In this episode, we discuss the reoccupation of the High Level Bridge and the Trolley Bridge, and how we are responding to the situation. We talk about how we re-establish a camp that has been missing for a while, and what we re doing about it.
00:00:00.000So we're on the north side of the high-level bridge. We had found in the middle of summer a big encampment that was tucked underneath the high-level bridge, that span piece.
00:00:10.900And we just came back today and realized that it's been reoccupied. And as you can see, it's been excavated to the point where the supporting beams are just standing on a small little pillar of earth.
00:00:22.620And then if we look up and to the left, you'll see underneath the trolley bridge, that's been reoccupied as well.
00:00:30.720So somebody's defeated the fence and broke in and then set up a rather large camp underneath that and then tarped it off for privacy, right?
00:00:40.720Beyond that, it's just refuse down below bank here that the campers stay inside and throw out whatever they don't want.
00:00:47.060They've tarped the floor off, they've tarped the walls off in anticipation of likely moving more stuff in.
00:00:52.720So the fact that we're getting to it right now is opportunistic because we're not going to let them have a chance to get re-entrenched.
