what was going on.
00:19:17.600 It documents
00:19:18.600 instances where
00:19:20.400 White House
00:19:20.980 officials explicitly
00:19:23.080 demanded censorship,
00:19:24.780 including in some
00:19:25.600 cases demanding
00:19:27.000 that social media
00:19:28.280 delete the accounts
00:19:29.560 of private
00:19:31.040 Americans, including
00:19:32.080 Tommy Lahren,
00:19:33.500 including Tucker
00:19:34.180 Carlson, including
00:19:35.780 Alex Berenson.
00:19:37.260 At one point, a
00:19:38.900 White House
00:19:39.360 official expressed
00:19:41.320 frustration with
00:19:42.420 Facebook's lack of
00:19:44.460 censorship of what
00:19:46.060 they called vaccine
00:19:47.280 disinformation,
00:19:48.280 writing in an email,
00:19:49.100 and I'm quoting,
00:19:49.620 Are you guys
00:19:51.540 effing serious?
00:19:52.880 And they did not
00:19:53.740 abbreviate effing.
00:19:55.300 I want an answer
00:19:56.580 on what happened
00:19:57.460 here, and I want
00:19:59.100 it today.
00:20:00.500 Now, let's be clear
00:20:01.700 that that is not an
00:20:02.760 email of someone
00:20:03.560 saying, gosh, would
00:20:04.560 you mind looking at
00:20:05.320 this?
00:20:05.600 Hey, this is a
00:20:06.220 concern.
00:20:07.020 That is the kind
00:20:09.020 of communication we
00:20:10.160 saw Hunter Biden
00:20:11.180 give to the Chinese
00:20:12.920 official, I want an
00:20:14.140 answer and I want it
00:20:14.920 by tonight.
00:20:15.540 It's the kind of
00:20:16.220 answer you give
00:20:16.980 someone who works
00:20:18.440 for you that you
00:20:19.760 have power over.
00:20:23.320 The opinion also
00:20:24.540 documents Facebook's
00:20:25.860 collusion with the
00:20:27.040 CDC to censor
00:20:29.540 COVID-related
00:20:30.500 claims.
00:20:32.100 This included a
00:20:33.420 scheme where
00:20:33.920 Facebook would
00:20:34.900 email an
00:20:36.600 official of the
00:20:37.320 CDC, quote,
00:20:38.500 to determine whether
00:20:39.880 statements made on
00:20:40.880 Facebook were true
00:20:41.720 or false.
00:20:42.240 And if the CDC
00:20:44.100 said this statement
00:20:45.060 is false, Facebook
00:20:47.060 would remove the,
00:20:48.500 quote, false
00:20:48.860 statement.
00:20:49.340 So, for example,
00:20:51.020 the CDC rated as
00:20:52.440 false the claim
00:20:54.820 that COVID-19
00:20:56.980 vaccines weaken
00:20:58.420 the immune system.
00:21:00.340 Now, I would say
00:21:01.980 as we sit here right
00:21:03.000 now in 2023, that
00:21:04.600 claim has not 100%
00:21:07.120 been proven true,
00:21:08.220 but there's a lot
00:21:08.820 of evidence to think
00:21:09.660 it's true.
00:21:10.120 And at a
00:21:11.220 minimum, it is
00:21:12.680 not objectively
00:21:13.880 false, proven to
00:21:15.080 be such, so that
00:21:16.400 the government can
00:21:17.360 silence you from
00:21:18.640 saying to the
00:21:19.220 contrary.
00:21:20.440 Likewise, the
00:21:22.220 opinion discusses
00:21:23.160 the FBI's efforts
00:21:24.240 through what it
00:21:24.840 called the Foreign
00:21:25.640 Influence Task
00:21:26.680 Force to, quote,
00:21:30.940 prime technology
00:21:32.260 companies about
00:21:33.560 possible hack and
00:21:35.700 dump operations led
00:21:37.340 by foreign state
00:21:38.100 actors.
00:21:39.680 And Yoel Roth,
00:21:41.020 who was a Twitter
00:21:41.880 executive, testified
00:21:43.660 that during the
00:21:44.840 joint industry FBI
00:21:45.940 meetings, he learned
00:21:47.940 that, quote, there
00:21:49.860 were rumors that a
00:21:51.600 hack and leak
00:21:52.160 operation would
00:21:53.120 involve Hunter
00:21:53.800 Biden.
00:21:55.180 And as we know,
00:21:57.380 social media right
00:21:58.420 before the 2020
00:21:59.300 election suppressed
00:22:00.560 the story that broke
00:22:01.720 about Hunter Biden's
00:22:02.560 laptop.
00:22:03.100 Now, here's the
00:22:03.540 critical thing.
00:22:04.080 The FBI at the
00:22:05.660 time knew that
00:22:07.240 Hunter Biden's
00:22:07.980 laptop was not
00:22:09.480 Russian disinformation
00:22:10.780 because the agency
00:22:12.900 was in possession of
00:22:14.240 the laptop as of
00:22:16.460 December of 2019,
00:22:18.040 so a year earlier.
00:22:21.080 In addition, another
00:22:23.340 office, what's called
00:22:24.300 the Global
00:22:24.860 Engagement Center,
00:22:26.580 it's part of the
00:22:27.320 State Department.
00:22:28.680 It was an
00:22:29.320 initiative that
00:22:30.100 emerged from
00:22:30.820 Executive Order
00:22:31.720 13584.
00:22:33.480 issued by
00:22:34.540 Obama, which
00:22:36.020 established the
00:22:37.000 State Department's
00:22:38.000 Center for Strategic
00:22:39.020 Counterterrorism
00:22:40.320 Communications.
00:22:42.260 Ultimately, another
00:22:44.120 executive order,
00:22:45.160 Executive Order
00:22:45.920 13721, again
00:22:47.840 issued by Obama,
00:22:49.580 transformed the
00:22:50.680 CSCC into the
00:22:53.040 Global Engagement
00:22:54.040 Center, and the
00:22:56.420 center is designed
00:22:57.660 to, quote,
00:22:58.820 direct, lead,
00:23:00.640 synchronize,
00:23:01.340 integrate, and
00:23:01.840 coordinate U.S.
00:23:02.660 efforts to
00:23:03.200 recognize,
00:23:03.840 understand,
00:23:04.340 expose, and
00:23:05.300 counter foreign
00:23:06.280 state and
00:23:07.220 non-state propaganda
00:23:08.520 and disinformation
00:23:09.400 aimed at
00:23:10.680 undermining the
00:23:11.900 policy, security,
00:23:12.980 or stability of the
00:23:13.820 United States.
00:23:15.040 But you know what
00:23:16.040 they didn't do?
00:23:16.640 They didn't focus on
00:23:17.700 foreign actors.
00:23:18.680 They focused on,
00:23:20.620 repeatedly,
00:23:22.220 Americans whose
00:23:23.940 speech they were
00:23:24.740 trying to silence.
00:23:25.720 And so what the
00:23:27.780 district court did
00:23:28.980 is it issued an
00:23:30.640 injunction against
00:23:31.540 multiple different
00:23:32.540 parts of the
00:23:35.060 Biden administration
00:23:35.940 to stop directing
00:23:38.760 social media to
00:23:40.020 censor free speech
00:23:41.580 postings from
00:23:44.320 American citizens.
00:23:45.680 And let me read
00:23:47.600 you a portion of
00:23:49.940 it.
00:23:50.100 defendants used
00:23:52.060 meetings and
00:23:52.580 communications with
00:23:53.380 social media
00:23:53.880 companies to
00:23:54.480 pressure these
00:23:55.000 companies to
00:23:55.560 take down,
00:23:56.140 reduce, and
00:23:56.560 suppress the
00:23:57.480 free speech of
00:23:58.160 American citizens.
00:23:59.480 They flagged
00:24:00.320 posts and
00:24:01.200 provided information
00:24:02.160 on the type of
00:24:02.820 posts they wanted
00:24:03.440 suppressed.
00:24:04.440 They also followed
00:24:05.500 up with directives
00:24:06.460 to the social media
00:24:07.240 companies to
00:24:07.900 provide them with
00:24:08.580 information as to
00:24:09.980 the action the
00:24:10.720 company had taken
00:24:11.560 with regard to the
00:24:12.420 flag post.
00:24:13.140 this seemingly
00:24:15.040 unrelented pressure
00:24:16.940 by defendants had
00:24:19.200 the intended result
00:24:20.400 of suppressing
00:24:21.340 millions of
00:24:23.600 protected free
00:24:24.600 speech postings by
00:24:25.760 American citizens.
00:24:27.380 If ever there were
00:24:28.920 a case where the
00:24:29.900 quote significant
00:24:30.980 encouragement theory
00:24:32.140 should apply,
00:24:33.140 this is it.
00:24:34.420 And that's a theory
00:24:35.220 that explains that
00:24:36.180 when the government
00:24:36.840 engages in
00:24:38.020 significant
00:24:38.580 encouragement to
00:24:39.400 private actors to
00:24:40.320 censor speech,
00:24:41.240 that the government
00:24:42.020 is liable for
00:24:43.120 violating the
00:24:44.160 First Amendment.
00:24:45.580 And here's what
00:24:46.420 the court wrote
00:24:47.000 in conclusion.
00:24:48.620 The evidence
00:24:49.680 produced thus far
00:24:50.900 depicts an
00:24:53.200 almost dystopian
00:24:54.600 scenario.
00:24:55.960 During the
00:24:56.760 COVID-19
00:24:57.500 pandemic, a
00:24:59.200 period best
00:25:00.320 categorized by
00:25:01.520 widespread doubt
00:25:02.960 and uncertainty,
00:25:04.940 the United States
00:25:06.240 government seemed
00:25:07.240 to have assumed
00:25:08.100 a role similar
00:25:09.720 to an Orwellian
00:25:11.820 ministry
00:25:12.900 history of truth.
00:25:14.600 Wow.
00:25:16.680 That's a federal
00:25:17.820 court in an order
00:25:19.460 against the Biden
00:25:20.500 administration.
00:25:21.200 The Biden
00:25:21.480 administration is
00:25:22.240 freaking out about
00:25:22.980 this.
00:25:24.840 You hear the
00:25:26.440 court put it that
00:25:27.420 way, and this is
00:25:28.560 where I smile
00:25:30.200 because this is
00:25:31.560 such a significant
00:25:32.660 win for freedom
00:25:34.240 of speech and
00:25:34.940 also not having a
00:25:36.240 government like you
00:25:37.420 see that influences
00:25:38.820 and runs media
00:25:40.200 in places like
00:25:41.720 Russia and
00:25:42.540 China and
00:25:43.560 Venezuela and
00:25:44.520 Cuba.
00:25:45.300 And the idea
00:25:46.340 that you can
00:25:46.880 silence your
00:25:48.120 political opposition,
00:25:49.220 which is exactly
00:25:50.320 what the government
00:25:51.080 has been doing,
00:25:52.680 clearly under the
00:25:53.980 Biden administration,
00:25:55.060 this important day.
00:25:56.040 Now, Senator,
00:25:56.400 this is also going to
00:25:57.320 have a big impact,
00:25:58.340 I think, on this
00:25:59.060 election cycle coming
00:26:00.220 up because this is
00:26:01.660 what they were able
00:26:02.220 to do in the last
00:26:02.900 election cycle, in the
00:26:04.420 presidential election
00:26:05.140 cycle, which was to
00:26:06.420 say, okay, we're
00:26:07.200 going to really start
00:26:08.140 ratcheting up and
00:26:09.100 silencing people and
00:26:10.660 shutting down their
00:26:11.560 reach, and Democrats
00:26:13.200 realized their secret
00:26:14.320 weapon was just pick
00:26:16.080 up the phone and say,
00:26:16.980 I am the government,
00:26:18.560 you're the private
00:26:19.600 sector, I need you to
00:26:21.520 shut down these people,
00:26:22.840 and even some of the
00:26:23.760 accounts they were
00:26:24.380 shutting down were
00:26:25.400 people that had 500,
00:26:26.640 800 followers, and
00:26:28.360 then they said
00:26:28.920 something that went
00:26:29.560 viral, and they're
00:26:30.180 like, yeah, we don't
00:26:30.680 like, we don't even
00:26:31.280 know who this person
00:26:31.920 is, we don't even
00:26:32.680 know what they're
00:26:33.080 saying, they had a
00:26:34.300 treat that went viral,
00:26:35.220 we don't like it,
00:26:36.000 therefore shut down
00:26:36.800 their account, and
00:26:37.460 they did it.
00:26:38.140 Well, and it's even
00:26:39.160 worse than that, so
00:26:40.480 these big tech
00:26:41.280 companies are staffed
00:26:42.780 in significant parts
00:26:43.980 by alums from the
00:26:46.720 federal government,
00:26:47.440 from the Obama
00:26:48.300 administration, from
00:26:49.360 the Biden
00:26:49.800 administration, you've
00:26:51.140 got Yoel Roth who
00:26:52.380 claimed that the
00:26:53.560 Trump administration
00:26:54.600 were, quote,
00:26:55.820 literal Nazis, so
00:26:58.200 these are hardcore
00:26:59.860 radical leftists,
00:27:01.380 they're already eager
00:27:02.460 to use their monopoly
00:27:04.520 power to silence
00:27:05.500 speech, but the
00:27:07.220 government is urging
00:27:10.000 them, any speech
00:27:11.560 they dislike, they
00:27:13.200 were urging them
00:27:14.320 to silence, and I
00:27:15.460 want to make an
00:27:16.320 important clarification,
00:27:17.840 because to the
00:27:19.000 extent you're seeing
00:27:20.200 discussion of this in
00:27:21.240 the corporate media, and
00:27:21.980 the discussion is quite
00:27:22.820 limited, but to the
00:27:24.000 extent you see it,
00:27:25.300 you're seeing
00:27:26.860 histrionic reaction
00:27:28.080 from Democrats and
00:27:29.280 corporate media
00:27:29.860 analysts saying, well,
00:27:31.300 how can this be that
00:27:32.700 the government is
00:27:33.400 prohibited from
00:27:34.100 communicating, this is
00:27:35.220 a danger to our
00:27:36.620 country, let's be
00:27:38.200 clear, the injunction
00:27:40.180 explicitly includes
00:27:41.700 carve-outs for
00:27:43.460 communication with
00:27:44.420 social media companies
00:27:45.540 that is permissible,
00:27:47.600 including notifying
00:27:48.960 companies about
00:27:49.700 criminal activities,
00:27:51.880 notifying social media
00:27:52.960 companies about
00:27:53.680 national security
00:27:54.480 threats, and
00:27:55.880 notifying them about
00:27:57.060 threats to public
00:27:58.000 safety, and also
00:27:58.940 speech that is not
00:28:00.520 protected by the
00:28:01.420 First Amendment is
00:28:02.280 expressly exempted from
00:28:03.840 the injunction, so
00:28:05.140 this injunction is
00:28:06.120 narrowed to, Biden
00:28:08.220 administration, you
00:28:09.480 cannot ask social
00:28:11.140 media companies to
00:28:12.740 censor political
00:28:14.000 speech because you
00:28:15.380 disagree with it and
00:28:16.920 dislike it, that is
00:28:18.120 not how the First
00:28:19.100 Amendment operates, and
00:28:20.680 I guarantee you if
00:28:22.080 you are watching a
00:28:23.080 Democrat or a
00:28:24.380 corporate media
00:28:24.980 analyst talk about
00:28:25.980 this, they're going
00:28:27.120 to suggest that the
00:28:28.160 government can no
00:28:28.940 longer talk to the
00:28:30.220 social media companies
00:28:31.120 at all, that is
00:28:32.720 categorically false.
00:28:34.320 Yeah, and look, you
00:28:35.920 know some of them are
00:28:36.620 going to try to still
00:28:37.280 keep the back
00:28:37.800 channels going, and
00:28:38.780 they're going to try
00:28:39.260 to get around this,
00:28:40.480 and that's the
00:28:41.180 question, is will there
00:28:42.140 be enforcement from
00:28:43.360 this, and I hope that
00:28:45.060 there certainly is.
00:28:45.880 I want to tell you
00:28:46.260 about our friends at
00:28:46.840 Chalk, if you're a
00:28:47.540 guy and you're sick
00:28:48.180 and tired of feeling
00:28:49.860 like you are losing
00:28:51.380 your strength and your
00:28:52.600 vitality, and weakness
00:28:54.360 and complacency is
00:28:55.580 setting in, you just
00:28:57.060 don't feel like
00:28:57.680 yourself, you're tired,
00:28:59.240 you're fatigued, you
00:29:00.020 want to work out, you
00:29:00.940 want to be active, but
00:29:02.280 it's just not like
00:29:03.520 it used to be, then
00:29:04.580 you need to check

00:30:31.860 Listen to the Honest

00:30:33.460 iHeartRadio or
00:30:34.480 wherever you listen to
00:30:35.320 your podcasts.
00:30:37.560 Senator, I want to
00:30:38.600 also ask you about
00:30:39.800 another big issue, and
00:30:41.720 this deals with
00:30:43.460 China.
00:30:45.300 This is not a
00:30:46.380 normal conversation
00:30:47.460 that you would think
00:30:48.380 you and I would be
00:30:49.000 having.
00:30:49.860 There's a movie that's
00:30:51.440 out, the Barbie
00:30:52.300 movie, Barbie and
00:30:53.300 Ken.
00:30:53.620 It is now making
00:30:56.160 waves for a map in
00:30:59.120 that movie, and it's
00:31:01.400 basically so Barbie and
00:31:03.380 the people that made
00:31:04.540 the movie could get it,
00:31:06.300 make a bunch of money
00:31:07.160 in China by making
00:31:08.460 them happy in Beijing.
00:31:10.600 Explain this insane
00:31:12.240 story.
00:31:13.540 Well, sure.
00:31:14.360 Barbie is an
00:31:15.900 upcoming summer
00:31:17.040 blockbuster targeting,
00:31:19.220 obviously, young girls,
00:31:21.280 teenage girls who are a
00:31:22.500 huge movie-going
00:31:23.520 audience, and
00:31:25.100 there's a scene in
00:31:26.360 the movie Barbie
00:31:27.040 where Barbie is in
00:31:30.060 front of a map of the
00:31:31.740 world, and it's a
00:31:32.580 cartoon map.
00:31:33.480 It's not a very
00:31:34.520 detailed map.
00:31:35.460 So, for example, it
00:31:37.040 has drawn out, one of
00:31:39.300 the places on the map
00:31:40.100 is Asia.
00:31:40.880 So it's a map of the
00:31:41.540 world and it has Asia.
00:31:43.060 But off to the east
00:31:45.320 of Asia, they have
00:31:47.960 lines drawn in the
00:31:50.900 South China Sea, and
00:31:52.780 it's called the Nine
00:31:54.000 Dash Line.
00:31:55.700 And the Nine Dash
00:31:56.700 Line is a line that
00:31:58.620 the Communist Party of
00:31:59.760 China is pushing out
00:32:02.440 because they are
00:32:04.120 claiming that China
00:32:05.320 has sovereignty over
00:32:07.900 virtually the entirety of
00:32:09.400 the South China Sea, and
00:32:10.500 that is contrary to
00:32:11.780 international law.
00:32:13.240 The South China Sea, the
00:32:14.440 claim is disputed by
00:32:16.540 Vietnam, by Malaysia, by
00:32:18.120 Indonesia, by Brunei, by
00:32:19.420 the Philippines, and
00:32:20.200 Taiwan.
00:32:21.500 And, in fact, an
00:32:22.540 international tribunal
00:32:23.680 at The Hague found the
00:32:26.140 Chinese Communist Party's
00:32:27.500 map is illegal.
00:32:28.840 In other words, that
00:32:29.720 their claims of
00:32:30.540 sovereignty, they're
00:32:31.300 trying to steal
00:32:32.540 control over
00:32:34.460 international waters
00:32:35.580 and waters that other
00:32:36.980 nations have
00:32:37.680 sovereignty, and it's a
00:32:39.060 power grab.
00:32:40.240 And what's bizarre, you
00:32:41.800 have this cartoon map
00:32:43.320 with no specificity.
00:32:46.320 Asia is one block on
00:32:47.980 it, and yet there in
00:32:49.900 the sea are the Nine
00:32:51.120 Dashes that are exactly
00:32:53.240 what the CCP wants to
00:32:54.940 claim the South China Sea
00:32:56.380 is theirs.
00:32:57.340 And in response to this,
00:32:58.880 the country of Vietnam
00:33:00.120 officially banned the
00:33:02.940 movie from Vietnam.
00:33:04.080 They said this is Chinese
00:33:05.340 communist propaganda.
00:33:07.200 And it is a sad pattern.
00:33:09.440 We've seen an ongoing
00:33:10.920 pattern of Hollywood
00:33:13.440 movies kowtowing to the
00:33:15.540 Chinese communists, and
00:33:16.740 at times censoring their
00:33:19.240 movies, but at times
00:33:21.440 doing what they're doing
00:33:22.540 here, which is just
00:33:23.500 happily repeating
00:33:25.780 CCP propaganda because
00:33:27.620 they want to sell the movie
00:33:28.680 in China.
00:33:29.480 And they recognize that
00:33:31.600 repeating what makes the
00:33:33.880 Chinese Communist Party
00:33:35.180 and the government happy
00:33:36.740 increases the chances that
00:33:39.060 the government will allow
00:33:40.100 the movie to be sold in
00:33:41.300 China.
00:33:41.920 But I've got to say it is
00:33:42.840 shameful to see Hollywood
00:33:45.180 acting as a mouthpiece
00:33:47.260 for the Chinese
00:33:49.480 communists.
00:33:50.280 You know, when I saw
00:33:51.200 this, I tweeted out, I
00:33:53.920 said, well, you know, I
00:33:56.040 guess Barbie is made in
00:33:58.080 China, and a vast number
00:33:59.340 of the Barbie dolls sold
00:34:00.400 in America are in fact
00:34:01.580 manufactured in China.
00:34:03.000 But it is sad to see a
00:34:04.980 movie aimed at young
00:34:06.240 girls is acting as the
00:34:09.420 mouthpiece for Chinese
00:34:11.220 communist propaganda.
00:34:12.900 It's not just that, too.
00:34:14.560 There's also problems here
00:34:15.820 in the U.S.
00:34:16.580 There's an amazing movie
00:34:18.120 that you just went to
00:34:19.400 that talks about human
00:34:21.100 trafficking and children
00:34:22.760 that are being sex
00:34:23.580 trafficked and what a
00:34:24.460 problem it is in the
00:34:25.280 world.
00:34:25.960 It actually was the
00:34:26.940 number one movie over the
00:34:28.080 July 4th weekend, beating
00:34:29.400 out Indiana Jones, which is
00:34:30.600 incredible.
00:34:31.480 And it was actually in half
00:34:32.480 the number of theaters,
00:34:33.420 apparently, as Indiana
00:34:34.180 Jones.
00:34:35.140 And this is what's
00:34:36.300 encouraging to me,
00:34:37.560 senators, the fact that it
00:34:38.480 seems like as much as
00:34:40.340 they're trying to force
00:34:41.900 this propaganda, whether
00:34:43.900 it be Barbie, whether it
00:34:45.000 be Target, whether it be
00:34:46.100 Disney.
00:34:46.620 I mean, they had massive
00:34:47.480 layoffs the other day
00:34:48.260 with talent at ESPN.
00:34:49.680 A lot of people believe
00:34:50.780 this is because of Disney
00:34:51.760 and ESPN.
00:34:52.260 People just had enough of
00:34:53.020 their woke propaganda and
00:34:54.640 their obsession with Black
00:34:55.840 Lives Matter propaganda
00:34:57.160 on ESPN day and night
00:34:59.980 for several years.
00:35:01.520 And people just said, I'm
00:35:02.580 done with you.
00:35:03.380 And now we're seeing that
00:35:05.080 conservatives are starting
00:35:06.340 to fight back with their
00:35:07.520 dollars, not spending them
00:35:08.900 places, but also this
00:35:10.280 movie that just came out
00:35:11.240 that is that is dealing
00:35:12.260 with a tough issue, an
00:35:14.280 important issue, goes to
00:35:15.700 number one with half of
00:35:17.320 the of the distribution in
00:35:18.980 theaters as the big
00:35:20.580 Hollywood movie, you know,
00:35:22.540 with Indiana Jones.
00:35:25.580 Yeah, that's exactly right.
00:35:27.040 And so this movie Sound of
00:35:28.400 Freedom, I actually on July
00:35:29.680 3rd, I took my mom to see
00:35:31.000 it and and my mom loves
00:35:33.020 movies.
00:35:33.440 So do I.
00:35:33.940 So the two of us went to
00:35:34.780 see it.
00:35:35.060 It's a fantastic movie.
00:35:37.080 Jim Caviezel, who played
00:35:38.660 Jesus in The Passion of
00:35:40.060 the Christ, is a incredibly
00:35:41.580 talented actor.
00:35:42.660 He plays the lead.
00:35:44.060 He plays Tim Ballard.
00:35:45.120 So this is a true story.
00:35:46.200 Tim Ballard was a DHS,
00:35:48.240 Department of Homeland
00:35:48.780 Security agent who was
00:35:51.080 working, fighting child
00:35:52.680 trafficking.
00:35:53.220 And and and he saw the
00:35:55.080 horrific evils of child
00:35:57.200 sex trafficking.
00:35:58.000 There is a massive
00:35:59.020 multi-billion dollar
00:36:00.500 business of kidnapping
00:36:02.480 and selling children for
00:36:04.900 sex trafficking.
00:36:05.700 And it is horrific.
00:36:07.920 It is evil.
00:36:09.220 And and the true story,
00:36:10.820 Tim Ballard ended up
00:36:11.800 actually leaving his job
00:36:14.140 and going down to
00:36:16.080 Latin America to rescue
00:36:17.780 over a hundred kids who
00:36:20.660 had been kidnapped by
00:36:22.200 child sex traffickers.
00:36:23.400 And and it's it's a true
00:36:25.060 story.
00:36:25.460 And I got to tell you, I
00:36:26.220 met Tim Ballard.
00:36:27.620 Jim Jim Caviezel came by my
00:36:29.240 office a couple of weeks
00:36:30.200 ago.
00:36:30.380 We talked about the movie
00:36:31.620 and let me encourage
00:36:33.180 everyone.
00:36:33.740 Go watch this movie.
00:36:35.200 It's inspiring.
00:36:36.620 I mean, it's an amazing
00:36:38.480 true story.
00:36:39.340 So much of what comes out
00:36:40.300 of Hollywood is garbage
00:36:41.180 today.
00:36:41.640 It's propaganda.
00:36:42.760 This is a true story
00:36:43.940 about fighting.
00:36:45.600 Look, you can disagree
00:36:46.700 about all sorts of
00:36:47.760 political issues, but the
00:36:50.160 sick predators who
00:36:52.600 engage in in sexual
00:36:54.880 assault of little kids
00:36:56.820 and sell little
00:36:58.700 children to pedophiles
00:37:00.120 that that I worked a
00:37:02.640 lot of years in law
00:37:03.420 enforcement.
00:37:04.040 I dealt with a lot of
00:37:05.060 horrible crimes.
00:37:06.380 I dealt with murders.
00:37:07.340 I dealt with all sorts
00:37:08.180 of crimes.
00:37:09.040 The ones that always got
00:37:10.920 me the most upset, the
00:37:12.280 most angry are the
00:37:14.080 bastards that hurt kids.
00:37:15.460 I think there is a a
00:37:17.460 special circle of hell
00:37:19.280 devoted to people who
00:37:21.080 hurt kids and the
00:37:23.220 corporate media and
00:37:24.460 most of Hollywood.
00:37:25.640 They didn't want this
00:37:26.240 movie made.
00:37:27.340 They don't want anyone
00:37:28.060 to know about it.
00:37:28.840 It gets no press.
00:37:30.280 In fact, when I met
00:37:31.000 with Jim Caviezel, the
00:37:32.420 Houston Chronicle wrote
00:37:33.540 a hit piece saying, oh,
00:37:35.340 Jim Caviezel is this
00:37:36.280 crazy conspiracy theorist
00:37:37.800 guy without talking
00:37:40.140 about the movie, without
00:37:41.280 talking about the
00:37:42.260 horrors of child sex
00:37:43.400 trafficking.
00:37:44.600 Instead, they just
00:37:45.680 wanted to paint it as a
00:37:46.760 tinfoil hat.
00:37:48.220 Crazy thing.
00:37:50.180 This is a true story.
00:37:52.480 And you are right.
00:37:53.920 On July 4th, Sound of
00:37:56.560 Freedom was the number
00:37:57.700 one box office movie in
00:38:00.480 the country.
00:38:00.960 It beat Indiana Jones.
00:38:03.200 Sound of Freedom was on
00:38:04.180 just over 2,000 screens.
00:38:06.520 Indiana Jones was on over
00:38:07.920 4,000 screens.
00:38:09.880 And nevertheless, Sound of
00:38:11.600 Freedom was number one.
00:38:12.520 I want to encourage
00:38:13.060 everyone to go watch it.
00:38:14.340 But it's a sign of just how
00:38:16.400 messed up Hollywood is that
00:38:17.940 they don't want you to
00:38:19.040 watch it.
00:38:20.500 Yeah.
00:38:20.980 And they don't want to
00:38:22.160 talk about it.
00:38:22.780 They're hoping that this
00:38:23.620 weekend it dies, which, as
00:38:25.740 you know, we've got a lot
00:38:27.120 of verdict listeners that
00:38:28.380 may not even know this
00:38:29.800 movie exists.
00:38:30.880 It's a movie you need to
00:38:32.080 go see, and you need to go
00:38:33.320 see it this weekend.
00:38:34.660 And the reason why is
00:38:35.600 because after last weekend,
00:38:37.620 there are some theaters
00:38:38.720 that will pick up this
00:38:39.460 movie.
00:38:39.860 And if more people go this
00:38:41.140 weekend, more theaters will
00:38:42.860 pick it up next week because
00:38:44.000 they think they're missing
00:38:44.760 out on profits.
00:38:46.100 That's why it's so
00:38:46.900 important.
00:38:47.380 Don't wait for it to come
00:38:48.340 out.
00:38:48.740 This is a movie that
00:38:50.420 conservatives and
00:38:52.160 Christians should support.
00:38:54.220 This is put your money
00:38:55.540 where your mouth is and go
00:38:57.140 out there because if we
00:38:58.220 succeed in these movies
00:39:00.460 being successful, Senator,
00:39:02.060 more of them are going to
00:39:03.180 be made, which is the best
00:39:04.380 part of all.
00:39:05.580 Well, and Ben, I'll tell
00:39:06.820 you, when we finished
00:39:07.620 watching the movie on the
00:39:08.680 afternoon of July 3rd, at
00:39:10.780 the end of the movie, the
00:39:12.600 entire theater burst out in
00:39:14.740 applause.
00:39:16.100 When's the last time you
00:39:16.940 were at a movie where that
00:39:17.700 happened?
00:39:18.340 Yeah.
00:39:18.940 I mean, it is uplifting.
00:39:20.800 It's horrifying.
00:39:21.620 I mean, the evil of it is
00:39:23.480 horrifying, but it also is a
00:39:25.400 demonstration that you can
00:39:26.660 go and you can fight
00:39:28.720 against this evil and you
00:39:30.820 can prevail.
00:39:31.540 And that's it's important
00:39:33.940 for people to understand.
00:39:35.140 People don't like to talk
00:39:36.500 about modern day slavery.
00:39:39.160 And sadly, under the Biden
00:39:40.680 administration, with their
00:39:41.740 open borders at the
00:39:42.740 southern border, human
00:39:44.220 trafficking has exploded.
00:39:46.100 The results of open
00:39:48.080 borders, I'll give you an
00:39:48.980 amazing statistic we've
00:39:50.180 talked about on verdict
00:39:51.020 before.
00:39:51.500 This statistic is from the
00:39:53.280 New York Times.
00:39:53.980 In 2018, the Mexican drug
00:39:56.120 cartels made in revenue from
00:39:58.200 human trafficking roughly
00:40:00.100 $500 million.
00:40:02.580 Last year, they made over
00:40:04.360 $13 billion from human
00:40:07.300 trafficking.
00:40:07.820 that is a 2,600% increase.
00:40:11.320 This is evil and it is
00:40:13.100 modern day slavery.
00:40:15.100 Now, that being said, as
00:40:17.560 bad as Hollywood is, as
00:40:19.740 much as they don't want you
00:40:21.040 to hear and watch movies that
00:40:23.160 expose things like this, as
00:40:25.620 much as they're willing to
00:40:26.880 kowtow to communist China, we
00:40:29.820 did have a significant victory
00:40:31.300 recently, which is the pattern of
00:40:34.820 Hollywood censoring for China
00:40:37.560 has been an ongoing pattern.
00:40:39.160 And I've been calling it out
00:40:41.000 for a long time.
00:40:41.900 So, for example, the movie
00:40:44.320 Top Gun Maverick.
00:40:46.180 You remember the first movie
00:40:47.660 Top Gun?
00:40:48.740 Yeah.
00:40:52.000 Maverick had on the back of
00:40:53.800 his jacket a series of patches
00:40:57.680 of different flags.
00:40:59.280 And two of the flags that were on
00:41:00.480 the back of his jacket were the
00:41:02.700 flag of Japan and the flag of
00:41:05.380 Taiwan.
00:41:06.460 Well, the Chinese communists
00:41:08.100 don't like Japan and they hate,
00:41:10.660 they loathe Taiwan.
00:41:12.260 And so the movie Top Gun Maverick,
00:41:14.740 the sequel, they edited those
00:41:16.940 patches out.
00:41:17.720 They just made them sort of
00:41:18.840 random patterns that didn't
00:41:20.380 correspond to any country
00:41:21.640 because they didn't want to
00:41:22.700 offend the Chinese Communist
00:41:24.400 Party by referring to Japan or
00:41:27.700 Taiwan.
00:41:28.240 And I called him out.
00:41:29.120 I said, really, are you serious?
00:41:30.720 Are you telling me that Maverick
00:41:32.880 is afraid of the Chinese
00:41:34.960 communists?
00:41:36.300 I mean, it was insane.
00:41:38.240 And a bit of good news.
00:41:39.440 Actually, the studio ended up
00:41:40.820 putting them back.
00:41:41.460 So when the movie was released,
00:41:42.480 they had the patches back and
00:41:44.240 there was enough criticism.
00:41:45.440 They got embarrassed.
00:41:46.180 Another example, Hollywood, the
00:41:48.440 movie Bohemian Rhapsody.
00:41:49.700 It's another great movie.
00:41:50.840 It's a biopic of Freddie
00:41:52.040 Mercury, the lead singer of Queen.
00:41:54.620 The studio that produced it
00:41:56.760 edited out scenes that showed
00:41:59.660 that Freddie Mercury was gay
00:42:01.000 because the Chinese communists
00:42:02.240 didn't want to acknowledge that
00:42:03.780 Freddie Mercury was gay.
00:42:05.220 Now, Ben, how the hell do you
00:42:06.760 tell Freddie Mercury's story
00:42:08.200 without acknowledging he was
00:42:09.200 gay?
00:42:09.500 It was a pretty damn important
00:42:10.560 part of his life.
00:42:12.080 And, you know, Hollywood is
00:42:13.780 always happy to virtue signal
00:42:15.520 about how woke they are,
00:42:16.740 unless they're trying to make
00:42:18.800 millions of dollars from China,
00:42:20.120 in which case they're like,
00:42:21.200 nope, edit it out.
00:42:22.620 Guess what?
00:42:23.100 Freddie Mercury no longer gay.
00:42:24.400 Let's just take it out.
00:42:26.060 It was embarrassing.
00:42:28.020 It was wrong.
00:42:29.520 And so I introduced legislation
00:42:31.260 called the Script Act.
00:42:33.820 And what the Script Act said
00:42:35.180 is that if a Chinese studio,
00:42:40.320 sorry, if an American studio
00:42:41.860 engages in censorship at the
00:42:45.500 behest of the Chinese government
00:42:46.960 or in order to please the
00:42:48.360 Chinese government,
00:42:49.140 then they are not eligible
00:42:51.780 to use U.S. government assets.
00:42:54.920 So there are lots of movies
00:42:56.220 where movie studios use
00:42:57.940 assets of the U.S. government.
00:42:59.800 Think something like Top Gun,
00:43:01.160 where they're using fighter jets
00:43:02.240 or they're using ships
00:43:03.160 or they're using tanks
00:43:04.180 or they're using Humvees
00:43:05.920 or think, you know,
00:43:07.500 a movie where you're down
00:43:08.640 on the border,
00:43:09.360 you're down fighting drugs
00:43:10.440 and you're up in
00:43:11.140 a Black Hawk helicopter.
00:43:12.960 There are all sorts of instances
00:43:14.440 where the U.S. government
00:43:15.540 allows Hollywood
00:43:17.300 to use their assets
00:43:19.160 to film great action movies.
00:43:21.340 The Script Act says,
00:43:23.560 okay, if you're going to let
00:43:25.560 the Chinese communist government
00:43:26.960 censor your films,
00:43:28.640 you can't use U.S. government
00:43:30.760 assets to do it.
00:43:32.300 And the Script Act,
00:43:33.500 I introduced it,
00:43:34.340 I fought for it,
00:43:35.040 I'll tell you,
00:43:35.440 the Democrats resisted it mightily,
00:43:39.580 that Hollywood supports
00:43:40.900 the Democrats significantly.
00:43:42.640 We had a huge battle
00:43:43.700 back and forth.
00:43:45.680 Ultimately,
00:43:46.700 the full Script Act didn't pass,
00:43:49.080 but major portions
00:43:50.360 of the Script Act
00:43:51.380 passed in the fiscal year
00:43:54.880 2023 National Defense
00:43:57.640 Authorization Bill
00:43:58.840 and in the past week,
00:44:01.080 the Pentagon issued
00:44:03.540 their guidance and guidelines
00:44:05.300 pursuant to the legislation
00:44:06.660 that I wrote,
00:44:08.220 making clear to studios,
00:44:10.040 if you let the Chinese government
00:44:13.840 censor your movies,
00:44:15.580 you're ineligible to use
00:44:17.280 U.S. government assets
00:44:18.480 and hopefully,
00:44:19.320 it will be a major incentive
00:44:22.040 to stop this garbage,
00:44:23.600 to stop Hollywood
00:44:24.660 from kowtowing
00:44:25.720 to the Chinese communists.
00:44:27.160 You mentioned victories
00:44:28.420 and there's one more
00:44:29.220 that deals with a dear friend
00:44:30.200 of ours in a book
00:44:30.900 that's coming out
00:44:31.540 and I'm going to tell you
00:44:32.080 about that in a second,
00:44:32.780 but let me tell you real quick
00:44:33.540 about Patriot Mobile.
00:44:34.820 We have talked so much
00:44:36.100 about woke corporations
00:44:37.480 that come after your values
00:44:40.040 and why would you give them
00:44:42.140 your money, right?
00:44:43.200 There's one category
00:44:44.280 that you just hadn't had
00:44:45.440 an option for years
00:44:46.520 and that is with your cell phone.
00:44:47.700 The big three mobile companies
00:44:50.060 out there,
00:44:50.680 they've been dumping
00:44:51.360 millions of dollars
00:44:52.640 into leftist causes
00:44:54.160 year after year.
00:44:55.580 Many of the big mobile companies
00:44:57.720 out there have actually
00:44:58.700 given massive donations
00:45:00.580 to Planned Parenthood.
00:45:02.200 Well, now you've got an option,
00:45:04.040 Patriot Mobile.
00:45:05.400 They are America's only
00:45:07.140 Christian conservative
00:45:08.560 wireless provider
00:45:09.800 offering dependable nationwide coverage
00:45:12.580 on all three major networks
00:45:15.260 so you get the best possible service
00:45:17.080 in your area
00:45:18.140 without the woke propaganda
00:45:19.760 pushed by leftists
00:45:20.860 working hard to destroy
00:45:21.820 this country.
00:45:22.940 Now, when you switch
00:45:23.620 to Patriot Mobile,
00:45:24.920 every month a portion
00:45:26.080 of your bill
00:45:26.740 at No Extra Charge You
00:45:27.760 is going to be used
00:45:28.440 to support free speech
00:45:29.720 and religious freedom.
00:45:31.140 Going to be there
00:45:31.680 to use to support
00:45:32.660 the sanctity of life
00:45:33.640 and adoptions.
00:45:35.200 They're also going to support
00:45:36.640 the Second Amendment.
00:45:37.820 Our military,
00:45:38.520 our veterans,
00:45:39.060 our first responders,
00:45:40.380 this is what they do
00:45:42.460 every month
00:45:43.220 when you pay your bill.
00:45:44.720 So if you want to stand
00:45:45.900 with a company
00:45:46.320 that stands with your values
00:45:47.520 and you want to fight back
00:45:48.780 every time you use your phone,
00:45:50.440 switch to Patriot Mobile.
00:45:52.240 You can keep your same
00:45:52.900 cell phone number
00:45:53.700 if you want to
00:45:54.320 and your same cell phone
00:45:55.320 that you have in your hand.
00:45:56.740 Call them.
00:45:57.980 878-PATRIOT.
00:45:59.920 That's 878-PATRIOT.
00:46:03.600 878-PATRIOT.
00:46:06.100 Or online at
00:46:07.280 PatriotMobile.com
00:46:08.720 slash verdict.
00:46:09.880 Use the promo code
00:46:11.180 VERDICT
00:46:11.660 and you'll get the best
00:46:12.780 deals plus free
00:46:14.380 activation of the year.
00:46:16.160 That's PatriotMobile.com
00:46:18.460 slash verdict.
00:46:19.560 There's one more
00:46:20.920 good news story
00:46:21.820 and this one
00:46:22.640 for me
00:46:23.420 just makes me happy.
00:46:25.000 It's a dear friend of mine
00:46:26.500 and a dear friend of yours.
00:46:28.600 Mark Levin
00:46:29.240 has his new book
00:46:31.120 that is coming out soon.
00:46:33.640 And it came out
00:46:35.220 that Target had said
00:46:36.580 they would not sell
00:46:37.780 Mark Levin's new book
00:46:39.420 in stores.
00:46:40.460 They were apparently afraid
00:46:41.660 that they were going
00:46:42.680 to offend liberals
00:46:44.360 so they were not
00:46:45.260 going to carry it.
00:46:46.120 Now Mark Levin
00:46:47.140 pretty much everything
00:46:48.080 he touches in the book world
00:46:49.220 becomes a New York Times
00:46:50.160 bestseller.
00:46:51.440 This is another example
00:46:52.500 of why I'm not going to
00:46:53.320 give a damn dime
00:46:54.160 of my money to Target.
00:46:56.180 But there was so much
00:46:57.460 backlash so quickly
00:46:58.800 that Target realized
00:47:01.100 we don't want to step
00:47:02.140 in it again
00:47:03.180 right after
00:47:04.040 what they just did
00:47:04.880 with all of their
00:47:06.140 activist clothing
00:47:07.400 and everything
00:47:08.040 they were doing
00:47:08.660 binding and tucking
00:47:10.060 outfits with their
00:47:11.200 LGBTQ Gay Pride Month
00:47:13.820 that they now
00:47:14.980 have reversed course
00:47:16.060 and this is proof
00:47:17.420 that when we get together
00:47:18.840 and focus
00:47:19.440 we can win
00:47:20.380 some of these battles.
00:47:22.560 Well that's exactly right.
00:47:24.100 This is a big victory
00:47:25.140 again for free speech
00:47:26.480 against censorship
00:47:27.400 in this case
00:47:28.220 censorship
00:47:28.760 from big business.
00:47:30.960 Mark Levin
00:47:31.420 who is a dear friend of mine
00:47:32.760 a dear friend of yours
00:47:33.740 he is the great one
00:47:35.260 and that is a title
00:47:36.340 that is fully earned
00:47:37.640 it is not hyperbole
00:47:39.760 to say I wouldn't be
00:47:40.940 in the U.S. Senate
00:47:41.740 without Mark Levin
00:47:42.700 when I was at 2%
00:47:44.340 and was just getting started
00:47:45.680 Mark had me on my show
00:47:47.240 over and over
00:47:48.120 and over again
00:47:48.980 and helped me get
00:47:50.400 get my message out
00:47:52.260 to millions of Texans
00:47:53.820 helped me prevail
00:47:56.120 by the way
00:47:56.840 another guy named
00:47:57.520 Ben Ferguson
00:47:58.140 who also hosted
00:47:59.740 a major show
00:48:00.880 had me on repeatedly
00:48:02.480 and so I'm grateful
00:48:03.360 to the both of you
00:48:04.200 and I gotta say
00:48:05.500 Democrats are still
00:48:06.380 pissed at both of you
00:48:07.740 for the good
00:48:09.440 impact you did there.
00:48:11.820 Badge of honor.
00:48:12.580 But Mark you're right
00:48:14.640 every book he writes
00:48:15.900 sells a gazillion copies
00:48:17.560 his books are fantastic
00:48:18.820 his latest book
00:48:19.820 you know Mark
00:48:21.220 is someone who's
00:48:22.200 very subtle
00:48:22.820 he has difficulty
00:48:24.080 speaking clearly
00:48:25.180 he has difficulty
00:48:26.160 saying what he really
00:48:27.120 believes
00:48:27.620 so his title
00:48:29.200 with all of the
00:48:30.180 understatement
00:48:30.960 that has made
00:48:31.920 Mark famous
00:48:32.620 the title of the book
00:48:34.240 is The Democrat Party
00:48:36.080 Hates America
00:48:36.960 well
00:48:38.040 that
00:48:39.080 you know
00:48:40.140 I haven't read
00:48:40.940 Mark's book yet
00:48:41.900 it's coming out
00:48:43.580 shortly
00:48:44.000 but I suspect
00:48:44.860 he makes a
00:48:46.060 compelling case
00:48:47.020 for the title
00:48:48.280 but Mark
00:48:49.320 tweeted out
00:48:51.020 on July 5th
00:48:52.500 Target will not
00:48:53.460 carry
00:48:53.880 The Democrat Party
00:48:54.860 Hates America
00:48:55.620 because it might
00:48:57.120 offend
00:48:57.600 Democrats
00:48:58.740 pathetic
00:48:59.860 you can go to
00:49:01.120 Amazon.com
00:49:01.960 and order directly
00:49:02.700 without going
00:49:03.380 through Democrat
00:49:03.980 Party corporatists
00:49:05.120 and I want to
00:49:05.960 thank Barnes & Noble's
00:49:07.040 Walmart and Books
00:49:07.800 a Million
00:49:08.120 for carrying the book
00:49:08.940 now
00:49:09.820 a lot of
00:49:10.720 conservatives
00:49:11.160 spoke out
00:49:11.800 against this
00:49:12.900 I spoke out
00:49:13.940 I retweeted Mark
00:49:14.900 and here's what I said
00:49:15.820 I said
00:49:16.260 not to worry
00:49:17.080 Target has built up
00:49:19.340 so much goodwill
00:49:20.560 with conservatives
00:49:21.340 that I'm sure
00:49:22.660 they won't mind
00:49:23.460 and then I said
00:49:25.340 and buy his book
00:49:26.440 because I'm sure
00:49:27.220 it's a fantastic book
00:49:28.300 well here's the good news
00:49:30.060 if you feel like
00:49:31.780 all of corporate
00:49:33.120 America is a disaster
00:49:34.380 well Mark
00:49:35.760 tweeted out
00:49:36.460 on July 6th
00:49:37.460 a day later
00:49:38.060 Target just informed
00:49:39.800 my publisher
00:49:40.380 that it is reversed course
00:49:41.660 and will be taking
00:49:43.080 my new book
00:49:43.760 in its stores
00:49:44.340 upon its release
00:49:45.240 you folks are
00:49:47.020 an immense force
00:49:48.100 for free speech

00:49:53.280 and audiences everywhere
00:49:54.580 will benefit
00:49:55.280 from your patriotism
00:49:56.480 I could not be more
00:49:58.540 proud of you
00:49:59.140 not only for how
00:49:59.960 this specific case
00:50:00.960 turned out
00:50:01.600 as there will undoubtedly
00:50:03.000 be more of this
00:50:04.020 but because you've made it clear
00:50:06.320 that you've had enough
00:50:07.800 and will exercise
00:50:09.380 your enormous power
00:50:10.740 the silent majority
00:50:12.400 is silent no longer
00:50:13.700 I'll more fully discuss
00:50:15.560 this on radio
00:50:16.260 God bless
00:50:16.960 and I thank
00:50:17.580 and salute you all
00:50:18.600 that is awesome

00:50:25.240 to see corporate America
00:50:26.340 silence views
00:50:27.580 they disagree with
00:50:28.620 should celebrate
00:50:29.840 we started this pod
00:50:31.760 by talking about
00:50:32.920 a victory for free speech
00:50:34.160 in the courtroom
00:50:34.800 and we're ending the pod
00:50:36.640 by talking about
00:50:37.480 a victory for free speech
00:50:38.780 against big business
00:50:40.580 in both instances
00:50:42.140 there is a power to truth
00:50:43.660 there is a power
00:50:44.840 to highlighting
00:50:46.520 what is real
