00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.600 Guaranteed human.
00:00:04.460 Welcome. It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you, Senator.
00:00:08.540 Nice to have you with us.
00:00:10.300 And we have got a lot of, there's a big fight brewing in Washington right now
00:00:14.660 over mandates that deal with COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
00:00:18.740 We're going to get into that in a moment.
00:00:20.680 But before we get to this, there's some really big news
00:00:24.700 with the Biden documents, classified documents scandal.
00:00:27.920 And you've talked about how you think that those 1,850 boxes of material,
00:00:35.020 415 gigabytes of digital records that have been given to the University of Delaware
00:00:39.600 should be searched by authorities.
00:00:42.500 And then there's something else that's come out of all this.
00:00:45.420 And this is, oh, by the way, in 2014, there's a chance that Hunter Biden had information
00:00:51.580 that was classified that he had access to that he may have been able to exploit
00:00:55.660 for business reasons to make more money.
00:00:58.200 Let's talk about that.
00:01:00.540 Well, yes.
00:01:01.300 And let me say the Joe Biden, Hunter Biden scandal continues to get worse and worse.
00:01:06.080 This podcast made news when we called for the 1,850 plus boxes of Joe Biden's Senate documents
00:01:15.360 at the University of Delaware to be searched by the FBI.
00:01:18.380 We subsequently made news when we called for Hunter Biden's home and work addresses
00:01:23.840 to be searched by the FBI as well.
00:01:26.480 And now we have even more reason that searching Hunter Biden's home and work is necessary,
00:01:33.240 which is one email in particular that Hunter Biden sent to his business partner, Devin Archer.
00:01:38.900 And it was on April 13th, 2014.
00:01:40.840 So it was while his father was vice president.
00:01:44.460 And it was a week before Joe Biden was going to travel to Ukraine to meet with the prime minister.
00:01:52.120 And Hunter Biden sent a very long scholarly email with 22 points of careful analysis
00:02:00.960 about Ukraine's political situation and about the upcoming election
00:02:06.880 and predicting an escalation of Russia's, quote, destabilization campaign,
00:02:12.080 which could lead to a full scale takeover of the eastern region, most critically Donetsk.
00:02:18.380 The strategic value is to create a land bridge for Russia to Crimea, although he abbreviates Russia RU.
00:02:24.820 That won't directly affect Burisma holdings, but it will limit future UK exploration
00:02:30.800 and utilization of offshore opportunities in particular.
00:02:33.800 He continued writing, it will also result in further destabilization of UK nationally
00:02:39.600 and for whatever government is in power.
00:02:41.780 And the U.S. will respond with even stronger sanctions.
00:02:44.280 Those sanctions will threaten the tenuous support of the EU,
00:02:47.400 which does not have the political will to incur steep energy price increases.
00:02:52.560 It's a 22-point substantive email.
00:02:55.380 Now, Hunter Biden doesn't write 22-point substantive emails.
00:03:00.840 Hunter Biden, as we know, as he has an odd proclivity of doing,
00:03:05.900 videos himself with drugs, with prostitutes violating the law.
00:03:10.820 This email reads as if it was cut and pasted from an official government briefing,
00:03:18.660 an official government briefing that one would infer his father had received.
00:03:23.860 And it reads as if it could easily have come from a classified briefing.
00:03:29.340 We don't know that.
00:03:30.500 But the level of geopolitical and geostrategic analysis is the sort of analysis that is often
00:03:37.160 in classified briefings.
00:03:39.720 And the timing of this email.
00:03:42.500 So this is 2014.
00:03:44.180 This is right before Burisma put Hunter Biden on their board.
00:03:49.400 Now, we've talked at length in this podcast about how Hunter Biden didn't speak Ukrainian,
00:03:54.580 didn't know anything about oil and gas, had no reason to think he was an expert in Ukraine
00:03:59.100 or geopolitics.
00:04:00.420 And yet, when he sends this very detailed email, it certainly seems like he's advertising,
00:04:06.620 hey, you pay me $83,000 a month, which they did, and you get access to this kind of briefing
00:04:13.540 too, the briefing presumably being given to the vice president.
00:04:17.540 I think there needs to be serious examination as to where Hunter Biden got that information.
00:04:23.620 And in particular, did it come from a briefing his father was given?
00:04:27.400 And critically, was it from a classified briefing?
00:04:30.560 On the face of it, there's an awful lot of smoke.
00:04:34.160 And if this special prosecutor at the Department of Justice is taking it seriously,
00:04:40.740 those are the questions he needs to be asking.
00:04:42.560 It's an issue of proof for many people when you give emails like this and information like,
00:04:49.300 okay, prove it to me, right?
00:04:51.800 Prove it to me that you have access to what you claim you have access to.
00:04:56.240 We've seen this when it comes to even our sources overseas, where it's like, you know,
00:05:01.060 they claim they have access to X, Y, or Z or to this terrorist group, and they have inside
00:05:05.900 knowledge, and you basically say, okay, show me something that can verify that you're not
00:05:10.780 just full of it.
00:05:11.720 And that's what this email certainly would have done.
00:05:14.020 It's not just impressing them, but it's showing you, hey, I can give you stuff that no one
00:05:18.800 else can.
00:05:20.500 And look, there is no reason, there's nothing in Hunter Biden's background to suggest that
00:05:26.280 he has the geopolitical expertise to write an email like this unless he's cribbing on what
00:05:33.340 daddy has.
00:05:34.280 And it's one thing if he's getting a briefing from his father or his father's team, that's
00:05:40.560 not impermissible.
00:05:41.880 It's Hunter Biden selling access.
00:05:44.440 But, you know, to be honest, the Biden family has been selling access for decades.
00:05:48.520 That's been the family business.
00:05:51.120 It is qualitatively different if the access includes access to classified materials for
00:05:59.700 which Hunter Biden does not have security clearances.
00:06:02.480 And we don't know.
00:06:04.460 But on the face of it, I think the odds are incredibly high, north of 90 percent, that
00:06:10.540 Hunter Biden was reading and may well have cut and paste from an official briefing his father
00:06:15.600 received.
00:06:16.400 And the outstanding question was, did that briefing include classified materials or not?
00:06:22.440 Ordinarily, the vice president getting ready to travel to a foreign country would get a
00:06:27.080 classified briefing.
00:06:27.840 So typically, the vice president's briefing would have classified information.
00:06:31.820 I think there needs to be a careful examination of what was the source of this, including quite
00:06:38.160 literally searching.
00:06:39.920 The special counsel should search the classified briefings given the vice president in that period
00:06:46.180 of time, in the period preceding that trip, and compare the language.
00:06:50.640 And I'm going to posit a guess that there is language that is word for word on Hunter Biden's
00:07:00.240 email.
00:07:00.580 I don't know that, but it sure doesn't read like something Hunter Biden wrote.
00:07:04.460 And that is worthy of a serious investigation.
00:07:08.440 But if Joe Biden did, in fact, allow his son access to classified materials, then they both
00:07:14.780 would have committed a federal crime.
00:07:16.080 I have to ask the question about classified documents and how long do they keep classified
00:07:20.940 documents around?
00:07:23.300 Because I know there's people that are going to be saying, well, let me guess.
00:07:25.500 They're going to say, we can't find these anymore.
00:07:27.520 And before I get you to answer that question about how the storage of classified documents
00:07:31.060 work, I want to tell you about our friends at Patriot Mobile.
00:07:33.860 If you have not checked out Patriot Mobile, they are an amazing company, a conservative Christian
00:07:39.580 cell phone company.
00:07:40.480 So if you have a cell phone right now in your hand, you can keep your same cell phone.
00:07:44.580 You can keep your same cell phone number and you can use the same towers that you're on
00:07:49.460 right now, except this time when you pay your bill, you're going to be supporting first
00:07:54.660 and second amendment causes.
00:07:56.740 You're going to be supporting protecting the rights of the unborn children and even helping
00:08:01.480 with adoptions.
00:08:03.420 Patriot Mobile is a company where when you use your phone, you're standing up for what you
00:08:09.660 believe in.
00:08:10.240 Check them out, patriotmobile.com slash verdict.
00:08:15.160 That's patriotmobile.com slash verdict.
00:08:18.180 Or you can call them 878-PATRIOT.
00:08:22.780 That's their new number, 878-PATRIOT.
00:08:26.120 Make sure you use the promo code VERDICT for the best savings.
00:08:29.080 All right, Senator, the question I know everybody's going to be thinking themselves is, all right,
00:08:32.800 let's say we ask for these classified documents from this time period.
00:08:37.200 What do you know?
00:08:37.980 They're not going to be able to find them or they're going to say they're destroyed or
00:08:40.920 they're going to have an excuse.
00:08:42.320 Call us paranoid, but a lot of people expect that's how the government works now.
00:08:46.260 Every time you need to see something, you can't find it.
00:08:48.280 So how does it work with classified documents?
00:08:50.760 How long do they keep them before there's no longer a record of them?
00:08:55.280 Is there a chance these documents are saved somewhere and still exist?
00:08:59.860 Well, it so happens there's a federal statute that answers that question.
00:09:03.060 And it is the Presidential Records Act, which requires, as a matter of federal law,
00:09:08.020 that all of the president's records and all of the vice president's records,
00:09:12.120 including any classified documents, must be turned over to the archives by the end of their terms.
00:09:18.960 So assuming that the vice president's office complied with that federal law,
00:09:24.760 the archives should have every classified briefing Joe Biden received.
00:09:29.720 And so those records, you would need, obviously, clearance to read them.
00:09:35.620 But I think the special counsel needs to read those briefings and compare them to Hunter Biden's
00:09:45.000 email to see if the language is identical or substantially similar,
00:09:50.160 because there's a very strong inference from the face of it that they are.
00:09:57.960 Last question on this.
00:09:59.380 There does still seem to be, to many of us, a disconnect between the prosecution in Delaware,
00:10:07.600 the prosecutor in Delaware with Hunter Biden and some of the tax issues and everything he's looking into.
00:10:12.520 And now what's happened with the special prosecutor that is looking into these classified documents
00:10:17.620 they keep finding of the president, the former vice president, Joe Biden.
00:10:21.060 When you start looking at these connections here, the way that you're describing them,
00:10:25.220 is how are these two individuals not going to interconnect at some point and say,
00:10:31.780 here, I have something you need to see, or you have something I need to see?
00:10:35.100 Well, you know, when you play poker, sometimes people have what's called a tell.
00:10:39.920 And they do something that illustrates whether they have a good hand or a bad hand.
00:10:45.840 Maybe they twist their ring.
00:10:47.160 Maybe their eye twitches.
00:10:48.920 They have something that gives away their hand.
00:10:51.600 But the tell from this Department of Justice as to whether it is trying to be political
00:10:58.920 and protect Joe Biden and Democrats on these issues is very simple.
00:11:03.900 If they are trying to keep Hunter Biden and Joe Biden altogether separate,
00:11:10.860 they are engaged in politics, not law.
00:11:14.260 If they're trying to say they're totally different, they're totally separate,
00:11:17.540 if they want the Hunter Biden investigation to be about, well, did the guy do drugs?
00:11:22.260 Did he violate the tax laws?
00:11:24.900 Did he do things that affect a poor, troubled guy with a serious substance abuse issue?
00:11:31.520 Anyone focusing on that is doing it for a reason, and that is to insulate the big guy,
00:11:38.760 to insulate Joe Biden.
00:11:40.800 Look, my interest in Hunter Biden is not his personal demons.
00:11:45.240 The reason this is an issue of public concern is the extent to which Hunter Biden implicates his father,
00:11:54.160 Joe Biden, the president and then the vice president, in official corruption.
00:11:59.280 And so it is the connection between the two.
00:12:01.960 When they're examining Hunter Biden, they need to be examining what was it that Hunter Biden sold to Burisma
00:12:09.260 for a million bucks a year.
00:12:11.440 What was it that Hunter Biden sold to the Chinese communists for millions of dollars a year?
00:12:17.100 And when they're examining Joe Biden, now, to be clear, the special counsel's mandate is to focus on the classified documents
00:12:24.620 in Joe Biden's home.
00:12:26.760 The special counsel can put blinders on and say, well, we're just looking at these documents.
00:12:31.140 We're not asking who might have contacted them.
00:12:34.120 We're not asking who might have examined them illegally.
00:12:36.780 We're not asking if Hunter Biden, who has a long pattern of corruption, was selling access to these documents.
00:12:43.500 If the special counsel from the other side of the issue puts blinders on and refuses to examine the connections to Hunter Biden,
00:12:53.340 that would raise the very strong implication that the special counsel is trying to politically protect the White House.
00:13:01.520 What is a matter of public concern is the intersection between the two that, on the face of it, screams corruption.
00:13:11.400 Yeah, it certainly does.
00:13:12.380 And this is going to it's going to see how long they can keep these two at bay and how long they can try to disconnect them.
00:13:18.240 But it looks like even the White House is having a hard time controlling this story now at all.
00:13:22.960 I want to move to something.
00:13:23.900 By the way, before we move to this topic, I will say I feel kind of bad that this podcast may have played a role in getting Corrine Jean-Pierre yanked from the podium.
00:13:35.560 You saw that her answers were so bleedingly bad, as we've talked about on previous pods, that they ended up putting John Kirby up there because there are only so many times she could say,
00:13:45.040 good morning, what time of day it is.
00:13:47.640 Talk to the White House counsel.
00:13:48.760 You know, what what what color is the sky?
00:13:52.080 Talk to the White House counsel.
00:13:53.120 They finally got John Kirby, who can at least answer a simple and straightforward question.
00:13:59.300 You know, if this podcast played a role in that.
00:14:02.420 Well, I think it definitely did.
00:14:04.640 When they start quoting you and the show, you know, it's a good day.
00:14:08.300 You know, it's a good day and you know, it's a bad day for that White House.
00:14:12.860 Canadian women are looking for more, more of themselves, their businesses, their elected leaders and the world around.
00:14:18.760 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the Honest Talk podcast.
00:14:22.920 I'm Jennifer Stewart.
00:14:24.020 And I'm Catherine Clark.
00:14:25.240 And in this podcast, we interview Canada's most inspiring women, entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, politicians and newsmakers, all at different stages of their journey.
00:14:34.740 So if you're looking to connect, then we hope you'll join us.
00:14:37.960 Listen to the Honest Talk podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
00:14:42.020 There's another big fight, Senator, that's happening in and it's it's an important fight in Washington, D.C.
00:14:50.120 And a lot of people may not realize this is even happening because it's not being covered, in my opinion, the way that it should.
00:14:56.580 And this comes down to the No Vaccine Passport Act.
00:15:00.600 There are multiple aspects of this that I want to go through because part of its No Vaccine Passport Act, among its many provisions, the No Vaccine Passport Act would stop the federal government from establishing COVID-19 passports or working with third parties to establish their own vaccine passports.
00:15:21.380 This is a really important fight that's happening, and there's several different aspects of it.
00:15:27.440 It's also No Vaccine Mandates Act, the No Mass Mandate Act.
00:15:31.340 This is not just one thing.
00:15:32.860 It's several different big fights happening.
00:15:35.440 Well, let's let's start out at a broader level, at a meta level, and then we'll get down to the specifics.
00:15:40.960 The broader level, the question for the federal government is, is COVID over or not?
00:15:48.140 Now, Joe Biden famously walking along in an interview said the pandemic is over, and the political voices in the White House that want to portray sunny optimism and look at the great job Democrats are doing want to say, OK, we've cured COVID.
00:16:03.820 We solved the pandemic.
00:16:04.920 Now, that happens to be largely accurate.
00:16:08.980 I think the pandemic is over.
00:16:10.360 It doesn't mean that people, particularly very elderly and very vulnerable people, can't get sick and dangerously sick from COVID.
00:16:16.680 But we are not in the midst of the pandemic anymore, and most of us have moved on with our damn life.
00:16:22.760 And that's, I think, the vast majority of America.
00:16:27.880 I will say, by the way, when you go to an airport, this is an aside, isn't it fascinating?
00:16:33.420 I think it's now about 10 percent of the people who still persist in wearing a mask.
00:16:38.500 And it's almost like self-identifying.
00:16:42.060 And I really do.
00:16:43.000 I walk through an airport and I look at them and I'm like, OK, you're crazy people.
00:16:47.280 Now, look, maybe you're someone who's severely immunocompromised or there's some reason.
00:16:51.000 You might have a personal health reason that you need to do so.
00:16:54.240 And I certainly respect that.
00:16:55.440 But I just look around at what appear to be young, healthy people that are masked or parents that put little kids in masks.
00:17:01.960 And you're just like, is it a spirit of fear?
00:17:05.600 Is it a spirit of ideology?
00:17:08.480 Is it are you just so woke that you've got a virtue signal?
00:17:12.040 But it is a fascinating self-identification.
00:17:16.140 And the numbers are dwindling.
00:17:17.800 It's only the hardcore that keep with it.
00:17:20.060 But the meta issue for the federal government is, is the pandemic over or not?
00:17:25.600 And the reason it matters is Democrats and Biden in particular wants to cling to all the power the pandemic gave them.
00:17:35.480 The pandemic was an excuse for a massive expansion in the size of the federal government and government spending and government debt and in the power of the federal government.
00:17:45.140 I mean, we saw abuses, we saw abuses at every level of government, but especially the federal government.
00:17:50.160 And I got to tell you, I have been now for over two years leading the fight in the Senate against these abuses.
00:17:56.840 And so I've introduced legislation after legislation after legislation to stop these abuses.
00:18:01.740 So, as you noted, I have one bill to ban vaccine passports, to say you cannot require vaccine passports of any individual dealing with the government.
00:18:10.780 I have another bill that bans vaccine mandates, that says you cannot require a COVID vaccine.
00:18:18.100 You can't require it in the military.
00:18:19.600 You can't require it in the federal government.
00:18:21.360 You can't require it at DOJ or the FBI or the Border Patrol.
00:18:25.000 You can't require it in a private business.
00:18:27.020 I have another bill that ends mask mandates, to say you can't force mask mandates on people.
00:18:32.840 I have another bill that ends discrimination in COVID treatments.
00:18:37.240 I have another bill that ends the D.C. school vaccine mandate where they are claiming they're going to throw 40 percent of the school kids, 40 percent of the African-American kids out of the D.C. public schools.
00:18:50.960 All of these are bills that I am fighting actively right now in the federal government.
00:18:56.120 We just won a big victory on military vaccines, where for two years I've been fighting to end Biden's vaccine mandate in the military.
00:19:06.040 Last month we succeeded.
00:19:07.800 We passed it into law.
00:19:09.060 We had to kick, drag Joe Biden kicking and screaming to sign that into law.
00:19:14.140 But it is only prospective.
00:19:16.460 The Democrats' price was that it is only applicable going forward.
00:19:21.880 It doesn't provide relief for the thousands of servicemen and women who were terminated because they declined to get the COVID vaccine.
00:19:29.840 I've introduced legislation called the Americans Act to give them relief, to reinstate them in the military if they want to go back at their original rank, to give them the benefits they're due.
00:19:39.860 And if they choose not to go back into the military, to ensure that they have an honorable discharge and not merely a general discharge, so that they receive the benefits they've earned by fighting for our country.
00:19:52.600 Are Democrats still digging in on that?
00:19:54.480 I know that.
00:19:55.360 And so they're just not wavering.
00:19:57.020 In other words, they're saying, forget taking care of these people.
00:19:59.280 They didn't bow to our demand with the vaccine mandate.
00:20:02.500 They don't deserve to have health coverage no matter how long they were serving their country if we get rid of them this way.
00:20:08.600 There is no movement from them, no remorse, no compromise, no spirit of compromise.
00:20:14.300 Or forget that.
00:20:15.640 Let's just bring it down to spirit of humanity, spirit of compassion for many men and women in the military that have lost their health benefits that were desperately needed for chronic conditions for them and their children.
00:20:29.080 Well, look, I'm not going to speak to the hearts of Democrat senators.
00:20:35.220 I will speak to their votes.
00:20:37.100 Their votes are consistently against the servicemen and women who were unjustly terminated.
00:20:43.340 We don't even know the numbers.
00:20:44.700 The Biden administration won't answer.
00:20:46.500 I've repeatedly tried to get answers.
00:20:48.500 We know it's in the thousands.
00:20:50.060 It may well be in excess of 10,000, but they won't answer the question.
00:20:54.700 And I will commit, and I have committed unequivocally, that I am going to keep fighting for every soldier, every sailor, every airman, every Marine, every Coast Guardsman who was wrongfully terminated, who was wrongfully demoted.
00:21:08.560 And I'm going to keep fighting for them until they get justice.
00:21:11.440 What they did is wrong.
00:21:12.680 And I'll tell you, Ben, I mean, when you talk with Navy SEALs, as I have, when you look in their eyes and they're angry, look, I'm not remotely badass enough to be a Navy SEAL.
00:21:24.660 I couldn't survive, Buds.
00:21:25.920 I'd drown in the seashore.
00:21:28.120 I respect what those guys do.
00:21:30.860 They're American heroes, and they go in harm's way without blinking.
00:21:35.820 And for these partisan hacks to just throw their service in the waste bin, not care about it at all, say you're terminated, you're out of luck, it doesn't matter.
00:21:48.420 And mind you, we've got a shortage of new recruits.
00:21:52.000 It's hurting military readiness at the same time.
00:21:54.600 But what I believe is happening is I think the Biden administration is using vaccine mandates politically to purge the federal government of conservatives and of troublesome people.
00:22:08.480 I think they're doing it in the military.
00:22:10.280 I think they're doing it at DOJ.
00:22:11.940 I think they're doing it at the FBI.
00:22:13.380 I think they're doing it at the Border Patrol.
00:22:15.180 Throughout the federal government, they view it.
00:22:17.820 It's actually the mirror image.
00:22:18.860 I talked before about how in airports, wacky lefties self-identified by wearing their pink masks walking down the aisle.
00:22:28.060 Yeah.
00:22:28.560 Well, it's the flip side, which is in the federal government.
00:22:33.280 A lot of conservatives self-identify by saying, I ain't getting this vaccine and you're not going to make me.
00:22:39.420 And I think the Biden Dems are thrilled and saying, OK, good, you're fired.
00:22:44.960 We're going to purge you out of the federal government.
00:22:47.140 I think it is a shamelessly political objective.
00:22:51.000 And whether any Democrat feels something in their heart for them, they certainly are not willing to vote for them.
00:22:57.260 But I think we can still get more done the way we repealed the COVID vaccine mandate in the military, which is using leverage on must-pass legislation.
00:23:08.700 And so I'm going to keep pressing to do that.
00:23:11.440 And mind you, the Biden administration is utterly schizophrenic on this.
00:23:18.100 They want to have it both ways.
00:23:19.860 So they, on the one hand, Joe Biden trumpets, the pandemic is over.
00:23:26.400 Yay, we solved it.
00:23:27.500 On the other hand, the Biden administration is actively appealing in the federal court of appeals to have the authority to reinstate the mask mandate on planes.
00:23:39.200 While at the same time, they are trying to end the use of Title 42 and they say COVID exists everywhere on Earth except our southern border.
00:23:50.840 And we have last month, we had over 250,000 encounters with illegal immigrants in December.
00:23:59.440 It is the worst month at the border in the history of our country.
00:24:04.520 Let me repeat that.
00:24:06.140 December of 2022 was the highest level of illegal immigration ever recorded in the history of the United States of America.
00:24:15.980 Over 250,000 illegal encounters.
00:24:18.900 And it's the 10th consecutive month with encounters over 200,000.
00:24:24.340 And yet the Biden administration is saying COVID doesn't exist at the border, just in every kindergarten, in every hospital, in the federal government, everywhere they want to have their tentacles of power, except when it comes to securing the border.
00:24:42.920 Yeah, it is.
00:24:43.500 I want to ask you quickly about my Orcas.
00:24:45.340 And before we get to that, I want to tell you real quick about our friends at Augusta Precious Metals.

00:25:56.200 That's Augusta Precious Metals, 877-4.
00:25:59.540 The number 4, Gold IRA or AugustaPreciousMetals.com.
00:26:03.340 Let's talk about Mayorkas for a second, Senator.
00:26:05.780 There were a lot of people that believed that there's a good chance that he could be investigated and even impeached because of him knowing what was happening at the border the entire time and misleading the country about it, claiming that the border is secure when he knew it wasn't secure.
00:26:20.920 And that's really just the tip of the iceberg.
00:26:23.040 Is there going to be any movement, you think, early in this year on that, at least on the House side?
00:26:27.480 I believe the answer is yes.
00:26:30.880 I believe the House of Representatives will impeach Alejandro Mayorkas.
00:26:34.700 I think they will do it this year, likely in the first half of the year.
00:26:40.140 I will be shocked if they don't go forward.
00:26:43.360 It is – I think it's extremely likely, and I think it is important.
00:26:48.860 We have never had a cabinet secretary so utterly refuse to do his job and, in fact, instruct his employees to actively defy federal law, to frustrate federal law.
00:27:02.640 Federal immigration law requires that people here illegally be removed, be deported.
00:27:07.500 Instead, what Mayorkas has done is directed Homeland Security to facilitate and expedite people breaking the law, to – he wants the turnstile to move more quickly.
00:27:20.940 His entire objective is to have even more people come here illegally.
00:27:26.120 It's not to stop them.
00:27:27.440 It's not to deport them.
00:27:28.780 It's not to secure the border.
00:27:30.160 He wants to make it even more efficient, that when you cross illegally, Joe Biden's travel agent will take you wherever you want to go and set you up.
00:27:39.840 It is – there has never been a cabinet officer devote his entire time to, number one, abdicating his entire statutory responsibility, but, number two, even worse.
00:27:53.280 If he simply abdicated and didn't do his job, that would be terrible, but he's doing even worse.
00:27:59.440 He is directing everyone in his control to actively facilitate lawbreaking, and I believe the House will impeach him, and then in the Senate, Chuck Schumer will do everything he can to sweep it under the rug and have nobody pay attention.
00:28:12.340 But we need to focus the American people on the tragedy that is unfolding every day on the southern border that the media ignores and that the Democrats have caused.
00:28:23.700 Finally, you talked about this on the last episode, and it was a pretty funny conversation from my perspective saying – and we showed the old tweet – you predicted – and if you missed this, guys, go back and listen to the last episode of Verdict.
00:28:41.100 You predicted that there was going to be hell to pay for kicking Republicans off committees when Nancy Pelosi allowed that to happen, saying if you're going to do it to Republicans, it's probably going to be done right back to you.
00:28:54.300 Now the media is trying to say – do everything they can to save people and act like they're somehow a victim of the exact same thing that they were doing to Republicans.
00:29:06.080 Eric Swalwell, and I guess this is like Rehab 101, I'm talking about Rehab on TV, trying to rehabilitate him as some great congressman.
00:29:15.340 He was on State of the Union.
00:29:17.080 Dana Bash set him up with this question, and I just laughed, and I want to get your reaction to it.
00:29:23.240 Congressman, you were also removed by Republicans from the Intelligence Committee.
00:29:27.660 What the speaker said about you is that beginning in 2012, a suspected Chinese spy developed ties to you and to your office, even put an intern there, raised campaign funds for you.
00:29:40.240 You say very clearly you cut off ties with this person back in 2015 when you found out you cooperated with the FBI.
00:29:46.300 But the bottom line question is this – did you put yourself in a vulnerable position in any way so that this alleged Chinese spy could have benefited or even learn American secrets?
00:30:00.020 Absolutely not.
00:30:01.280 But, Dana, don't take my word for it.
00:30:04.100 Take the FBI's word for it.
00:30:05.280 They never talk about ongoing investigations.
00:30:08.280 And former Chairman Schiff knows this as a member of the Gang of Eight.
00:30:11.460 Three different times they came out and said two things.
00:30:15.740 All I did was help them, and also I was never under any suspicion of wrongdoing.
00:30:22.960 So I got to say, Ben.
00:30:24.840 I can't even keep a straight face, Senator.
00:30:28.260 It's just like I watched this, and I was like, you've got to be kidding me.
00:30:32.420 They're all sitting there like this is a serious alibi.
00:30:36.300 All right.
00:30:36.760 So you and I both know Dana Bash well.
00:30:39.360 You worked for years at CNN.
00:30:41.460 You've been in the belly of the beast.
00:30:43.120 I have done many an interview with Dan.
00:30:45.420 I actually like her personally.
00:30:47.140 She's less of a whack job lefty than many of the people at CNN.
00:30:53.620 That being said, that question is one of the funniest things I've ever heard in my life.
00:30:59.580 I actually wrote down a couple of the phrases she used.
00:31:02.440 They threw you off the intel committee because they alleged you, quote, developed ties to an alleged Chinese spy.
00:31:13.040 And then she goes on to say, but then you cut off ties to the alleged Chinese spy.
00:31:19.940 And then she said, did you put yourself in a vulnerable position?
00:31:24.620 Now, all of those are really side-splitting euphemisms for you were sleeping with a Chinese spy.
00:31:33.900 You weren't developing ties.
00:31:35.180 She's not asking if he was into S&M and if he tied her up or not.
00:31:39.260 But the phrase she doesn't want to say, were you having a sexual affair with a Chinese spy while she was working for the communist government of China?
00:31:52.120 Instead, CNN is suddenly very sensitive.
00:31:55.540 No, there is no sex on CNN.
00:31:57.720 It's just developed ties.
00:31:59.060 It's just cut off ties.
00:32:00.000 Did you put yourself in a vulnerable position?
00:32:03.940 Yeah.
00:32:04.100 You know what?
00:32:06.480 Going to bed with a Chinese spy is not developing ties.
00:32:10.400 And by the way, that Chinese spy, in addition to having sex with Eric Swalwell, and I will say, boy, talk about a Chinese spy willing to do anything for the communist government.
00:32:24.000 I mean, that is hazard.
00:32:24.920 That's commitment.
00:32:25.660 That's commitment right there.
00:32:26.840 Look, Fang Fang, I may not like who she works for, but I do have to commend her that she's willing to take a bullet.
00:32:35.860 Yeah, that's tenure on a whole new level when she got home.
00:32:38.720 But did you ever know CNN to be so fragile and sensitive?
00:32:43.020 No, never.
00:32:44.340 To spin for the politician.
00:32:46.520 Can you imagine?
00:32:48.320 All right.
00:32:48.920 Just engage in a thought experiment.
00:32:51.920 Imagine if everything were the same, but instead of Eric Swalwell, it was Donald Trump.
00:32:57.920 Remember the whole Stormy Daniels thing with CNN?
00:33:00.760 Sure.
00:33:00.780 24-7.
00:33:01.820 And then they even said the lawyer, the poor lawyer.
00:33:04.620 They wanted him to be president.
00:33:05.840 Abinadi, the guy in jail.
00:33:06.900 Abinadi, yeah.
00:33:07.480 You should be president.
00:33:08.500 They said that on TV.
00:33:10.160 He was a serious contender for the White House because of, quote, his presence on cable news.
00:33:15.380 He was on The View.
00:33:16.800 He was on every channel talking about Stormy Daniels, the porn star, Donald Trump, and all of that.
00:33:21.900 They ran it wall-to-wall, prime time, but now they're going to be PC about how they talk about an actual Chinese spy actually sleeping.
00:33:29.640 I mean, literally, sleeping with the enemy.
00:33:31.540 This is the definition of sleeping with the enemy.
00:33:34.540 Can you imagine CNN interviewing Donald Trump about Stormy Daniels and just saying,
00:33:40.500 Well, the allegation is you developed ties with an alleged movie actress.
00:33:50.000 I mean, that's the equivalent of this.
00:33:51.960 Yeah.
00:33:52.140 And then you cut off ties.
00:33:54.220 I don't remember their squeamishness, and it's very simple.
00:33:58.700 CNN views its job.
00:34:00.160 In that interview is we are the public relations firm for the Democrats.
00:34:06.540 And so, as you mentioned, it was a rehabilitation tour, but it is so screamingly funny because they're bad at it.
00:34:14.800 They're not subtle.
00:34:16.100 They're naked, and, you know, they might as well just wear—I think CNN should issue blue T-shirts to all of their reporters that just have DNC and a picture of a giant donkey on it.
00:34:28.220 Because, like NASCAR, you know, NASCAR—
00:34:31.280 Like NASCAR.
00:34:31.800 This is who we're sponsored by, right?
00:34:34.140 Yeah, it would actually be brilliant.
00:34:35.860 I love it.
