Verdict with Ted Cruz - Witnesses and Impeachment, WH Moves Goal Post to Protect Joe, plus Mayor Adam's Immigration Problem Week In Review

00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.

00:00:02.620 Guaranteed human.

00:00:05.400 Welcome.

00:00:06.120 It is the Verdict with Ted Cruz.

00:00:07.960 Weekend review.

00:00:08.940 Ben Ferguson with you.

00:00:10.260 And these are the big stories that you may have missed that we talked about this week.

00:00:14.760 We're going to deal with this.

00:00:16.380 Number one, witnesses in the Hunter Biden case.

00:00:19.940 Who are they going to be?

00:00:21.100 And who's going to be called to testify before Congress if there is an impeachment hearing

00:00:26.160 moving forward?

00:00:26.960 And how important could these witnesses be and how damning could they be to the President

00:00:32.280 of the United States of America, Joe Biden?

00:00:34.100 We're going to talk about that.

00:00:35.860 Number two, the White House has also moved the goalposts for a third time when it comes

00:00:41.360 to the President and what he is admitting to now with business dealings with Hunter Biden.

00:00:47.100 You may recall that the President said over and over again he never spoke about business

00:00:50.760 with his son.

00:00:52.000 He never spoke about business with any of the Biden family members.

00:00:55.840 That's a lie.

00:00:56.960 They then said, well, he was never in business with his son.

00:01:00.740 Now they've changed it again.

00:01:02.220 I'll tell you what that third excuse is in just a moment.

00:01:06.180 And finally, Mayor Mike Adams in New York City and other liberal mayors are having serious

00:01:12.760 regrets about being a welcoming, loving, kind city for illegal immigrants, being a sanctuary

00:01:19.220 city.

00:01:20.440 Now they're demanding change, but they're refusing to tell the President to shut down the border.

00:01:25.740 It is the Weekend Review with Ted Cruz, and it starts right now.

00:01:31.000 Senator, I want to ask you also in impeachment real quick about witnesses.

00:01:35.840 Are there people that can now be called that may have to answer for their involvement, whether

00:01:40.540 it's those of the DOJ, whether it's Hunter Biden, whether it's other Biden family members?

00:01:46.000 Walk us through how an impeachment works when it comes to witnesses.

00:01:48.960 Well, Merrick Garland is expected to testify before the House Judiciary Committee in the

00:01:53.980 coming days, and he will certainly face significant questions about the allegations that he personally

00:01:59.340 lied under oath and committed a felony.

00:02:01.660 Now, I assume he'll dodge all of them and defiantly and arrogantly refuse to engage in the substance.

00:02:08.200 I also assume he will get questions about the allegations of obstruction of justice, and I expect

00:02:13.460 Merrick Garland to not be remotely forthcoming.

00:02:18.020 I think at some point you will see David Weiss called before Congress to testify.

00:02:23.540 David Weiss has been directly implicated in the obstruction of justice, which is, I believe,

00:02:27.600 why Merrick Garland named him the, quote, special counsel, because Garland and the Biden DOJ knew

00:02:32.900 they could count on Weiss to protect the big guy, and that's their most important objective.

00:02:37.800 We've talked about how Schwerin, who was the kind of money guy and fixer for Biden, is a

00:02:44.060 very likely witness and could be a very damning witness, and I would anticipate seeing him come.

00:02:50.360 And then we may well, I assume, Hunter Biden, if he's called to testify, will stonewall at this point the legal...

00:02:58.800 What does that look like? When you say stonewall, like, is it a tactic, or are you saying he just won't answer questions?

00:03:04.000 My assumption is he'll plead the fifth.

00:03:05.760 Okay, so he'll just come in and say, I plead the fifth, and that's the end of it.

00:03:08.380 I assume that's the case, given the multiple felonies, and the fact that even Dad's White House seems to be running away from him.

00:03:19.640 I would be shocked if Hunter Biden said anything else other than on the advice of counsel, I plead the fifth.

00:03:26.940 I will say one other thing, which is this Biden impeachment is demonstrating the utter and complete hypocrisy of congressional Democrats.

00:03:37.380 Let me read what Chuck Schumer said this week right after the House announced its impeachment.

00:03:43.660 Schumer said, quote,

00:03:44.740 So Schumer is literally using Trump's language about witch hunts and just repeating word for word what the defense was.

00:04:07.400 Now, look, I think the Biden impeachments of Trump were witch hunts.

00:04:10.880 Ironically, this is not.

00:04:12.240 This is serious evidence that Congress would be derelict if it didn't investigate.

00:04:17.360 Here, by the way, is a quote from Democrat Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut.

00:04:22.120 Quote,

00:04:23.520 This is what banana dictatorships do, is arrest political opponents without any evidence. 0.99

00:04:29.980 Now, that's screamingly funny.

00:04:33.440 Yeah.

00:04:33.960 Given that the Democrats have arrested their political opponent like a banana republic.

00:04:40.960 Yeah. 0.97

00:04:41.620 But part of the reasons Democrats can be such total hypocrites is they know the corporate media will never call them out on it. 0.97

00:04:50.560 The corporate media will nod and say, yes, yes, banana republic. 0.99

00:04:53.600 Terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible.

00:04:55.280 No direct evidence, no direct evidence.

00:04:57.660 And if you take nothing else from this podcast today, remember, every time they say the words, no direct evidence, they're lying.

00:05:06.480 One other thing about this, and this is where people say, OK, we have this thing.

00:05:12.180 It happens.

00:05:13.600 Let's say it is a big deal.

00:05:14.640 Let's say there are some some some, you know, minds that the Democrats step on the White House steps on.

00:05:20.540 We still don't have the votes in the Senate to do anything about it.

00:05:23.360 Right. That's what they're going to that's what people that are cynical and frustrated are going to say about this.

00:05:28.220 So how should we be looking at this impeachment?

00:05:32.100 Is this should should should should people that are listening look at it from a standpoint of, hey, we're getting the truth out there in a very big way about Joe Biden before he's running for reelection.

00:05:41.420 And that can be extremely powerful.

00:05:43.020 And in other words, judgment day may be election day.

00:05:46.840 Or should we look at it and be frustrated and cynical because, like, well, even if we nail this thing in the House, it ain't going to pass the Senate.

00:05:53.220 So he's not going to be impeached and lose his job over this.

00:05:56.080 What mindset, what hat should listeners put on?

00:05:58.800 So a little bit of both.

00:06:00.500 Listen, the cynicism is not misplaced.

00:06:03.900 Senate Democrats and House Democrats do not care what evidence there is of Joe Biden being corrupt of his soliciting and receiving bribes from foreign oligarchs.

00:06:12.800 They don't care. Partisan politics trumps everything. 0.91

00:06:16.080 To use my hypothetical, if the dead guy had scrawled in blood, Ferguson did it with Joe Biden.

00:06:23.820 Yeah. And Joe Biden walked out covered in his blood.

00:06:29.880 Democrats would be like nothing to see here.

00:06:32.300 Remind people what the makeup of the Senate right now.

00:06:34.880 Makeup of the Senate is 51 Democrats, 49 Republicans.

00:06:37.800 All right. We've heard about some people maybe becoming independent.

00:06:39.960 We've heard, you know, wishy-washy things about Joe Manchin, for example.

00:06:43.380 Is there any scenario where the evidence could be so damning on the House side that you could you could flip two different people's people in the Senate?

00:06:51.660 It wouldn't matter if you flip two because you need two thirds.

00:06:54.300 You need 67.

00:06:55.440 There you go.

00:06:56.020 And right now we have zero.

00:06:57.760 Right now we have zero Democrats who, to the best of my knowledge, I'm not aware of a single Democrat who's even asked a skeptical question,

00:07:04.960 who has even said, well, you know, if Biden did in fact solicit and receive bribes from foreign nationals, that would be a problem.

00:07:12.420 No Democrat has even said that.

00:07:14.240 And you contrast this to Richard Nixon.

00:07:16.520 Listen, the reason Richard Nixon resigned in disgrace is Republicans turned on him.

00:07:20.980 They turned on him when the evidence got overwhelming.

00:07:22.840 And they had the two thirds.

00:07:23.780 And I don't believe Democrats would ever, ever, ever turn on Biden because partisanship matters more than anything.

00:07:31.840 But be that as it may, that does not mean that impeachment is a waste of time because it is the only way to put these facts before the American people.

00:07:42.320 In a sane and normal world, the Department of Justice would investigate and prosecute him.

00:07:48.280 We'd get a special counsel who was independent, who was consistent with the DOJ rules, was not an employee of DOJ,

00:07:55.420 and actually would investigate and convene a grand jury and potentially prosecute these crimes.

00:08:01.320 The Biden DOJ won't do that because it's the most partisan and political DOJ we've ever seen.

00:08:06.560 But putting these facts before the American people is valuable nonetheless.

00:08:10.700 But to be clear, a critical part of that is what we're doing right now on verdict, which is the million people who listen to verdict.

00:08:19.560 All of y'all now have the information when you go and you're talking to your brother-in-law,

00:08:25.920 you're talking to your co-worker, you're talking to your classmate, and they say,

00:08:31.060 well, you know, there's no direct evidence because that's the talking point they've heard.

00:08:34.920 You now know how to refute that, and that is powerful.

00:08:38.120 That has a multiplier effect, and it's how I believe ultimately you force accountability.

00:08:45.080 I said on my podcast today, I always worry, because you've noticed this in the polls,

00:08:50.560 Biden poll numbers right now are not good.

00:08:52.700 And the media seems to be telling more of the truth about how bad the poll numbers are.

00:08:57.980 And the majority of Americans now say they do believe that Joe Biden was corrupt in some manner with his son in the business dealings.

00:09:03.780 That's significant. CNN even came out.

00:09:07.200 PBS on Sunday, they even had one of their commentators who said,

00:09:10.600 I underestimated Joe Biden's involvement with Hunter Biden and the Biden family businesses.

00:09:17.300 Is there a concern that if the Republicans play this too strong and don't take their time to lay out the evidence,

00:09:24.020 that this could backfire in the same way?

00:09:25.660 And again, I'm asking from a political standpoint, that every time the Democrats indict Donald Trump, what happens?

00:09:33.760 Republicans stand behind Donald Trump even more.

00:09:36.040 They send him money.

00:09:37.320 They support him.

00:09:38.540 His poll numbers go up.

00:09:40.220 Is there a concern that if Republicans don't nail this the right way,

00:09:43.760 that this actually galvanizes people that maybe are wishy-washy on Biden,

00:09:48.300 and that it actually helps him stand up better than he is right now?

00:09:51.440 Yeah, look, that is conceivable, and there's no doubt that the multiple indictments against Trump

00:09:56.720 have added a lot of points, at least 10 points to his numbers in the primary,

00:10:01.980 because Republicans have understandably gotten pissed off that it's obviously a political persecution.

00:10:07.320 So that counsels that the Republicans in the House need to proceed carefully.

00:10:11.860 They need to be facts-based.

00:10:12.940 They need to be evidence-based.

00:10:14.160 They need to not have it appear political.

00:10:16.960 Now, in today's world, there will be people who naturally assume it's political,

00:10:22.660 but that is certainly a vulnerability to be aware of.

00:10:26.100 Another vulnerability is, at some point, the Democrats and or the media might decide

00:10:31.420 that Joe Biden is too wounded and jettison him and try to parachute someone else in.

00:10:36.120 I think that remains a very real risk.

00:10:38.280 We're going to talk about that a lot more on the podcast, but not on this one.

00:10:41.760 Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,

00:10:44.600 you can go back and listen to the full podcast from earlier this week.

00:11:18.400 Now on to story number two.

00:11:22.860 Senator, I also want to ask you about this.

00:11:24.840 The White House had a very interesting response.

00:11:29.060 And this is the third change now in the goalposts for Joe Biden's involvement with Hunter Biden's businesses.

00:11:37.080 The first was they never spoke about business ever.

00:11:40.920 Then they changed it to he was never in business with his son.

00:11:46.180 That was the goalposts moving yet again.

00:11:49.140 Now the White House's Ian Sams came out and moved the goalposts again when he said this.

00:11:55.140 The other allegations is the president was present at some of the meetings between Hunter Biden and his business associates.

00:12:01.220 Why was the president at those meetings on those phone calls?

00:12:06.480 Well, again, I think this is part of the right wing's misinformation machine to try to confuse people about what the truth is.

00:12:13.740 The truth is that the president, as he has said publicly for years, calls his family every day to check in.

00:12:20.580 He calls his son every day to check in.

00:12:22.120 He calls his other family members to check in to see how they're doing.

00:12:25.160 He loves them.

00:12:25.740 They're a tight knit family.

00:12:27.020 And what the GOP's own witness testified in this case is that that's exactly what the president was doing.

00:12:33.200 He was checking in with Hunter during a particularly hard time, I might add, a time where the family was going through Hunter's brother Bo's illness.

00:12:42.280 And of course, the president checks in with his son and talks to him.

00:12:45.700 But again, that witness testified no business dealings of Hunter Biden's or anyone's was discussed in these conversations.

00:12:52.000 And so, again, they're trying to make this sort of strange connection when their own investigation has disproven these claims.

00:12:59.860 Before I let you go in, is the president response in terms of how the president has reacted to this, especially somebody who's been in politics and been in Washington for as long as he has been?

00:13:10.080 The idea that he is now subject to an impeachment inquiry as president of the United States.

00:13:14.240 What's his response to that?

00:13:15.820 You know, the president has been in politics for a long time.

00:13:18.220 And I think, as he would say, he's seen a lot of malarkey along the way.

00:13:21.140 But this might take the cake.

00:13:22.840 You know, he's focused on the issues that actually matter to the American people.

00:13:25.520 You just saw him spending the last week traveling around the world, shoring up our alliances, advancing national interests in Asia, our economic interests in Asia, showing American leadership on the world stage.

00:13:38.060 He's coming back here.

00:13:38.920 He's announcing today a quarter billion dollar investment in cancer research to try to finally cure cancer.

00:13:44.500 That's what his administration and this president is focused on every day.

00:13:47.660 They're focused on the actual needs of the American people.

00:13:50.180 And I think what he would say is maybe the House Republicans should join him.

00:13:55.080 There's the part in there where he says that Joe Biden attended Hunter's business meetings because he loves him.

00:14:02.380 That's the new goalpost that they just moved significantly from.

00:14:05.880 They never talked about business to then.

00:14:07.700 Well, they never worked together.

00:14:09.120 Now it's well, he just went to the business meetings because he loves him.

00:14:12.180 Really?

00:14:12.640 That's the new excuse?

00:14:13.620 Well, look, I mean, what good and loving and devoted father hasn't called in 20 times to his son's meeting with corrupt oligarchs who are paying millions of dollars in exchange for favors from that father while he's sitting and serving as the vice president of the United States?

00:14:34.780 I mean, that's really just what any good dad would do.

00:14:37.080 I mean, it really is.

00:14:40.680 It's cynical because they point out that Joe's other son tragically died of cancer.

00:14:46.800 So they want to wrap it in in in in the sympathy of of of of a human tragedy to say, well, of course, you know, listen, why was Hunter getting paid the millions of dollars?

00:15:01.480 I didn't hear him say a word about that.

00:15:04.520 There's no value.

00:15:05.760 Hunter provides.

00:15:06.880 What was the value Hunter brought?

00:15:10.860 You know, Ben, you're a talented guy.

00:15:12.800 You're a charming guy.

00:15:14.400 Are there any foreign oligarchs calling you up saying, Ben, I want to wire millions of dollars to you?

00:15:20.300 Zero.

00:15:21.780 That's not.

00:15:22.640 You know, they don't do that to anybody.

00:15:25.820 They only do it if you are providing value.

00:15:29.420 And what all of these talking heads, what all of these Democrat hacks are saying, what all of the corporate media puppets are refusing to answer is, is what did Hunter get in exchange for the tens of millions of dollars?

00:15:46.940 And according to the House, it could be north of 20, 30 million dollars.

00:15:50.920 We're talking massive amounts of money.

00:15:53.360 And by the way, not money from, you know, normal American companies, not money from our friends and allies.

00:16:02.520 It wasn't money from France.

00:16:03.900 It wasn't money from Italy.

00:16:05.120 It wasn't money from the United Kingdom.

00:16:07.100 Wasn't money from Japan.

00:16:08.920 It was money from China, Russia, Ukraine.

00:16:14.820 They singled out nations with very significant antagonism and hostility to America and some of the most corrupt nations on Earth.

00:16:30.880 And there is no innocent explanation.

00:16:33.840 By the way, you don't hear any of these Democrats explaining why did Joe Biden have multiple burner phones?

00:16:38.820 Why did he have fake emails?

00:16:40.160 Why did he use fake emails to send emails to his son Hunter about Ukraine on government email while Hunter was getting paid millions of dollars?

00:16:50.800 All of that, the Democrats want you to ignore and say, well, gosh, Joe's just a loving dad.

00:16:59.480 And that's what loving dads do.

00:17:01.120 They help their their their sons make 30 million dollars from corrupt oligarchs who are enemies of America.

00:17:07.320 I want to get back to this montage, Senator.

00:17:09.840 That was one that went viral.

00:17:11.280 And I hope you will give this to your friends.

00:17:14.160 Share it on social media, because it's another example of how many lies have been told by the Bidens

00:17:19.060 and how much the media has been willing to cover for them.

00:17:21.740 And this is what this impeachment inquiry is going to be all about.

00:17:25.200 Never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their businesses.

00:17:32.080 President Biden met with at least 14 of Hunter's business associates while he was vice president.

00:17:37.620 Then vice president Joe Biden had dinner with his son Hunter, along with Hunter's business associates from Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan.

00:17:45.000 And the day after the dinner, a Burisma executive sent a note to Hunter quoting, dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to D.C.

00:17:52.680 and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spend some time together.

00:17:57.220 Hunter's lucrative business dealings often included giving as much as 50 percent of his earnings to his dad.

00:18:03.860 The text read, quote, I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years.

00:18:10.300 It's really hard, but don't worry, unlike Pop, I won't make you give me half your salary.

00:18:15.260 His son, Hunter, joining the then vice president on the official visit to Beijing.

00:18:19.920 Unknown to the press back then, Hunter Biden was forming a Chinese private equity fund, planning to raise money, including from Chinese investors.

00:18:27.720 Ten days after the Biden's trip, Shanghai authorities issued the fund's business license.

00:18:32.600 And Hunter introduced me as this is Tony, dad, the individual I told you about that's helping us with the business that we're working on and the Chinese.

00:18:41.760 The email reads this way, quote, at the moment, there's a provisional agreement that the equity will be distributed as follows.

00:18:48.220 Ten held by Hunter for the big guy.

00:18:50.680 I thousand percent sit here and know that the big guy is referencing Joe Biden.

00:18:55.380 I met with the former vice president in person multiple times.

00:18:58.920 A newly revealed text message shows Bobulinski was apparently warned by business partner James Gillier.

00:19:04.960 Don't mention Joe being involved.

00:19:06.960 It's only when you are face to face.

00:19:08.860 I know you know that, but they are paranoid.

00:19:11.340 Chinese executives admitted to reporters that they were actually introduced to the vice president by Hunter Biden.

00:19:18.220 Hunter and the then vice president seen with a pair of Mexican billionaires.

00:19:22.240 At the same time, Hunter had been working on energy deals in Mexico.

00:19:25.660 Joe Biden also had Hunter and his business partner fly on Air Force Two to Mexico.

00:19:31.180 His closest business partner, Hunter, has made at least 19 visits to the White House and other official locations, including a sit down with then vice president Joe Biden in the West Wing.

00:19:40.460 There is photographic evidence of Biden on a golf outing with both his son Hunter and a man called Devin Archer, who was another member of the Burisma Board.

00:19:48.580 We also know that Devin Archer in that picture had a meeting in the White House, one on one meeting with Joe Biden about a week before they joined the Burisma Board.

00:20:00.040 You hear that, Senator, and this explains exactly why this impeachment inquiry is going to be so important.

00:20:06.460 Well, it does. It also explains why the Democrat talking point and the corporate media talking point that there is no evidence of Joe Biden's corruption is flatly false.

00:20:18.860 And I got to say, James Carville saying he's really looking forward to hearings on this.

00:20:23.620 Well, you know what, James? So am I.

00:20:26.200 As before, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation on this topic, you can go back and download the podcast from early this week to hear the entire thing.

00:21:06.280 I want to get back to the big story number three of the week you may have missed.

00:21:10.620 There was a moment this last week, which I didn't actually laugh.

00:21:14.960 At first, my response was to laugh at Mayor Adams in New York City, basically declaring a state of emergency, saying we can't handle this.

00:21:21.040 We're totally overrun.

00:21:22.020 And I wanted to laugh, but I'm also like, yeah, welcome to the world of what we deal with every hour, not every day, not every week like you guys are freaking out over.

00:21:31.100 The number of illegals coming across the border in Texas, as you described it.

00:21:34.140 We're talking about hundreds of thousands per month.

00:21:36.240 This is every hour for us.

00:21:37.920 And yet he had this, like, dire warning to New York City.

00:21:41.540 Take a look.

00:21:42.100 We turned this city around in 20 months.

00:21:45.960 And then what happened?

00:21:47.500 Started with a madman down in Texas, decided he wanted to bus people up to New York City.

00:21:54.020 Hundred and ten thousand migrants.

00:21:59.100 We have to feed, close, house, educate the children, wash their laundry sheets, give them everything they need.

00:22:08.420 Healthcare and this team here, we stated, let's do everything possible before we have to push it out into neighborhoods and communities.

00:22:18.160 Month after month, I stood up and I said, this is going to come to a neighborhood near you.

00:22:23.580 Well, we're here.

00:22:25.400 We're here.

00:22:26.580 We're getting no support on this national crisis.

00:22:33.120 And we're receiving no support.

00:22:35.180 And let me tell you something, New Yorkers.

00:22:38.420 Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to.

00:22:44.980 I don't see an ending to this.

00:22:47.760 I don't see an ending to this.

00:22:50.140 This issue will destroy New York City.

00:22:55.520 Destroy New York City.

00:22:57.240 If you use this logic, then this issue will destroy the United States of America.

00:23:02.500 It would certainly destroy Texas if we continue on this road that we're on right now.

00:23:07.140 And he's begging for help.

00:23:08.720 And I'm like, come down to Texas.

00:23:09.980 You think it's bad in New York City with 110,000?

00:23:12.860 I'd say at this point, double it.

00:23:14.600 Let's send twice as many busloads up to New York because then maybe he'll talk to these other liberals and they'll realize, hey, we got to secure the southern border. 0.71

00:23:21.860 Well, he complains.

00:23:22.940 He says we're getting no help and no support with the national crisis.

00:23:25.980 Well, no kidding, Eric.

00:23:26.980 What do you think we're getting?

00:23:29.080 Zero support. 0.95

00:23:30.660 And I love that he starts with a madman down in Texas. 0.98

00:23:35.840 All right, newsflash. 0.72

00:23:37.560 The border crisis was not caused by Governor Greg Abbott.

00:23:42.040 You know who the border crisis was caused by?

00:23:46.080 Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi.

00:23:52.300 You know, if Eric Adams doesn't like this border crisis, he ought to pick up the phone and call someone who lives in Manhattan.

00:23:58.140 His name is Charles Schumer.

00:23:59.800 And Chuck Schumer has defended Joe Biden's open borders every single day for the last two and a half years.

00:24:07.060 He's blocked every effort to secure the border.

00:24:09.820 He's blocked every effort to build the wall.

00:24:12.040 He's blocked every effort to deport illegal immigrants.

00:24:15.540 He's blocked every effort to reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy.

00:24:19.500 He's blocked every effort to pass Kate's law, which I introduced, to lock up and have mandatory minimum sentences for violent criminals who repeatedly reenter this country.

00:24:30.480 Eric Adams' party created this problem, and they didn't just create it in the past.

00:24:34.760 They are creating it today, and they intend to create it tomorrow.

00:24:38.320 And they intend to create it going on and on and on and on.

00:24:41.040 He says 110,000 people are destroying New York City.

00:24:44.460 New York City has 8 million people in it.

00:24:48.000 110,000 is enough to destroy it.

00:24:50.380 Guess what, Eric?

00:24:51.960 How do you think McAllen, Texas feels?

00:24:54.300 How do you think Del Rio feels?

00:24:55.840 How do you think Brownsville feels?

00:24:57.440 How do you think Laredo feels?

00:24:58.920 How do you think El Paso feels?

00:25:00.380 All of those are infinitely smaller cities than New York City, and they're getting swamped by much larger flows of immigrants. 1.00

00:25:09.140 And by the way, the clowns in Eric Adams' parties, here's their response. 0.96

00:25:13.940 Uh-oh. 0.98

00:25:15.480 New York mayor's mad at us.

00:25:17.680 We don't want 110,000 to come to New York.

00:25:20.480 Let's put them all in Texas. 0.86

00:25:21.840 Let's put them all around Texas, right?

00:25:23.420 Keep them all in Texas. 0.98

00:25:24.620 Keep them there.

00:25:25.020 Well, and he also, if he wants to be mad at somebody, he should be mad at himself from 2021, because this is what he said in 2021 about illegal immigrants coming to New York City.

00:25:32.900 Take a look.

00:25:33.800 When you think about it, the days I spent with our essential employees, a substantial number of them were undocumented.

00:25:43.120 They were delivering our Uber Eats.

00:25:45.520 They were stocking our stores.

00:25:47.560 They were out in the streets keeping our city running.

00:25:50.500 We have to expand NYC care to make sure everyone has health care.

00:25:55.540 We need to make sure we have proper translation services in our schools.

00:25:59.140 He wants to expand everything.

00:26:00.760 Wow. 0.99

00:26:01.240 If Mayor Adams heard that fool, think how mad he would be at that guy, because that guy just invited all the illegal immigrants to New York City. 1.00

00:26:10.460 The hypocrisy on this is massive. 1.00

00:26:15.020 Well, and it's not just the hypocrisy there. 0.92

00:26:16.940 It's also the elitists in New York City.

00:26:19.640 You've done The View.

00:26:21.160 Ana Navarro, I had to deal with her for seven years when I was fighting her at CNN. 1.00

00:26:25.940 I feel like I still deserve a medal for that.

00:26:28.480 But she's on The View.

00:26:30.020 She's now angry, just like the people in Martha's Vineyard who declared a state of emergency when they got, what was it, 50 illegal immigrants? 1.00

00:26:35.540 And got rid of them in like 12 hours, but clapped as they were kicking them out of their Martha's Vineyard. 0.66

00:26:39.520 She's on TV losing her mind this week because she can't imagine this idea of having to deal with illegal immigrants. 1.00

00:26:45.120 Keep them all down there in Texas. 0.97

00:26:46.320 Take a look.

00:26:46.780 But frankly, you know, I think we need to find and we've dealt with this before.

00:26:51.040 I lived in Miami.

00:26:52.980 I was a migrant, an immigrant in Miami in the 80s.

00:26:56.200 You'll remember when we had the Marielle Boatlift.

00:26:58.880 Yeah.

00:26:59.020 125,000 Cubans came in a matter of six months.

00:27:03.520 It puts tremendous stress on a city, on a community, on the social services.

00:27:11.340 They need to be resettled elsewhere.

00:27:13.920 Need to be resettled elsewhere.

00:27:15.660 Like, I'm compassionate as long as it's not on my block or in my city or down by my five-star Michelin restaurant that I love to go to.

00:27:22.080 So this needs to be the bumper sticker for every liberal in America.

00:27:25.880 They need to be resettled elsewhere.

00:27:28.300 Yeah.

00:27:28.460 Not in my backyard, not in my bedroom, not in my living room. 0.99

00:27:32.340 I don't want to see them, but send them to where those dirty, dirty deplorables live. 1.00

00:27:38.000 Send them to red states. 1.00

00:27:40.080 Send them to flyover country.

00:27:41.840 You people aren't compassionate enough.

00:27:44.920 I don't want them here is what she's saying. 1.00

00:27:47.400 But let's send them to help educate the ignorant Americans. 0.99

00:27:54.400 The contempt from the left for the people of America is astonishing. 0.99

00:27:59.960 It's also the hypocrisy I do laugh about her because she actually owns her family, like her husband, they own a hotel.

00:28:06.300 I wonder how many illegal immigrants they've opened up their hotel to.

00:28:08.880 Not even their house, just their hotel.

00:28:10.400 Like, you would think somebody would ask that question.

00:28:13.040 Let's not get crazy on that.

00:28:14.660 No, no, no, no, no, no.

00:28:16.020 You can't expect liberals actually to do anything.

00:28:18.660 But I will say, all right, this next clip from The View really does capture it because I – well, just play it.

00:28:25.160 And I thought this country, with its big, you know, Statute of Liberty, give me your week and all of this, is supposed to be the country that accepts people.

00:28:33.500 Yes.

00:28:33.940 And I'm disappointed in Mayor Adams.

00:28:37.500 Of course she is.

00:28:39.000 Now, mind you, has she taken anyone in?

00:28:40.800 No.

00:28:41.200 No, of course not.

00:28:42.140 And Adams did say, hey, you might want to open your homes to illegal immigrants.

00:28:45.200 Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no.

00:28:46.300 Excuse me, when you've got a penthouse overlooking Park Avenue, you might let someone in to scrub the floors briefly, but you better get out before the party starts.

00:28:57.020 The utter hypocrisy, no interest in actually understanding what's going on.

00:29:02.800 And by the way, the Statute of Liberty, look, I'm the son of an immigrant.

00:29:06.820 We are a nation of immigrants.

00:29:08.300 There's a right way to come.

00:29:09.980 You come legally.

00:29:11.360 That's how you come to the United States.

00:29:12.940 But don't bother liberals to say that.

00:29:14.780 But she says, we need to be compassionate.

00:29:18.360 By we, she means you.

00:29:20.500 Not her.

00:29:21.660 You. 1.00

00:29:22.920 And it is utter crap. 1.00

00:29:27.800 Look, it was two years ago that I introduced legislation in the Senate. 0.99

00:29:32.220 And it was legislation that said we need to change the ports of entry where we send illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard, to Nantucket, to Palo Alto, California, to the Hamptons.

00:29:44.780 To Block Island, to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where Joe Biden vacations.

00:29:51.240 To every place that wealthy liberals sit and sip their Chardonnay.

00:29:57.900 And remember, when I introduced that legislation, that the county executive at Martha's Vineyard blasted me.

00:30:04.640 Yeah.

00:30:05.440 And he said, Cruz does not understand illegal immigration.

00:30:10.160 Really, Skippy, is that the case?

00:30:12.020 He said, he doesn't understand.

00:30:13.520 He doesn't know what's going on.

00:30:14.920 And he says, we at Martha's Vineyard would welcome illegal immigrants.

00:30:20.980 For 12 hours.

00:30:21.880 To Martha's Vineyard.

00:30:23.600 And then, several months later, Ron DeSantis actually took him up on that and sent 50, 5-0.

00:30:30.540 Let's recall the numbers.

00:30:31.700 There are between 20,000 and 30,000 people who live in Martha's Vineyard.

00:30:35.180 50 illegal immigrants landing in a community of 20,000 to 30,000 people.

00:30:39.920 He immediately declared an emergency.

00:30:42.120 He called in the National Guard.

00:30:43.660 And he deported them within 24 hours.

00:30:45.560 That's what liberals do. 1.00

00:30:46.860 Brought in more National Guard members than the actual number of illegals.

00:30:49.460 It was like almost a two-to-one ratio.

00:30:51.260 Like, for every one illegal, we'll bring in two guys in military fatigues to deal with you.

00:30:55.640 And, by the way, it's not just Eric Adams.

00:30:59.220 It's the governor of New York.

00:31:01.140 It's the governor of Massachusetts.

00:31:03.320 It's the mayor of Washington, D.C.

00:31:05.260 It's the mayor of Chicago.

00:31:07.080 It's the mayor of San Francisco.

00:31:08.960 They're all discovering, oh, wait, these policies that my party advocates, my party fight for, my party implements,

00:31:17.120 are really crappy policies that are hurting everybody.

00:31:19.840 And it's like, oh, really?

00:31:21.080 Really, yeah.

00:31:21.620 Oh, Fox News, one of the guys over there, Bill McGowan, put this tweet out,

00:31:25.140 which I thought was pretty interesting.

00:31:26.340 He said, from an awareness perspective, Texas bussing migrants to sanctuary cities has been incredibly effective.

00:31:32.260 That's why I'm like, double it.

00:31:33.340 Like, it's working.

00:31:34.240 That's the best money you could ever spend.

00:31:36.080 Double it.

00:31:36.640 DeSantis and Florida, double it.

00:31:38.100 Any other state, double it.

00:31:39.380 Fill the buses up and keep doing it because it's clearly working.

00:31:42.660 None of these cities expressed concern about the border prior.

00:31:45.880 Now, question mark, New York City mayor says the city will be, quote, unquote, destroyed.

00:31:50.320 Chicago begging now for federal help.

00:31:52.300 M.A. activating their National Guard.

00:31:54.880 And L.A. is now threatening to sue Governor Abbott.

00:31:57.780 I mean, it's working.

00:31:59.880 But by the way, why isn't L.A. threatening to sue Joe Biden?

00:32:03.800 Joe Biden's the one who's refusing to follow the law.

00:32:06.240 Joe Biden's the one who's created the border crisis.

00:32:10.000 And it's an amazing thing.

00:32:13.140 Actually, put the next tweet up here.

00:32:14.280 This is a response, by the way, this tweet, which is pretty interesting.

00:32:19.060 And at the front says, in Texas, there's only buses to 40,000 people in total.

00:32:23.660 So just 40,000 out of all that have come across.

00:32:26.760 Two million people have been released from the border and traveled in the U.S. interior.

00:32:29.980 Only 2% took Abbott's buses.

00:32:32.920 Question, where are the other 1.96 million people?

00:32:37.920 Well, and that actually understates it because you also have at least 1.4 million gotaways.

00:32:44.020 All of them are there as well.

00:32:45.760 So that takes you up to 3.5 million.

00:32:49.640 You also have the people who escape that we don't know that are not categorized as gotaways

00:32:54.080 because not everyone who gets in illegally is categorized as one or the other.

00:32:58.920 So you're looking at 4, 5, 6 million people.

00:33:03.440 And what are the Democrats doing?

00:33:05.180 They're freaking out about 40,000 on buses.

00:33:08.140 Yeah.

00:33:08.920 The truth of the matter, listen, Joe Biden has been flying people into New York every week.

00:33:17.720 Does Eric Adams not know Chuck Schumer's phone number?

00:33:20.360 I can give it to him.

00:33:21.640 Mayor Adams, I'm going to make an offer to you.

00:33:24.780 If you would like, I will give you Chuck Schumer's personal cell number

00:33:29.680 because apparently you don't know how to contact your fellow New Yorker.

00:33:33.800 Y'all can have dinner right down the street from each other.

00:33:36.260 Your fellow New Yorker could take up and schedule a vote this week to solve this problem.

00:33:42.640 And so if you don't know how to contact him, let me help you.

00:33:45.560 Latest numbers are in.

00:33:46.640 Just to put it in perspective, data shows 183,503 illegal immigrants

00:33:51.180 were encountered attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in July alone.

00:33:56.500 That's a 27% increase in the crossings from last month.

00:34:00.420 So month over month up, 27%.

00:34:03.860 Quote, more than 7.2 million illegal immigrants have crossed the southern border

00:34:08.000 since Biden took office.

00:34:10.160 Those are the newest numbers from July.

00:34:12.020 This includes the nearly 5.8 million illegal immigrants

00:34:14.880 that the Customs and Border Protection, as you mentioned, have encountered

00:34:18.500 and the more than 1.4 million gotaways that have escaped past border patrol in the U.S.

00:34:23.000 so far this year.

00:34:23.760 A reminder, the Biden administration was secretly flying illegals from the border

00:34:29.240 into New York since at least the summer of 2021.

00:34:31.940 They don't mention that, do they?

00:34:33.420 No, they don't at all.

00:34:34.980 And they don't mention who can fix it.

00:34:37.940 Greg Abbott doesn't have the ability to stop Joe Biden's open borders.

00:34:43.280 Only Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the people running the executive,

00:34:47.060 or for that matter, Chuck Schumer.

00:34:48.900 Congress could act, but every single Democrat senator supports these open borders.

00:34:55.480 Every single Democrat congressman supports these open borders.

00:34:58.580 And we have proof of it because if they didn't, they would act to stop it.

00:35:02.420 And they don't. 0.87

00:35:03.480 Instead, they just blame a madman down in Texas.
