00:01:40.480 Union. Welcome. It is Vertical Center Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you. Senator, I love nights
00:01:46.040 like tonight. It's late. It's basically one in the morning. It is election night in America,
00:01:51.700 And we've got some results that may scare the living you-know-what out of a lot of our listeners.
00:01:57.500 Well, if you sleep well at night, you may not when you reflect on the fact that the Communist Party is taking over the Democrat Party.
00:02:09.080 We're sitting here.
00:02:10.340 It is right now 1244 a.m.
00:02:13.100 And you look at the Michigan Senate primary.
00:02:15.960 Now, it's too close to call.
00:02:18.380 So the result may be different.
00:02:19.740 But as of 1244 a.m., Abdul El-Sayed has 549,839 votes.
00:02:27.860 That's 49.7 percent.
00:02:30.620 And Haley Stevens, who is a left-wing Democrat but not a fully insane communist Islamist, is at 512,656 votes, which is 46.3 percent.
00:02:43.680 72 percent of the expected votes are in.
00:02:46.220 Now, it's too close to call, so maybe we'll wake up in the morning, and Haley Stevens will have surged and won.
00:02:54.020 Maybe.
00:02:55.520 Maybe, but look, all the polling says El Saeed is going to win.
00:02:59.740 Yeah.
00:03:00.060 And listen, right now, we don't know.
00:03:02.440 By the time you're listening to this pod, you may know.
00:03:05.700 What I will say is El Saeed is expected to win.
00:03:10.060 He's ahead right now.
00:03:12.040 And this is a sign of where the Democrat Party is.
00:03:16.220 they are 100 percent bat crap crazy yeah and that's putting it c-rated for our audience i
00:03:24.920 agree with you on that one you know crap is a nice it's like a word you can use with third
00:03:31.080 graders crap is sort of soft it's like it's not poo poo yeah but but it's it's in the neighborhood
00:03:36.500 it's verdict friendly that's how i would describe the word hey hey we we have a lot of kids a lot
00:03:41.760 teenagers a lot of the truth of the matter is i have two teenagers and and so they've heard all
00:03:47.900 the words yes but but even so have your kids heard all the words so how old are your kids now man
00:03:54.660 bradley turned 10 yesterday it was the big big double digit birthday uh the twins are seven he
00:04:00.520 has definitely heard a lot more of the words like we we've had to deal with the f-bomb in the last
00:04:05.500 six months that was like a big from him did he say it no no he didn't say it but he heard it
00:04:10.340 and he knew it was a bad word and it was like one of those like how do we navigate this one
00:04:16.260 kind of moment you know what i mean i do remember bizarrely enough in fifth grade
00:04:20.640 hearing that and this was not true but hearing that a boy named rod effed and that was the word
00:04:30.340 they used a girl named marie and by the way fifth graders were not doing that but i literally came
00:04:36.060 home crying. Like, I actually remember this in fifth grade. I was like, I didn't even fully
00:04:40.660 understand what it meant, but it upset me. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. No, we had to deal with the full.
00:04:46.420 It was like the full breakdown. Why would someone say this? And it was bad. It was one of those.
00:04:50.920 Someone said it to him or what was the context? He heard it. It's from there was a group of kids
00:04:56.840 that were a little older. They were on the golf course and it was one year old is what grade?
00:05:02.260 Second, going to third.
00:05:03.860 Okay.
00:05:04.520 So, and look, you know, he went to the same school you went to.
00:05:07.440 So, like, that's not a word you're hearing at school.
00:05:09.720 It turns out people say and do bad things at Christian schools, just like every other place on earth.
00:05:14.420 Yeah.
00:05:14.640 Okay.
00:05:14.860 So he's in second grade, and he hears the F-bomb.
00:05:18.560 And he comes to me.
00:05:19.560 He's like, hey, Dad, I heard a word.
00:05:21.740 I think it's really, really bad.
00:05:23.400 How bad is it?
00:05:24.440 And I was like, well, what was the word you heard?
00:05:27.540 He said, please don't tell Mom.
00:05:29.480 And I said, OK, like I like Ben, let me say as a fellow dad, let me just give props to you that your son is coming to you telling you that that's actually really cool.
00:05:41.600 Yeah. Look, look, every kid's going to experience this. You can't put him in a cocoon. You can't isolate them.
00:05:46.680 But I'm glad he like comes and raises it with you. That's well done on the dad front.
00:05:52.180 Yeah. Thank you. It was one of those moments. And he was like, don't tell mom. I was like, well, why?
00:05:55.980 And he goes, because then she'll never let me play golf with them again.
00:05:59.040 And I was like, you're a smart kid.
00:06:00.400 Like you're a smart, like you understood the dynamic of the whole thing.
00:06:04.280 It was, yeah.
00:06:04.940 I told him, I was like, you don't say it.
00:06:06.960 I told him, I did the, I did the, we don't say it for multiple reasons,
00:06:10.240 but you don't want to be looked at as an uneducated idiot like they are.
00:06:13.800 That's how I, by the way, I will say with teenagers also, like,
00:06:17.420 like if you listen to like sort of rap songs and modern music where they drop
00:06:22.160 curse words and F-bombs and it's, you know,
00:06:25.740 you're trying to like our girls are 15 and 18 you so you're trying to they've heard the words
00:06:31.040 they unfortunately sometimes use them we try to get them not to but like they'll play music and
00:06:37.180 they're just dropping f-bomb after f-bomb and i'm like i really don't like this like like could you
00:06:42.040 like speak like a civilized human being and they're like dad we don't even listen to the
00:06:48.520 lyrics we don't know what they are and i'm like yeah i know what they are i'm listening that's
00:06:51.820 what they're saying and so getting back to politics and substance because people are like okay we're
00:06:59.180 hearing like the therapy reports of two dads dealing with their kids um there's also a therapy
00:07:05.860 report like what the heck is happening with the democrat party yeah like this guy el saeed
00:07:13.000 all right a liberal democrat there are lots of those you know you have someone wants higher
00:07:18.660 taxes okay i don't like that you know you have someone who has all sorts of stupid views open
00:07:24.340 borders even that that's terrible it's bad for america it's bad for the world but
00:07:28.900 all the democrats support that yeah yeah medicaid for all you can go through that
00:07:34.880 yeah it's like yeah look this is a communist takeover of the democrat party and i don't use
00:07:43.260 that phrase as exaggeration. It's not hyperbole. I want to break down what it is, because I think
00:07:49.360 it is really, really dangerous for America. Yeah, it really is. And by the way, we talk about this
00:07:54.860 a lot. The stakes could not be higher than they are right now. And we finally have a president
00:07:59.260 and administration fighting hard for America first. But if conservatives like you and I lose
00:08:04.220 focus now, the same people who created this mess, they're ready and they're waiting to resume their
00:08:09.800 destructive progressive agendas. Now, protecting this momentum takes more than just votes. It takes
00:08:14.880 every American like you and I staying in the fight for our rights and our freedoms. And that's why
00:08:20.720 more and more people I know are switching to Patriot Mobile. They are America's only Christian
00:08:26.760 conservative wireless provider. Now, Patriot Mobile offers you premium priority nationwide service
00:08:32.640 on all three major U.S. networks. You get unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming.
00:08:39.200 And this is what I love, a 100% U.S.-based customer support team.
00:08:43.920 And you can switch now faster than ever before.
00:08:46.420 It literally takes minutes while you keep your same phone and your same phone number.
00:08:51.060 And then this is the best part.
00:08:52.860 Patriot Mobile puts your money towards causes defending faith, family, and freedom at no extra cost to you.
00:08:59.460 They literally contribute millions of dollars each year to organizations on the front lines fighting for our God-given rights.
00:09:06.700 and that's why I want you to make the switch because Patriot Mobile isn't just about saving
00:09:11.580 America. They literally put their business behind the fight every day and that's why I want you to
00:09:17.440 call them. In fact, I'm going to give you a free month of service. Go to PatriotMobile.com slash
00:09:22.460 verdict or 972 Patriot. Use the promo code verdict for a free month of service. That's
00:09:28.120 PatriotMobile.com slash verdict or 972 Patriot to make that switch today. All right, so let's go
00:09:35.300 back to this race in Michigan, I think the big takeaway for me, Senator, is this. The Democratic
00:09:41.140 Party, we've been saying it, it's dead. The communists, the Marxists, the socialists, yet
00:09:46.340 again have proven they have taken over. This is not San Francisco. This is not Manhattan.
00:09:51.740 This is a swing state that Donald Trump has won. And you had a very big debate there between a
00:09:59.600 establishment elected democrat who was not exactly like a moderate democrat more more liberal
00:10:05.880 democrat against a a full-blown socialist by the way an individual that's a huge anti-semite
00:10:12.240 there were countless warning signs and the voters there said yeah we like this this is now
00:10:18.660 nationwide a problem so look i don't want to overstate it i don't know that the democrat
00:10:25.160 party is dead but i do think it is at risk of dying okay i i think we are seeing a communist
00:10:34.760 takeover of the democrat party we saw it with comrade mandami who is an outright marxist he's
00:10:42.060 not a socialist don't use the language of democrat socialist he is a marxist he believes in seizing
00:10:48.080 the means of production and having government take over he is an outright communist private
00:10:53.280 property by the way he's been on the record talking about that recently abolishing private
00:10:56.680 property yes yes being able to seize it and and taking things away from the rich and and mandami
00:11:02.760 and by the way when he says the rich he means everyone like like the rich never means the rich
00:11:06.880 he means the middle class because that's where all the money is and so that's who they go after
00:11:10.540 but look mandami has endorsed a series of other communists we had three primaries in new york and
00:11:17.720 all the communists won and beat longtime incumbent Democrats. We had another communist win in
00:11:23.540 Colorado. We have this communist in Michigan who is right now winning. We don't know the exact
00:11:30.180 result. We have another communist who is likely to be the Democrat nominee for governor in
00:11:35.560 Wisconsin, about as purple a state as you can find. And the pattern across the board
00:11:41.740 is they are resurgent.
00:11:44.980 That's where the money is.
00:11:46.760 That's where the energy is in the party.
00:11:48.560 That's where the young people are.
00:11:49.840 The young people are overwhelmingly embracing socialism,
00:11:54.020 Marxism, communism.
00:11:55.760 And the rest of the Democrats,
00:11:57.920 look, I serve with 47 Democrats in the Senate.
00:12:01.900 Yeah.
00:12:02.220 Most of them would say, I'm not a communist.
00:12:05.380 And they're not fully there.
00:12:08.220 But they are terrified.
00:12:10.740 Every single Democrat in the Senate, and I assume that's true in the House as well, is utterly afraid that they're going to be primaried by some communist in their primary.
00:12:22.640 And they've seen other Democrats lose in their primaries.
00:12:24.920 And the one huge exception is John Fetterman.
00:12:29.380 John Fetterman, and it's like Sherlock Holmes and the hound of the Baskervilles and the dog that did not bark.
00:12:36.120 The fact that Fetterman is the one example makes the silence of every other Democrat so screamingly loud.
00:12:46.380 They are the dogs that are not barking.
00:12:49.100 Other than Fetterman, I do not know another Democrat who is saying this will not stand.
00:12:55.880 We are not a communist party.
00:12:58.060 And look, what does the DSA stand for?
00:13:01.680 Listen to them.
00:13:02.460 Listen to their own platform.
00:13:03.560 Listen to what they say.
00:13:04.380 They want to rip the Constitution to threads.
00:13:06.520 They want to abolish the United States Senate.
00:13:08.880 I don't know why El-Sayed is running for the Senate because he wants to abolish the institution he's running for.
00:13:13.880 They want to make the president subservient to the House of Representatives.
00:13:17.600 They want to make the Supreme Court subservient to the House of Representatives.
00:13:20.460 What does that mean?
00:13:21.840 It means the House becomes like the Politburo.
00:13:24.420 It becomes the instrument of government power.
00:13:27.640 What does it mean when you make the Supreme Court subservient to the House?
00:13:31.800 it means you no longer have a judiciary that enforces rights that enforces the bill of rights
00:13:37.680 it means you don't have a free free speech right you don't have a religious liberty right you don't
00:13:43.040 have a second amendment right it means that the politburo which they call the house has total
00:13:49.140 power to take away your rights and there is no check and balance because whatever they the
00:13:55.060 government want to do. That's what they do. And this is what is taking over the Democrat Party.
00:14:02.760 And I got to say, it is a terrible, terrible development for America.
00:14:07.260 On August 25th, my brand new book comes out, Going Further, The Incomparable Clarence Thomas.
00:14:14.800 It tells the story of Justice Thomas, one of the true American heroes, an incredible story. It's
00:14:20.280 based on nine and a half hours of one-on-one exclusive interviews with Justice Thomas.
00:14:26.160 Justice Thomas also joins us for Verdict with Ted Cruz,
00:14:29.900 a one-on-one podcast to tell his story, both his life story and his incomparable jurisprudence.
00:14:36.640 You can pre-order it right now at the website goingfurther.com.
00:14:41.360 Goingfurther.com.
00:14:42.920 Click on the link now and pre-order the book today.
00:14:46.820 You look at these results, and let's just move into Mondani and what is happening right now in New York.
00:14:54.820 If they gain power and they get in positions of power, you now have a playbook of what they're going to do with that power.
00:15:02.700 Look at what Mondani has done.
00:15:04.580 And now we have another example of this, even with his communist grocery stores.
00:15:09.440 What's even so funny about these grocery stores is he was asked a question about these grocery stores, Senator.
00:15:15.660 And I'm sure you saw this. It's gone viral where they're like, hey, how are you going to police people coming in from maybe outside of New York City to go to these grocery stores, to buy these groceries at a reduced rate?
00:15:27.240 IDs. Yeah, IDs. Yeah. We'll just we'll just make sure they hold up their ID and they show us that they actually live in New York City.
00:15:34.160 So you can vote in the election without showing an ID, but you can't get your communist groceries without an ID. Got it.
00:15:42.200 That is Democrat logic. If you want to vote, you don't need an idea. In fact, we're going to stop anyone from asking for an ID. If you want to buy government lettuce, show me a damn ID, you thief.
00:15:54.400 Yeah. How is that not, by the way, racist? Because they said showing an ID was a form of racism. And yet to show an ID to buy milk or eggs, that's not racist. I'm confused on their definition of racism now.
00:16:07.240 And by the way, I want to read a thread from a guy named Nick Connors who is in the grocery business, and it was actually a very interesting thread that I read on Twitter.
00:16:19.660 He said, I downloaded and reviewed NYC's grocery store RFP as someone who's built businesses and bought a lot of food.
00:16:25.280 Wow. Forget for a moment whether the government should own a grocery store.
00:16:29.300 Let's review the doc instead.
00:16:30.780 Here we go.
00:16:31.920 And by the way, for people that don't know, RFP is a request for a proposal.
00:16:34.520 New York has put out to the public these requests for proposals for people that would want to run these communist grocery stores for them.
00:16:41.340 So NYC strongly prefers bidders who commit to all five stores.
00:16:45.120 They're going to be five government run grocery stores.
00:16:47.140 But three of the five sites haven't been identified.
00:16:51.060 Bidders are supposed to price unknown stores in unknown neighborhoods by assuming they're, quote, about 15,000 square feet.
00:17:01.140 So you don't know where it is. You don't know what's going on, but you want to price it.
00:17:05.820 Bidders get preference for operating all five stores, presumably because scale lowers cost.
00:17:12.380 But New York City awards each store separately, so an all-five bidder may win only one.
00:17:18.640 They want scale pricing while refusing to award scale.
00:17:24.040 The scores must use a limited SKU model.
00:17:27.820 they must also carry full grocery departments household goods culturally specific products
00:17:33.060 plus kosher halal vegan gluten-free dairy-free and diabetic options pick makes sense the rfp
00:17:41.760 says stores won't have deli counters or on-site food prep then its core basket includes chicken
00:17:48.180 salad egg salad potato salad fruit salad and other deli prepared foods so a deli without a deli
00:17:54.760 yeah oh and you're going to ship them in every day prepared gotcha nyc chooses and pays for the
00:18:03.880 design equipment refrigeration and fit out the operator pays utilities maintenance cleaning and
00:18:09.700 security so nyc makes the capital decisions while somebody else pays for the consequences
00:18:15.920 that's how they control the goalposts the best quote-unquote bid promises 30 discounts best in
00:18:24.540 class wages and benefits local sourcing sustainability community programs and full-time
00:18:29.980 jobs then 20 of the score goes to whoever claims they need the least subsidy low balling is the
00:18:38.360 strategy and then cost overruns are guaranteed core basket discounts must be universal quote
00:18:46.940 sticker prices not promotions then the operator must create a membership card to quote implement
00:18:53.540 a discount program which is it universal shelf price or an id card system by the way
00:19:00.720 also says it's available to all people and it doesn't even properly target their goals because
00:19:08.140 the subsidy isn't targeted no means test anyone could shop there so taxpayers will subsidize
00:19:14.720 groceries for affluent shoppers who happen to live nearby while needy families elsewhere get zero
00:19:21.280 I always thought this was a terrible idea.
00:19:27.180 They could much better help people with money.
00:19:29.260 And, hey, there are already programs that they could expand.
00:19:32.500 But after reading, now I know it's a ridiculous idea.
00:19:37.700 We have an efficient system.
00:19:39.100 Just change the outcomes.
00:19:40.860 So naturally, one asks, why would they want to build crappy grocery stores?
00:19:47.300 There's that 10 penny word again.
00:19:49.700 Yep.
00:19:50.060 that have conflicting goals and will be mismanaged because either that's their goal
00:19:55.340 or else they have no idea how actually to craft an rfp or run a business
00:20:01.740 perhaps my favorite page that i'd not included my original thread is just chef's kiss amazing
00:20:09.980 how could you possibly estimate such a thing and such a level of detail requested you might want
00:20:17.360 additional spreadsheets and then there's a spreadsheet that estimates the sales cost
00:20:22.080 core basket items the sale cost non-core basket items the cost of goods sold the cost of personnel
00:20:28.180 the cost of other operational cost programmatic like it is these are idiots who've never run a
00:20:38.020 business who don't know how to run a business who are like let's give away a bunch of free crap
00:20:43.280 let's order people to give away free crap let's not actually think about how they get the stuff
00:20:49.200 to give away and isn't this awesome we're communists yeah there is a reason do you remember
00:20:57.820 the moment the soviet union fell i remember vividly being at my grandfather's house watching
00:21:04.520 uh the berlin wall come down and i remember my grandfather getting a piece of that berlin wall
00:21:10.740 that was like my most vivid memory as a kid of like watching everything kind of fall into place
00:21:16.260 that if you said what was that moment that would be the moment for me so i will tell you there was
00:21:20.920 a moment at the time when the soviet union was collapsing you were not a texan you you were
00:21:26.700 up in memphis you you were not living in texas yep you may remember in the 1990s boris yeltsin
00:21:33.160 visited texas he visited houston texas oh and i've watched those videos of him going to grocery
00:21:38.280 stores and he went to a randall's grocery store and he walked down the aisles and he saw like
00:21:45.540 dozens and hundreds of choices frozen food and vegetables and everything and he looked at
00:21:52.180 amazement because the soviet grocery store you had one type of bread you had one type of soup
00:21:58.160 one type of meat like whatever you had you had no choices and he looked at that and there was
00:22:03.880 a moment when he realized communism can never compete with free enterprise yep mandami is
00:22:11.320 literally saying give us the soviet model yeah and we think it'll work and and here's my other
00:22:20.540 question over under on getting a legitimate company not like political propaganda bs but a
00:22:28.120 legitimate company to actually try to run these grocery stores do you think that they're going
00:22:33.060 to get these requests for proposals that aren't you know already the debt you know you're playing
00:22:37.520 the the game where it's a genuine grocery it's like yep i can do this and i want to do this
00:22:42.580 business model i think i can make money i don't think anybody would do it i i don't know how you
00:22:47.060 do business on that these grocery stores are going to go broke they're they're going to have
00:22:51.680 shortages they are requiring ids which is the most laughable the democrat part is fully vested in
00:23:00.040 saying ids are horrible racist evil things and they're requiring ids to shop at the grocery
00:23:06.600 stores and and and this is going to be and by the way if they succeeded they would drive out
00:23:12.700 of business the bodegas if you're a a like small hispanic business owner the democrats want to
00:23:19.960 bankrupt you yeah and look i i want you to listen listen for example to van jones who is a very
00:23:27.600 left-wing commentator listen to him talking about the communist party the democrat party give a
00:23:32.200 listen yeah now before we get to that i do want to talk to you real quick about how you can get
00:23:37.280 involved and pray for the people that are in desperate need right now in israel the headlines
00:23:43.720 they may change the threats facing israel they remain and while much of the world has moved on
00:23:49.940 from that story of israel being under attack to the next one israeli families they continue living
00:23:56.080 with the reality of terrorism, uncertainty, and recovery. Now, communities, they remain on alert.
00:24:02.440 Parents still think twice before sending their children back to school. And families continue
00:24:08.020 rebuilding their lives, knowing the next siren could come without warning. As Christians, we're
00:24:13.860 called to stand with God's children in times of need, just like it is right now. And that's why
00:24:20.200 the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews remains on the ground in the Holy Land each
00:24:24.860 every day. And they're providing life-saving aid, food for struggling families, emergency assistance,
00:24:31.180 even bomb shelters, and critical support for those impacted by this war. Even after the cameras leave
00:24:38.360 and the headlines fade, the fellowship remains committed to Israel's most vulnerable. And that's
00:24:43.460 why I'm asking you to join the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews in simply
00:24:47.880 praying for the people of Israel, for their protection, for their strength, and for lasting
00:24:52.740 peace because together we can remind God's people that they are not alone. If you want to know what
00:24:59.260 to pray for, you can go right now and stand with Israel in prayer by visiting prayifcj.org. That's
00:25:07.340 prayifcj.org. Okay, Van Jones, what are the stakes here for Democrats? Look, this is the whole ball
00:25:16.400 of wax um uh i'm from jackson tennessee there was a guy named gil scott heron who had a great poem
00:25:23.380 it was called the revolution will not be televised uh gil scott heron is wrong the revolution is being
00:25:29.920 televised and podcast and streamed and elected uh tonight uh why is that it's because there is a
00:25:39.360 credibility gap that's opened up between the democratic party establishment and this insurgency
00:25:45.180 People are looking at people and they're saying, you've been telling us the same thing for a long time and our lives are not even better.
00:25:50.620 We got Donald Trump twice.
00:25:52.160 There's also an innovation gap.
00:25:54.680 Why can you spend $60 million and get whooped like this?
00:26:00.220 Because the old model was you get the donors to get the consultants to buy a bunch of ads and you win.
00:26:07.620 That's how you get attention.
00:26:09.040 This movement says, I don't need donors, ads, I don't need consultants.
00:26:12.880 I'm going right to the people with TikTok and grassroots, and they've disintermediated the entire donor class, disintermediated the entire consultant class.
00:26:21.420 And this is a revolution. And so this is going to happen again and again.
00:26:25.920 The Democratic Party is now blockbuster. These kids are Netflix.
00:26:30.020 We are selling CDs out the trunk. This is Napster becoming Spotify.
00:26:34.720 And it's happening tonight. By the way, I'm trying to figure out exactly what Van Jones is saying there.
00:26:40.380 Is he terrified or is he just saying, I guess I got to get on board with this center?
00:26:45.480 Like, which one is it?
00:26:46.740 That was a weird way of putting it because it's like, is he saying this a mistake or
00:26:51.040 is he saying, well, this is the reality, so we better just get on board with it.
00:26:55.080 What is it?
00:26:55.620 I'm not sure.
00:26:56.420 Yeah, I think it's more of the former.
00:26:58.380 I think Van is my read on that is that he's being courageous and saying this is a dangerous
00:27:03.800 thing that is happening.
00:27:04.780 But he's also saying what I said at the beginning of this podcast.
00:27:08.460 This is the energy.
00:27:09.860 This is the heart. This is where the Democrat Party is. Yeah. And it's driving it forward right here.
00:27:16.360 I want you to listen to Francesca Hong. Francesca Hong is likely to be the Democrat nominee to be governor of Wisconsin.
00:27:22.860 Wisconsin is a purple state. Donald Trump carried Wisconsin in 2024.
00:27:27.900 Wisconsin is elected. It has a Republican senator. Ron Johnson has elected numerous Republican governors.
00:27:33.680 francesca hong is a full-on communist but i want to listen i want you to listen to her on cnn
00:27:40.100 explaining why she hates thanksgiving and wants to cancel thanksgiving here give a listen
00:27:44.840 one thing that they brought up as well was a post from you in 2021 um where you said americans should
00:27:52.520 cancel thanksgiving should have done this in 1621 uh the post has been deleted republicans have been
00:27:58.680 highlighting it do you still believe that uh thanksgiving should be canceled
00:28:02.800 i'm a chef and one of the first meals that i made uh that was um for the community when i was 16
00:28:13.620 was a thanksgiving meal you know i always think my hospitality background and owning a restaurant
00:28:19.620 for seven eight years that bringing folks around the table uh to share conversation and build
00:28:25.460 community is always a good thing but thanksgiving is also a time that's incredibly painful for many
00:28:31.920 people in our communities and so i think there i wanted to make sure that people understood that
00:28:37.560 there are multiple views but views can evolve and the position that i'm running for right now and i
00:28:44.340 think my background as a chef will actually help me become a better governor that's able to bring
00:28:49.460 more people to the table that that is one heck of a sales pitch right there senator so that was
00:28:56.420 caitlin collins on cnn she asked the question and and if you're not watching this on youtube or on
00:29:02.000 video you you need to watch caitlin collins eyes because she's listening to her she asked the
00:29:07.940 question hey you're running for governor of wisconsin do you still want to cancel thanksgiving
00:29:14.320 and it's clear caitlin collins wants her to say no i love thanksgiving like america's great no we
00:29:21.300 don't want to cancel thanksgiving yeah and francesca hung is like no no there's many people
00:29:26.420 who are horrified by thanksgiving and they hate america and those are my people so i'm not going
00:29:30.380 to say that i'm a chef you know i i once made a thanksgiving meal like like like it's the most
00:29:37.100 i gotta say that clip if saturday at live was willing to make fun of leftists yeah that would
00:29:45.080 that's perfectly scripted it's perfectly cast do you want to cancel and understand
00:29:51.680 so these communists they hate capitalism they hate property rights they hate the constitution
00:30:00.080 they hate free speech they hate religious liberty they hate the second amendment
00:30:05.740 they hate america i i i i that gives me no joy to say that yeah they think america is an evil
00:30:16.200 repressive racist oppressive place and they want to destroy it yep and so look that communist
00:30:25.740 hates thanksgiving you know what she also hates and i don't i don't even need to ask she hates
00:30:29.820 the fourth of july she hates christmas uh she she hates easter oh god knows she hates easter
00:30:37.660 i i i think they're two holidays she likes juneteenth and kwanzaa yeah and and even no no
00:30:46.320 no okay hold on i'm sorry i made a major mistake mayday mayday the the the time to celebrate
00:30:52.400 communist takeovers and and oppression that she supports but everything about america by the way
00:30:59.460 if you are a christian she hates you yeah if you're a jew she hates you if you're in business
00:31:05.660 she hates you if you love america she hates you and the same is true with el saeed the same is
00:31:13.320 true with mandami these communists and this is something i've said a number in a number of tv
00:31:21.200 interviews look there are republicans who are right now beating their chest and say this is
00:31:27.500 great. The Democrat party is going cray cray. So we're going to win in November because they're
00:31:32.020 so extreme. We're going to win. I am not celebrating this. Look, history shows there's
00:31:38.400 a pendulum to politics. Yes. Unfortunately, the Democrats will win again. I wish they wouldn't.
00:31:44.700 I don't want them to. But there is going to be another Democrat president. Yeah. And I would like
00:31:52.040 both national parties to be normal people who are not freaking insane yes like when there's the next
00:32:00.240 democrat president and i hope i would be thrilled if that doesn't happen in our lifetime but it will
00:32:04.920 i would like the next democrat president not to be a communist who hates america and and
00:32:13.360 what is happening to the democrat party is is there other than john fetterman is there one
00:32:20.100 democrat willing to say no we will not let our party to be taken over and by the way in the
00:32:26.140 republican party i'm standing up and saying to the anti-semites that are trying to take over our
00:32:30.740 party no we will not be a jew hating israel hating anti-capitalist anti-american party get the hell
00:32:37.840 out of our party if that's who you are you're not welcome i'm doing that in our party other than
00:32:43.420 john fetterman is there one democrat doing that in their party yeah they're all terrified we're
00:32:49.620 going to keep exposing them we're going to keep watching them don't forget we do the show monday
