00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.560 Guaranteed human.
00:00:05.300 Welcome. It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
00:00:09.700 And Senator, every time I think the Democrats can't get any worse at their closing argument for the American people after, you know, calling all this garbage, 0.55
00:00:18.480 they then figure out a way to insult even more people, this time women that are supporting Donald Trump. 0.98
00:00:24.620 You can't make it up.
00:00:26.440 Well, we are four days out from the election, and in the closing messages, the world is inverted.
00:00:32.200 Today, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, the Democrats, they are angry.
00:00:36.260 They are lashing out.
00:00:37.700 They are insulting everyone. 0.63
00:00:39.360 Donald Trump is Hitler. 1.00
00:00:40.900 Anyone who supports Trump is garbage. 1.00
00:00:42.980 Any woman who votes for Trump is stupid and weak. 1.00
00:00:46.260 That's their closing argument. 1.00
00:00:47.680 It really is astonishing.
00:00:48.680 And I kind of say on the flip side, the Donald Trump campaign, if I were to sum it up in one word right now,
00:00:54.800 that word would be joy.
00:00:57.640 Ironically, the word that the Kamala campaign tried to make their catchphrase, they've abandoned.
00:01:02.780 They're just bitterly insulting the voters.
00:01:05.320 But Donald Trump is having fun.
00:01:07.300 He's having the most fun I've ever seen him have on the campaign trail.
00:01:10.560 He is a joyful, happy warrior right now.
00:01:13.200 And that contrast couldn't be clearer.
00:01:14.720 Yeah, it certainly is.
00:01:17.460 And it's going to be very interesting to see how this closing argument plays with the American people.
00:01:22.400 We're going to break down some actually funny moments from Donald Trump, a different side of him that we have never seen in just a moment.

00:03:16.720 So, there's two things that happened since you and I sat down to do the show last time.
00:03:23.680 President Trump, I think, actually did one of the greatest modern political moves that I've seen,
00:03:32.180 and that was just play into the insanity of the left. 0.99
00:03:36.820 While they're calling Trump supporters garbage, he says, hey, let's get a garbage truck. 1.00
00:03:42.540 Let's throw Trump on the side of it. 0.99
00:03:44.000 Give me a garbage man's vest, and we're going to go out there and have a little fun with this. 0.78
00:03:48.740 That is not what most people, I think, were expecting from Donald Trump.
00:03:53.900 Yeah, look, it's a very clear contrast.
00:03:56.320 As I said, on the Democrat side, I think they're getting desperate.
00:04:00.340 I think they're looking at the poll numbers.
00:04:01.780 They feel like this is all slipping away from them, and they're lashing out.
00:04:07.620 They're in denial.
00:04:08.560 They're angry.
00:04:09.440 They're sitting there going, how could we possibly be losing to Donald Trump?
00:04:13.300 And you see them just cracking up.
00:04:15.500 You see Kamala losing it.
00:04:16.860 I mean, her whole pretense at joy has disappeared.
00:04:20.340 She's just lashing out. 1.00
00:04:21.720 Now, Joe Biden, of course, stupidly said out loud what the radicals all believe, 1.00
00:04:27.780 which is he said that if you're supporting Donald Trump, he thinks you're garbage, 1.00
00:04:33.100 a floating pile of garbage. 1.00
00:04:34.780 I'll tell you, on the campaign trail across Texas today, now, you know, it's Halloween. 0.98
00:04:39.060 I've been campaigning.
00:04:40.100 But at every event I did today, there were people that showed up wearing garbage bags.
00:04:44.240 The garbage bags are selling out at stores because that may be the most popular Halloween costume
00:04:49.700 in the country as people.
00:04:51.160 All right, you're going to laugh.
00:04:52.100 Megyn Kelly dressed in.
00:04:53.980 No, so Megyn Kelly did it. 1.00
00:04:55.620 Did you wear a garbage bag?
00:04:57.020 So this is so funny.
00:04:58.740 Tonight, we went out trick-or-treating.
00:05:00.720 I have never seen so many little kids running down the street in garbage bags.
00:05:05.680 It was hysterical.
00:05:07.340 They were wearing MAGA hats, and they were running down the streets in garbage bags.
00:05:10.720 And several of the parents that I did not know, because, you know, we're on a street.
00:05:14.260 There's hundreds of kids.
00:05:15.380 They close off the streets in the subdivision where we get to trick-or-treat to keep everybody safe.
00:05:18.640 And I just, I asked a couple of them.
00:05:21.320 I was like, I was like, this is amazing.
00:05:22.840 And they're like, yeah, our kids were going to be Altuve.
00:05:25.340 Our kid was going to be a football player, a quarterback.
00:05:27.680 And then they were talking about, they said at school, and it just went viral where all
00:05:32.100 these kids are like, let's wear garbage bags tonight.
00:05:35.500 It is an amazing testament.
00:05:38.040 I mean, what Joe Biden said really hit a nerve.
00:05:40.820 It ticked people off.
00:05:42.580 And then I think Trump handled it perfectly.
00:05:45.360 And frankly, Trump's reaction was reminiscent of how he did the McDonald's thing, where rather
00:05:51.360 than, you know, he could have gotten angry and, you know, how dare Kamala lie about working
00:05:55.280 at McDonald's and why is the press such lying SOBs?
00:05:58.960 All of that would have been pretty reasonable to say, but it was much more effective just
00:06:02.540 to go to a McDonald's and make some fries and serve in the drive-thru.
00:06:06.020 And that image, when you think of the iconic images of this election, I think Trump and
00:06:12.860 the McDonald's will certainly be one of the iconic images, and Trump in the garbage truck
00:06:16.620 and Trump giving his speech in the garbage vest will be another one.
00:06:20.640 And take a listen to President Trump describing how that came to be. 1.00
00:06:27.080 So this outfit, you know, is when they, when he called us all garbage, how stupid, what 1.00
00:06:35.180 a stupid word that blows deplorable away, don't you think? 1.00
00:06:40.020 Of course, I thought irredeemable when she said deplorable or irredeemable. 1.00
00:06:44.300 I thought irredeemable was actually worse, but deplorable seemed to catch up. 0.98
00:06:48.640 But this garbage stuff blows, blows it away. 0.92
00:06:51.360 So I'm in this beautiful plane, I'm enjoying myself, have a wonderful suit on. 0.99
00:07:03.460 And one of my people came in and said, sir, you know, the word garbage is the hottest thing
00:07:09.520 right now out there.
00:07:13.920 The hottest thing out there, sir, would you like to drive a garbage truck?
00:07:21.360 Now, we're about, you know, 30 minutes from landing.
00:07:31.220 We had to do this pretty quick.
00:07:32.320 I said, it's sort of cool, though, isn't it?
00:07:34.060 Because, you know, and I said, you know, I think that's OK, but, you know, I don't feel
00:07:38.340 comfortable wearing a suit.
00:07:40.900 And they pulled up this garbage truck.
00:07:43.500 I don't know how the hell they did it so fast.
00:07:45.460 I have very capable people.
00:07:47.240 They put a big sign under the truck.
00:07:48.880 Did you see it?
00:07:49.580 I think they showed it.
00:07:57.840 And then they said, sir, we have a vest.
00:08:01.840 I said, well, should I leave my suit on and put it over the vest?
00:08:06.140 But that doesn't look very good, right?
00:08:08.580 That doesn't look good.
00:08:09.620 So I said, all right, look, let me take it off.
00:08:11.320 And then I actually said, I climbed into the truck, but here's the, so I said, how the
00:08:15.840 hell do you get into this truck?
00:08:16.900 It's way up high.
00:08:17.860 It's a big one.
00:08:19.340 This was a beauty.
00:08:20.500 I said, you didn't have to buy it that big, right?
00:08:22.500 You have to get it that big.
00:08:23.620 They brought this brand new, gorgeous truck, wonderful driver.
00:08:27.280 He looked like Cary Grant in his prime.
00:08:29.940 You know who that is?
00:08:31.400 This beautiful driver.
00:08:33.540 And he drove that big thing up.
00:08:36.380 And I said, man, this is bad because now I have all the cameras are all watching.
00:08:40.100 Look, look at all the fake news.
00:08:41.460 Most of them, many of them were there.
00:08:53.880 And I'm saying, oh, boy, you know, one little mistake with these guys and your political career
00:08:58.480 is over.
00:08:59.060 You can't even.
00:09:00.940 So I said, man, if I don't get up there, this is going to be very embarrassing. 1.00
00:09:06.200 These stupid people, they'll say he's cognitively and physically impaired. 0.99
00:09:11.460 And I can't do that when I'm alongside of this great athlete. 1.00
00:09:17.840 I got to get up to that.
00:09:19.340 So, so look, so the stair, the first stair is like up here.
00:09:26.160 So, so I had the adrenaline going and I made it.
00:09:39.920 I made it.
00:09:41.920 And then I gave a little news conference from the front of the, you know, they ask their
00:09:45.660 wise guy questions and everything.
00:09:47.880 And then we drove about two feet.
00:09:51.200 I got out, got into the plane.
00:09:53.040 And then I got in the car and I'm driving over here and I have this still on and I come into
00:09:59.800 the arena and I say, where's my jacket?
00:10:03.320 I want to get out of this thing.
00:10:04.920 And they said, it would be unbelievable if you could wear it on stage.
00:10:10.780 And I said, no way.
00:10:22.360 I got 25,000 people standing outside.
00:10:30.400 I got all these people here.
00:10:31.780 There's no way I'm wearing it on stage.
00:10:34.120 They said, oh, okay, sir.
00:10:35.660 I said, get me my jacket.
00:10:37.480 But if you did, you know, it actually makes you look thinner.
00:10:42.080 I said, and they got me.
00:10:46.960 I said, I want to wear it on stage.
00:10:48.700 When they said, I look thinner, I said, in that case, I'll wear it on stage.
00:11:02.260 I may never wear a blue jacket again.
00:11:05.440 I may go.
00:11:07.600 I may go in this.
00:11:09.080 I said that.
00:11:09.780 That was my, that was the word.
00:11:11.840 That was the key.
00:11:12.740 So you look thinner.
00:11:13.620 So anyway, so we had a little fun about a very serious subject.
00:11:18.960 We had a little fun about a time where our country is not having a lot of fun
00:11:22.860 because we're, we're not doing well as a country,
00:11:25.480 but we're going to be doing well very shortly.
00:11:27.340 I promise you that.
00:11:31.560 I mean, Senator, this is just on so many different levels.
00:11:35.340 So interesting to see.
00:11:36.940 And I think a lot of this is after the assassination attempt.
00:11:40.500 He made fun of himself.
00:11:41.800 He laughed about maybe not being able to get up in the truck and what that would do
00:11:45.520 and they'll ruin your career.
00:11:46.920 He, he, he made fun about, you know,
00:11:49.000 not being the, maybe the fittest guy in the world.
00:11:51.380 And it makes me look thinner.
00:11:52.400 And they had me when they told me the vest made me look thinner.
00:11:55.020 I may never take it off again.
00:11:56.180 I may never wear a jacket again.
00:11:57.920 And then at the very end, he brought it back home.
00:12:00.260 We, and he said, we had a little bit of fun,
00:12:02.400 even after a very serious conversation that needs to be had about them having this
00:12:07.520 much hatred towards us.
00:12:09.060 This is a very different Donald Trump and his closing arguments to America,
00:12:13.380 which is the guy that they said you're not supposed to like is extremely likable.
00:12:18.180 That's absolutely right.
00:12:19.440 And, and I got to say, it's powerful.
00:12:21.180 It's powerful on a number of levels.
00:12:23.040 Number one, the images, the image of him driving the garbage truck,
00:12:27.820 the image of him wearing the vest was everywhere.
00:12:31.260 It dominated the news.
00:12:33.060 It drove the news.
00:12:34.440 And, and, and that means even if somebody had been living under a rock,
00:12:37.880 even if they didn't hear about Joe Biden calling every Donald Trump supporter in America, 0.99
00:12:43.480 a floating piece of garbage, they would ask, why is Trump driving a garbage truck? 0.99
00:12:48.880 Why is he wearing a vest? 1.00
00:12:49.920 And then they would find out, oh, because Joe, Joe Biden said, you're a piece of garbage. 1.00
00:12:55.600 That was really powerful and important. 0.99
00:12:58.400 It, it, it extended the story.
00:13:00.860 It drove the news.
00:13:02.000 It made sure everyone knew.
00:13:04.040 Listen, I, I, driving on the bus tour, I stopped in a little town in Texas today,
00:13:08.280 Hamilton, Texas, very small town.
00:13:10.220 It's a beautiful, quaint town.
00:13:12.160 And the kids downtown were all trick-or-treating.
00:13:14.900 They, they, they were little kids.
00:13:16.120 We're walking up and down downtown to the stores.
00:13:19.160 And I went in an old drug store that had an old time soda fountain.
00:13:23.100 And I got a root beer float and sat there with a little kid who was, who was dressed up as a, a, a Tron guy.
00:13:28.880 And it was really fun.
00:13:29.920 And I sat there, but there were kids all throughout this little bitty town, Hamilton, Texas, dressed in garbage bags.
00:13:37.220 I mean, it penetrated everywhere.
00:13:40.140 That's really powerful.
00:13:41.200 But, but also the fact that he was, was relaxed, that he was cutting jokes and, and that he was making fun of himself.
00:13:49.420 That is not something, uh, usually in, in Trump's repertoire, to put it mildly.
00:13:55.200 You remember the Al Smith's, uh, dinner that he did, which, which, you know, was the humorous dinner, uh, hosted to support Catholic charities.
00:14:02.000 Now, of course, Kamala Harris skipped the thing. 0.98
00:14:04.360 Uh, Trump's speech was really funny.
00:14:06.520 I got to say, my favorite joke that he told, he's about two-thirds of the way through the speech, and he says,
00:14:11.280 okay, now's the portion of the speech where, where I'm supposed to be self-deprecating.
00:14:17.460 I got nothing.
00:14:19.420 And, and it was, he waited just long enough.
00:14:23.760 And, I mean, even the lefty journalist cracked up laughing.
00:14:27.760 And, and listen, this is a good point.
00:14:29.680 You know, when he's talking about, oh, you mean I look thinner?
00:14:31.600 Okay.
00:14:31.920 Oh, wow.
00:14:32.440 I didn't think I could get my foot up there.
00:14:33.620 I mean, you're right.
00:14:34.500 That's the sort of joke that, that, that, that it's real, it's funny, it's, it's approachable.
00:14:41.620 And the contrast to the angry hatred, uh, coming from the other side is really striking.
00:14:50.080 It's why I said in, in, in, in the beginning of the, the pod that joy is, is coming to, you combine this and McDonald's, and this is a joyful campaign in the final four days.
00:15:00.880 It is joyful.
00:15:02.440 And he also is bringing it home.
00:15:04.500 And, and Donald Trump in New Mexico was, was really selling this point to the crowd when, when he reminded them of what this election is about.
00:15:13.880 Kamala and Joe call them, all of them also, they're in your group now. 0.99
00:15:21.100 She calls them garbage and he calls them garbage. 0.99
00:15:24.360 Oh, you can imagine their conversations, but I call you the heart and soul of America. 0.99
00:15:29.980 I call you the people that built our country.
00:15:33.180 You're the people that built our country.
00:15:35.600 I mean, that is, that is bringing home and reminding people, this is the election.
00:15:41.180 I'm here fighting for you.
00:15:42.720 I want you to succeed.
00:15:44.420 I believe in you.
00:15:45.820 You're the heart and soul of the country.
00:15:47.500 You're more than more important than government. 0.99
00:15:49.980 They don't look at you as anything but garbage. 0.99
00:15:53.340 Yes. 0.99
00:15:53.960 And, and, and there's also a double message in this.
00:15:56.800 Look, it's the, the socioeconomic inversion that we have seen in the last decade remains the single most important shift in politics for decades.
00:16:07.500 The conventional wisdom was Republicans are the party of the rich and Democrats are the party of the
00:16:12.700 poor and the working class.
00:16:14.080 I don't know if that was ever the case, but that's what everyone believed it was.
00:16:17.340 That was conventional wisdom.
00:16:19.160 That is now turned on its head.
00:16:21.600 Today, the Democrats are the party of coastal elites.
00:16:24.660 They look down on working men and women.
00:16:26.960 And our party, we are a blue collar party.
00:16:29.600 We are a party of truck drivers and steel workers and cops and firefighters and waiters and waitresses.
00:16:34.960 That's who's at a Trump rally.
00:16:36.080 You and I have been to many Trump rallies.
00:16:38.000 That's who's coming out.
00:16:39.300 Now, this is something I've championed for a long time.
00:16:41.520 Since the day I arrived in the Senate, I've been fighting for our party to be a blue collar party.
00:16:46.720 That has always been my political base is working men and women. 0.92
00:16:51.460 But one of the things I loved about his showing up in the garbage truck, not only does it highlight that Joe Biden thinks we're garbage,
00:16:59.060 but I got to tell you, Trump is also representing and getting the votes of the garbage trucks drivers,
00:17:04.540 the people that are working the basic jobs and what he says there in New Mexico.
00:17:09.000 I call you the people who built our country.
00:17:12.060 It's the blue collar workers. 0.82
00:17:13.680 It's the union guys who are the ones that are actually doing the hard work.
00:17:17.820 And the Democrats look down on them as the dirty, unwashed masses. 1.00
00:17:22.700 They think you stupid people vote for us, but keep your mouth shut and follow our orders because we know better. 1.00
00:17:29.100 And that contrast, I think, is night and day and really powerful. 1.00
00:17:34.000 Well, and J.D. Vance even hitting home on what you just said, and it went viral.
00:17:38.220 He said a mother mourning her son who died of a fentanyl overdose is not garbage. 0.91
00:17:43.020 A truck driver who can't afford rising diesel prices is not garbage. 0.95
00:17:46.300 A father who wants to afford groceries is not garbage. 0.94
00:17:50.620 Kamala Harris and Joe Biden ought to be ashamed of themselves.
00:17:53.740 He took that more serious reminding role there.
00:17:56.360 And look, Kamala Harris, she had to dodge questions when she was asked about this.
00:18:02.220 As she was getting on the airplane, she was asked about the comments by Joe Biden, and she didn't clean it up very well at all. 0.90
00:18:08.960 Do you sympathize with any voters who do feel offended by or insulted by the garbage comments? 0.93
00:18:17.140 I am running for president of the United States. 0.66
00:18:19.300 I will be traveling to three states today to do what I have been doing throughout, which is talking with the American people about the fact that, first of all, I get it in terms of the concerns they have about challenges like the price of groceries.
00:18:34.160 Second, my highest priority is to address that and to lift them up around their ambitions, their aspirations and their dreams, which is why I have a very specific and detailed plan about strengthening our economy.
00:18:48.500 Many leading economists have reviewed my plan and indicated it will strengthen the economy and that Donald Trump's plan will weaken the economy.
00:18:56.780 So I'm going to be spending full time as I've been talking with the American people, whoever they voted for last time.
00:19:02.740 And as I have said and will repeat over and over again, I am sincere in what I mean.
00:19:08.700 When elected president of the United States, I will represent all Americans, including those who don't vote for me and address their needs and their desires.
00:19:19.920 And then she does what she did so well.
00:19:22.380 She walked away. 1.00
00:19:23.760 That was a bad response in a moment where people were looking and even the mainstream media there, they were looking for a real response from her.
00:19:31.300 Like, hey, are you going to put this to bed?
00:19:33.040 Are you going to say something to let people know that you don't actually hate half of America or agree with Joe Biden?
00:19:37.760 She didn't fix it. 0.96
00:19:38.900 Well, and the shorter answer, do you sympathize with the Trump supporters who are offended that Joe Biden just called them garbage? 0.95
00:19:45.840 Her shorter answer is no. 0.96
00:19:47.020 I think the same thing. 1.00
00:19:48.280 If you vote for Biden, I, Kamala Harris, think you're garbage. 1.00
00:19:52.720 That's the real answer. 0.99
00:19:55.080 And it's but, you know, she also she can't get off her script.
00:20:01.300 I mean, think how Bill Clinton would have answered that question.
00:20:04.260 He would have understood.
00:20:05.340 He would have said, of course, he would have he would have completely pivoted and said, you know, praise the American people.
00:20:11.680 He had the instinct that you never attack the voters.
00:20:14.680 You can disagree with your political opponent, but not the voters.
00:20:18.500 The voters should not be the enemy.
00:20:20.540 And the Democrats, as they get desperate, they're lashing out at the voters.
00:20:25.540 How dare you vote for this guy we hate so much?
00:20:29.660 And I'll tell you, it was a bad, bad problem that got worse this week.
00:20:35.100 And it got worse because one of the very top surrogates for the Kamala Harris campaign is Mark Cuban.
00:20:39.940 They're putting him everywhere.
00:20:41.060 They're putting him on The View.
00:20:41.960 They're putting him everywhere.
00:20:42.960 He's like their front guy carrying the message. 0.98
00:20:45.140 And so today, Kamala Harris's top surrogate decided it's not enough to insult half of America and call him garbage. 1.00
00:20:51.900 Let's go out of the way to really insult women. 1.00
00:20:54.180 Let's go after women and say that that if you're a woman and you're backing Donald Trump, that then you are stupid and you're weak. 1.00
00:21:02.820 I mean, it really is, again, it's the same strategy of attack the voters that is spectacularly foolish. 1.00
00:21:10.160 But give a listen, and I want you to listen to Kayleigh McEnany reacting to it, because her reaction was really just, I think, exactly spot on.
00:21:21.660 Before I play that for you, I want to say thank you to so many of you that have been standing with the people in Israel with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
00:21:30.260 Last Saturday, Israel launched a targeted attack on Iran in retaliation for their massive ballistic missile strike on Israel and their support of Hezbollah terrorists in Iran as well.
00:21:42.060 This is why it's so important that you stand with the people in Israel, because day after day, they are under attack now from all sides.
00:21:50.960 And the people on the ground are desperate for basic needs and necessities.
00:21:56.320 And that is where IFCJ comes in.
00:21:58.840 And IFCJ is providing flak jackets, temporary bomb shelters, food and water for those bomb shelters.
00:22:06.300 And they are also giving armored vehicles, including armored ambulances, to help those that are in need and those that are wounded in these attacks.
00:22:17.240 And that is why it is so important that you stand with the people of Israel right now.
00:22:22.760 Standing with Israel and the Jewish people has never meant so much.
00:22:25.820 And that's why I'm asking you to stand with them and support them, just like I'm doing, by going to supportifcj.org.
00:22:34.820 That's right.
00:22:35.700 Again, supportifcj.org to learn more and to make a gift now.
00:22:40.960 When you give, your money is instantly being used.
00:22:44.260 The fellowship has already distributed 25 emergency vehicles donated in partnership.
00:22:49.840 Vehicles included include protective gear for the volunteers, as well as medical bags.
00:22:56.440 And the vehicles can respond to emergencies within 90 seconds.
00:23:00.220 You want to have an impact?
00:23:01.880 This is how you can get involved.
00:23:03.820 Go to supportifcj.org or call them 888-488-IFCJ.
00:23:10.000 That's 888-488-4325 or supportifcj.org.
00:23:17.640 And thank you for all of you that are getting involved.
00:23:20.400 So take a listen.
00:23:21.560 Here's Mark Cuban first.
00:23:23.440 And Kayleigh McEnany, one of these smart women that worked with Donald Trump, explaining and reminding America just how many brilliant women are actually in the conservative movement. 1.00
00:23:33.640 Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. 0.98
00:23:37.280 Ever.
00:23:38.460 It's just that simple.
00:23:39.560 They're intimidating to him.
00:23:41.060 He doesn't like to be challenged by them.
00:23:46.340 Kayleigh.
00:23:47.600 Mark Cuban.
00:23:48.940 Okay, I had to take a breath before this.
00:23:50.860 Because this is so profoundly offensive.
00:23:54.880 I worked for Donald Trump.
00:23:56.500 I consider myself a strong woman.
00:23:58.260 I consider those around me strong women.
00:24:00.900 Kellyanne Conway, Brooke Rollins, Ivanka Trump, Hope Hicks, Sarah Sanders.
00:24:06.760 That's before we get to the women that Donald Trump elevated to very high levels, like Nikki Haley, who still supports him.
00:24:13.200 Like Amy Coney Barrett, who he put on the Supreme Court. 0.92
00:24:16.140 Or the women currently around him.
00:24:17.620 Susie Wiles comes to mind.
00:24:19.260 Caroline Levitt.
00:24:20.380 That is so offensive.
00:24:21.500 And you know why?
00:24:22.260 Because it's not just about the women who worked for him.
00:24:24.180 He said the women around Donald Trump. 0.98
00:24:26.040 This comes right after the Joe Biden garbage comment. 0.99
00:24:28.760 Okay, the women around Donald Trump. 0.97
00:24:30.060 What about the women who vote for Donald Trump? 1.00
00:24:32.040 Are they weak? 1.00
00:24:33.040 Are they dumb? 1.00
00:24:34.020 Did Mark Cuban just insult any woman who supports Donald Trump? 1.00
00:24:37.640 Because it's a little, very small step from that.
00:24:39.760 And this is an official Biden, excuse me, Harris campaign surrogate.
00:24:43.640 Mark Cuban.
00:24:44.480 That is misogynistic in my view.
00:24:46.900 Get out of here, Mark Cuban.
00:24:48.420 Kamala Harris, he's your surrogate.
00:24:50.280 I want to hear from you. 0.97
00:24:51.380 Do you agree the women are weak and ineffective? 0.98
00:24:53.660 Whatever he said, get out of here. 0.57
00:24:55.440 And I can't wait to hear from you, Kamala.
00:24:56.900 By the way, you're going to be waiting a long time to hear from her on this.
00:25:00.040 It is shocking.
00:25:01.020 But as you and I mentioned a moment ago, and Kaylee just said there, Senator,
00:25:05.000 this is their top surrogate that is a non-elected official.
00:25:08.880 And he's been flying around the country.
00:25:10.980 He's been doing the biggest interviews on her behalf.
00:25:13.400 The View is a great example of that where he said this.
00:25:16.260 And this is another moment of their closing argument. 0.99
00:25:20.660 If it wasn't bad enough to call half of Americans garbage, 1.00
00:25:23.400 now you're insulting women saying you're an idiot or stupid 1.00
00:25:26.040 if you actually vote or support Trump. 1.00
00:25:28.680 Well, I can actually predict Kamala's response when she's asked about this.
00:25:33.420 She's going to say, look, I was raised in the middle class.
00:25:37.360 That's what she's got.
00:25:39.800 I'm laughing because it's actually a legitimate chance.
00:25:42.940 Like, there should be a Vegas line on that. 0.86
00:25:44.720 Like, it's ridiculous, but it's actually not. 0.64
00:25:48.040 And by the way, once SNL started mocking her for that ridiculous line, 0.80
00:25:54.880 does she not have anyone in her campaign that says,
00:25:58.220 Madam Vice President, please never say that again.
00:26:00.540 Like, just remove it from your repertoire because it is now,
00:26:04.620 every time you say it, it's a laugh line.
00:26:06.760 Like, nobody can listen to anything else you say
00:26:08.660 because they're too busy laughing that that's your response.
00:26:11.480 Either her team won't tell her that or she is unable to resist,
00:26:16.540 but of course she's not going to back away from it.
00:26:19.200 And look, this is the attitude of, I think, Kamala Harris,
00:26:25.260 of Joe Biden, of Hillary Clinton, of Barack Obama. 0.99
00:26:29.340 Remember, there is a steady line from you're all garbage 0.99
00:26:32.360 if you vote for Donald Trump, that's Joe Biden, 1.00
00:26:35.240 to Hillary Clinton, the only people voting for Donald Trump are deplorables,
00:26:40.120 to Barack Obama, the people voting on the other side,
00:26:44.240 the people of America are bitter and angry
00:26:46.780 and clinging to their God and their guns.
00:26:49.480 There is, the modern-day left, they really do have this condescension 1.00
00:26:54.360 where they look at garbage truck drivers like they are garbage, 0.97
00:26:59.040 like they're just, but they also expect them to vote for them. 0.96
00:27:02.460 I mean, it's the most amazing thing that they insult you.
00:27:07.420 Mind you, likewise, Kamala and Biden and Hillary,
00:27:10.460 they expect every woman in America to vote for her, 1.00
00:27:14.180 even while they insult you and say, 1.00
00:27:17.220 if you're a woman and you're voting for Trump, you're stupid and you're weak. 1.00
00:27:19.940 And it's, I got to say that that is not the strategy of a winning campaign. 1.00
00:27:26.000 Canadian women are looking for more. 1.00
00:27:27.820 More to themselves, their businesses, their elected leaders, and the world around them.
00:27:32.100 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the Honest Talk Podcast.
00:27:35.920 I'm Jennifer Stewart.
00:27:37.180 And I'm Catherine Clark.
00:27:38.420 And in this podcast, we interview Canada's most inspiring women.
00:27:42.160 Entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, politicians, and newsmakers,
00:27:45.720 all at different stages of their journey.
00:27:47.920 So if you're looking to connect, then we hope you'll join us.
00:27:51.140 Listen to the Honest Talk Podcast on iHeartRadio
00:27:53.520 or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
00:27:55.200 Well, let me ask you another question.
00:27:59.520 And this is about people that are really concerned about the election coming up.
00:28:04.740 And we have now got a headline.
00:28:07.400 And there's two parts of this headline that will drive you insane.
00:28:11.040 Number one, a Chinese foreign exchange student has been charged with multiple crimes.
00:28:16.480 That's good news.
00:28:17.960 For illegally voting in Michigan on Sunday.
00:28:21.640 Now, again, the headline there, you would think to yourself,
00:28:25.400 well, this is great news.
00:28:26.520 We had a guy that was illegally voting.
00:28:28.480 We caught him.
00:28:30.040 It's not going to count.
00:28:31.460 The problem is Michigan can't and won't disqualify an illegal vote cast by this Chinese national 1.00
00:28:39.560 because, quote, it's already been put through a tabulator.
00:28:43.920 So Michigan says, hey, it counts.
00:28:46.920 So there is someone that's going to show up and vote in Michigan.
00:28:49.560 And their vote is going to be canceled out by a Chinese foreign exchange student
00:28:54.640 that has been charged with multiple crimes for illegally voting.
00:28:57.960 But it still gets canceled out.
00:29:00.020 And yet Democrats are still sitting there saying it's racist if you say you have to show an ID before you vote.
00:29:06.840 Well, it's infuriating.
00:29:09.260 And understand why this happens.
00:29:11.720 This happened because the Democrats in Michigan passed a law, their voter ID law,
00:29:16.740 allows people to show a current student photo ID card from an educational institution in order to vote.
00:29:24.940 Now, the only problem is you don't have to be an American citizen to get a student ID.
00:29:29.700 In this case, you had a Chinese national who was from China.
00:29:33.060 He had a student ID.
00:29:34.000 It could be a student.
00:29:36.160 That's allowed.
00:29:37.640 But Chinese nationals are not allowed to vote in American elections.
00:29:42.340 And yet this individual did so.
00:29:44.380 He voted while it was illegal.
00:29:47.300 Two charges against a 19-year-old student.
00:29:50.480 He was not identified, but he is not a U.S. citizen.
00:29:53.240 And he's being charged.
00:29:54.320 And the reason that this is happening is because Democrats don't want you actually to have to prove you're a citizen.
00:30:03.800 You know, there was legislation called the SAVE Act.
00:30:06.980 The SAVE Act, they voted on it in the House of Representatives.
00:30:10.480 And the Democrats on essentially a straight party line vote, Democrat after Democrat after Democrat voted no.
00:30:17.760 The SAVE Act was very simple.
00:30:19.020 It said you have to demonstrate, you have to prove you're a citizen in order to register to vote.
00:30:22.460 It's common sense.
00:30:24.420 And yet, part of the, one of the reasons the Democrats voted no is they claimed, oh, this is not a problem.
00:30:29.920 No non-citizens vote.
00:30:31.240 Well, tell that to the Chinese national who just voted in Michigan.
00:30:34.760 And infuriatingly enough, the Michigan officials say, oh, and by the way, his vote's going to cast.
00:30:39.900 He's illegal.
00:30:41.560 He can't vote legally.
00:30:43.000 And yet we've already tabulated his vote.
00:30:45.100 That's what the Michigan officials are saying.
00:30:46.640 And I'll tell you, I'll bet you a large sum of money, Ben, that the candidate he voted for rhymes with Hamila Karras.
00:30:55.600 And yet, magically, that's going to be included in the vote tallies for Michigan, one of the key swing states.
00:31:03.420 And that's sadly an outcome I think the Democrats want.
00:31:08.460 Well, let's go back to the SAVE Act for a moment.
00:31:12.040 And this, I've heard and had more people come up to me, and I'm assuming you have as well, but I'm interested to see where people say, man, I feel like we're going to win this one.
00:31:22.340 I feel like we're on good footing.
00:31:23.740 I feel like momentum's this way.
00:31:24.780 Unless they cheat, unless something happens where they cheat, you get a story like this, and you see that the person was caught voting illegally.
00:31:35.880 Everybody knows it's illegal, and they're like, sorry, it already went through the tabulator.
00:31:38.600 We can't take it out now, so it's going to count.
00:31:41.400 This is why so many Americans, I think now, have no confidence in our election system.
00:31:47.680 And again, this goes back to what you guys try to do in Congress with the SAVE Act.
00:31:53.480 Remind people of how simple that would have been for us to be able to protect the votes of American citizens.
00:32:02.420 It was a simple requirement that you have to demonstrate American citizenship to register to vote.
00:32:07.860 And that's basic common sense, which is why the Democrats as a party are against it.
00:32:12.640 If they don't want non-citizens to vote, why are they opposed to demonstrating you're a citizen before you register to vote?
00:32:22.160 The answer is obvious, but look, here's the good news.
00:32:25.480 The good news is historically voter fraud has only mattered at the margins.
00:32:29.460 It's only mattered when it was close, which means in states across this country, particularly swing states, in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin,
00:32:37.740 we got to win by a big enough margin, they can't steal it.
00:32:40.540 Will you see unscrupulous Democrats trying to steal votes?
00:32:44.680 Absolutely.
00:32:45.380 It has happened every election for as long as we've had elections.
00:32:49.200 But the best way, A, we should do what we can to fight it and prevent it.
00:32:53.420 B, we should pass laws to make it more difficult.
00:32:55.640 But we're four days out.
00:32:57.260 The real answer now is that we need to turn voters out in every state in the country and win by such a big margin that nobody can steal the result.
00:33:06.220 As Trump puts it, make it too big to rig.
00:33:09.080 That's got to be, at this point, that has got to be the number one approach.
00:33:13.480 No doubt about it.
00:33:14.440 I want to tell you about Berna.
00:33:15.880 If you are like me and you want to make sure you can protect and defend your family,
00:33:19.940 then you're going to love what I'm about to tell you,
00:33:22.340 especially if you have a daughter that's living by herself or headed off to college.
00:33:27.820 Maybe you have a loved one that doesn't feel comfortable with a firearm or works in a place
00:33:31.760 or goes to a place where you cannot have a firearm.
00:33:34.900 There is another option, and it is called Berna Less Lethal.
00:33:40.100 It is amazing how Berna can save not just your life, but the life of someone else.
00:33:46.520 It's a great compliment.
00:33:47.740 I want to be clear to owning a firearm.
00:33:49.460 And if you or your family is in a situation where you feel threatened, you need to start with less lethal.
00:33:55.040 And Berna is legal in all 50 states.
00:33:57.780 There are no permits or background checks needed.
00:34:01.060 Now, I own this myself, and I got them for my wife, for my sister-in-law, my mother-in-law, my mom, and my sister.
00:34:09.420 That's how much I was like, yes, this makes sense.
00:34:13.020 This is a no-brainer after I use it the first time.
00:34:16.320 Berna is the answer because it's designed for easy use by all age groups 18 and older.
00:34:21.660 The Berna launcher has powerful deterrents like tear gas and kinetic rounds with a 60-foot range.
00:34:28.840 One shot can incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes.
00:34:33.800 So I love this more than, for example, a taser or more than a, you know, let's say you get somebody really close to you and you use pepper spray.
00:34:43.460 This can put 60 feet between you and your attacker.
00:34:47.680 It's used by government agencies and law enforcement around the country, and they have over 500,000 units that are sold.
00:34:55.420 More than 14,000 four-and-a-half-star reviews as well.
00:34:59.560 So I want you to visit Berna.com.

00:35:23.680 Senator, final question for you, and this is an election question.
00:35:28.560 There is massive early voting numbers that are coming in around the country.
00:35:35.080 There are two thoughts on this, and we see that women in swing states are outpacing men by about 10% when it comes to the votes that are coming in early voting.
00:35:47.880 Democrats say this is great.
00:35:50.160 It means that women are showing up, and they're voting on the issue of abortion, which means they're going to vote for Kamala Harris and other Democrats.
00:35:56.500 And then there's others that say, hold on a second, not so fast.
00:36:00.240 Conservatives are voting earlier now, and a lot of single mothers may be voting early, and a lot of mothers are struggling with the economy.
00:36:07.380 What is your gut on this?
00:36:09.200 Because I don't think it's a bunch of people showing up on the abortion issue.
00:36:14.360 Well, look, I think it probably varies state by state.
00:36:17.900 And so I don't know the data in the swing states.
00:36:22.700 I will say right now there is a real and meaningful gender gap in terms of the votes. 0.88
00:36:28.320 That if you look at it, Republicans right now are winning married men, Republicans are winning single men, and Republicans are winning married women.
00:36:37.900 However, Republicans are badly losing single women.
00:36:41.720 That is in terms of national polling.
00:36:45.580 So one of the questions that I would have, and this is where it's hard to generalize from data without knowing specifics,
00:36:52.340 but I would be very interested in the states where you're seeing a significantly larger number of women than men showing up early. 0.97
00:36:58.840 I would be very interested in the breakdown between married women and single women because there's a significant difference in their voting pattern. 0.95
00:37:06.940 I can tell you also, at least in the state of Texas where early voting is happening, we're not seeing a significant differential between women and men.
00:37:15.040 We're seeing about equal numbers of both voting in the state of Texas.
00:37:18.460 I don't know about the other states.
00:37:19.900 I haven't studied the numbers there, but it is difficult to generalize.
00:37:24.720 Look, it's possible if you get a bunch of single women who are voting Democrats showing up in large numbers, that is a good data point for Kamala Harris. 1.00
00:37:33.560 I don't know if that's the case or not.
00:37:35.340 It may be that you have a bunch of conservative women. 1.00
00:37:37.800 You have a bunch of married women who are coming out to vote for Donald Trump. 0.98
00:37:40.900 You are right that Republicans are voting early in significantly greater frequency than they did previously.
00:37:48.060 And I think one of the big reasons for that is that Trump asked them to.
00:37:51.880 And the Republican Party is making a very concerted effort to encourage people to vote early.
00:37:56.520 So that one data point on its own, it's hard to generalize about.
00:38:01.100 You really need to drill down more deeply into the data.
00:38:04.320 It's going to be a tight one.
00:38:05.880 It's a reminder.
00:38:06.960 Go out and vote.
00:38:08.540 It is a very important election wherever you are in the country.
00:38:13.300 Do not wait to the last moment.
00:38:15.720 Get out there and vote wherever you can.
